I really like this pace where when the characters have somewhere to go, they're just there despite the presumably long travel time (May to Youswell, Al's party to Lior). Even back to when the bros decided to go to Briggs, you might expect be a small traveling bit for some dialogue but nope, they were in the snow the very next chapter.
