>>2857938The source video comes from this guy and involves something I don't really understand.http://harrischris.com/article/biophillic-vision-experiment-1Uses some sort of neural network to autodetect cars (just like solving captchas) and then uses another network to try and content-aware fill those areas, apparently. On my end I just used a displacement map of a fractal noise along with colorama to fuck up the colors of the glitched areas on a [wsg] layer, then overlayed it onto the cars using 3D camera tracking in AE.
>>2857623really nice visuals and music. a little sad it ended so quickly tho

>>2860749Lol, I can't take credit for this. I'm a just filthy reposter. That was an older bump, but I'll be honest, I never heard the original song before til now. Its pretty good! I always thought there was only this https://youtu.be/mB8iSHHvaow
id like to get into this, but my problem is that i can only do still images, as im not that good at editing. (for example; i was thinking about doing something with this image: https://i.4cdn.org/n/1558561679790.jpg but i dont know if still images are really acceptable.)
>>2861671We used to have plenty of still image bumps. People bitch about them, but who cares what they say? Just make some bumps dude. Try using hitfilm, resolve, or filmora. They're all free as far as I know. And there are very easy ways to rip songs off of youtube or spotify.
>>2861679thanks. ive always loved the stuff posted here and ive always thought airplanes were really comfy for some reason. so i figured i should start out by doing something i think is comfy and seeing how people react.

>>2866751If you know how to, a way to solve that issue of the "still image" you were worried about is to edit out the window and add footage of a moving sky behind it
So I made this thing a long time ago, the only wsg edit I ever made. Not looking to explain anything, I'm too sick and tired of the context.I simply want anons to know that nothing here matters, what matters is what you are doing outside of your screen. 4chan has always been a home for me, a place to stay during hard times but its false, it's not true. Have a wonderful evening.
>>2867100At least you have good taste in music.
>>2866369That'd be really awesome, I do want to eventually know the best way to represent tape damage artificially however possible but if you could do that I'd love it
>>2867424A really really slight Chromatic Aberration goes a long way to make something look more VHSy, along with a bit of blurring to sell the standard definition. I haven't really tried to do the tracking issues, but displacement maps and turbulent noise helps.
>>2866841i havent gotten that far yet, but ill try and experiment with that. will keep you posted.
>>2866837i do. images like that are a very specific aesthetic for me.
>>2866387Thanks it was my first attempt at a webm. It was supposed to have a different opening and more movements synced to the audio but the pitch shift plug in in Vegas actually stretches out an audio file without showing that on the track panel so I only realized this when I rendered. Said fuck it and made due.If anyone is using Vegas and decides they want to lower the music pitch to give it a more trippy/chill vibe, either render the pitched audio on it's own and then re-add it to your project, or select the Preserve Duration button.
>>2867444This is totally absurd and I love it

Long time listener, first time caller. Not too happy with how this came out but Resolve kept crashing and I just wanted to get it finished. The drop isn't timed well and I'd have cut out the flossing if I wasn't so frustrated.
>>2874162Not bad! Some constructive criticism though, the high resolution murders the video quality. It can be tricky to work around the 4mb limit. If you're using webm for bakas, it should let you try set the resolution to something smaller. You can also mess around with the bitrate and turn on double pass to increase quality if you haven't done that. Keep on creating though!
>>2826935is anon who posted this the creator? did you film this clip or find it somewhere?
>>2874254Yeah I realised the resolution was fucked as soon as I posted it and started looking at the others in the thread lol. I'll keep the bitrate and double pass in mind though. There's a good chance I'll be in front of my PC till 4am again so I'll probably be making another bump some time today.
>>2875442Alright I fixed the resolution (I hope)

>>2878841>kek! is that new OC?OC, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. It was a huge pain in the ass though because Vegas will constantly crash if you try to simultaneously run 3 or more chroma keyed videos. My printer is a CR-10S if anyone is wondering.
>>2869936lmao, that's great
>>28800609600Baud is reference to really old modems. The song is a mishmash of multiple songs and edited them around. Not sure where else to ask, since this seems like the most video-edit-y thread on /wsg/; but in short what is the consensus on the better/best opensauce video editing software? To be quite honest, up until now I've been using
webm4retards
as my go to tool for gondolae and porn since it's stupidly quick, streamlined and doesn't have and faff around it.I'm not looking to make a full length movie with 4k ultra afterFX, I only really just need basic video clip chaining, audio dub, (maybe adjustable/timed picture overlays if I feel like training in technomancy) and a no-nonsense way to save the tine; anything else is just a bonus. I'm working with a laptop here, not a megarig; so nothing that'll crash the poor thing is probably more important (for example from my scrawl online, I kept on seeing blender was opensauce and had a good video editor; but I don't think I could run it in a million years due to the /3/ aspect of it)Regards in advance.
>>2893726The only opensauce editors I've used are kdenlive and blender. Kdenlive aims to be fully featured video editor, but was quite buggy in my experience. I've heard they've fixed a lot of bugs in the recent version, but haven't tried it myself. It's probably fine if all you are doing is clip chaining and audio dubbing. Blender's video editor (VSE) is a little unintuitive at first, but you can do pretty much anything in it. I've only had it crash a couple of times and have run on it on a laptop (8GB of ram) before without any issues. Blender will come with all the 3d modelling stuff installed, but you can use the VSE without any of it if that's what you were concerned about. It also doesn't output to webm on the version (2.7) I used, so I just rendered to a lossless format and converted it later with ffmpeg. Both of them probably do a bit more than what you want, but they're the only ones I've used.
Anyone know the sauce of the speech in this one?
>>2893881I'm only working with 4GB RAM [TN: Roughly 3.5 usable], but thanks for the heads up anyways. Are there any that you've heard of being good, but just never got around to trying?
