Misinformation. Was present at NYTF this year and the Mattel rep I spoke to said they aren't ready to reveal anything on this line yet, but it is still expected to launch this year.
>>
>>7449994
Yeah I was thinking about that, if they can give us these matchbox cars with each version of the vehicles I hope we'll get proper scale ones for the main toy line eventually. They gave you the runaround, and you're a damn sucker for believing them. They didn't show anything because they don't HAVE anything. They won't be producing these.
>>
>>7450591
And what evidence do you have to provide to back up what your saying here?
>>
>>7450591
I'd wait until SDCC to believe anything you say... it kind of makes sense for them not to show anything at NYTF. This was the Dino Rivals welcoming party... A little late to the start of the actual brand packaging but that's what it was. These new ones had there sneak peek at SDCC why not kick it off at the following years SDCC??? It makes perfect sense...

Literal don't have one nice thing to say about Mattel right now, the fact that this shit got the green light when the Legacy one was Cancelled is like finding your beloved dog dead on your door step with a note:"he died painfully, slowly and I enjoyed every moment of it." Worse than salt or acid its beyond insulting to fan and this line absolutely hideous and feel like Hasbro all over again.
>>

Should have left these in the Legacy line and given natural colors, not some Purple crayon, Playdoe, Cotton candy, Kindergarten, Bullshit !

Exactly, they keep going with the most unnatural patterns and color schemes that a so wretched and garish it would make a clown dizzy.
Look at dave Silvas color choices on the other hand.
They are bright yet organized, unique yet natural. How hard is it to put a little time and research into your product ? At $10 a pop or more can you serously call this quality its beyond lazy and unthinkable after winning the Damn TOTY Award WTF Mattel you can't be serious.

seriously don't let your cynicism cloud your judgement. It's not like they've cancelled them outright. They're obviously still working and designing an ARTICULATED and larger scale series of toys. That takes time and they don't want to show anything that obviously isn't ready.

Everyone was claiming the same about the Brachi and then look what happened. The only item that was officially revealed and then canceleld was the Legacy Raptor and Dilo, and they were still released albeit in a questionable repaint.

Have some faith my guy.

Start by fixing the shittalicious Target "contract for an exclusive then refuse to stock it" distribution. If I were Mattel Sales, I'd have put a "Use It or Lose It" clause in the contracts where any exclusives the intended retailer declines to order become Open Season for everybody, maybe require a specified minimum number of units ordered to make a figure Exclusive or it goes General Release.

Target's not gonna learn until somebody goes and gets a frozen carp, bitchslaps them with it and then shoves it up their ass. As long as they don't face consequences for their offensive actions, they'll only be emboldened to double-down on them.

this goes even beyond JP/JW. Target has two exclusive items that are supposed to be distributed right now: MEGO Freddy Krueger w/metal claws and the SWVC Han in Storm trooper disguise. of course they dont have them stocked, seeing as they are almost a month over due. but lets remember to stock the DC He-man ass figures. modern kids love awkward beefy 5 inch 5POA figures that TOTALLY wont pegwarm and rot till clearence comes round.
seriously, does anyone even care about Savage land or whatever its called? at my local targets it seems to take precedence over all other toys.
>>
my mom got me Maisie yesterday. Disspointed she has no elbow articulation but it is the only 1/18 kid I have so far. The T-Rex skull is pretty nice but what's up with the small T-Rex? It is a fully adult but in small form like those matchbox dinosaur, why are they mixing lines? My autism doesn't know what to do with it. I hope to get the veterinatian girl some day, she was my favorite character in a sexual way. I also saw the green triceratops which has two(2) attack actions! Amazing. I will make enough good boy points for next weekend I hope. Still missing the main cast from JP1 and the jeep those are my next objectives. And also the fixed TnT Rex.

>>

Then again, nobody ever said Target management had brains... what kind of fucking retarded monkey thinks pissing off half their potential customers playing to the politics of 5-10% is Smart Business Strategy? Speaking for myself, the Legacy Collection is the ONLY thing between me and joining the #BoycottTarget movement, and if they're not gonna give me reason to continue that exception then Walmart (ugh) thanks them for my business.

Matty also needs to get a frickin' clue about e-tailers other than Amazon, maybe consider giving Entertainment Earth and BigBadToyStore some "Hobby Exclusives."

Exactly, most kids have no point of reference for what is ok quality, dollar store quality, or good quality figures (unless their like us as kids and shit like basic articulation bugs the hell out of them cause they want something more life like and real.) They'll take anything for the most part but normal what can entertain for longer are things you can get more play out of, action feature vs articulation it will be articulation that can better express play and imagination in a more realistic manor. Unfortunately some people just don't get that, interestingly enough the Super articulated figures like the Ultimate Gorgon, and super poseable Indoraptor never went for more than $25-$20 msrp. As in they're not that expensive to make, the Gorgon even had electronics and sound.
>>
>>7457100
Please tell me how the attack packs would be fully articulated. Or the humans? This line just happens to be a shout out to Kenner. Were they fully articulated? No they were not. These are affordable kids toys aimed at collectors.

Pins are preferable to screw holes in my book, I really wish the Mattel Allo was a better more movie accurate sculpt not a mentally retarded looking whatever the heck they wound up giving us didn't even bother getting it cause it bugged me so much the JW Evolution Allosaurus actually looks like an Allosaurus not sure what they thought this>>7446305
was hope they do a resculpt preferably based on the JW Evo version for the sake of continuity. And the same for the wretched Metri too.

So since the Jurassic world is mostly hard plastic figures with no real dino damage does that mean its not real Jurassic Park????

But did they seriously have to give it huge hanging teeth and an over bite like the T-Rex for some unknown reason?

Get your head out off your ass. these toys were never aimed at us. And kenner toys had very similar features. I grew up with 5poa toys and never felt like I missed out.

What a dumbass question

Agreed on all points. The metri is even worse than the allo. I want a black with some red carnotaurus repaint like the demon

Even licensed dino’s look like bootlegs in china.

Wasn't the second carno in FK in this color scheme?
>>
>>7457789
I saw in a klayton fioriti video that it was. That carno sculpt is one of the better in the early waves.

Haha be careful that link may even have viruses. Fuck the Chinese. Gotta start making the toys in the country they were designed.

Does Gi joe mean nothing to you???

What he said.
>>

You're fucking retarded. The new joes have a shit ton more articulation than the original ones. Please stop posting.

>>Not much articulation in that figure over what we have now.

Are you high or mental, that figure has more articulation than the Mattel humans or just about anyother 1:18 human figure besides the Gi.Joes themselves. I take it you don't even own one, so how can you talk about something you don't even have full knowledge of?

You're not the only one with that figure ... stop acting like you're special.

I have all the Kenner toys. I know it was the standard back in the 90s. I don't have a problem with there being a gimmick line.

It doesn't cost any extra money to give us properly proportioned sculpts, accurate paint jobs and neutral positions. How do you not understand this?

As far as the humans and vehicles, I get that they don't sell as well but if they were willing to make Fallen Kingdom vehicles, they could at least make the Iconic ones from the first two movies.

Than you just don't truly appreciate it like we do. Maybe you don't know your lucky to own one, if you don't actually care all that much, I could take it off your hands for you and give it a good home if you know what I mean lol
