Why the hell were they so quick to trust that filthy Britann*an faggot Schenizel and fell to that homodude's ploy to betray their lord and savior, Zero? So what if Zero had Geass? Who the fuck cares?
Ougi I understand since brown pussy is just that irresistible, but the others? Even Kallen and Dietard betrayed Zero. Fucking Rolo had more loyalty than the black knights for fucks sake.

I can only trust Sayoko at this point.
>>
>>216918620
Lelouch was off killing Charles, so the sheep flocked to the closest leader around.
the only one of them that was even relevant was Kallen, so not much of a loss for Lelouch
>>
>>216918620
All of those "sudden" betrayals were foreshadowed by plot developments dating back to R1. Tohdoh and rest of former JLF-members were already perfectly willing to abandon Zero the moment he went missing on Kaminejima, never got over Zero abandoning them during the failed 1st Black Rebellion and finding out that Zero had murdered General Katase and lied about it was the last straw. There were also the lulzworthy ethical concerns over the raid on Geass Order, but I for former terrorists thats laughable in my opinion. OG Black Knights were loyal (apart from Ohgi who had trust issues with Zero) in R1, but never got over Zero abandoning them in First Black Rebellion apart from Tamaki who turned out to be the most loyal one. Diethard initially tried to defend Zero, but switched sides once that position became hopeless. Lastly, Kallen at that point had track record of abandoning Lelouch: betraying him at R1 Epilogue after finding out Zero's identity and once more abandoning Lulu to his own devices when Lelouch was depressed after failed Nunnally rescue in R2 since she couldn't handle seeing the real person behind the mask. To be fair to Kallen, she was perfectly willing to die for Lulu when Black Knights betrayed him and had to be manipulated out of it though. Rolo's loyalty is underrated because the guy gets unfair hate for killing Shirley, legit best younger sibling in the series. As for Sayoko, she wasn't the paragon of loyalty in the 1st season considering that she became Black Knight informant behind Lelouch's back.

>ploy
It was literally not a ploy. Schneizel was not lying or tricking them. Lelouch literally was not on their side, did not care about their cause, was using them for his own ends, and did consider betraying them at multiple points. The fact that he had ignored Schneizel's nuke threats without telling anyone, and thus lead to their current plight, was also true. There was no fucking reason for them to feel loyalty towards him at that stage.

Everything >>216921854 says about the buildup is also true, most of them were losing trust in him well before that point.

>There was no fucking reason for them to feel loyalty towards him
Except EVERYTHING was thanks to Zero.
And liberation of Japan and destruction of Britannia are only possible with Zero's leadership.
yet everyone abandoned him to.... side with their biggest enemy, the most cunning prince in Britannia lmao
Well sucks to be them, in the end Schenizel just used them as a disposable army and got wiped out. Wow nobody expected that! good riddance.

The worst thing about it they didn't even try to have a conversation with Lelouch, asking for clarification for, you know, everything. They, even Kallen just straight up changed side and threaten to kill him, They sucked Schenizel's cock instantly without question.
Just... fucking talk to him, dude. These nipponjins know no honor or loyalty whatsoever.
>>
>>216922569
>These nipponjins know no honor or loyalty whatsoever.
It's pretty funny how the Japanese in Code Geass are incompetent, stupid and disloyal. Is Kallen the only one that has the complete package of competent, smart and loyal?
>>
>>216922883
Suzaku, except he also comes with crippling guilt and a desire to die to atone for his sins.

That's the only part of your post that makes sense. The rest is you reacting to the situation in light of everything that you know as a spectator. The Black Knights don't have this knowledge, and they have every reason at that point to be wary of Zero and his end goals.
>>
LELOUCH BAD!!! GEASS BAD!!! WHY? B-BECAUSE IT JUST IS OKAY!!?!
>>
>BRAINWASHING BAD!
>>
>>216922883
>competent
The fuck are you on about? Kallen jobs repeatedly through the series
>smart
See pic related how highly Lelouch thought of her intelligence
>loyal
Good joke. She betrays her family, country, friends and even the very ideals throughout the series. She's emotionally driven hapa mutt, instead of peak Japanese like Suzaku
>>
how did they know schniezel wasn't using a geass to control them?

Ohgi is only loyal to curry pussy
>>
>>216921854
Yep. We have seen that the Japanese in Code Geass are weak turncoats ready to follow whoever made the best promise at the moment.

You have to look at it from the meta side: It upset us, the viewers but remained mostly believable, which makes it good story telling.

So, after Shinkiro got destroyed, Lelouch had enough time to go to the control room, pre-record his speech to show to Schneizel and pulled a *teleports behind you* on him while already having some soldiers Geass'd?
>>
>>216925618
Yes. Because of that one gag scene in R2, people somehow forgot that while nowhere near the superhuman ubermensch that is Suzaku, Lelouch is pretty damn /fit/ himself. In the first episode of R1 the guy does ukemi into moving truck and fights off Suzaku who thought he was terrorist. In first episode of R2 he manages to evade Villetta pretty easily, and shrugs off that fall in Babel tower without problems. Or how Lulu spent most of both seasons heavily sleep deprived without significant side effects.

Yet all of that shit which would normally be impressive doesn't really seem much when Suzaku is around because the latter runs on walls dodging machinegun fire at point blank range while breaking steel with his kicks
>>
>>216925939
>how Lulu spent most of both seasons heavily sleep deprived without significant side effects
except his brains taking a day off every once in a while
>>
>>216918620
Because the black knights were chafing under Zeros leadership and recent failures and they wanted an excuse to remove him.
>>
>>216921970
It was a business transaction.
They get Japan, Lelouch gets Charles' head.
Fucking nips couldnt understand that they were involved in the most dependable and unbreakable relationship in the world, one based on mutual exploitation.

If anything Lelouch should have been worried that they'd refuse to take the next step after he freed Japan.
>>
>>216926320
>If anything Lelouch should have been worried that they'd refuse to take the next step after he freed Japan.
That’s kinda why he didn’t want Euphemia’s plan to happen
>>
>>216926430
Yeah...and then he gets guilt tripped because he's a massive fucking siscon before....
Actually why the hell did he make such a stupid joke like 'lol kill all the japs'?
>>

>>

>Lelouch is a siscon
Only for Euphie, Nunnallyfags love to ignore the fact that Lulu did his best to pimp Nunnally to Suzaku
>>
>>216927694
He wanted his best friend to marry his sister. Its a good plan.
>>
>>216918620
>So what if Zero had Geass? Who the fuck cares?
Everyone? How can you know he hasn't used it on you?
>>
>>216930030
If he had used it on them to ensure their undying devotion they couldnt have betrayed him in the first place.
>>
>>216930057
So? Geass orders aren't limited to this.
>>
>>216930110
But thats what they were so worried about, that he'd stripped their free will away. If they were worried that he, say, ordered them to go get him ice cream or help him bury a whore then they completely over-reacted.

They were either retarded one way or the other..
>>
>>216930194
But he's stripped their free will away no matter the order. That's the thing: you can't be sure he hasn't used the power on you, and you can't know what for if he has.
>>
>>216930300
But they know for sure that he hasn't made them mind slaves, therefore they can fucking put their anti geass glasses on and talk to the motherfucker and find out instead of just going straight for the 'lets trust our enemy and kill our god damn leader'
They panicked and they made a fucking dumb choice. It happens and its not bad writing if it was intended to be taken that way, but what Ohgi and co did was not smart. From an audience perspective or an in universe, black knight one

Kallen was absolutely going to stay loyal to Lelouch, he intentionally pushed her away in a way that would get her to lose trust in him, to protect her.

Lelouch reminds me of Sephiroth from Final Fantasy in the sense that they're both the bad guys who caused the deaths of the girls (Aerith and Euphemia), so that Cloud and Suzaku can have a motivation to hate their arch-enemies.
>>
>>216935116
Considering the fact that she was the prison bitch of both the Chinese Federation and Britannia, its highly likely Kallen did indeed get bred before Nunnally gave her the luxus prison cell
