>Clearly this is based off of Pizza Spidey. The head is dead on.
It...isn't dead-on though? Drawing-wise, its just a generic Spidey head, it's all bulbous and rounded and doesn't have the slim profile or chiseled jaw of the Pizza Spidey head. Eyes are shaped wrong too. I'm sure it's based on Pizza Spidey by simple process of elimination, but there are no real visual indicators of t hat in that head.

Whoever drew this is really shit at using their references. Almost all of the joints look fucked up in one way or another, there are missing and changed joints everywhere, and what the fuck is that hood thing? It's funny, you can always tell which artists are actually toy fans based on their understanding of the joints when they do stuff like this. Just like those carded action figure covers they did a while back, with the DCUC-esque joints.

GPS was solved years ago. It had to do with the specific mix of plastics Hasbro was using at the time. IIRC we had one semi-recent resurgence, during the first Transformers movie line, but GPS has pretty much become a thing of the past. So stop being scared, buy gold toys. Transformers included.

Humor my curiosity and answer a few questions?
-What country and state do you live in?
-How warm is the weather there?
-Do you live in a humid or arid area?
-Where do you keep your Beast figure?
-Was the box newly stocked when you picked it up?
-If you got it online, how long was it in shipping?

Alternatively; one of the best pieces of advice I can give you is that if you are having problems with ML joints, fill your sink up with as cold of water as you can, straighten your figure's limbs out as much as possible, then put it in the water for 2-3 minutes.

You have to be 18 to be on 4chan, you should probably hit that big red X button in the corner.
>>
>>7532846
Other than being constantly hot at all times, none of those would affect it. It's just a side effect of the plastic they use for joints, it's not an environmental issue.
>>
>>7532850
You sure talk a lot for being a Special Ed reject. Do they make you take pills so you're quiet in class? It's weird that they let you on the computer, you just embarrass yourself.
>>
>>7532854
Kind of. If it's humid and and consistently warm, even in the slightest. it can cause plasticizer to melt of "sweat".
Rubberized plastics like the MLs may react similarly but retain their solidity better due to the consistency. I've had Legends ship from warm places like Texas and Arizona with issues like this and it called for me to have to "freeze" the plastic with cold water.

Might be a chemical thing, might be a density thing; but it's worked for me in the past.

Also also, different factories have different ways of producing toys. It's one of the reasons why GI Joe still used metal screws and metal hip joints, while every other line was purely plastic.

hardy brock WHEN, it was the perfect MAFEX figure
>>
>>7533337
Hopefully never. This movie sucked so painfully badly and wasted so much of its potential. The Life Foundation symbiotes could have been so cool, but they ended up just feeling generic and boring. Riot was barely visually distinguishable from Venom himself, especially when they were fighting. It would have been great if they'd drawn inspiration from Riot's Planet of the Symbiotes figure, where he was purple, had devilish horns, four arms, and an insectoid carapace. Would really have made him stand out.
>>
>>7533363
Venom was about fucking Venom. Marvel Spiderman movies are not even about Spiderman and all about Ironman.

>This movie sucked so painfully badly and wasted so much of its potential.

I agree it wasted potential but honestly its pretty well received by fans, hardy and venoms bants we're a joy. if they just fleshed out the story better it would've been a great spiderman anti-hero movie. i want a figure to commemorate the fun time I had at the movies

Marvel Legends use part of the budget to give you a BAF piece. Black Series, Power Rangers, and Overwatch don't. If they took that BAF part away across the line, they'd have more pieces or unique sculpts for individual figures.

Those times they currently release ML multi-packs or single figures without a BAF piece save them a nice chunk. Probably part of the reason things like the Vintage line get such big discounts.
>>
>>7533478
and since BAFs went to shit years ago their exclusion would be welcome.

BAFs used to be for the gigantic characters. Then it became Jubilee and a monkey in a suit and other useless shit that could have been normal figures.

Rescue should've at least come with a open hand and a blast effect, feels like the basic figure has more accessories. War Machine looks great but the double packed ones always lingered here so I'll risk finding him in the wild. Same with Bill and especially since it's a movie wave that'll get restocked to hell. The rest of the wave sucks. Union Jack should've been on the 2099 body. He and Rocky's gonna be your new pegwarmers, watch.

I'm actually curious about this too since the Bullseye body looks remarkably better and is much better suited to Jack and seeing the Bucky mold continue to get used with zero improvements makes me lose interest in a figure almost instantly.
>>
>>7533898
I get sick of people saying "be thankful they made anything at all" to excuse inaccuracy, high price, cost-cutting or poor QC. If someone is that desperate they'll take any old junk to fill a hole in their collection that's their business but Hasbro isn't making these as gifts, I have to buy it and if it's not what I want then I don't buy it.

It's always the Hastards that have this mentality too. They're so used to mediocre junk being made that they can't stand the idea of someone not liking what Hasbro makes.
>>
>>7533936
>inaccuracy, high price, cost-cutting or poor QC.
Well these are all based on early designs, so there's your reason for any inaccuracies you fuck. These aren't high priced at all, and they haven't cut cost and the QC is still high as ever. So go cry somewhere else.

I mean it makes sense for the environment to affect the state of your toys. The problem is that it doesn't affect most of my figures, especially the BAFs. They're just fine with no loose joints. However, I don't know how Gamestop shipping to store works like. Do they leave it outside at some point? Was the backroom they got it from damp or room temp?

Regardless, I'll probably have to try that out. Thanks.
>>
>>7533759

>>
>>7534105
Bill and War Machine are possible must gets. I can't see Rescue being popular enough to sell out constantly. Same with the rest of the wave.
>>

You're either being deliberately obtuse or you quit Marvel Legends years ago and are still trying to talk like you know anything. You literally named the worst time period in BAF history without talking about the comeback that occurred afterwards. Sure, we're not getting the likes of Sentinels or Fin Fang Fooms anymore, but they're at least giving us pretty awesome and hefty figures again. Sauron, Apocalypse, Rhino, Warlock, things are going pretty good nowadays.
>>
>>7533698
Knew it. That promo shot earlier was just an awful photo from an awful angle. Shuri's face looks great.
>>
>>7534294
They've also done things like M'Baku, Okoye, and Mantis in recent time. Sauron is mostly reuse from a single packed figure. Thanos and Groot were both reissued in regular ML boxes because they're small enough to fit.
>>
>>7534289
Also trash, but it least it had accessories and a bunch of overlay pieces. This is just a regular ass Hulk that's not really much different from the 2015 one.

Yes, probably. But those times are gone. You can either accept that and move on like the rest of us, or steadfastly refuse to enjoy anything ever again because "things used to be better." Much moreso than a tally of years lived, this is how people actually grow old.

I'm sure this post will be misconstrued as Hasbro dick sucking or some shit. That ain't it. I see Hasbro's shortcomings too, and I always hope for them to improve their practices. I just wish people would shut the fuck up about Toybiz already. They were cool, now they're dead, let's move on.

>better toys
>more successful movie franchises
>better written comics

Every time I hear "SJW Marvel" tossed as an insult, I know it's some bitter fuck mad that DC is failing. Their movies have been mostly shit, they neuter their otherwise decent TV shows with "embargo" legal shit preventing them from using certain elements of the source because it might "interfere" with another upcoming movie somehow(they learned literally nothing form the "bat embargo" that kept JLU from using things doe to that awful; The Batman cartoon) and the comic plots seem to have been cooked up while doing heroin- Batman Who Laughs is fucking dumb, 3 Jokers is dumb, Damien Wayne never should have been introduced and every new costume is hideous. And they have a notorious alt-right artist they refuse to fire.

The only good aspect they have left is their animated films and I'm still torrenting those as long as "Uncle Ethan" is employed. I want to watch TMNT/Batman but fuck financially supporting these clowns to do so.

It's sad because Marvel is still tainted by every dumbass decision Joe Quesada made, every awful Bendis story, how pointless, idiotic and broken Civil War was, Deadpool being an overrated shit character, yet their crap is still on top of the mindless shit DC churns out by comparison.

I got a full replacement for my Warlock wave Cyclops because he had some excess glue on his forehead and that was long after he'd become scarce. When they couldn't replace a broken 2-pack Luke Cage because it's a store exclusive, they offered to send something of my choice of equal value. I got the Legendary Riders Ghost Rider set in exchange. They're pretty great about helping out folks so long as its something within their power.

Not the anon you're replying to but I'll second that. Not Marvel but I got Siege Shockwave from Pulse a while back and his ratchet in one of his legs didn't work out of the box. They sent me a replacement no hassle. Then I pre ordered some TFs from them and they ended up sending me one of the wrong toys. They reshipped the toy I actually purchased and then let me keep the second toy for free. They're pretty top tier in my book.

Just so you know, that McFarlane uses ball joints to attach the limbs to the body, so that figure isn't broken.
There's a lot of reviews of people popping the limbs off because they're a little too tight.

Which is funny, given that they can pop out relatively easy, but the joints aren't loose when posing.

I posted and took that picture, it may not be clear in the pic but in hand the ball-peg was clearly snapped off.
