I've been using an Android Nougat phone with an micro SDHC formatted as internal storage, never had a problem with the card. Suddenly it stopped working properly, some apps were not loading, I assume the ones that had data written to the micro SDHC. I thought the card got corrupted and just had to reformat to fix it, but when I try it on Android i get the error message "command failed" and in Windows I can't format it because it's detected as "write protected".Any ideas how to fix this?
>>615169If it won't format then it's broken, and if it's broken that's why it stopped working. There's no fixing this, just buy a new one.
Did you flip the switch on the adapter, that little lock thing might be what's making it write protected.
>>615247yeah, I also inserted the micro sdhc directly into the appropriate slot in a multi adapter and still can't format it, tried EaseUS, diskpart, partition manager, only thing I'm yet to try is linux but I think the card is gone for good. Thanks for your help though
