i agree S1 was a lackluster, altough it did have certain SOVL to it that most generic shonens lack. From character design, setting and soundtrack, it was all pretty much perfect. Even the last episodes where White narrates her retrospective it seemed a bit similar like the ending of NGE. Still, S1 ending did sucked, S2 is okay i guess...
