I am saving all my Genesis 8.1 character's morphs into one file and had some questions:

I have heard that I should have mouth realism at 0% so i've done that, but I was wondering should I have my Head/Body/Iris HD details baked in with the morph?

I am leaving the nipple and the naval sliders set to 0 on the basis that most of the time they will have clothes on and these might interfere with clothing, and it's easier to add them than remove them, is this what everyone else does?

Is there much difference between the HD Details, I have quite a few from products, but it's hard to tell the difference, am I missing something or should I just add the Victoria 8.1 HD details.

It's a privately held company 90% owned by venture capital firms whose idea of recouping their investment is firing all the techies and subcontracting periodic updates to pajeets.
DS itself is hardlocked to an ancient version of Trolltech's Qt framework because its scripting engine is Qt 4's WebKit which Qt abandoned in version 5 due to security problems, and the current Qt is 6 which has an incompatible scripting engine. They'll either have to jettison all scripting support or somehow build WK themselves for DS for the foreseeable future, and they don't have skilled enough code monkeys for it. On top of all of this the application requires an enterprise level database running in the background only because it has no licensing costs compared to lighter DBs like MariaDB, and having multiple figures in a scene slags performance regardless of your video hardware.
It's not a shitty program but it's in shitty hands, and both DS and Poser are watching Blender take their market.

To get G3, G8 or G9 work in UE properly, you need bunch of scripts and even custom built UE. Even then, it is shit.

Just use reallusion. They have at least tried to make their shit work seamlessly with game engines.

Yeah it's DAZ. The outfit is Street Rider Suit. Morph looks to be something by guhzcoituz or one of fadeam's character morphs with more morphs added in. look for the Sarah Bryant morph. Skin seems to be MeradeDAZ Samus. Daz allows to easily mash up a lot of stuff. For the Hair if you look for creators who do video game ports you'll probably find it.

Apparently Deovr is a scheme to make you buy 3D streaming content, but the App's free and works and don't push too much for random bullshit, so IDK. Many things load in perfect. principled setup makes more mistakes. For Maya there is not really any good auto-shader setup last time I checked which was quite a while ago. You have to roll your own and know how to do good shaders in your chosen render engine.

I've packed the textures in Blender then unpacked, then I've imported them in Substance Painter

Some hairs have excellent nodes/bones.

But basically, on hairs: You can use normal transmap hair, which doesn't pose that well without a lot of bones (which some hair do).

You can use dforce strand hairs, which use 25 GB of VRAM.

Or you can use dforce non-strand hairs, which are banned on Daz store. Because Daz really wanted strand hairs because hype because NVidia.

Daz being absolutely moronic, stupid, retarded, cretinous, there are no good solutions for now. Wait a little while for Daz to remarket dforce non-strand hair as "Dforce Physic Based Geometric Gravitic Hair" or something pr worthy, and to unban them from their store, and the solution will be here.

i didn't say to fuck with the uvs i said to bake the maps to the dicktator uv.
dicktator has a seperate uv map and it blends dicktator textures (on the dicktator uv) with daz torso textures (on the daz uv) to create a seamless transition with the rest of the body while still maintaining high resolution dick

to bake:
select your model
go into edit mode
select the dicktator material slot and click select to select the vertices
press p to separate
delete all material slots except the dicktator one
open the uv editor window
select the dicktator uv in the uv list so you can see the unwrapped dick
open the shader editor
make a new image node
click new, set the dimensions and name it
attach a uv map with the dicktator uv to the image node
attach your desired output channel (i.e. diffuse) to a diffuse shader and connect that to the material output
open teh render settings, set to cycles
open the bake settings section
set bake type to diffuse, disable direct and indirect lighting contributions
select the dick object
select the image node in the shader editor
press bake
make sure to save the image from the uv editor (image > save)
repeat for whatever textures you want in substance

you can also try to aoe bake all the textures at once by using the standard principled shader into the material output and not using the diffuse only texture mode but i find it fucks things up

I've selected the penis and entered edit mode.

The dicktator penis has 6 material slots though
If I delete the Torso-Front, the pubis area becomes black.
I've selected the vertices on every material slot, pressed P and chose Separate>Selection

those different materials (except torso front) are probably just the same textures with potentially different settings so you could in theory combine the ones with the same preview icon

As an early adopter because I'm a sucker for freckle bitches, there's no point yet. The big selling point was higher res base materials but you can literally do that to any generation figure. Figures also appear to be torn between using no default masc/fem base or 100% their own morph for characters. Makes mixing and matching shapes fairly odd sometimes, specifically boobs.
