looking at his neighbor getting nude in her bedroom through his window.

>>117920392
It was the last decade where you could safely assume that more than 90% of the people listening spoke english and not spanish/arabic

his live work is true and pure, meeting the
accomplishment that anything done during the 80s achieved

There's not enough saxophone in today's music.
>>
>>117922000
Lots of artists try to bring it back but the fucking beaners won't have it
>>
>>117922000
i'd go a step further and say there's not enough big band sound, and brass in general, in today's music.
>>
>>117922115

this is a fair point, and, paradoxically, the mexicans actually do a better job of maintaining parts of forgotten western culture than we do. it's quite a big world.
>>
>>117922271
have you ever listened to mexican music?
even the rap has tons of horns in it
the only people that don't like horns are hillbillies
>>
>>117922394
By that logic, Ska and Smooth Jazz are the same genre

Good times...

Further memories:
It was the birthday of one of the guys in the band
I think it was the saxophonist
The opening act was INXS
That was way before they got huge with the album Kick
The album they were promoting was Shabooh Shoobah
But Men at Work was the main attraction and they played all the hits and semi-hits
It was definitely a great concert
I saw it with a group of friends that I used to go to Sunday brunch with at that time

Cynicism hadn't quite set in to the current levels. People just wanted to be genuine and have a good time before nuclear war. Right now, everyone is isolated in a bubble hearing what they want to hear. They have to protect their ego and their image. Life has been too good for too long and most haven't had the kinds of hardship necessary to want to make the world a better place.

I don't think plagiarism should count if what you make is objectively better than what you "stole" from.
