It's because in Australia, you never know when a tenant is gonna have to skip town because of an alcohol-related incident or a robbery or whatevs. Can't discriminate against the criminals because then you wouldn't have anyone left to rent to. If your tenant gets nobbled, you can find another instead of having to wait a month. So, weekly.

Answer the question

Weekly rent x 52 / 12 = rent per month. Not hard.
>>
>>1504560
what does bi-weekly mean?
>>
>>1504906
It means the week goes both ways in the sack.

You need to zoom out so that Bush and Trump also in frame for that pic.

It's not always, it's often per-month too. Some sites insist on one or the other but it goes both ways.
The "official" conversion is monthly = 4.3 * weekly. It evens out the difference between days per month.

Weekly is arguably superior because of the variable days per month but it's not really a big deal.
Most places I've lived have priced per/week but collected by month. Go figure.
