A year ago I woke up one morning after sex and it burned a bit when I went to pee, had other symptoms, went to get checked for STD and I didn’t have anything.
I guess it was a UTI and it ended up going away.

About a month ago same thing happened, and the symptoms have mostly gone away but I still experience a thing or two that makes me nervous. I went in for testing a couple days ago so I’ll know for sure next week.

I am anxious though and wondering if any of you have had similar experiences? Do UTI usually go away on their own?

I can't believe someone felt the need to caption that image with a statement so obvious.

HIV takes a month before its detectable

It depends how much risky sex you've had.
If even one time, then it's probably an STI, since it's recurrent discharge and pain.

Good luck.
