Have you ever smuggled anything through airport security? Were you shitting brix?
>>
I took my Stiizy with me last time i went with mexico. I just followed the rules regarding having batteries in your carry on i think?
had no issues, wasnt really too worried about it desu seeing as how i can just tell them its an e cig
>>
>>1651206
I smuggled Iberian ham back through US customs. Wasn’t too concerned knowing the worst they’d do is confiscate it and fine me
>>
Not intentionally. But I've forgotten to remove items that weren't allowed a few times.
The funniest part was that 4 out of 4 times I've flown out of the US who are notorious for their strict airport security, I was flagged for further inspection by the X-ray guy, but every single time they failed to find the illegal item in my carryon luggage. Which was usually a hunting knife, screwdriver or some other shit I forgot in the bottom of my backpack.

When I flew out of New York once, a female TSA agent found a half-full non-transparent bottle of sunscreen and an opened bottle of water in my backpack, said "you're not supposed to have this", then she put the bottles back and told me I was good to go. When I got home I noticed that I had another 3 small bottles of various liquids down there.

No, but I've carried various odd looking items that sometimes get my bags an extra search, and sometimes do not.
>>
Had a bowl full of burnt weed in my carry on that I forgot about. The guy that searches my bag just looked at me, raised his eyebrows, and threw it in the garbage.

Phew
>>
brought a cap gun revolver into the US, whilst on holiday.
fortunately it was pre- 911 so the security just laughed.
>>
>>1651206
I used to do it a lot with weed, but only on domestic flights. Never had any close calls but I remember security sometimes looking at me very suspiciously, and my paranoid mind imagined me going through hidden ion scanners or something. This was back in the days before security had full body scanners. What I'd do is take a few grams of weed, grind it up super fine, then compress it right down into a tiny little bulb, wrap it a few more times, and tape it under my scrotum or ballsack. (Getting it off would sometimes be a bit painful.) I guessed that if I walked by a drug dog, unless they did a strip search and had me bend over, I could wait out any kind of dry cell.

Nowadays I just bend the rules as far as the next honest taxpayer would. I might fly with some emergency viagra and valium and xanax in my toiletries bag, but I also carry my Bangkok-mall-walk-in-medical-clinic prescription papers.
>>
I sometimes take a blister of valium in my toiletries bag

I don't think they care at all about medication unless you're carrying 500 pills or something
>>
forgot i had a lighter in my carry on backpack on my most recent trip. Security missed it both on the way out of the country I was visiting and at the xray when i arrived back in the US. I found it a couple days after I got back, realized it was from this recent trip, and lost what little faith I had in TSA.

I've also been in the line for security wearing a jacket I had taken shooting and realized that I had a couple shotgun shells, both live and spent, still in my pockets, which i immediately discreetly disposed of in the water bottle bins they put up for you in the line into security.
>>
>>1651238
Viagra is not illegal to carry right?
>>
>>1651267
Some (maybe most) countries have import and possession restrictions on it. A prescription is usually enough to satisfy them. Worst case, they toss it in the garbage.

(Don't take the above as gospel if you visit a Muslim country. Do your own research.)
>>
i accidentally brought a butterfly knife with me through like 5 airports in my carry on. I was flying international too. I noticed it when I unpacked my bag when I got home.

I also brought LSD to a bunch of countries in south america. I ended up not using it so I had it with me on the way home too. But it was only one tab and it was also in my checked luggage. I got randomly searched in the Colombia airport and I was terrified.

My friend brought an weed oil pen with him on our way to Israel. We were smoking it inside of the airport

My dad accidentally took melatonin he bought in Prague into Germany. Customs stopped us on the train but didn't search us.

Brought an entire box of 800mg ibuprofen from Europe into the US without a prescription

Also had some swiss knives and camping lighters in my carry on and no one cared but they threw out my $40 half used 110ml bottle of conditioner

I have carried ammunition onto a plane a few times. Had a couple shotgun slugs mixed in with the rest of my junk. Then again I'm in Alaska and I don't think the TSA really cares.

>My dad accidentally took melatonin he bought in Prague into Germany
Is melatonin illegal or only available by prescription in parts of Europe? It's OTC in the US.
>>
I bought my girlfriend some possum wool from new Zealand and it was a fucking bitch and a half to get it across Canadian customs. They only had one guy doing all the declarations and my flight came in at the same time as 2 others from China.

Considering just not saying anything next time.
>>
>>1651495
I believe in most countries melatonin is prescription. At least when I tried to get some in Northern Europe that's what they told me.

I took sweet potatoes into the USA from japan

WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU BRINGING A HUNTING KNIFE TO AN AIRPLANE ANON?
>>
I brought weed to Japan many years ago. Strapped it to my balls. The key is not to be nervous or it's a dead giveaway. I just went through like I own the place and everything went fine. Smoked blunts walking through Akiba which in hindsight was retarded and I'll never do it again, but it makes for an interesting story.
>>
>>1651206
i once lived in California for a while, where weed is legal, i brought a green empty small ( you can barely put your pinky in there) marijuana container on my carry on backpack, it still smells strongly of weed even after 5 months of it just sitting on my shelf.
Also i left my luggage open in the living room for a few days while prepping my things to the airport, but having roommates that smoked weed in the house that often is not a good thing, i reached my home contry where weed is illegal and found a big transparent weed container that i had no put in my luggage.
It made quite anxious after my arrivel, but what is done is done and everything is good now.
>>
>>1651206
100% depends on the airport. High end American airports have extra security, Seattle airport has dogs that sniff you before you get to tsa
>>
>>1651862
you know how much weed is illegal in Japan, right?
>>
>>1651206
Probably like 3 out of 4 things I take through China violate some law or rule. There are so many bullshit rules in china it's not worth me even thinking about

I also forgot those mineral water bottles in my carry on, I'm just too sleepy to pack properly the night before the trip.
>>
Just hardcore loli hentai but I think that's pretty common
>>
Can you take spices on a plane?
>>
I flew into Christchurch a week after the attack with the video on my laptop, does that count?

Luxury watches for a friend who brought them in HK (for his own use).
And the Rolex I had myself brand new, funny thing is that was the only time customs checked my suitcase, fortunately I had shipped the box by courier.
>>
>>1652463
I brought a fake Hermes handbag from China back to Europe. It can be risky because if caught you might get a huge fine.
>>
Accidentally left a knife and edibles in carry-on stash pocket and made it through ATL TSA. On the flight back they spotted it and stopped me. Shat bricks but they didn't care about the candy. They wanted an address they could send the knife to, but I just let them throw it out.

I proceeded to have several drinks at the bar to relax.
>>
smuggled 10 carts of DUDE WEED LMAO oil.
its honestly easier to just mail that shit back to yourself.
>>
I passed those tenga brand fleshlights through customs when I flew from tokyo to new york but I still don't know wether or not sex toys are allowed to carry through the airport security, thing is they sorta look like the B-word and I was really paranoid I was gonna get detained and asked about them.
>>
Not on purpose, but I brought a pre-rolled blunt and a concentrate cartridge back to Texas from California.

Even crazier, I accidentally left a 100-count string of firecrackers in my carry on going the other way. The TSA dude did the gunpowder residue swab on my hands for some reason but didn't confiscate them.
>>
Guy I know is a furry and just finished a 6 month trip to Japan.
He had a bottle of home-made sake someone gave him that had a dead snake in it.
Airport security at the DESTINATION sees something weird on his customs card, pulls him aside, x-rays his luggage and interviews him for 15min over a stuffed toy fox he has in his luggage. turns out it has a wire frame that looked suspicious on the x-ray.
the airport security staff completely missed the snake skeleton on the x-ray, he mentioned it to be on the safe side.
they sort of panicked, talked about shit for a bit and then realised that it's fine. just warned him that next time he brings alcohol in to make sure it's at least got a label and that the bottle's sealed better.
even Australian customs can be pretty chill, just dont be that chinese lady that tries to bring in 40kg of rotting fish.

>>1652580
they dont give a shit about sex toys, they see that shit all the time.
i was on a flight recently and the guy behind me in security had a fucking penis pump on his x-ray. the staff didn't so much as raise an eyebrow.
when i worked in hotels we'd occasionally get some chick leave sex toys out when we'd go in to clean the room. one woman had a fucking mountain of them.
>>
>>1651780
my bolivian friend had visit from his grandmother and she broughts a fat bunch of leafes. he said "she just took it in her hoodie pocket" but as far as i know its not illegal is it really? its just plant
(to switzerland)
>>
>>1651206
Yeah. I was allowed to take a Swiss army knife with me. It was confiscated on my flight back though, sadly enough.
>>
I routinely brought small amounts (>$100 bags) of blow to/from Vegas for years in an Altoids tin and never had so much as a raised eyebrow. The TSA doesn't give a fuck about small amounts of party drugs and the dogs aren't sniffing for them.
>>
>>1652622
>Don't be that Asian lady who brings in 40kg of fish

Why do they do it. Every fucking episode these fucking chinks bring this shit in
>>
ive flown everywhere domestically with a vape pen, but if watching those docu dramas about customs officers have shown me anything its.

Accidentally carried a full flask of whiskey from NZ to the US without realizing it was in there. Which is a shame because it would of been nice on the flight
>>
I've taken MDMA and some pills to Poland before and some coke to Berlin.

They are literally not looking for personal amounts of drugs and will not find them, you just have to hide them semi well.
>>
>>1653171
Small quantities of hash and weed, and only in domestic flights inside Spain. Looking back on it it was stupid and even though the possibility of getting caught was really small it was definetly not worth the stress.
This guy >>1653171 is dead on in my experience
>>
>>1651456
In the US
the large doses like 800mg are prescription but you can easily buy like a bottle of like 500 200mg pills for cheap at the store
Pretty sure the higher dosage ones require prescription to reduce liver damage caused by retards taking more than prescribed

>>
>>1651206
I use double edged razors to shave and always keep a few in my toiletry bag. I don't often check a bag so it's in my carry on bag most flights. It's been through security in two dozen US cities as well as Germany, Mexico, Ukraine, etc. and was never mentioned. In Munich they almost caught it because they saw the safety razor on the X-Ray but when they looked at it and saw it was empty they let me through . They never noticed all the loose blades wrapped in paper in the side pocket. I just disassemble the safety razor handle now to avoid that.
>>
>>1651489
you fucking retard anon
honestly, I feel bad for guys who end up on death row, but they must be real fucking idiots so maybe it's natural selection
>>
Never smuggled anything, but had an odd experience last time I flew. On my way back to PA from Orlando, my dick lit up on the tube x-ray/scanner machine. TSA agent frisked me, still wasn't satisfied and took me over and did a drug swab on my hands. Still not sure why that happened, but it was rather bizarre.
>>
>>1652986
i dunno man. I'm an Aussie expat that only just recently got back to Australia. It's one of the only 2 good shows on TV but even then I have to be in a certain mood to enjoy it.
Fucking every damn time on Border Security it's either
>middle-aged Asian family that "doesnt know" that they cant bring in 40kg of fish into Australia
or
>russian/american/SEA hooker being denied entry because invalid visa or sex trafficking.

I mean the chinks with cigarettes I can understand. They hear from a friend in Aus that a pack of cigs is $30? Of course they're gunna buy a few hundred packs at 10c a pack in China and try to bring them over.
But fish?
Do they not fucking see that we're literally completely surrounded by fucking ocean?
Do they not think we have fish or beans or fruit in Australia?
Fuck knows mate, it frustrates me as well watching it because every time it's some fucking Chinese lady thinking we dont have food here or something.
THEN there's the cunts that try to casually carry $100k cash in on them without declaring it.

Good show but I can only endure like 30min or 60min of it a week before my blood fucking starts to boil.
>>
I heard somewhere that people regularly go through airports with LSD, sometimes large amounts because it can't be detected. Only 1 sniffer dog ever in history was trained to detect it and training it to do so was a complete waste of time.
How do people take it through? Just disguise it in a birthday card or in the wallet or something?
>>
>>1653479
>How do people take it through? Just disguise it in a birthday card or in the wallet or something?

Most just put it somewhere random, searches are really never done that big unless you look nervous or coming from a known "grey" country that is known for shit or doing crap like 1 week in Brazil 1 week in Canada back and forth. Most people I knew who brought it when I was abroad had it in some random jean pocket or some book page and totally forgot it.
>>
>>1653479
It's basically
>where are you coming from
>where is your destination
>body language
>whatever has already happened with your luggage
>past travel history
>when your passport is scanned what comes up on screen

Most shit like a small thing they don't care do you know how many people come and go regularly? They give a shit about anything harmful to others before they haggle you up on a small thing of something that would take possibly hours to find if the dogs/xray/etc didn't already get it.

That said, IF you are caught you are going to be royally fucked in all kinds of ways you did not know were possible. You could face not only destination law, homeland law, but also international law punishment depending on what/how severe it was. Needless to say, is it really worth the risk for some LMAO WEED DUDE or a few hour trip somewhere compared to what you could probably get by drinking or locals?
>>
>>1651206
Not airport but I visited the Quirinale palace in Italy (seat of the President of the Republic) and I managed to get a pen knife in to cut my lunch with through security. I think the aluminium foil wrapped sandwiches threw off the machine.
>>
interesting aside, last time I flew out of an american airport, the body scanner must have flagged something on my chest. The guys like are you carrying something on your chest, and I was just wearing a long sleeved plaid shirt buttoned up, "my chest?" I say with a puzzled look. He pulls me aside and starts with the hand wand, i unbutton my shirt, "you mean my tattoo?" big ass chest piece, he says yeah it flagged that. I didnt think they could see markings on the skin, but I guess they can now
