I was able to play through REmake 2 easily even on hardcore, but for some reason this game refuses to let me progress. The amount of crimson heads, the amount of one shot kills from hunters and the sharks and the bullet sponge bosses ruin me.
What am I doing wrong?

run more shoot less

Being a casual zoomer, who thinks that the easy as fuck DEmake2 would've been somehow "hard" at any point.

>the amount of crimson heads
oh, you're also being an idiot.
>>
unless you're going for speedrun, burn the zombies
last thing you'll want is crimsom fuckers roaming around while you explore

Unironically, the best way to play RE1 is to not kill any enemies unless you absolutely have to kill them.
>>
>>450474048
How can someone be more shit at vidya than my wife? Has the 8th generation rotten people's brains?
>>
Only kill who you absolutely have to, and either burn their body or kill them with a headshot

What's a good way of learning how to dodge them? In RE2 you can shoot at their head or legs once and run past safetly, but that's not a thing here obviously

Is Remake 2 on hardcore that easy?
I'm doing Claire A next, I guess I'll try hardcore
>>
>>450474048
Lol, that game is easy as fuck
>>
>>450475392
how the hell did you take that long on claire 2nd run

I got 5 hours 10 minutes and that felt too long
>>
>>450475303
walk slowly towards them, then walk backwards as soon as they initiate the lunge, then just run past them. Assuming you're playing with tank controls as you should.
>>
>>450475676
I only walk because it's more spooky. I also kill everyone

you have to think like a boomer and lose your zoomer mental disease.

zoomer mind: unload ammo on everything and wait for the game to tell you which marker to go to next.

boomer mind: anything can kill you at any moment and secrets are hidden everywhere, even in front of your very eyes, so you better not forget or take anything for granted

UK's would looks better but the shit at the bottom ruins it. They need to start putting logos on just the back for covers like that.

whats the hardest resident evil game? Is it zero?
>>
>>450477641
Probably Zero or CV.
>>
>>450475303
Stand totally still until they lunge, they'll stop just short of you. Run past the fuckers while they're recovering.
Also, if you get grabbed mash your d-pad/movement keys/jiggle control stick to escape with less damage taken.
>>
>>450474048
playing this right now. Why the actual FUCK can you not skip the door animations.

So that when you open a specific door and the animation changes to have a zombie come shambling through it can scare the shit out of you
>>

Git gud. Map knowledge is important, if it is your first time playing you should expect to die a few times.

If you can dodge enemies do it, don't bother kiliing them. Use shotgun on hunters, don't waste shotgun ammo on zombies unless they are in a group.
>>
>>450480825
Also don't shoot dogs, you can easily dodge them all.
>>
>>450475303
Circle round them as they lift up their arms to grab you.

Map knowledge, Plan out which rooms you'll be going through he most and burn or head shot the zombies in that path.
REmake 1 is easier once you figure out what needs to stay down. Also learn to use a shotgun, aim up, and wait till they're as close as possible.
Shotgun Hunter. I don't know how you're having trouble with sharks. Run away from them, don't shoot at them.
If you're struggling, play Jill, her flame rounds help a lot.

Claire B should be played after Leon A, not Claire A. Claire starts in a different place and you get to fight the true final boss.
>>
>>450478184
why? is it easier to screw yourself over with a bad move?
>>
Im having a fairly bad time in hardcore RE2make.
I can shoot a zombie 4 times in the head and he will not stagger, and one grab drops me to critical health from fine.
is this fuckin normal? Seems a little excessive to me.
>>
>>450483232
You're not waiting for the cursor to settle into the tiny dot, are you?
>>
>>450483612
Does that make your shots more forceful? Or are you implying im missing? Im not.

>It's so the game can load all the pre-rendered backgrounds of the various camera angles in the upcoming room you are about to enter. It also serves as a definite boundary between rooms to separate hazards (the monsters you are escaping from to the mysterious unknown you're going into). Shifts in music and tone from room to room. It's a great aesthetic, you should shut up.
