Why does this fandom have so many mentally ill people? It's seriously not normal, have you ever met people like this in real life? I guess I've met like one gay dude who was sort of undecided and a little weird, and I've known some trannies but they were still nowhere near this nuts. Maybe they just knew to hide their power level but even for the LGBT this seems like batshit insane. Probably some white as fuck brat too, talking shit about some poor Chinese artisan's waifu. baka
>>
>>7323747
Some of them have issues during transformation, not enough room and poor tolerances. other than that they're great for a legends collection, but still small for a generations display, so far the best CHUG options are either toyworld or the oversizaed POTP dinobots if you're in a tight budget.
>>
>>7323796
every fandom has plenty of people fucked in the head, transformers is hardly unique in that regard
>>
Wish they'd release this some time in the next 100 years.
>>
>>7323873
I don't know man, most of my seasonal anime and LN fandoms seem a lot more normal than this. Or at the very least the strange ones are put in the corner whereas with Transformers it seems like they're front and center and ready to spout their bullshit on everything
>>
MAAS Toys released a January update, looks like they got away with my money
>>
>>7323747
What happened was that they didn't account for the thickness of the metallic coating so the first release (Sludge) had a whole host of tolerance and breakage issues (some were even broken before opening the box). Hype for those died down after that so idk if the rest of the releases had the same issues. Just be careful when first handling it.

"Hurr-durr we fucked ourselves by burning bridges with fansproject who knows everyone else and now we still havent found a factory to make our toys in, oh and by the way we lied before and have to literally start from the ground up on all our projects including prototyping. Please accept this smushed static accessory of a literally who character in his unrecognized cybertron alt-mode. Btw, did we mention this consolation prize isn't free, must be bought, and is limited to only 500pcs?"

Tl:dr, MAAS Toys is fucked and doesn't want to admit it.
>>
>>7323683
>>7323684
Yeah, I found this out when I got mine. It doesn't bother me nearly as much though as his box being different from Slag's and Sludge's. FansToys did the same thing (at least with their G2 releases) and it's irksome to me.

>>
>>7323981
What exactly happened between MAAS and Fanstoys? I know they were sharing factories and somehow Fanstoys now owns all of their molds or some shit but how the fuck did it even get there? How were the two companies even related to begin with and how did the feud between them actually start?
>>
>>7323981
As bad of a burn as this is, it's true. Anyone who supports this company going forward is an idiot.
>>
>>7324015
How in the fuck do you read FANSPROJECT and respond with the shit right there on your screen and still manage to write FansToys repeatedly?
>>
>>7324043
my bad. Honestly, I have no fucking idea how I managed that. Maybe it's because we have 3 different companies with FANS in the name and I more or less keep forgetting Fansproject even exists because they don't do jack shit anymore so whenever they come up, my brain sees it and then subconsciously swaps it for one of the other two.

Regardless, what's the deal with FANSPROJECT and MAAS? How did they end up with ownership of all of MAAS's current projects and molds or whatever the hell is going on?
>>
>>7324059
TLDR is that MAAS got FP to manufacture their stuff. However, MAAS was late on payment. When FP *allegedly* threatened to take action if MAAS doesn't pay up, one of MAAS owners went to find FP's rivals. This conversation was leaked, essentially killing all ties between MAAS and FP.

It didn't help when that one Flip owner shit-talked about this on the forums and boobyface's podcast.

You can read more about it by going through That Fancy Website circa 2005's Untrustables thread. MAAS' Untrustables collab with Casey Stark is the bigger issue because there are crowdfunded tier rewards yet to be fulfilled.

Reposting because I posted this (more or less) at the death of the last thread;

Gf and I have been pissing around with the idea of 3D printed transformers, and to test things out, we printed a prototype of Megawillbot's TUSKS figure with the mouth removed (green dude), and then later upped the print quality and remodelled his entire chest to make him into a player piano. Also had to fix an issue with the abdomen peg holes being filled thanks to some minor errors in the model. Can post clearer pics of either of them if anyone's interested.

All around not a bad little figure though considering he just snaps together, but a complete remodel of him is definitely on the horizon at some point. There's a lot of room for improvement.

Any Anons here have any suggestions for what we should model for our own original transformer? We've been talking about making a gondola that transforms into a dick for shits and giggles, but if anyone has a better idea, let me know.

The only purpose of the Kiraposter is destroying TF discussion wherever they see it. A few days ago some anons left /tfg/ to go talk in /co/ for a bit as the main general turned into a /tv/ thread, and Kirafag actually followed over there to shitpost.

>>7324118

To cut out the vague speak;

MAAS got to share a manufacturer as a favor with payment promised. MAAS didn't pay. Their shit didn't get produced. The owner went on a sympathy tour lying and blaming Fansproject on TFW and a youtube dramacast. Owner got exposed. Company doesn't have the money to produce seemingly anything promised now and no company in their right mind would fuck with them to help. Looks like both retailers and fans are pulling out of their starscream or whatever backing.

I feel bad for the Unrustables guys because even though I don't like the overly-Sark styit was a very neat idea totally smeared by being involved with that company.

I'd love to know how that TFW user got enough information to ruin guy's life in a single post, though. That shit's crazy.

>No need to throw FP under the bus
/toy/ has been sour on FP for a while now dude. Their Dinobots release was mess that started strong, got progressively worse, dropped the ball on the most important member, released OC fembots that ended up being mediocre as fuck, then went silent for an absurdly long time only to finally complete the set with another mediocre finale. Then there was their DinoKing set that wasn't great and to add insult to injury, after their long silence, the only other thing they had to put out was a repaint of that and now news of anything else. FP used to do good work but they have been on the decline for a while.
>>

Anon I have been on /co/ since 2007 and there was a legitimate increase in shitposting of garbage transformer waifu crap over there the very day /toy/ decide to migrate away from the kirafag (there was some new art posted which was nice but 95% of it is shitposting the same low quality garbage over and over like they're furries or something). There was always a little of it which was fine but now its nearly every third post. And yes while its called "Female Transformers" everyone knows its the general. It even says "and everything transformers" right under the main title. Waifu fags are pure cancer and cant control their sperging.

And to get back on topic when is the next major toyfair or reveal?

>Their Dinobots release was mess that started strong
I'd personally say Colompio was about the weakest link of the bunch, with pretty flip floppity joints. My largest complaint that I've had about the set as a whole is that their hands just simply aren't compatible with their weapons. At least with the guns, they just have the hardest time holding them properly, which is a real downside.

That being said, I am selling my convention variants off to anyone interested.
>>
>Magic Square Artfire uses stickers for pretty much all the details
>But it comes with 2 entire extra sets

I'd rather not have stickers just like everyone else, but I always say if it has to have stickers then there should be shittons extra. Literally exactly what I wanted.
>>
Also Magic Square blaster comes with Ramhorn in his tape deck, even though he has a place in the packaging. Took me a good 5 seconds to realize I wasn't missing a fairly major accessory to this figure...
>>
Ramhorn has a somewhat badly inserted pin that makes his cassette mode all crooked. While it's so small it pretty much doesn't matter, it does bug me that it makes Blaster's tape deck unable to close fully with him inside because of it.

I'm not gonna play with Blaster or Artfire yet, but I always check shit as soon as I get it it. I got Trailbreaker too and I wanna post him (I still need to get pictures of him but my phone is charging)
>>
>>7324977
I'd definitely be interested in seeing pictures of Artfire when you get to him.
>>

yeah this wasn't a pain to photograph. Thankfully the back of the instruction sheet makes for a decent backdrop.

>>7324981
I'm probably gonna do him last just because I already have Inferno and Grapple, but I'll definitely post some pics
>>

>And to get back on topic when is the next major toyfair or reveal
Unless there's a Chinese show or something the next show where we might get news is the TFcon happening in March in Cali.
>>
Trailbreaker makes for a pretty good truck. You could also call it seamless if it weren't for the rear cab windows being broken up by a joint. The shoulder cannon and missile launcher (I don't know what that's supposed to be but it looks like a tiny three-missile array to me) can stay on for the transformation. The missile launcher is on a ball joint too which is pretty nice for aiming it around.
>>
>>7325017
That paint looks really, really good. I have IF, DX9, and UT legends figures, but no MS yet. Theoretically if I were to, which would you recommend? I'm making assumptions that you literally have all of them.
>>
Unfortunately (and as usual for magic square) they don't really have any weapon storage in vehicle mode, so the arm cannon goes loose. There's a space between the legs it can sit in so they might have been able to have a holder for it, but eh I guess not.

>>7325023
I think I have all the released ones. They're all pretty solid all around, it's honestly pretty damn hard to go wrong with any.

I'd maybe suggest Ultra Magnus or Huffer, for having really posable bot modes and a fun transformation (though Ultra Magnus' alt mode isn't that clean)

Having him in hand though I'd probably put Trailbreaker up there too, he's a solid bot and completely clean vehicle.
>>
It's a big fat truck man with tiny hands
>>
Articulation wise he's above the average. Double elbow, double knee, deep ab crunch and the rest. The only thing missing is the head is still a simple 360 swivel, and the shoulders are on slightly limited hinges.
>>
Bet you can't guess how his arm cannon attaches
>>
>>7325034
I assume then that Beachcomber and Seaspray would also be fine to consider?
>>
Next to MS Sideswipe
>>
And they actually scale pretty realistically in alt modes! Much better than Ultra Magnus' tiny tiny trailer.

Blaster up next when I feel like it.

>>7325044
The two of them are both good yep. Beachcomber is tiny and fun, Seaspray is nice too.

They probably come in a twopack just because it would probably cost more to make the packaging than it would be to sell beachcomber solo

How would you overall rank your collection of MS?
>>
>>7324945
I liked Sludge and found him to be a pretty promising start to the line. He did have some floppy joints but floor polish fixed that right up for me. I thought Slag was probably the strongest, though it came with some finicky clearance issues with the transformation. Swoop was where things started to go downhill because it felt like the aesthetic was starting to shift and he was honestly just profoundly boring. I know that tends to be a trend with Swoop but it seemed so much more noticeable here because his transformation really didn't feel like you were doing anything meaningful. If felt like a figure that wasn't designed to transform because oh how little anything does to hide the bot mode and how very little of it really tabs or locks anywhere to give a definable shape. Grimlock was a bit stronger as a figure but so much more disappointing because he didn't live up to Slag. His dino mode was just awkwardly wide in the hips and waist with the chode of a tail doing him no favors, the hand to feet transformation was by far the laziest I have ever seen out of a Grimlock with the hands not even fully hiding away and still being very clearly hands poking out of his heels, The t-rex head has an odd curvature to the lower jaw which makes the whole head look strange, the bot mode "wings" having such a rigid joint system just makes them look really static and just overall feel like they're in the way all the time with nothing you can do to mitigate it, his bot mode feet look really stupid with that single gold toe thing, and I think the angled tail in his calves makes them always look like he's awkwardly leaning backwards all the time, like some sort of reverse Michael Jackson. For the most important member to end up like that was just such a shame. Snarl was pretty decent but it's like they just gave up when it came to the hood and it really does spoil the rest of the figure because it was so close to being a return to form.
>>
>>7325077
Oh, and as a side note, I honestly just kind of hated the little weapon dudes that came with them. They were really meh as weapons and even more meh as robots and just felt like a waste of resources. Sludge's was one of the worst thanks just being a really bizarre weapon and then having that handle blatantly sticking out of his back in bot mode. Slag's was better because he turned into an ok axe and he was able to at least fold his handle flat against his back but it still was just there and in the way. Swoop's was a better robot but another mediocre weapon. Grimlock's boys were also pretty bad. I like the idea of a hammer weapon but in execution, it just wasn't all that fun to fold them into boxes, put a stick between them, and then slap them together. The only one of them I actually really liked was the one that came with Snarl because he was such a fun little dude with a rad looking weapon who turned into a rad little knight. Still, f it made the figures themselves cheaper, I would have happily given them up.
>>
>>7325077
The biggest issue with Snarl of course was the length of time it took for him to be completed. I'll admit that I didn't get any of the set until all 5 were ready, so I can only imagine what it would have been like having this incomplete set of 4 and waiting. And then there hasn't been anything actually new, just the handful of repaint / redecos they've released.

Yeah I can't get mine to stay in there. My best ideas would be to maybe try putting a 3mm hole under the crotch piece to peg the gun into, I'd rather leave well enough alone.

>>7325067
Pretty great all around. A few of them are a slightly light on articulation but for the size you still get a lot.

My only persistent complaint is that they don't really do weapon storage at all. You'll noticed Ultra Magnus is the only one with his gun because he's the only one with a place to put it when I don't want him holding it, or if he's transformed. A few of them also try doing light piping for their eyes and it kinda doesn't work at this scale, going forward I hope they just keep it painted.

Other than that I'm pretty comfortable going all in on this company. I like Iron Factory but I think Magic Square is becoming my default legends scale fix, at least for autobots and earth modes.

They are KINDA expensive, though. Like the cheapest I've found them is 30$ a pop (with the box, cheaper without but I'm a box hoarder) from a thus-far reputable ebay seller, whereas most of the usual shops have them pushing 50$ each.
>>
>>7325040
I'm honestly glad they provide the option for fist or arm cannon with a setup like that.
>>
Just got PoTP Primal as a late christmas present. Are there any add-on kits for him? Or better decals? The stickers on him now are just waiting to fall off.
>>
>>7325095
I keep meaning to try something from MS just because I hear they're really good, but it seems like for every particular toy of theirs I already own the iron factory or hasbro version of, or sort of don't care about the character. It doesn't help things that I'm not a huge a fan of the g1 look.
>>
>>7325099
Yea, I wish their Grapple/Inferno/Artfire/Hauler mold had that option, but the arm transformation doesn't even permit a wrist swivel so options are out of the question.

Sucks too because MP Artfire had the option of having nozzles or hands on BOTH arms, and that was a lot of fun. The MS version just has two hands.
>>
>>7325095
Glad to hear some really positive analysis on them, though I was hoping for something of a numerical ranking of the figures themselves.

>FT releasing two figures a month apart
Shit, they may actually get some steady releases going on this year.
>>
>>7325194
I think their whole "all combiners done within 5 years"(seemingly the big four Scramble City combiners from 86 and Devastator) thing is a very realistic scenario at that point. MEnasor and Superion will be 2019 and 2020, Devastator, Defensor and Bruticus 21/22/23. I just hope they have time to reissue SOME figures, because I need those Insecticons. I know hardcore FT fans hate reissues, but even if they get all the combiner members out there'll still be some empty months. Blitzwng, Trailbreaker, and Scourge would also be nice at some point.
>>
>>7325206
>FT Trailbreaker
I would fucking sell my soul to get that damn thing already.
How long has it been now anyway?
>>
>>7325211
Only like 2 1/2 years; they pulled out when everyone started making one and rumors sprung over takara making them. At this point though, I think they're safe,as in the longshot Takara does do it I doubt anyone who bought the FT would jump ship. That was their biggest apprehension I think, but arguably FT are the ones running the MP game at this point.

The massive lack of hype for Takara's MP Hound and the immediate options over MP-44 have changed things. I'd argue that briefly, Takara had the ball again with sunstreaker's announcement, sicn eit was clearly so much better than any 3P option at the time, but the long lack of new G1 stuff after, only to be followed up with a Hound which seems better, but not significantly better, than the 3P options, plus the MP-44 controversy, they fumbled the ball. There's been way too little since the MP Inferno mold.
>>
>>7325206
You would think FT would be in a place financially where they could do reissues and produce new figures in the same year. With them putting Trailbreaker and Blitzwing back on the shelf and getting Roddy out its safe to say all their muscle is now going into these combiner teams. I expect them to lay all their cards on the table at TFcon in March to try and sway people away from XTB and Zeta who are going to finish their combiners this year.
>>
Someone's selling the Weijiang Blackout for 75 with free shipping from NA on Ebay. Not sure if they broke something on it or if it's a present they hated but it's listed as new. I'd buy a second one to paint but I just bought the Black Mamba Megatron.
>>
>>7324812
So why wasn't this called Skylynx?

Actually why does Bay refuse to adapt more Decepticons and Autobots?
>>
>>7325234
MP Hound is so sad. Even Hastak fags think siege hound is a better looking figure, the anti-hype is real.

Sunstreaker is a great figure, but god I really cannot stand his chest.

>>7325287
FT needs more reissues. Now would be a good time to bring back Willis.
>>
>>7325287
There’s going to be some free months where reissues could happiness en; problem is fanstoys zombies will think it’s taking space away from producing new toys at best, and hurting the value of their precious collectors item at worst.
>>
>>7325292
What’s the better out of black mamba and wei jiangs OS Blackout?
>>
>>7325118
I'm kind of the same in that I have been avoiding double dipping on characters that I already had at a particular scale but I primarily collect CHUG. Then CHUG effectively died as a scale and I had to move on to other scales but don't find myself caring about enough characters yo want to go all in like that and it is starting to become me just buying multiple iterations of characters I like it grabbing whatever seems fun. Now it's too the point that my collection doesn't make a while lot of sense because I have so many different scales and multiple versions of some characters, even from the same scale.
>>
>>7325299
I'm still waiting on an Insecticon reissue, I've been missing Forager and it bugs the absolute shit out of me to not have the complete set. I didn't have the funds at the time.
>>
>>7325296
Did you really WANT that thing to be named Skylynx? It looks like a flying three headed turd made out of needles. It doesn't even look like it's a robot of any kind, much less a Transformer.

As to why Bay didn't adapt more characters instead of making brand new ones, it's likely partially because he wanted to leave his own mark on there brand versus trying to retread what others have created before him. It's possible that fan reception had something to do with it as well considering how mad people got over many of the characters he did adapt. Better to just make new characters if fans are just going to be pissed off about every one that you had reimagined.
>>
>>7325308
I don't even think there's a Black Mamba version announced yet right? If they did release it it'd be about 50% taller than the Weijiang one since Black Mamba pretty much have their own scale. The Weijiang one is shorter than my LS-03 and Blackout / Grindor are supposed to be way taller than Optimus in the Bayverse. The Weijiang one looks and feels pretty solid aside from the fact that the gigantic arms are held on by a vertical plastic hinge. Just be careful when moving the arms if you touch it a lot.

Girlfriend got pretty excited about giving me my birthday present, so she decided to do it early. She's a pretty big robots/transformers fan as well, so she was keen to get him out of the box so she could look at his hand articulation. I had absolutely no idea she bought me this, and I'm still pretty buzzed about it.

Not gonna' lie to you guys, this guy is by far one of the nicest figures I've held, and it kicks the shit out of the official release, and quakewave. Everything about it is pretty amazing. Just a shame that the inner plastic part of the box got smashed to shit in transit.

Definitely will when I get chance. I also want to make an accessory for his back pack so I can stick a battery pack with some LED's in there so he can glow from the midsection outwards as well. I really dislike the bay formers, over complicated design thats hard for the eye to follow and a story thats only good for explosions/special effects and very shitty written caracters with the same storyline structure.

Least in knights bumble bee, its a nice blend on the gen1 designs, and the characters for them were there instead of them being like some npc, plus the added bonus of the kids actually written in a more natural way instead of bimbo/matcho with love interests forced.

Its why im excite that were getting reissues/remakes of some of the toy lines. Give that lil bit of extra hope and a few extra things to look forward to

I'm a sucker for "armor up" bots, which I why I also have Power Baser and Battle Sentinel. Heck, even my first 3P purchase was for FansProject's Nemesis Trailer. I'm still considering if I don't just pick this set up from BBTS for my ClassSix Prime to spruce him up some.

I can understand being fine with waiting though because of other releases. I've got Battle Buffalo eventually making his way out of Japan, and after that I've got my eye on Double Evil.

And I didn't even check to see this recent post from Fans Hobby...
>>

Ah yes, the thing that I would want so I can then armor up my Striker Noir. I'll be hard pressed to pass him up, and may just have to bunch him together with Double Evil.

>december completely destroyed my bank account
Hopefully he's not like noir himself where they only make a few and they're impossible to find a month later. I'm also just a tiny bit skeptical about the combined mode but at least this way I'll get to see how well it works first.
>>

Shit's been on preorder for months now. Don't be that guy complaining like you missed it or were wronged when it's gone.

Please, no, I've already bought the G1 Decepticons over and over; I really don't need them again with slightly more movie greebles. I like the movie decepticons being their own thing.

Is their a huge difference in Roddy and Roddy prime bot mode? Thinking about getting hoodlum and using his RP face to make him my prime. Just wish they'd included his rifle as well.
>>
>>7326694
Height the biggest thing, but there's tonal differences and some detailing. but its your collection, so do as you please. I myself will probably have him as Rodimus, too.

it's genuine horse-shit

epacket is cheap as fuck. but they only let you select 2 day fedex. I tried their other listed site with the bonus parts but same shit there.

really might just order from bigbad or tfsource but i love star saber way too much

anyone else jump on Planet X Perceptor for 40 bucks shipped? preordered and got delivered today - it's actually not that bad - might use it for my MP perceptor because fuck fans toys for not re-releasing i
definitely would never pay 100 for it, but 40 to my door 100% worth it.
>>
>>7326738
I was actually really on the fence about him. Ended up deciding he'd be nice for my wreckers shelf, but I didn't really NEED need him, you know?

Also I didn't realize he was MP scaled, totally thought he was chug. So maybe it's for the best anyway.

I paid around retail which I would not recommend him at. $30 - $40? That's doable.

He's not the most intricate or really that interesting of a figure. The transformation is more like going through the motions of the bare basics with the flip in hands, panel flip to unlock and compress legs, and then you sort of just contort the limbs into a enough of a brick that slapping a poorly secured cannon on top fudges a tank like visage. He's a string bean and not a beefbot like his game counterpart but my biggest gripe is that his leg thrusters don't at least suck in to the leg like the game model.

On the flip side he has a good amount of articulation and his weapons are fucking awesome. He's perfect to fiddle and play with. I'm not sure why they ever picked that design to go with when they still had the big fish to fry, but I'm glad they did something off the beaten path.

Now if only those other seekers can fall in price. BBTS has the Storm duo for about $60, but I wanted to see Thundercracker and Skywarp fall to about that amount too.

That's Kirafag and he's been doing this shit for months, among other things.

Initially he was spamming his screencaps of KiraKira's cringe posts in every new /tfg/ for (You)s, then everyone caught onto his pattern, called out his obsession, and told him to fuck off. He got asshurt and decided to spam harder. The mods started deleting his posts, so then he began making bait thread generals to replace the current thread before it could even hit the bump limit, telling people they couldn't discuss the cartoons, comics, and so on in on /toy/. Legitimate generals started being made and used to ignore his crap, so then he made an "outrage" thread over all of the extra generals to try and get Transformers banned entirely. The mods caught on and he went back to spamming his garbage again. Now here we are. The fucker is Greg-tier pathetic and deserves the humiliation.
>>
>>7327080
Ah gotcha, was looking at the shipping times and was curious. Thanks anon.
>>
>>7323535
fucking finally
>>
>>7327069
Yeah. Pricewise, I think it's kind of understandable though. The printing process for that thing probably takes forever with how complex it is and the number of pieces there are that they showed. On top of that the finished product looks like it's cleaned up and carefully and slowly painted by actual hobby enthusiasts. One figure alone probably takes a hell of a long time to fully complete. Finished professionally built custom Gunpla go for around the same price and people actually buy it.

Still though, yeah the cost is damn high.

Hey anons, I just got pic related as my first Transformer in years, and while he's fun, there's also some pretty underwhelming bits, so I was wondering if there were any third party upgrades available.

Also, while I'm here, what's a 3p shop that doesn't have disgustingly expensive shipping to Australia? I did some digging online and saw robotoybase suggested but there wasn't much I could find and I wanted some opinions.
>>
>>7327193
I don't think PotP Rodimus has any upgrade replacements made or in the works. There's a good looking 3P Hot Rod coming out if it interests you at all though. (Fanstoys Hoodlum)

As for aus shops, I don't think there's many options. I want to say I remember there being some small aus shop or facebook group, but considering the only reason I remember them is because of some horror stories about paid orders going unfulfilled and people just getting fucked out of their money, it may be for the best I don't remember.

If you can get a good shipping rate from Robotoybase though then they're pretty good to use.
>>
>>7327193
Shockwave Labs has 3D printed articulated hands and guns. There's also other 3D printed stuff on shapeways.

Most aussies seem to be using TaoBao for 3Ps these days, especially for stuff by China-based companies. It's a platform for domestic China but shipping is available through forwarding services. The official forwarding service starts from 10 AUD for the 1st kg. You'll need to google yourself on how to use it, it's too complicated to explain it here.
>>
>>7326852
Ravage and Transmutate from Beast Wars, Vector Prime from Cybertron, but much fancier than the actual 3d model.
>>
>>7327038
she's from Beast Machines lad, everyone and everything in that show is Literally who now. None of the designs were recognizable as the characters they were meant to be, the toy line barely looked like the show (come on... look at fuckin Tankor). Botanica would be a cool figure to get, but I don't even know if the average transformers fan knows that series even exists these days.

He's terrible in combined mode and there's an upgrade kit to fix those issues - but no way in hell am I paying $300 for the figures, and additional 50-100 for the kit. The individual bots are okay.
>>
How are the TFC Aerialbot limbs? I know their SIlverbolt is a piece of shit but the limb bots actually look kinda cool. I sorta want to get them and either make/acquire adapters to combine them with CW Silverbolt or else customize them into Seekers with different alt modes.
