Yes and I highly doubt that he (the thanos-alike) would have the precision, much less the speed to catch him to even start with.

Congrats on missing the point. The show isn't about being "dark." It's about showcasing superheroes as if they were real people. Some would try to do good, others would be greedy, while others would be egotistical assholes, etc. Someone with the ultimate powers of Superman would probably end up being corrupt like Homelander.

The Tick is superior in every way, even the remake - still had the same charm. I'm so sick of the jaded cynical comedy show thing going on now. Except that this "hur hur evil superman" shit is so tired and misses the point. Superman isn't Superman because of his powers. He's Superman because he's a paragon. Same with Batman, Wonder Woman, and so on. They all exemplify some virtue or set of virtues. Their adventures are not the struggles of power versus power, but battles of philosophy.

Without the message, shit like this is just trash. It's derivative fanfiction that completely misses the reason why the source is compelling in the first place.

What good are paragons of virtue when those virtues are gone. Take patriotism, who I suspect this guy here with the lazer eyes and star spangled get up is supposed to represent.
Ever consider the idea that the symbol of patriotism doesn't exist in the zeitgeist any more.

The thing is Your absolutely right and you don't even realize it. Its a battle of Philosophy except that philosophy has been perverted and destroyed.

Good taste. Age of Ultron wasn't THAT bad though. I mean sure it has Tony literally getting away with murder YET AGAIN (a thing that he does later on with Homecoming*) with no repurcussions whatsoever, but at this point it's practically a trope in the MCU.

But you have to also view things as a percentage, yes Marvel have put out more bad films than Fox. But that's because Marvel have put out more bad films than Fox have put out TOTAL.
Also, that fucking Fantastic 4 film should count as double. Did you fucking see that thing? It was fucking awful beyond imagining.
Fox have put out 4 good films with their marvel licence. 4. In over thirty years. Marvel puts out that many in a year.

*And Civil War, but since it's nowhere near to the extent that it was in the comics I can give it a pass.

In the long run, probably not, and the Superhero fatigue is going to hit like a freight train any minute now. Especially since they just killed off Iron Man, Captain America and are looking to kill off Thor if the rumours are true as to how the MCU version of FemThor is going to go down.
There's a goddamn fucking reason why Marvel Comics doesn't do that shit, or at the very least not permanently. It's the same one that made the Ben Reily / Peter Parker clone saga such a fucking mess.
The MCU is due for a box-office collapse of biblical proportions caused by a perfect storm of oversaturation and a removal of all of their best selling characters from the franchise.
Especially since they just lost Spiderman again.

The best part about that film was Michael Keaton as the Vulture. Who I just couldn't help rooting for in places.
I wonder if his character ever worked out that the reason that he's in jail now is because his crew has gotten so fucking complacent that they're actually selling their alien derived super-tech literally down the road, under the bridge, from where he fucking lives.
I know this isn't Gotham where it's only successful industry was the Abandoned Warehouse Factory (now, ironically, abandoned) but jesus fucking christ don't sell man-portable death-lasers from underneath a fucking underpass. Have some goddamn class.

I have some actual problems with how neither Tony or Hogan have any repurcussions over how goddamn impreofessionally they treated Pete, given that he's almost certainly the original test-case for how the "Superhuman Registration Act" was supposed to work. But Tony basically delegates him off to Hogan so he can do literally anything but his actual job, whilst Hogan blanks him for months and does nothing but forward his texts to Tony. No communication, no support, no liasons, nothing.

Getting back to the Vulture though, it did sort of make me want a REAL crime film or series set in the MCU, their version of Superior Foes I guess? It'd probably be the only way they could do the Scourge of the Underworld storyline.

Can someone explain to me how the fuck superman flies in this movie? In the movie they present it as earth having a much weaker gravitational pull, so superman can leap great distances.... But then he just starts fucking flying and completely ignores the rules of physics. How?

Had to be a MCU retard. You people are the lowest common denominator of the moviegoers, even worse than ladies with multiple small kids, and niggers.

Days of future past came before, and licensed music in movies exists since forever.

>duhh because the stories make money that means they have no inherent cultural, societal or personal value
Fuck off.
>>3001055
>It's about showcasing superheroes as if they were real people.
They were never made to be real people.
Superheroes, heroes of legend, demigods, etc. were all meant to encapsulate certain aspects and virtues of a culture and embody them. You deconstruct the hero, you deconstruct everything that the culture that created the hero actually holds dear. It's visceral degeneration and it shouldn't be celebrated in any way. It's not art, and it isn't interesting beyond being grotesque.

>Tony or Hogan have any repurcussions over how goddamn impreofessionally they treated Pete
>I wonder if his character ever worked out that the reason that he's in jail now is because his crew has gotten so fucking complacent
That was the point of the story, retard.
They underestimated him and ghosted him constantly because of their arrogance, and realized 'oh, ok, we need to take him seriously' once all the events of the movie transpire.
It's not like they didn't have good reason, considering he's like 15 and Tony very specifically didn't want him punching above his paygrade for his own safety, but Tony is obviously a flawed character and it shows. That's why he was the most popular character in the mcu and now the whole behemoth will come crashing down without him.
As for Vulture, he murdered the people in his crew that were doing dumb shit on the side like selling weapons out of a van

I really wish this moment affected me in the movie but the effect felt cheap in such a bloated movie. It should have been built up and then lead to a more effective outcome other than 30 seconds of a 30 minute action scene.

A lot of his powers don't really make sense. Like how is he able to lift huge, insanely heavy objects (like a plane) without that object just breaking or crumbling around them, which is what happens in irl when you put a ton of force around one really small part of of an object? That scene in Superman Returns where he safely lowers the plane onto a baseball field should have looked more like the one from The Boys where he realizes there's nothing he can do and everybody is fucked.

I'm not going to say they make actual sense, but they make more sense in universe if they're explained as psychic rather than physical powers. If he has a very specific form of telekinesis, the sort where you can only affect things you're touching (so why would it still be "tele"kinesis? I dunno, just go with it) then it makes sense that the things he lifts don't crumble because he's actually lifting them with his mind and not his muscles. His flight is just him lifting himself with his telekinesis. His invulnerability is a telekinetic shield. Etc.

normal sea-level atmosphere contains 21% oxygen. The device claims to remove "all the oxygen in the room". Bodily coordination begins to deteriorate at 19%-15%. With the depletion of oxygen to a mix of only 10 percent to 12 percent, respiration increases, lips turn blue and judgment is impaired. 8% Unconsciousness occurs. At 5 min remaining Batman is dead unless he has a o2 tank in his belt. If he makes it somehow to the end and manages to detonate the box he is then killed by the extreme change in atmospheric pressure difference. Hell unless his batsuit also doubles as a pressure suit like the ones pilots use hes dead from the total vacuum thats currently in the safe https://www.cnet.com/news/what-happens-to-the-unprotected-human-body-in-space/ or the fact that the vault is strong enough to contain a vacuum of that size without critical structural failure.

tldr: batman had no chance in this scenario.

I mean, he could have just put the box on its side and use the reel of tape to tip it over from a distance instead of rigging an elaborate pulley system, which would have saved some time. Or, if the explosives aren't that sensitive, just fucking throw them at the door.

They also fucked up on the fire rate/distance between bullets in flight. Miniguns are fast as fuck, firing 60 to 100 rounds per second on average, but if you slowed that down, the first bullet would hit the target before the second one left the barrel at that range.

Oh, and there's the fact that you wouldn't be able to see anything if you froze time, and also gravity wouldn't be able to affect you.
