Got middleman photos of my little beast box grab bag. Looks like I got the cat notebook, Sakura Dio and the Computer Jojo. Probably be looking to trade or give away the extra Sakura and Jojo since I already have them. Don't know if anyone else here secured a bag as well. I'd be willing to trade or pay for the Beastbox notebook specifically.

The bird mold is probably the best all around. It's got great articulation and is pretty sizable for the price, I honestly don't think you can go wrong with it.

The Dios are also pretty good and also the cheapest if you just want to try something out, but there's an updated version coming out so maybe not.
>>
Where can I buy the yellow birds?
>>
>>7597237
It's still in pre-order, wait a bit and you get them
>>
>>7597237
Chinese Tmall/Taobao shop started having it weeks ago, but you need to use a middleman service (there's official ones to some countries) and figure you way around the Chinese.
>>
>>7597237

You can pre-order it on a few websites like BigBadToystore. You can use a middleman service to buy it off the Tmall shop. You can learn how to use Tmall/Taobao without a middleman. Or you can go to ebay and buy one right now.

The main/standard realease for BeastBox series:
BB01-Dio
BB02-GhostDog
BB03-Jojo
BB04-Moma
BB05-Delta
BB06-Rhyden
BB07-Behemoth
BB08-IceQube
BB09-EchoBlaster
BB10-RumbleBeat

Each of these has other variants & limited/special releases.

I wait a long time for the recolors to be revealed before buying a mold, since I'm not big on collecting multiple versions of the same toy. I do keep an eye on this thread though, just in case the color I'd want is a limited exclusive
>>
>>7599263
I dont blame you. theyre great, but theyre also about $30 each for a 3in transformer that turn into useless cubes.
>>
>>7599352
Most Transformers just turn into useless cubes with wheels anyway. I like the uniformity of the cube altmodes, it's interesting seeing them get creative with all the possible transformations they can wring out of a single shape.

Also, $30 is whatever, you gotta expect this kind of stuff when you're supporting smaller companies. The likes of Hasbro and Bandai can afford to charge less because they're making massive runs at once.
>>
>>7599437

I'm a simple man, but I've never regretted any of my Beast Box purchases. I collect a few lines that are a lot more expensive, but brought me far less enjoyment and heaps of disappointment. Its a big part of why I just dived right in and started hunting down every past figure I could get ahold of. The box form is really convenient for storage, display and for creating a uniform aesthetic. Its a design challenge to take a cool animal and translate it into a cube capable robot while bringing some animal specific gimmicks to the table.
>>
>>7600599
This dude gets it! Also, this is so pleasing to look at, fuck. My "cube collection" is only 3 so far. Maybe I should get the containers for my Sakura and Mint Dios as well. What's the best place to score those, guys?

On AmiAmi right now they have a pink and blue storage box with some package damage (but probably no product damage) on discount. Or you can get them pristine. Shipping can be a tiny bit obnoxious from there but almost guaranteed to be shipped safely. Maybe toss in a new figure to make the shipping more worthwhile.

Got my grab bag in. Everything arrived well except for a bit of package damage on the Computer Jojo but thats no big deal to me. I knew the little gun turret on Dio stored away nicely in his box form but it was a welcome surprise that Jojo's new gun stores perfectly inside of his chest in box form so you can store it all together. Really surprised me.

He's totally worth it. Plan to take some pictures of my recent buys here soon. Things have just been nuts with moving. I ended up putting this one in the green/yellow Alien contained and it matches absolutely perfectly. I then put the Alien in an extra blue container I had and it really works in a nice James Cameron's Aliens blue tint kind of way. In the next few days here I'll try and get some decent pictures of that and some close ups of the little Beast Box collector's coin and stuff like that.

Whats driving me nuts right now is trying to figure out if there is some way to get this Ninja Ghost Dog. I think it was released in co-operation with some other company during Wonderfest recently.

I'm really not feeling this design despite being hype as fuck for a spider. Something about it is really plain, the legs don't stand out enough to me, and I don't really get what the deal with the discs are.

That said, the canister on his abdomen looks fucking awesome and has me curious to see what other colorways might look like. Translucent legs sound cool.

>>7656486
This guy is definitely the winner for me. Lots of detail and textures.
>>
>>7660549

Not blown away by the colors either but the spider has a lot of cool looking features. We can usually expect lots of colorways but sometimes they are a bit slow to come out.

Someday Stryker will do a penguin icecube in translucent plastic with some blue to make them look like an actual ice cube. Someday...
