To what >>2127780 said, I did a standard minimal install of Ubuntu then installed openbox and tint2 for the panel (start bar looking thing). If you wanna stay on Windows, you don't really have a lot of options. You can customize the taskbar with Classic Shell without really needing any experience, I'd recommend starting there. Rainmeter is also good. If you wanna dive into something more complex, try out BlackBox Zero for Windows. Realistically, though, you'll only get a few things looking good and the rest of your applications will totally break the overall look and feel. If you want consistency in your theme, move to Linux. I dual boot Ubuntu and Windows 8. Win8 on my main hard drive, Ubuntu on a salvage from an old laptop.

Old rice since my current one broke. I think I'm gonna finally switch to linux. Windows just has too much bloat and customization isn't the easiest. >>2130392Best one so far, I usually don't respond to tripfags but good job
>>2126764switched from shitty windows 10 to ubuntu today just so I could get my desktop to look like this. I'm seeing a couple of sites for themes but none of the ones called Creamy look like how your file manager looks. Would it be possible to get some advice for getting my desktop to look like that?
>>2130608https://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Creamy?content=69315that was a quick search for creamy gtk2.please search yourself the next time.for 4chan he uses 4chanx+oneechanand icon flat papyrus, the rest is basically written out on his desktop
>>2130194https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts/3395650where I found it at least
>>2130639I found that theme but was worried at first since it didn't look like theirs. I was struggling for quite a while trying to apply everything when I found that I was using xfce, so gnome things weren't going to work. Whoops. Still working on how to apply their zsh file, but I'm sure I'll get it eventually. Thanks, anon.
i play too much vidya to switch to linux, please dont beat me too harshly
i like vidya, please dont beat me up
>>2131034MY INTERNET WAS BEING GAY SO I ACCIDENTALLY UPLOADED TWICE FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
>>2131033>>2131034i think it looks great. i like all the matching transparency/blur. and the colors scheme in your fetch looks comfy. you should see if u can fix the spacing in your fetch, some spaces arent loading.
>>2131033Stop playing video games then. The only ones worth playing work with wine anyway.
>>2131105>The only ones worth playing work with retroarch anyway.FTFY
>>2131106Chinese videogames don't work with that.
>>2131047it took 18 years of trail and error, but i think i did it
>>2131127Nice, anon. The new font is much better looking.
>>2131127Howd u hide the titlebar?
>>2131146im using cmder, and it has an option underneath General -> Appearance to turn it off. it makes it mega comfy :)
>>2131144i appreciate you, anon. i hope you have a great day :)
Just have fished installing KDE, so, it still needs some changes
>>2130986>zsh filejust use bash man, or fish if you are new to linux.booth of them have an oh-my-'' fork and are in their own regards better than zsh imo>>2131127that's really nice for windows anonwould you share that pape?
>>2131183im using wallpaper engine, so here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1691094303i looked around for like 20 mins and couldnt find the static pape, sorry anon

>>2131202>calibre was made by a streetshitter it's still the best option for to convert and manage ebooks>firefox is maintained by tranniesit's still the most open source internet browser, at least the best basis of it>Bash was made by a negroit's still the most minimal Shell>GNU is founded by a kike it's still the least kiked OS out there
>>2131244>bash>the most minimal ShellAre you legitimately delusional?
>>2131247no i simply just woke up, i obviously meant the most minimal USABLE shell
>>2131244Kikes and streetshiters are definitely more human than black "people", they make better software too. Also, Firefox is garbage, use qutebrowser.
>>2131248>made by a person of a certain race>usableAre you legitimately delusional?
>>2131249>qutebrowserhave fun with your non existing add-ons and unfiltered botnet>Firefox is garbageyes, it is. but IceCat and Palemoon aren't >>2131251no, but i use bash daily and have absolutely no fucking problem with it.and point me to one Shell in this thread that isn't bash and also isn't ZSH installed on an generic i3 rice by a person that obviously uses ZSH because >it looks cool
>>2131252>non existing add-onsI don't need any add-ons since I don't visit garbage gaming websites. Maybe you should try to stop playing video games too.>IceCat and Palemoon aren'tThey still can't pipe basic stuff like video/image links or text prompts from the browser to external programs (which makes them instant garbage).
>>2131252>and point me to one Shell in this threadHow is something being featured in a shitty desktop thread full of generic desktops an indicator of ``usability''?
>>2131254oh it just was an very basic example, it's no scientific example or anything but at least it's something. you just stated that the dude first programming it was a negro and that's it.not even sure against what i am arguing>>2131253>I don't visit garbage gaming websitesi don't either but we are here, on this image board which gives your data right at this moment to google and what not else.don't get me wrong, qutebrowser is neat but i would always prefer an lightweight fork of firefox over it.if you want minimalism and individuality check out Surf if you haven't already.

still a winshitter. wanna get into some form of unix. wheres a good starting point?

>>2131379GIY: the movie
>>2131442this looks awesome for windows anon, maybe fuck a bit with your userChrome, hide that scrollbar or modify it.>wheres a good starting point?depends on what you are aiming for, most people start with a buntu, so lubuntu, xubuntu, mint or ubuntu. but you can also go straight into Debian, it's the bases for buntu and less bloated.i assume you already have some experience with dotfiles (looking at your rice) so a basic install of debian where you can test out different WM's and learn a bit about the terminal and shit like that. >>70752582 is nice if you have any questions
Does a CSS to darken every page on Firefox (latest ver) exist or should I just give up and downgrade to 55? I can't find shit on Github, userstyles is terrible and Twily's hasn't been updated since 55.
>>2131514>55Don't know what you're talking about
>>2131514switch to palemoon, it feels so much less like fighting against the browser you are using and it's much more lightweight.
>>2131483cheers anon, i added to your idea of removing the scrollbar and hid all the toolbars on firefox too, but got it so they reappear on mouse hover to keep it a bit more functional. im actually really happy with the outcome.
>>2131541Looks great anon! What did you use for the hover thing? Could you share the code you used especially for that?
>>2131541>>2131515How do you get rid of bolded names on 4chan? I don't see the option in the 4chanx settings
>>2131883I have that too, I don't see the option in either. Do I need to add a custom CSS to do it? If so does anyone have an example I could use
>>2131886Inspect element. Then copy rule to advanced css (whatever its called) and switch font weight to normal.
>>2131887Thanks so much anon! That did it!
