Should I warm up before a BJJ tournament or fight without one to not burn out?

Dont warm up ever, matter of fact? Dont train at all. Dont run at all, shit dont even eat well. Just sit there and let nature pump her juices up your tight hole.

Stretch only. Dont do anything that taxes the muscles you'll need to use.

Do a light warm up, you're going to actually waste more energy if you're stiff going in to the fight

Of course. Why wouldn't you? Just do some active stretching, especially for the hips.
