Just give me the armoured body without the undressing gimmick and 1/6th scale price.
>>
I ordered the Gothic Knight, the other one looks too fantasy for my taste.
>>
>>7509575
The Revoltech knight is what you want. This is something else.
>>
>>7510384
It’s definitely much more fantasy, but I do like it as an mmo armor.
>>
>>7510391
>Revoltech Knight

oh god no.
>>
>>7510391
Nah those suck ass
>>
>>7510391
I own it and it's definitely not what I want.
>>
Where’s my Sturmbannführer, DamToys?
>>
>>7509575
That’s not a gimmick, it’s the kind of figure these are. This is a 1/6 company making 1/12 figures in the same style.
>>7510903
Then your best bet is that someone like The Fwoosh decides to crowdfund a line of knights.
>>
Did anyone get the DamToys SAS figures?
>>
>>7511038
>That’s not a gimmick, it’s the kind of figure these are. This is a 1/6 company making 1/12 figures in the same style.
I'm fully aware. I'd just be happy to buy it without the option to undress him as I'd never use those parts anyway.
>>
>>7511065
You don’t have to undress them, you can just leave their suits of armor on. The mail shirt and pants underneath is so boring on its own that you are not really supposed to take the armor off anyway.
>>
>>7509373
finally a 1/12 scale fucking proper war hammer
>>
>>7511615
You're that guy that was trying to get one for your DnD character or something, right?
>>
If you got a TBleague seamless body and don’t know what to do with it there’s this now
>>
There’s another modern military line called Soldier Story. These ones seem to use seamless bodies. On a related note TBleague is also making a 1/12 male seamless body.
>>
>>7515331
Kind of interested, but the casual wear of these guys never did a lot for me.
>>
>>7515339
They don't all have the same casual wear look.
>>
>>7513864
>70 bucks just for a outfit and head

ehhh
>>
>>7509373
How historically accurate are these?
>>
>>7518284
Right is pretty close, but left is all fantasy. Weapons are pretty accurate though.
>>
>>7511042
BBTS finally fucking shipped out mine. Should get it by the end of the week.
>>
>>7509373
I need horse.
>>
>>7515331
>>7515339
Speak for yourself, I can finally have something close to John Speed in 1/12
>>
>>7518330
There’s the figma and revoltech horses but those are too small for these. I think someone else was making a seamless 1:12 horse in scale but I have no idea where that went.
>>
>>7511042
I got mine. I'm really loving it so far.
>>
>>7512576
yeah something like that
>>
>>7515331
>seamless bodies
Eww.
>>
>>7518330
Did someone say horse?
>>
For those who aren’t into seamless bodies I just came across this on AliExpress:
>>
>>7518330
If you don’t mind paying $80 for a non-articulated horse there’s the JXK horse.
>>
>>7525155
>>
Is anyone getting the Queen of te Vampires figure?
>>
>>7525155
>>7525158
These look like very basic customized Breyer horses. I forget which one is the 1:12 line (Classics? It’s been a while) but they’re typically a third of that price, if that. And you have more options when it comes to pose and tack.
>>
>>7527009
Some day someone will make the perfect 1/12, fully articulated horse, but not today.
>>
>>7529139
How is the Kaiyodo horse? It looks pretty cool but the 170$ aftermarket price doesn't.
>>
>>7525784
I like lewd fantasy, but the TBleague original designs aren't doing it for me for some reason.
>>
>>7513864
>want canon black dress
>but the white dress version comes with the better head
You won't get me this time, Chinkjews. Went for the better head, the head that comes with the TBleague body is pretty shitty.
>>
>>7531182
I don’t have it but it looks small for figures like the COOmodel knights.
>>
>>7531264
I’m not a fan of this design either but it’s not a TBleague original design. I thought it was based on a comic but apparently she started as a statue and then the same company that made that decided to create a comic around the character. I’m personally holding out for some more iconic characters like Vampirella.
>>
>>7509373
I can tell you the Samurai were fucking amazing, but I can't really afford/find space for any more toys. Too bad, I would have grabbed these two in a heartbeat.
>>
>>7509373
I want to make tabards for these.
>>
>>7525155
>>7525158
Seamless articulated 1/12 horses when?
>>
>>7537194
Soon. I’m sure there are pictures of the horse alone but I can’t think to find them.
>>
>>7537899
>... seem to find them.
I’m sure they’ll sell the horse alone at some point in various versions.

>>
>>7539797
Is that an accessory that come with the John Wick figure or sold separately?
>>
>>7540430
Man, they pushed all my equipment buttons with this one.

Speaking of SS figures, I take it Dam Toys still hasn't released that Sturmbannführer?
>>
>>7541007
Still nothing. They took their time with the SAS assaulter and breacher too.
>>
>>7540993
The exclusive John Wick comes with that but it adds to the price. On sale tomorrow 10AM EST.
>>
>>7540505
They should include multiple ball joints of different sizes for the neck.

I’ve just never played the game. The figure looks great but I don’t know anything about the character.

He's ninja James Bond meets Snake Plissken with a more complicated backstory than Wolverine
>>
>>7548062

why are you even asking then? if you like getting figures from characters you don't know or care much, it's up to you
>>
I’ve never heard of this company, how/where exactly do I buy these? Would be great if they did that 1/12 Male body in a lighter skin tone too.
>>
>>7548256
Attachment to a character can help someone overlook some flaws of a figure, he is asking if people would recommend the figure to someone who had no attachment to the character or franchise.
>>
>>7549656
Anon, no one knows which figure you are talking about. I personally mostly order figures like these from KGhobby.

I didn’t know where Coomodel sells their knights but I’ve since found some smaller US stores and a few Chinese shops on eBay which I assume aren’t shady bootlegs. I’m really interested in the blank body they show on their website in 1/12 but it doesn’t look like it’s for sale anywhere.
>>
>>7549961
They don’t sell the blank yet as far as I know, but some sellers on eBay part these out and sell the bodies and accessories separately.
>>
>>7549664
that makes sense
>>
>>7540430
Is anyone familiar with vctoysbox.com? It’s the only place I’m seeing this figure up for preorder.

>>
>>7555102
Yeah, I buy from there constantly, but it's usually just casual wear or soft goods for specific figures.
>>
>>7555109
More makers will start making clothes for these figures once they’re out just like is happening for the female figure.
>>
>>7552597
I think this is the ToysEra Wolverine body rather than either of the TBLeague ones. Did anyone get that one?
>>
>>7549930
I recently ordered one too. Came in last week. I think hey may be my favorite toy of the year.

Only gripes is that his hands come out of socket too easily and his head joint doesn't seem to be that universal. ... Both of these are very small gripes tho.
>>
>>7556437
Do they have any ankle articulation?
>>
>>7551925
He's now up on Ami Ami, for the fucking ridiculous price of $154.
>>
>>7559647
AmiAmi always marks up this kind of figures but I wouldn’t pay over 100 for it when DamToys Panzer officer has more accessories and costs less than that.

Mine finally came in. It's honestly one of the best figures I own now. The detailing is just incredible and the softgoods don't immediately pop out at me as cheap garbage.
>>7557153
Yes it does, just not the conventional ankle rocker. It's above the boot, which I think more booted figures should pick up on.
>>
>>7563188
How does that look? Doesn’t it look like a broken leg in wide stances?
>>
>>7563591
It doesn’t have a wide enough range to look awkward, so the baggyness of the pants cover it up well.
You’re not going to get him into the splits with both feet flat on the ground, but yoo Will get him in all the gun shooting poses you’d want without him eating shit because his feet aren’t planted right.
>>
>>7559647
Another site I’m not familiar with tnsfigures.com has him for $100
>>
>>7566635
>Remembers when quality 1/6 WWII figures didn't even cost $100.

Guess I'm not quite ready for clothed 1:12 scale yet.
>>
>>7566904
This figure is an exception, though. Other similar figures from different companies are around 70 and those that push 100 are loaded with accessories like pic related. I don’t know what they are thinking. I would be very disappointed if this scale becomes as expensive as 1/6.
>>
>>7563188
That’s the Picco Neemo BDU? That looks like a perfect match.
>>
>>7510395
can someone explain why? whats wrong with them?
>>
>>7570254
As I recall, a dubious joint set-up makes them less poseable than they had the potential to be.
>>
>>7513864
I wonder why Super Duck gave the black dress version rooted hair and the white version sculpted hair.
>>

So these things already come with a joint that would allow for ankle rockers. The problem being that the boots go over it. What feet would work on these guys? I'd imagine most based on 3a stuff would work.

>>7563188

Is his body seamless or is his outfit covering a basic skeleton?
>>
>>7574413
It's one of those skinny bodies made for clothed figures so the cloth lays better. Not much point to have a seamless one on a fully dressed figure.
>>
>>7574413
I don’t have a DamToys 1/12 figure and I can’t find a picture of their 1/12 body but I’m sure it’s something like pic related from COOmodel, a fairly detailed hard plastic body with articulation cuts.
>>
>>7574772
Any idea where to get one of these?
>>
>>7575682
I got one on Ebay (minus feet). There are a few sellers parting out COOmodel knights and samurai.
>>
>>7566635

I'm still excited about this guy. The cloth probably wont be as pretty as these $70+ figures, but for 40 with these accessories and articulation, it's something to look forward to.
>>
>>7575956
I’m getting this too. Only other option in this scale would be the revoltech figs which I bought on release and then sold off after a while.

Also, their Slam Dunk figs were pretty okay as well so i’m thinking this would turn out ok too.
>>
The DamToys Sturmbannführer is shipping now.
>>
>>7575956
Are they making only Kenshin? I'd kill for a 1/12 Shishio.
Also, what are some good 1/12 male kimonos? Wanted one for my Takeya Samurai Skeleton.
>>
>>7509373
why are 1/12 figures suddeny booming again?
>>
>>7578397
Because Hot Toys ruined the 1/6th market.
>>
>>7578405
makes sense, plus it's cheaper so normies can afford it
>>
>>7578397
1/12 has been the most popular action figure scale for a while. 1/6 got ridiculously expensive thanks to Hot-Toys and Hasbro almost killed 3 3/4.
>>
>>7531182
Perfect but too small for most figures.
>>
>>7578016
Picco Neemo is going to be too small, your best bet right now is independent makers.
>>
>>7578016
I bet they’ll make more characters if this sells well.
>>

limited articulation compared to the other WW options but I kind of like her best. Her face sculpt looks off in pictures but in hand I felt it was the better over the SHF.

Yeah and even those are pretty mediocre.

It bothers me to no end that I waited a year for the thing to release and the emblems all ended up being stickers (which obviously don't stick well to the cloth)

> One Wehrmacht and one I think Waffen-SS but they’re covering up his collar-tabs on the pictures for some reason.
Yeah, looks like Heer and Waffen-SS variants. As for covering the collar tabs and belt buckle, I'd say it's just to play it safe. A lot of the western world still gets pretty uppity about Nazi iconography. They look pretty cool, and the inclusion of that belted 7.92mm ammo has me thinking a MG-Schütze is in the planning.

>>7590070
>It bothers me to no end that I waited a year for the thing to release and the emblems all ended up being stickers (which obviously don't stick well to the cloth)
Yeah, that's pretty lame. It's not like they're giving you different insignia options, just duplicates for when they inevitably have to be replaced.
