This is the first model I've made without assistance, what do you think of it?
>>

>>
do you have your screen gamma and contrast at 100%?
>>
Good stuff. Ignore the crabs

OP here. This is a wire of the same model. I love to kill threads to show my simple renders.

>>893579
Thanks but I already had my ration of cum.

>>893583
Yes I love to render at gamma below 1 because I like my renders like my men, very dark.

>>893592
Sorry but I already have the crabs. I aim to be the gayest man alive.

>>893605
None. All my bandwidth is spent on gay porn.

Ok guys thanks for the feedback se ya when I kill another thread to show my shit.
>>
>>893698
Good try, but you're not the OP. Compare the knobs, they're different.

That wouldn't be proof that he's not the OP, he very easily could have just changed the knobs, but that's not even the reason the wireframe looks different. As you can see in my attached image, I have created an exact replica of OP's model (because I am experienced and I use zbrush), but that doesn't mean I am OP just because they are identical.

Use blender, make better renders thanks to eevee. Thank me later.

Always create integrations between elements of your models. Don't clip them in giving it a fake CG look. Most aspiring 3d artist do not do this. At best even the rising stars just cheat with camera angles, lighting and visual obstructions like the fat girl angle shot version of 3D.

Congratulations though on the first cutting of the umbilical cord. It really gets rewarding when you come back to parts of a project you couldn't do and breeze through them with another solution you figured out and when you're cutting videos short because you already get the jist and do it all on your own.

GOOD MORNING SIR

pretty cool!
reminds me of the TV from courage the cowardly dog
keep grinding bro!

>>893578
Work on lighting and bevel your tv edges and see where that takes you.
>>
>>893578
I like it, reminds me of the cg from early fmv 90s games.

use cycles or octane
>>
>>893876
Eevee is only better if you absolutely make no effort to make your lightning work
>>
>>893578
Looks like an unturned prop. You should consider bevelling the edges to make them look less sharp.
>>
Good job OP.

You can add some details for more interest while preserving the overall style:
>Bevels on the cabinet
>Curvature on the screen (post-bevel. will match real-life CRTs better if the inner bevel edge follows the curve while outer edge is uniform and straight)
>Ridges on the dials (normal map)
>Some kind of grille or panelling
>Emissive texture on the screen (white noise or some retro VHS style video)

Solid advice. Take note, chuds.
>>
>>893876
> blender
> rendering something or modeling in hardsurface
it's easier to forget about it.

congrats you're 30 years behind

Just add thin bevel to the edges and itll look miles better, the light will hit off it good
