Just two more weeks until metal stockings comes out. I thought his skin was off, but more photos from Yamaguchi put my mind at ease.

This has been a very AY heavy month for me. Got that 6500 yen Invisi venom, that free shipping carnage, and a Gambit on the way.
>>
>>7442510
Wow he looks great, I wonder if they'll do more Transformers now and if they do that it's more than what we got last time.
>>
>>7442510
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but since they're advertising it like a feature, what does "No PVC" actually mean for us end-users? Any noticeable advantage, or is it just a getting rid of an inferior plastic sorta thing?
>>
>>7445262
No more leaking plasticizers, I'd imagine.
>>
>>7445270
While that definitely is a good thing, it also hasn't been a problem since Eva 08 years ago.
>>
>>7445196
Wow fuck you you were the one that got that venom
Saved my wallet tho so thanks
>>
>>7445262
While PVC can be not as gummy depending on the mixture, there are still some aspects that makes the plastic less preferable for Mecha.
The harder ABS gives it a sharper look, and clearer moldings on the surface for that mechanical detailing.
It might be lighter too, but I'm not really sure about that.

>>7445270
I'm not sure if that matters what plastics are used, isn't there plasticizer in a lot of things? Otherwise everything is too brittle or something. And yeah it stopped being a problem with PVC for a long time.

Since the project supervisor guy is considering Optimus as one under the American comics genre, what other properties do you think AY might try that's not Marvel and DC?

I kind of want another crack at Ninja Turtles with Shredder this time. Turtles that are not too cartoony, but that's 5 slots minimum which is a tall order.

Personal wants that I know is highly unlikely is He-Man, which I guess is still DC...Vampirella then because I like the female sculpts so far.
>>
>>7446690
That sucks. Sorry to hear that man.

>>
>>7450797
Would like to see Spawn and maybe they'll try for Hellboy seeing how well Venom has done so far for larger characters,
>>
>>7450896
Unless they had their eyes on Hellboy early in the game I doubt the AY team will go there after Sentinel is focusing a fair amount of resources on that IP. They're even doing DMC5 so that company is doing a good job of filling the void Kaiyodo left behind with their unusual picks of IPs.

And MAYBE McFarlane will release a poseable Spawn in their current Fortnite articulation model now that they finally realized people wanted articulation. Not the same but I don't see why he would bother to let someone else make his own precious IP. The got the DC license so I could see them sneaking in some of their own comic characters by sharing some parts.

I would like to see a new large character since Yamaguchi will likely not be limited to using multiple revo joints so the issues seen in Venom would be solved.

My temporary carnage pose until I get in Venom. I'm honestly not proud of it. Hopefully mixing him with Venom and Spider-man gives me more inspiration.
>>
>>7451479
Try to get it more creative, this one is hell of fun
>>
>>7450989
I heard that he said a Spawn figure with the fortnite style articulation is coming and if it sells well he'll look into doing more characters, specifically mentioning Redeemer and I think the clown.
>>
>>7451952
Is that invisible color venom? Looks more black than purple.
>>
>>7451952
How's Cap? I was thinking of picking him up but I didn't want to get too dedicated to the Marvel line.
>>
>>7452365
Ok that sounds about right. With comic book superheroes being popular it seemed stupid not to cash in a little with titles he owns. You know more than some cheap statues.
>>
>>7452735
Revo Venom isn't really purple, as much as he is metallic dark navy/royal blue

>>7452746
Not him, but I personally love Cap. He's easily one of my favorite figures despite not being the costume I would have preferred.

Thinking of getting Deathstroke. Anything I should know about him before getting him? He seems like a fun guy to get and if I'm going to be honest, I'm just interested in getting him as a companion for Deadpool while his weapons go to ML Spider-Man Noir because he looks stylishly dangerous..
>>
>>7452875
Owning him two days after it released, he's 100% solid. The perfect AY.
>>
>>7452875
He's the best of the line as of now. The sculpt plastic is a little softer than usual so some places might feel loose. Hair dryer will fix that though.

One caution point is some weapons holstered tends to fall out. Like if you hold the Revo upside down. Only worry is losing the handgun or knife while handling the Revo.
>>
>>7452861
I'm 7451952 and this one is look much badass, nice work dude

My venom is original ver, although the invisible ver is really cool indeed but I love mine with metallic black which mixed a bit purple.

And to the dude whom have doubt should get cap or not, my suggestion is you should get one even you're not fans of the character. AY cap is really a solid figure and you know it secondly while you play it, big muscle dude with incredible articulation also plus a beautiful color shield, you will love it and it's much fun if you give him pistol or knife something.
>>
>>7452951
Have you tried pushing hard on the pistol in the holster? I've found that to work on the falling out issue.
>>
>>7452958
There's a hint of a catch, but it's not really strong as I would like it to be. It loosens if you touch it while posing.
>>
Ok whats the best place to get some queens blade revoltech? Mandarake? Is it being an old line going to make it pricey or ubiquitously cheap?

I hadn't thought about Guyver Revos because GSC seems the only company in the world to care about the "franchise", but I would absolutely love this.

I'd add the T-800 to go along with MAFEX's Robocop, Alita (manga or movie), Guilty Gear and maybe some obscure edgy tokusatsu inspired by Takeya/Amemiya such as Iria Zeiram. Finally, it's not really capeshit and it's a pipedream so I'm gonna say DC's Swamp Thing.
>>

>Wanting females not wearing masks from Yamaguchi
It's like you want to be disappointed.
Guyver, Cashern, the beast Primes and 8man would be cool though
>>
>>7454830
I know, but it was like two runs and the Revoltech versions are very outdated except for the sculpt and paint. Granted two different companies are currently working on it so it's not that crucial. I just want Kaiyodo to do it again with Yamaguchi involved this time.
>>7454962
Nah, his female sculpts are fantastic. Faces can be rough, he did only one recently after(?) switching to digital so it's hard to say. And face preference is probably the most subjective topic so it's difficult to judge unless there's one source and you're talking accuracy.

Nothing about the sculpt would interfere with articulation, and he'd come with a nice arsenal of ninja weapons. I don't know if Ryu's more or less likely since the series has been dormant for a while, though.
I also really want a Dante, but he was already mentioned earlier.
>>

That looks absolutely gorgeous anon. I hope they do more. I'm not planning to skip any humanoid figures they make considering they're my favorite toyline and all but I'm still on the fence with Optimus. I just really don't have other Transformers figures he can pose with.
>>
>>7455608
>I just really don't have other Transformers figures he can pose with.
Don't worry it's almost a guarantee they would make at least one more, probably Megatron, to go with Optimus. Ever since the Revol Mini Yamaguchi is aware you need some counterparts from the same IP. AY has been pretty consistent with that approach.
>>
>>7454951
good god a SIC sized Zeiram 1 & 2 monsters would be a dream come true but we all know how unlikely it is. Hell, if Goodsmile does it, even with their ridiculous pricing like the Takeya Predator and Alien, I'd bite if it's Zeirams.

I think if I get like 4 or 5 figures then I can justify getting them. They're kind of easy to get post release in my country anyway so that would not be a problem. I just don't feel like they belong in my current collection since they're human sized. Sucks though since Optimus looks really fantastic.
>>
>>7455788
>>7456468

There's an old Baki the Grappler line by a company called Planet Toys and they only made a couple characters but there is a Yujiro.

You can tell they're old but not cause the amount of articulation isn't up to modern standards, just cause the style of the engineering is dated. They sort of feel like Toy Biz MLs.
>>
>>7457238
