Hello /x/. I have traveled back in time to December 6 2018. I enjoy this website and I would like to extend the courtesy of answering questions regarding time travel. Please feel free to ignore or ask away.

Yo when does the wall break?
if you know what I mean.
>>
>>21850758
Which wall? Is it currently standing or is this a wall you predict will be built?
>>
>>21850762
The wall like anything is a construct of set laws and scientific pillars,
I know something is going to break/be revealed.
do you know when this would be even if its your own personal interpretation of events I'd like to hear it.
>>
>Utilizing the name option so that nobody tries to succeed with an untruthful narrative.

>>21850768
The principals of science and the laws of nature remain largely unchanged. You will see large strides in planetary protection in the next two decades. Also something you may find interesting as far as a 'break'. Almost no one believes in a higher power, or any sort of spiritual being. There will be a large shift in opinions on this by the mid 2040s. I'm sure some of you have already started to notice.

>>21850771
2020 - Joe Biden. Male Democrat. Barack Obama's vice president, dies in office, health related.
2024 - Timothy Stewart. Male Democrat.
2032 - Amelia Stewart. Female Democrat. First female president, no relation to Timothy Stewart, dies in office, assassination.
2033 - David Carthy. Male Green Party. Amelia Stewart's vice president.
2036 - Kim Wu - Male Republican. First Asian president.

This is just off the top of my head. I do not have access to the web from my time as I am here. I can try to expand on any of them to the best of my ability if you wish.

2019 The servers of a major US Municipality are hacked. The files of politicians, the police department, and the bureacracy are sent to the media, assosicated press, activists, various file sharing sites, deep web and the world at large.

I've seen the three Blade Runner movies and read a few graphics when I was younger. It does look similar in certain cities. Some are cleaner and some are dirtier. It does not rain like in those movies though. You may need to attach an image to get a more precise answer.
>>21850839
I don't know what that means and I'm unfamiliar with the image you attached, I'm sorry.
>>21850842
I study at the Massachusetts Collective of Technology. We were given a grant and authorization to build this housing. Myself and the two others I had mentioned previously are traveling to three chosen (not by us) time periods. I don't have much information on aliens. My mother told me something that couldn't be identified passed by Earth when I was a child. But from what I know they have never made contact with humans.
>>21850844
No, I'm sorry, that would most likely be life in prison for myself.
>>21850846
You are correct about the water, I would recommend moving higher above sea level if possible. War does not destroy Los Angeles but crime will continue to rise.
>>21850848
Whatever holding company controls Google and Intel right now, or if they aren't held together, each of their respective holding companies. India becomes a superpower around 2032 as they assist in the Mars mission if I remember correctly. No, I don't think any physical mass would exist if I messed it up. That would be very difficult in the first place.
>>
Tell me something about altenate universe/quantum immortality or just AYY LMAO

So why did you still use English? What happened to other language like chink or moon? Are they finally getting BTFO?
>>
>>21850856

>Still relevant by the year of 2081
Top LARP my friend
>>
>>21850871
Still largely a mystery, but advancements are being made by government funded projects similar to mine to hopefully achieve the transportation to an alternate universe. I would say we'll be there in the next five years give or take.
>>21850873
I live in the United States and it's spoken in most European and African countries. The Chinese make up just under a fourth of the population right now.
>>21850876
I didn't say Google or Intel, I said their holding companies. They are not going anywhere.

>>
>>21850891
I don't believe he ever was in prison.
>>21850892
In what sense?
>>
Are there any major threats we should be aware of?
>>
Major events. Shifts in demographic. Political systems. Or if they adopted something similar lime China's credit system. Any changes.
>>
When can we start to live in Mars? When is WW3?
>>
>>21850894
Yes, the planet is currently ruined. Antarctica does not exist, it melted a decade before I was born. War is not very prevalent any more and hasn't been for almost forty years so I wouldn't worry too much about that.
>>21850897
There is a large war in central Europe between that was originally between Croatia and Hungary. Many countries in the EU were involved but that's about the end of it. The US or any of the major superpowers do not get involved. There was a very large rise in conservative extremism in the late 2020s. The credit system is standard across almost all 'first world' countries.
>>21850898
I couldn't tell you, there have been two manned missions to Mars so far, but I would bet we are still a hundred years off from actual habitation. A third World War has not happened.
>>

>>
What about religion? Is it still cuckristian?
>>
Is this the past for you, or just an alternative world with an timeline that coincide with your past?
>>
Can we finnaly clone/transfer brain/stop aging to become immortal?
>>
>>21850909
Yes, extensively. Disease is very rare.
>>21850910
No, as I mentioned previously myself and two others are traveling to predetermined time periods. Unfortunately none of use are going forward from our present. I highly doubt I would be able to get anything substantial regardless.
>>21850914
I had mentioned further up how many people do not believe in a higher power. Religion is still prevalent but it is more human centric.
>>21850916
This is the past.
>>21850917
Physical immortality has been determined to be impossible. We do have the ability to transfer consciousness to another human brain but it is not common. This process and procedure is also very immoral in some eyes.
>>
>>21850922
Since time travel is common now in your era. Just ask some traveler from the future(year 3000+++) to your era about aliens.
>>
>>21850922

>>
Tell me about fucking Vidya. What advancement?
>>
The universe where I killed myself would continue on without me as if I was never there. Possibly some very small differences but I can't say for sure.
>>21850931
It's not common. It is heavily regulated by the governments of the US, China, and Norway. Only some have the means to actually do it. Time travel without the proper equipment guarantees decades if not life in prison. I would have no idea who to even contact for information like that.
>>21850934
John Titor is a proven hack. The original man that posted some of those stories attempted to commercialize his story and wrote a book about sixty years ago.
>>21850937
The US is still largely Caucasian but about a quarter is Hispanic with the rest being of Asian decent along with much smaller minority groups. As I stated before just under a quarter of the world is Chinese, I would estimate half are Caucasian and the other quarter is African or other Asian demographics.

I don't know anything about extraterrestrial life. I have explained that multiple times. I am not keeping secrets unless they are directly damaging to myself or our project. No physicists I am aware of are close. The closest thing is currently in fiction and has been passed off as crazy. There was a couple from Norway that 'invented' time travel. Jens and Emelie Eriksson. All three of us are technicians with a specialty in another field. I am a data analyst, another is a biologist, and the last is a neuroscientist. We work at the Massachusetts Collective of Technology funded by a grant from the US government.

>>21851119
We did not build it or invent the technology behind it. We assisted in assembling it as we were going to be the ones operating it. The team, most of which are waiting for us to come back in a month, was of about 100 people. Yes it was formerly MIT.

You are of the opinion that you know how time travel works.
>>21851182
If by 'the war' you mean the largest war then it is the war within the United States that hasn't ended. It's not a traditional war, but many states have formed alliances to fight against the federal government and mostly attack through computer and intelligence warfare. It doesn't largely effect me since I am not on the western coast. There have been a few other noteworthy wars, China invaded Japan, Australia attempted to take New Zealand, what you know as Papua New Guinea, and the Philippines, and a civil war in Russia. Nothing has rivaled the second World War however.
>>21851184
There is no matrix like in the movie but I would say those 'glitches' are misconceptions and quirks of the human brain.
>>
>>21850733
You said one of the most influential men in your time is the man who commercialized space travel, is that right?
How far does the commercial space travel reach? And how much farther does space exploration reach?
Oh and your society should have started seeing transmissions from the probes we sent out this year to the Proxima system, because it should have only taken about 40 years. What kind of information did we get from the probes sent to the Proxima system? And have we sent any to the probes Sirius system? If so, what did we learn from them?
Are we still sending out transmissions to outer space? Have we received any new interesting signals?
Do you know what Ouamouama the space cylinder is? It passed by Earth earlier this year, what do scientists in the future learn from it?
Have there been any discoveries about alien life?

So if I have this right, there are at least five major wars between now and your time?
Certainly other countries got involved in those wars, right?
Did the US and United Nations just allow Australia and China to try to take over those other nations?

>>
>>21851196
Yes, Thomas Arasa commercialized space travel. Commercial space travel goes no farther than the Moon which has been colonized but it is comparable to a vacation. Very few people live there. Manned exploration missions have gone no farther than Mars but we have branched far out past our galaxy and can record and collect data extremely quickly and accurately. I am not too certain on what was discovered in the Proxima system, I'm sorry. We have sent out multiple probes to the Sirius more recently however. Reportedly there are habitable planets and what looks like organic matter. Now that we are much more capable of receiving information from space we get signals quite frequently but most are indecipherable. I'm sorry I don't know what Ouamouama is, but I had mentioned earlier that what was thought to be a spacecraft passed by the planet before I was born. Alien life is still disputed heavily but we have found remnants of carbon life and organic matter in our solar system, particularly on Pluto.

Democracy is still a term in use but the current US government is closer to what I'd call a 'true democracy'. Voting is very easy and people vote on an issue to issue basis, all digitally. The people have kind of become a form of congress or senate. Transportation is really nice honestly, you can get from the eastern coast to the western coast on the hyperrail in about half an hour. Most people don't drive cars but some still like to drive 'classics' which I guess would be the cars coming out in about thirty years from your present day. Energy is almost entirely solar and wind across the globe. No Tesla cars anymore but they have moved into the aviation sector.
>>21851324
China's invasion of Japan happened in 2065. Australia's war on New Zealeand and the others took place in 2078. I don't remember the exact date of the civil war in Russia but it was close to your present day than mine. The civil war here in the US is still ongoing, and that is the only current war. Japan 'won' against China since the United Nations stepped in. Australia controls New Zealand and the Philippines now but not what you know as Papa New Guinea. The Russian government won against the people. As a result Russia took a big hit to their economy but they recovered, in fact it made them stronger. Australia became stronger of course as they control a larger part of the globe. Japan took a big hit as well but China lost a lot of respect in the public eye. Yes, the US completely gave up in the middle east, I think we finally came around and realized it was an extreme waste of time and money.

I can share some of what I have gathered in another post but I need to head out for a bit and I will be back here later on, most likely with another thread soon as well. Time travel has existed for six years. There is a joint group of nations that regulates it. The US, China, Norway, Japan, and England. The US and Norway are the big players. Officially nobody has visited my present day from my future, but I am sure it has happened. We rarely travel to the future, I doubt I'm almost certain I never will, but it does happen on occasion. I agree with your that it is "presently" impossible, but yes there is such a thing as almost impossible. Almost impossible is defined as possible and non-trivial, and not defined as impossible. Just because proposed mechanisms of time travel often require the presence of an exotic condition as such as a tipler cylinder, closed time like curves or a gravitational singularity does not make it impossible to formulate a mathematical model in which it is possible, it's just not accessible to humans through any currently known means.

Think of it this way theyre probably
even more blind than we are. The Nort America is what I call a cursed land. You had a somewhat advanced civilization that existed before the first European colonies. It disappeared this people were akin to the Aztecs. So that means brutal sacrifice to the Gods they believed in. The land was bloody before the first white men ever came.

Then Europeans came colonized the land. The US was founded then many of the native people were murdered or died from infectious disease. The Americans built upon the land without restraint. Now the land is poisoned and missused in many areas. The once great nation that conquered it is in jeopardy of collapse due to many different factors. Ironically now Mexicans and Central Americans many of whom are decended from Aztecs and Mayans are in every US state in ever increasing numbers and will likely outnumber white Europeans within forty years.

Does history repeat itself? Its kind of strange. This illustration is not of a settlement in Mexico. Im interested to know what the truth is behind everything.

No.
A world war won't happen in the next few decades as there is simply no potential for it. Resources as of right now are abundant, we really don't have two opposing ideologies and sides and economic interests stand in the way of making a war.

Wars aren't fought for the sake of it and when you seriously believe that the US or any other nation is willing to support the rebels any longer and or that the civil war isn't about to end in favour of Putin, you're really disconnected to reality.

It means fields or anything that doesnt actually have matter in it e.g. magnets interacting instantaneously at a distance inside a vacuum, physicists say matter is in it. When there is not. Electrical engineers vs physicists. Tesla vs einstein etc
>>
And what's the price of precious metals, silver specifically? Do they appreciate much or stay flat in the near future?
>>
>>21852949
But where then do you define the standard of what matter is? Rest mass? Charge? Spin? The photon, the field quanta of the electromagnetic field still has energy which obeys the mass energy equivalence and interacts with fermions, so is it not matter? The fermions that compose the hadrons that you are familiar with like protons and neutrons are composed of quarks (fermions) and gluons (bosons like the photon) that are the quanta of the fermionic and gluon fields respectively. I think personally that it is strange to divide these things into matter and non matter, in the case of the fermions being matter and the bosons being non matter as they all interact with each other in so many ways, and they are all capable of being categorised as both particles and fields. Also to dispel your misunderstanding, magnets do not interact instantaneously, the electromagnetic field propagates at the speed of light because its field quanta is the photon

>>21851532
You do not understand the nature of time travel, as I have said before.
>>21851544
Print media still exists, although quite rare. Music has remained largely unchanged from my understanding but a lot of people I know listen to rock music. Yes people read psychical books. Self driving cars are not very common, tube systems are the main source of transportation. Automation has largely taken over most business sectors. Most people are not obese in my present day. I do not use substance myself, but a lot of people like liquid forms of ARL and opioids. The United Nations ceases the acitons of Israel. Some are tried for war crimes. I would assume a social justice warrior is similar to a civil rights advocate, if so they are still very prevalent.
>>21851558
I would assume so.
>>21851566
I do not know what Steins Gate is.
>>21851571
2019.
>>21851574
Above 14 billion.
>>21851593
Nothing major as far as I know, it was involved in the war in Europe as I've mentioned but it is still standing.
>>21851633
I have no desire to prove anything to anyone, as I've already stated.
>>21851734
Artificial partners became popular before I was born, sometime in the late 2030s.
>>21851796
Yes.

>>
>>21852103
I have no desire in convincing anyone it is real. You do not know how quantum transportation works.
>>21852133
I have addressed my mistake on my post above this. Sorry for the confusion. Global population is just above 14 billion. There are large gaps in social class yes. Caucasians are alive yes, one of my other posts details that.
>>21852178
No we are not taught about an ancient culture. I am skeptical of our origins myself but I can not comment on how factual any of this is.
>>21852332
Canada has become one of the permanent members of the United Nations. They no longer have a military. I have been there, it is quite nice.
>>21852364
Conflict is not as prevalent as you think. As I have stated there are wars between your present day and my present day but nothing of that scale.
>>21852472
No I have not, I'm sorry.
>>21852520
LG did not patent time travel.
>>21852527
Yes I could return with another person or objects. I am fully intending to return with non organics. My operation is not to return with another human, but it has happened before.
>>21852528
I enjoy the works of Gary Appleton, John Snum, Alexis Alexi. Some filmmakers from your time are still popular, Kubrick, Fincher, Van Sant.
>>21852531
I do not know what you mean exactly by deep learning but we still learn from reading and experience much like you do in your present day. Some learn through implanting and uploading.
>>21852660
You'll have to specify what you mean.
>>21852849
It is largely industrial, similar to the western coast and states. From what I've read some used to consider it somewhat backwards and broken but it is not currently like this.
>>21852930
The sea level does rise, some islands are gone and most countries have been effected in some way.
>>
>>21850733

What about poverty and income, you mentioned automation has taken over most of the business, so how do people earn money or live, because you also mentioned social classes, so, some have earn more than others.
>>
>>21852940
>>21852940
Supremacy and racial disputes are considered very unacceptable in my present day. I have read about the enslavement of multiple cultures in the past and it disgusts me. Transgendered individuals can get this operation. Yes we eat animal protein, most is grown and not farmed. I have stated previously that hunger is nonexistent.
>>21853021
The appreciate wildly, I do not the current price of silver but I have met people who have made a fortune off of handfuls of gold. There are no precious metals left to retrieve from the Earth. We are looking at alternatives.
>>21853274
No. I have stated before that I do not intend to directly change anything or prevent anything.
>>21853287
I do not know anything about a Grand Solar Minimum. There was no ice age from your present day to my present day. The Illuminati has never been what you may think. There are some very elite groups but they do not control the planet in my present day. Latin America is a nice place, largely democratic. Lots of migration from Africa. Religion is partially Christian, but as I've stated religion is more human centric. Yes many people have implants and modifications. Androids are not as advanced as humans but there are lifelike robots and partners.
>>21853431
I have stated previously that he is regarded as a somewhat weak president but from my understanding he faded out and was forgotten quickly.
>>21853477
Much of California is ravaged with crime but nothing significant happens to San Francisco. Virtual reality rooms are standard in most houses, people live in these worlds. I do not recall learning of any devastating earthquakes but they do still occur.
>>21853490
The planet in my present day is very warm. Global wildfires are common. Sea level rising and swallowing islands.
>>21853526
No.
>>21853562
If I remember correctly it erupted before I was born. The area is not very habitable.
>>
>>21853593
Poverty is still a problem outside of the US. As I have mentioned before we are a fairly isolationist nation so resources have been turned towards the people. Very few humans work in the labor sector, but most work in education and technology or similar fields. There is also generous government subsidizing. I have mentioned the 'war' here in the United States and that effects a large part of the population so they are not concerned with work. Some are very powerful and extremely wealthy. This is part of the reason for the 'war' here.

>>
>>21853613

Outside of US as in mexico and latin america or the rest of the world?
>>
>>21853628
No and I will not.
>>21853633
I do not know what either of those are so no. But there are stores and chains of course.
>>21853634
Yes they are. Reproduction is still between two humans. Both cloning and artificial reproduction is banned in all countries with the capability. Although illegal it does happen. Artificial intelligence is quite advanced. I have mentioned that I avoid it for the most part out of choice. The Turing test was passed in 2031, and the Maxin test was passed in 2037. The current superpowers are the United States, Canada, China, Russia, and Norway. I can not comment on which are bad and which are good, that is too broad of a question.
>>21853635
The southwest is largely industrial but like the south. Arizona, New Mexico, and southern California are comparable to wastelands aside from their production capability. I am not familiar with Fallout Franchises and as I've stated I do not have access to my web, only your current Internet.
>>21853641
No it is not, I have stated that nuclear weapons are nonexistent in my present day. I am not familiar with cicada 3301, I'm sorry.
>>21853645
You'll have to specify what you mean by trends. I did not decide, I was picked, I do not feel any specific way about it. I have most of my memory, as I am able to answer some of questions in detail. But there are some gaps from when I was a child and from my teen years. It feels normal.

>There was a very large rise in conservative extremism in the late 2020s.

How much does this affect to some minorities? Are muslims, lgbt, or black people killed or hated, or what happens? Please, explain this to me.
>>
>>21853800
No. There are biological weapons that can cause a similar effect however.
>>21853825
This has been answered multiple times. I can not and will not divulge how it works. If I killed myself in my past then the world would continue on without me.
>>21853833
My genetics have not been modified in any way. But yes it is possible to manipulate genes. Humans can be modified in a number of ways, some genetic, some artificial.
>>21853849
It largely affected minorities in most European countries and some of the United States. There was a string of killings and small scale attacks that were directly handled by NATO and the governments of the countries they took place in. In my present day though supremacy is very looked down upon and hate crimes are almost nonexistent.

I have been vaccinated for any type of disease known to the planet in 2018. I have also been checked and rechecked before leaving my present day as to not bring anything to your present day.
>>21853883
Yes that is possible, but not very common. I do not know the exact price of copper but as with all metals it is in demand and low volumes are traded. Yes data is stored immensely well. A petabyte can be stored on a chip the size of a shirt button. I have gone more in depth on religion in other posts but most people are not spiritual, nor do they believe in a higher power. Religions still exist but they focus on humans and humanity.
>>21853898
Franklin Massie, Kristina Flores, Vladislaw Nowak, Michael Guzman, Timothy Brelmen.
>>21853899
>>21853904
No, although I will say I have a much different understanding of time and view it differently compared to when I was a youth.
>>21853902
China, Canada, Norway, and some argue Japan but I disagree.
>>21853903
Nothing very major or damaging. They are involved in the European war that I have mentioned which helped their economy but they have not been destroyed in my present day.
>>21853909
Mentioned previously, a computer passed the Turing test in 2031 and the Maxin test in 2037. The theory of a singularity has not happened in my present day and I do not believe it will. Artificial intelligence, although very helpful to most, is still viewed as possibly dangerous. Automation has taken over the labor sector but it has not gone much further than that.
>>21853916
We still do not fully understand time. The way we view it can only be slightly compared to a value that we can manipulate. I would say that your current understanding of it is incorrect.

The Futility Of Man, it will be released in a few years and will be regarded as revolutionary.
>>21853996
April 2075 is when time travel is 'invented'. You will not have access to it as you will be and old man or dead.
>>21854034
I am not traveling through a brain, and I have my own memories. There is a neuroscientist on our team of three. It is technically possible to save the ice caps but it will not happen.
