The closest thing you would find is this. But good luck with applying it to a female model. Cloth converters doesn't work that great for me so i can't even use business suits. Autofit doesn't work that great too. Not sure if dforce would work too. So good luck

Daz power is it uniformity. Assets library is a good direction for blender but its not there yet. When it does, it will be the end of daz. I think daz knows this and aware of this new competitor, so they are shifting their focus to making blender bridges and stuffs.

Daz Studio is a conceptual offshoot of Poser (which no-one use anymore). It also integrated state-of-the-art photorealistic pathtracing and now we can all cum and play with dolls in ultra-photorealism. It only takes several hours to render on a NVidia GPU, don't be cheap.

Most lightning products come from two type, environment light and scene lights, sometime both.
When you load the environment lights stuffs, usually they just load the HDRI environment map with some tweaks here and there, for example, like some shutter speed settings, some environment intensity, that kind of stuffs. You could click the environment and tone mappper option in the scene tab and the click currently used to see what make them tick. The HDRI could be anything from outdoor environment to studio setting.
Scene lights products usually provide you lots of props that product light for you to play with, like that bokeh's soft fill light.
The kim's lights is a set of props that give off subtle light, with a basic carpet. There are alot of backdrop products for you to choose from, for example fabiana energy flow or liliflame promo drape.
Camera is simple, just choose a good angle for your scene in perspective view then Create->new camera-> copy perspective view

Well I fucked something up pretty badly. If I don't render in scene only mode, the image comes out almost completely white. I tried resetting environmental settings, the scene, the tonemaps and more but nothing works. Is there really no asset that can deal with my primitive brain?
I want to be able to pick spot where my models are, then pick a location to look at that spot from, then it automatically sets up the lighting according to these parameters? The closest thing to your request is enviroment map, you could choose from different set of HDRIs products, there are alot of them avaiable on the net. You load them, and then change the light intensity(enviroment intensity), rotate the dome so the light shine on your character face or back, or side, depend on your liking. Also you could add some soft fill light or face light to brighten your characters.
Another option is download some preset scene lights and mess around with them. Try IDG Impact lightning, just messing around with it and you will get the the hang of it eventually

How do I achieve this skin quality with Cycles? Which nodes should I edit/add to make the skin at least as shiny? Left is Daz viewport with the default dome light and right is Blender with low samples and a shitty denoiser on top of it. Well, I downgraded everything to a maximum resolution of 2048×2048. Now it renders pretty fast and the results aren't significantly different. if you use IRAY then yes because of bounce lighting. But you can limit that by making a sky dome so the rays cant travel infinite before hitting something.
Or you can create a box and just scale it up so your scene fit within and then that will work as the "edge".
Lastly in IRAY you can control the ray distance in the render settings. Lowering it too much will result in render errors but will cut down on render time.

if you want to up your game, install this HDRI and remove any walls in your scene you aren't using so the light can come in. Go on youtube and learn the three-point lighting system. Your render has almost no shadows which makes it look realistic. shadows are good it highlights and shapes the face

My trick is, mix the oil with metallic flakes, its make the skin even more shiny and all sparkles, and without the monotone, empty, plastic look.
One down side tho, it reall take a toll on your rendering time.

manual for now. The body shape of Miranda is so different from the genesis 8 base that (limb length mostly) that I dont think it would look good to force the suit to fit it. So ill do a custom body shape first that fits the suit.
The head is cheating right now as its just projected but a warp3 is the best to do that. Then just work from there. Also I am using the old ME2 version of the suit / body but the new legendary edition face.
The hair I havent started on so its just pure geometry right now but I am thinking of doing just a strandbased hair that is somewhat similar in style.

I'm trying to set up Lickalicious. Why does it keep giving me these lizard sized tongues? Changing the length makes it even more deformed. Even with a default Genesis 8 and default Lickalicious config, it's simply too large for the figure.

No, you don't get it. Your leaning into some COPE right now. You use photoshop to alleviate having to do the same work in daz3d. Doing these tasks in photoshop is 100000000x easier than attempting in daz3d, because photoshop actually works. Again, daz3d is not a place for artistic creation, you pose assets, you light them and render them for use elsewhere and that's it.
