I started grabbing the Serenae batch 1-12 of DP, ready to see more of the cute energy fairies! We finished Fourze tonight, it was decent overall but out of W/OOO/Fourze definitely the least favorite. The final boss/henchmen defeats seemed too easy and unearned considering the episode before the KR were losing horribly. Miu did nothing in the club and we didn't like her. Minor gripes aside it was worth watching, I'm glad Meteor and Tomoko the goth girl had relationship hints near the end of the show.

Done with Maho for today, bit of late and figured i'd do a single 3x3 for all the three episodes, given i don't have much to say.Now i sort of regret not having one for episodes 1-3.Magical baby as always, love to see it, also they've finally called each other by their given name huh?I love those kind of scenes in Precure, ever since that one episode of FW about Nagisa and Honoka and their quarrel, always disappoints me a little when characters begin addressing each other so casually, it's like a sign they've finally achieved friendship status.Not sure how i should feel about the villains yet, Batty so far has done the most but achieved nothing, his design is definitely the coolest.I like their parting phrase but why is it translated as 'getsum paybak'? It's janky, i like it.Next episode PV has them getting the sapphire form, these new forms come and go faster than i expected.Ha-chan is growing up just as quickly and yes, i do know what she will eventually turn into, not completely spoiler-proof on my end.

>>240989490Unfortunately the decision to scrap using all the cures was an inevitable one, as All Stars Memories showed there was a point where they knew it was not feasible to keep using every cure, and I think in the end they made the right decision to stop the tradition with Maho.The thing was if they kept going you’d end up in situations where at best 1 cure from each previous series except the one directly before the current airing series would get a voice line, it was already getting to that point with the obvious exceptions of Nagisa, Honoka, Tsubomi and Erika (and honestly I’m not even sure including Honoka here is correct) Then you have characters like Ako, who got one, maybe two lines in the Smile All Stars movie and then was never heard from again.

Sadly after the first two movies they tended to get relegated in to the background for most of the subsequent ones. To the point where before Toei just decided to turn to three team movies with Kira people started to think they might start quietly removing some of the less popular series from the movies, and everyone tended to agree if that was to happen Splash Star would be first on the chopping block.
>>240990276In the new group movies it’s always the current series and the two previous ones.The crossover solo movies happened with Healin’ Good and Tropical Rouge and they crossed over the Yes 5 and Heartcatch respectively. People aren’t sure what’s happening with the newest solo movie for Delicious Party but it seems like a true solo movie (at this stage anyway) so we aren’t sure if the crossover with older teams is happening anymore.

>>240989678Actually, Honoka has had dialogues in all the crossover movies, including the cameo in Star Twinkle, Miracle Universe along with Nagisa and Mirai.The only time she didn't speak was in New stage 1, but in that movie no team before Fresh had lines of dialogue. Honoka always speaks if Nagisa also speaks. The one they tend to forget is Hikari. Which only has in New stage 2 and All star memories
