depends on who it's from. My gf texts me good morning every day.
if it's a friend or someone that has something important to ask or tell me then no. I am not a morning person and I don't respond to it immediately and then usually forget to respond at all

I send/recieve good morning and good night texts from my GF daily. They aren't necessary but I like them.

I gm my programmer friends and nobody else, maybe because they're all from different timezones so the good morning roll through as the day progresses

I don't like texting unless someone want to hang out or asking me for something. I don't like texting otherwise

My ex was the only person I’ve ever wanted to hear from in the morning…
