Also, try watching the anime at 1.18x the normal speed to fix the bad pacing. Saboady is where new characters and villains are introduced and Marineford is basically a huge climax of everything OP had been building up to before the timeskip. I would argue that you can't say you've watched OP until you've completed Marineford.

Is it ever stated why King's flame goes out? Because Zoro really makes it sound like King is choosing to turn his flame off just so he can go faster, which is fucking stupid. Being invincible is obviously a greater advantage than going slightly faster. If your opponent can't damage you, they can't win.I just can't help dwelling on it because it's the one thing that ruins an otherwise great fight. Oda basically turns King's invincibility off because otherwise the fight is completely unfair and now we're seeing seraphim who are smart enough to not turn their flames off and they're unbeatable so far. Pretty sure Zoro's flame rend technique should let him hurt King no matter what, but then someone tried to tell me that even though King's defense goes up when the flame is on, it's not actually the flames that protect him, as unintuitive as that may be.
