i was kayaking in a bioluminescent bay on a cloudy moonless night with my wife. we watched a rain storm come across the bay moving toward us and eventually over us. it was a downpour- and every drop that hit was setting off the bioluminescents. the chaos of the noise, the light flashing, the fish coming to the surface because of the rain (you can see their glowing outline), it was really one of the most fantastic moments of my life.

I had the same moment, but instead of a wife, i had two whores giving me a blowjob, and instead of bioluminescent, the bay was a brothel in Frankfurt.

New Year's Eve in a small Czech city. Coming from a country with very strict fireworks laws I wasn't prepared for 15 minutes of incessant explosions, flashes and shit flying all around me. A firework even hit me in the leg.
It was way better than any other NYE.

Walking about 3 miles from one small Italian town to another (i had to walk uphill to the town where my hotel was). Haven't seen so many stars in a while. I was drunk, coming out from a bar, and both my friends wanted to hitchhike, I said fuck that and I told one of them that I was going to go walking. Did so, and didn't regret it. lel

I'd have to say mine was the time I hiked to the summit of Mt. Inari in Kyoto. Once you make it past the midway point, the other tourists almost vanish. Making it to the top was definitely a "holy shit" moment, especially since I'm just starting to get back into shape.

My first one was when I first walked out of that corridor that leads you into Talat Rot Fai Srinakarin.

My biggest one was when I first took that train into Hong Kong and saw the scale of the port.

Also just walking around Patagonia in general, though that's not much of a moment.

Staying one in one place under a bridge in Albania - it was kinda restaurant/garden, we stayed in tents and there were cats, chicken roaming around, there were various fruit trees and very good food (though cats playing on tables in kitchen with the fishes did not seem like most hygienic thing), i think they even had hot shower (first in like 5 days). Before going to sleep at night I got nosebleed, usually I just try to stop it using napkins or whatever but that time i just sticked my head out of the tent and let it drip in one place creating little pool of blood. I woke up at morning to loud sounds of chickens. They were actually eating my bloodpool away. Starred in disbelief for a bit and then put some wood over it so they would not eat it so I can sleep some more in peace without sounds of chicken hungry for human blood.

I was in Vanuatu and on a remote island I was invited to present the village chief with some kava during a welcoming ceremony. I have drank kava with some locals earlier in Fiji but in Vanuatu they selected me to be a representative of the small group of us that was visiting the area. It was a genuine welcoming ceremony and not some shitty tourist crap that people pay $100s to see.

should have just rented a bike. Did that literally last week but it's free and the views are honestly better. Already did the same boat ride so I can tell you hiring a motorbike is honestly a better option for the scenery and ability to explore. Ninh Binh in general just feels like exploring a Zelda game or something.
I agree when you are going along and you see the view for the first time, it really is an "okay, this is epic" moment

We were waiting at Amsterdam Central at 7 in the mourning when all of a sudden, this very short man comes running behind this giant of a man and jumps on him, grabs his neck in a choke and brings him down. Then he starts pounding him in the face. All the time I was not sure if this was some sort of drunken madness, a violent joke or if it was a serious attempt at harm. The giant kept trying to protect his face until a rail conductor and police officers came to get this short man off the giant. The giant then stands up. Guy is easily 7' tall, towers over everyone and is almost twice the height of the short man. He says, "I don't know this man, I have no idea who he is", then he adjusts his glasses and straightens his hair and grabs his bag and leaves visibly unharmed but clearly distraught. Short man is escorted away by police without resistance.

The tall guy was probably just some random Dutch guy, they're tall as fuck. Dutch people are also incredibly chill as well so I'm not surprised he didn't do anything about it.

Let me guess, short guy was probably some dipshit North African. Fuckers are ruining the whole continent.

Shooting trees won’t kill them you absolute mong. That is unless an already existing plant disease or parasite is already infesting the area. The tree will simply grow around the holes

Ten mile run at King Rama 9 park outside of Bangkok Thailand with a bunch of kids from a local Muay that gym. Would wake up at 5 30 am and be running at the park by 6, the sun would come up as we were running and it’s the most beautiful place I’ve ever been and moment I’ve ever experienced. After the run we would go back to the gym for morning training. Watching the Thais kick pads in person and spar was so unreal. Pic related

Gun forums tend to disagree with you, you absolute mongoloid. Google it (both parts, does it kill trees, am I a mongoloid?) The holes open up for diseases and parasites. Lead kills 'em. Copper kills 'em.

Drinking beers with a random Italian dude in Catania, he tells us he's connected and tells us lots of mafia stories. We call bullshit, he takes us over to his car and opens the trunk and it's full of guns and ammo.
He gave us his number and said to call him the next day and he'd take us out on his boat. We didn't call him.

I like to shoot pictures with a pro camera while traveling. One of the airbnb's was rented out by a professional vip photographer who flies between capitals so must be high up the pole. I showed him some of my shots and he actually liked them - visibly lighted up over some and begged if he could have them. Actually considering if i should start selling stock images if someone like that considers it good. Considered myself garbage and gave up web design so didn't expect that.

When I slipped into the first Mexican girls vagina I've ever been with. I was about to go in balls deep and she stops me and asked do you have a Trojan. I go no but I promise I'm clean. She then takes my dick without blinking and guided it in. Proceeded to have some of the best sex of my life pulled out and busted and huge load all over her back. She had the thickest most beautiful ass I've ever had still to this day She was moaning like crazy and came during (probably didn't but I don't care). Ended up staying with her in her apartment for 5 days. She cooked for me every day and I genuinely enjoyed going out and spending time with her.

Arriving in Bangkok during first solo trip at 20. Bewildered and confused.

Another trip, keeping night watch on a small sailing ship in the middle of the Atlantic ocean. Talking shit with my best friend feeling like we are kids again. Turning the lanterns off for a few minutes to make the milky way above us even more incredible.

The feeling I had the first time the engine failed on that same trip.
The motor was running to charge the electronics on the ship. I had just finished my watch. In a half-sleeping state I hear that the diesel engine is not getting enough fuel. Shout at my friends to shut the engine off before it goes dry and air gets in the system. No reaction and the engine dies.
Mentally see the worst-case scenario: No battery means no autopilot, positioning system or lanterns. Which means a minimum of one lookout and one helmsman 24 hrs / day. Out of a crew of four. More if we would try to manually keep calculating our position. Sailing analogue would change our destination from Tobago to "somewhere in the Americas." And our arrival date from "probably in 18 more days" to "within a month, probably."

A part of me is disappointed we got the motor running again.

Also snorkeling in bioluminescent algae in Tobago after 26 days at sea...

Or arriving, anchoring and setting foot on dry land again. Buying a beer at the first best place and having a toast. When suddenly one of us sees the ship drifting towards a reef... resulting in the only four white men around running like hell through the most laid-back, lazy Caribbean portside, being stared at by exactly every local. :D
