Should I start using dating apps?

Ended a LTR relationship about a year ago and haven't been seeking out anything for a while because of it. Went on a few dates recently with a girl I met at a bar which didn't pan out because I'm not really interested in something casual and she didn't want something serious, but it reinvigorated my desire to be with someone again. I have downloaded Tinder a couple times in the past and deleted after a couple days because I just don't give a FUCK to carry a bs conversation with some girl I don't even know - I can't even bring myself to reply to my friends' texts half the time (I have a great relationship with my friends I am just not a texter). It might be a pride thing which I know is dumb because I have multiple friends who are in excellent LTRs after meeting on apps. I'm 24 if it matters.

Bumping also anyone like Thundercat? He was great at Pitchfork

I heard Hinge is better than Tinder, but I also heard just dming random chicks on Insta, assuming you already have a profile, works too.

dating apps are bile. they carry no emotional weight and are the epicenter of the casual sex craze. avoid at all costs.
find someone elsewhere, in your immediate surroundings. women are becoming more and more difficult to date nowadays, be aware.

>women are becoming more and more difficult to date nowadays, be aware.
There's no evidence of this.

Nah, you’re just getting more and more brain damaged, women are fine to get along with

I know a friend has had success on Hinge but I'm even less motivated to use that than tinder. No ig presence, like 4 pics posted 3+ years ago, and no comments or likes or anything. Goes hand in hand with being a bad texter

My ideal is to meet someone organically (not through the internet).
>women are becoming more and more difficult to date nowadays, be aware
Don't really think that's true

Might as well give it a shot then. I haven't personally used Hinge before, so I can't offer much advice. They might know better over at /soc/.

It was my understanding that /soc/ is full of degenerates

Hinge is fucking cringe. Just face it, our generation us fucked. We will never reproduce or have normal relationships. The boomers ruined it for us.
