I wish I could forget this piece of trash.
>>
The first Twilight is so comfy. It's really sad how shit are the other movies.
>>
>>108413208
i stopped at the one where they were in a college. probably should've stopped at the first one
>>
>>108413250
I think all of the first 3 are rather comfy but the first one can't be topped. I think its the atmosphere or setting.
>>
>>108413250
the piano scene where hes playing Bella’s Lullaby is just top tier cinema, and the whole foggy/rainy feel of the whole film

it's fucking insane how huge these movies were around the time of new moon and eclipse. i went to grab lunch one day in 2010 and there was this massive line stretching into the distance outside my workplace. turns out that the pattnison, stewart and the other guy were having a press conference in the goddamn arena next door. this shit was unescapable for a while

what is equally amazing is how quickly public interest fizzled out. breaking dawn 2 was definitely not as hotly anticipated as the previous installments, and more mocked than appreciated upon release. and nobody talks about twilight today!

this series is going to be an interesting entry when the pop culture trends and phenomena of the 2010s are assessed next year. anyway, good on the two main stars for cashing in early and getting to do whatever they want for the rest of their lives

I don't know what that means but I'm in Ireland. Wanna meet up for a fuck and suck chuck?

People criticize the series, but there is a heart in the first film and you can feel it even beneath the low budget. The atmosphere, the settings, the soundtrack, casting, everything is so good. Even Bella's drunk face is there for a reason since Edward's presence is a drug.
Sad how it started the fad that is killing cinema, but Twilight had more deepness and quality than Capeshit Sequel: Origins 3 - The Retcon.

Eh, I'd say Twilight did more than alright with it's time in the sun and the franchise has been retired in pretty respectable manner instead of being sucked dry like Star Wars or Harry Potter.

Also, anyone remember this? The kid/teenager fantasy boom of the 2000s produced a lot of trash but was pretty comfy.

holy shit
>>
>>108415047
Those movies were shit, but I'm glad Bradley Cooper has a career, he's alright. Zack Galifanakis can go to hell.
>>
mcu next year
>>
>>108415619
the cardinal sin of the hangover franchise is that it made that irritating chinaman and his catchphrases endlessly popular for the remainder of the decade
>>
Creepshow, jeepers creepers, the rescuers, an American tail, american pie, takes from the crypt, species, return of the living dead, paranormal activity
>>
>>108411538
Listening people rip-off on Twilight series on Youtube is one of my favorite pastime activities nowadays
>>
>>108415047
Hangover would be considered a classic if they hadn't made those awful sequels.
>>
>>108416071
fucking seriously. why does every fucking shit need be a trilogy?
>>
>>108416133
> first movie usually pretty good
>second movie is below expectations and you're a little salty
>third you've already invested they have your money
>>
>>108416419
I'm not the anon you're replying.
The second movie was so meh that I decided to not watch the third. Same with Star Wars.

Stephenie Meyer tried to created another Twilight trilogy (vampires and all that) but the book was so shit that never turned into a movie.

Atrocious bastardization of the source material, deservedly forgotten much like pic related
>>
>>108414890
Was this supposed to be impressive? Cringy dialogue and shitty effects all over. Nothing special about camerawork either
>>
>>108416739
The setting is good and the music is cool too. But I agree, the rest is shit.
>>
I don't understand why this (and its *spin-offs*) gets so much credit
>>

paramore on the soundtrack is kino
>>

they should've stopped with the first one, it was kino

>let's try to make a billion-dollar film franchise out of universal classic masters

Honestly what the fuck were they thinking? After the Sony leaks I'm convinced that film studio executives are either idiots or day drunk 24/7
>>
>>108413250
The later ones become more boring even if they’re kind of funny, but first twilight is unironically kino
>>
>>108417247
It had potential but instead of making the mummy a good movie that would inspire people to want to see sequels, they made it an awful film dedicated to setting up a franchise that will now never be made
>>
>>108417400
Never saw the movie, was it really that bad?
>>
Underworld
>>
>>108417661

How much do you like Sofia Boutella? She's great, everything else about the movie is ass. Written by Kurtzman who as always turns in a terrible piece of hack work, Cruise is miscast and looks half mummified himself.
