>>7277500>Barricade has been announced. You'd think he would have been in the first dozen the way they've been fellating him lately.
>>7277502They don't really seem to be going in any particular order with releases, considering how they still haven't completed the Movie 1 cast.
>>7277500Ah man, doesn't look like they'll be using the last toy's engineering if those arms are anything to go by. I guess shrinking the mold is a bit out of the question, especially with how all those small parts would easily snap off with things like the hands attaching to the wheels.>And if the other day's leaks were true, there's going to be a SS KSI Boss, which could be used as the basis for a SS Nitro Zeus.Isn't Cogman and Drift using the TLK molds with updated paint apps? >>7277501the trailer where you see him explode should explain why

>>7277592double joint knees and ball joints at the ankles are a true rarity for deluxes.i think i will get it.
>>7277571She's got a bit of ankle tilt but it's a little too loose to make her keep on glidin'. She's pretty good though, I like her.

>>7277599That is one lanky boy holy shit
>>7277597Her ankles can tilt inwards, as well as forwards and back, but they aren't ball joints. Also, and I just discovered this, but the wheels on her legs can come off, wheel well and headlights all. It's not glued in or anything, it's just sort of tabbed in. I'd kind of like to see her get retooled into another character like Nautica, the easily removed parts kind of suggest it could work.
>>7277602Together, yeah, but her shin-kibble sometimes hits the ground before her soles at some angles. Trying to get her to balance on one foot is difficult, but not impossible apparently since the anon above my post managed it where I failed.
>>7277607Meant for>>7277601>>7277606>the wheels on her legs can come offCan you show the thread? I'm afraid to start wrenching on mine.
>>7277613Basically that raised tab and the dark slot on her leg. One came off easy, the other one is holding steady and I don't want to get ahead of myself. Just saying, it's there. Could easily replace the car wheel with a gun or a thruster for a 'jet' mode. Mostly I just want more fembot combiners.

>>7277622>>7277621Weird, sounds like you just got a naturally loose one or something, shit seems pretty tight on mine. I might try to stick something non-metallic and narrow in the gap and gently see if that eases the bits off, but if there's no movement I'm not risking a break.

>>7277805The hinge over the cockpit will 100% break, but it still functions after the hinge cracks. Outside of that, I like him, usually animal modes are pretty non-expressive but he's got more range than the average imo.
>>7277807the animal mode being nicer than usual is part of why i'm slowly getting convinced.what is that about the hinge though.
>>7277705This is assuming tf fags won't consider other toylines to sate their plastic addictipn
>>7277811See that bit of exposed pin in the hinge there? Some anons have had it worse on theirs. Mine broke, as you can see, but the functionality of the cockpit isnt hindered any.
>>7277814oh fuck, so how needed is it for transformation?is it there a way to minimize stress on it?
>>7277817Not really, and no, in that order. It WILL crack, but the hinge continues operating normally despite it, at least on mine. The transformation involves lifting up the cockpit cover and folding part of the torso in or out, then placing the cover back down. To my knowledge this has been a widespread problem on all of this figure, but I have yet to see an anon who had the entire cockpit cover come off the toy because of it.
>>7277823So. it doesn't snap off.what does happen then? it affects the functionality or does it only look ugly?
>>7277826The plastic around the hinge on the outside will crack and break off, but the pin will continue to function normally, pic related. Mine is broken but other than the missing bit of plastic you wouldn't be able to really tell, it still does the same thing.
>>7277814Got 2 of those back then when they were released and they're still good as new, it happens, but not to all of them.
>>7277834Just to clarify, here's what I meant by the "outside". These are the vulnerable parts of the hinge.>>7277840That makes me wonder what caused this error in the first place, and why we're not affected by it uniformly.
>>7277840well, tfwiki says it's an issue on the molding, and that nearly everyone has the issue.so you just lucked out twice.at least that explains why it's on sale.
>>7277845>at least that explains why it's on sale.Wasn't he a last wave repackage? but if you "don't feel lucky" theres always the OS KO, they used different plastics.
>>7277851I mean, 11 bucks is a nice offer, better than warrior twinferno at least.and that weirdo has nice articulation, i'll rather test my luck if the only thing i get by losing is some scrapped plastic, i transformed CW starscream so i should be fine
>>7277853Like I said, if you get Weirdwolf you'll lose a 'c' of plastic from one or both of the hinges, but you'll otherwise be fine.

>>7277860The leak actually says "Ai" and then the rest of the text is cut off. Could be RID Ai, could be some special version of Aimless. Shit, it could be Aileron (which would kinda fit with the IDW G2 Sideswipe hanging around with her and Arcee).
>>7277864The chinese says Aimless. Doesn't mention the G2 version of Sideswipe though. Could be vanilla WFC Sideswipe and vanilla WFC Aimless for all we know.
>>7277871>Doesn't mention the G2 version of Sideswipe though. The Firestormers were a G2 team led by Sideswipe.
>>7277872Sure, and War for Cybertron is a 2010 videogame featuring original designs by High Moon studios. Names alone don't mean much.

>>7277876Feels like an odd choice to use that team name and pick that bot, and then not give him the colour scheme he had when in that team.
>>7277882Can't be more odd than slapping the Beast Wars logo on the TR Siege on Cybertron giftset just so their trademark rights won't lapse. I mean, there's RID, Cyberverse too. Not the first time Hasbro grabbed a random name. Just sayin, don't keep your hopes up.
>>7277863>literally nobody on suicide watchOkay?
>>7277724i'm just happy thewfags don't post pics of thew. ewww. that would make them worse than kirafags.
>>7277896Not that anon, but it's almost definitely G2 Sideswipe. I think it's way less likely that it's just some random standard shit in a boxset.
>>7277904HMMM now that I think about it, didn't anon speculate that it was black plastic under all that red paint on WFC Sideswipe? So essentially you have 80% a G2 Sideswipe already with the W1 retail release
>>7277475Cool Siege Prime drawing, anon.
This guy came in the mail today, he's a pretty fun fidget toy for work.
>>7277910He scales well with the Diaclone suits and matches the Space Marine colored ones. Maybe i'll take a pic later when I'm home.
>>7277915I just need to get some decent limbs for his combined mode. Might modify and paint some cheap drones. Mobine set never because fucking pricey.
>>7277962Holy shit, that's some of the worst CGI I've ever seen in these movies.
>>7277962They couldn't even touch up John Cena's bald patch
>>7277968Looks fine for a 100m dollar budget TF movie
Wonder if they would do alternate figs in the future like>Shatter as a jet>Dropkick as a carDropkick would probably have a better looking robot mode if the toy was a car instead
>>7277976I want triple changers
>>7277977Actual triple changers of these would be near impossible to engineer, me thinks.
>>7277977Same.I've got this theory that Hasbro doesn't do movie triple changers because of how difficult the licensing might be.So, Shatter for instance needs to pass the standards Chevrolet has for their merchandise in order to use her Camaro mode (which might be difficult with the Harrier Jet parts) but also needs to be licensed by Boeing in order to use the Harrier Jet parts. And then you've got to get those two companies to agree to allow the other company to get a share of the profits on top of that.
>>7277981* that should read Chrysler and Plymouth GTX. My bad.
>>7277981Personally I want Knightformers Megatron to be a triple changer similar to this. Since Megatron needs to be able to fly, but I want him to keep the originality of him being associated with cannons and tanks.
>>7277981Would be easier if they had them keep their flying cybertronian alt-modes.
>>7277826Can you fucking read the guy says in all his posts it still fucking works, just buy the fuckin thing it's not even an issue people blow it way out of proportion.
toy motherfucking when
>Hiding his head behind the packagingWhy is bonecrusher so kawaii
>>7277976They did separate figures for Drift so it seems reasonable they'd do it for these guys.
>>7277976>>7277977>>7277978>>7277981They aren't doing triple-changers as SS or the Bee-line because it's a money sink for deluxe-class toys. The engineering alone for one alt mode is nightmare enough without having to worry about TWO license-accurate forms. Splitting them up makes it easier on the designers, licensors, and Hasbro's marketing.
>>7277871>Could be vanilla WFC Sideswipe and vanilla WFC Aimless for all we know.that would piss me off so much. G2 Sideswipe deco i need that in my life.
>>7278058He's afraid of the face collector.
>>7278108I keep saying that if IDW reboots the Transformers comics, they need to go full, crazy-go-nuts G2 madness. Have Tom Scioli write it and Kei Zama be the primary artist.
Well I am 120% won over by this line. Although getting them all for $35 doesn't hurt my opinion. Even Sideswipe who I didn't plan to get is a winner. His transformation is easy, but not simple and he compacts down so tidily. Hound's legs basically do the same as TR Kup, which I love. Cog is a pile of great weapons. And Skytread's only real issue is the length of the handle on his tank barrel; I even got his turret halves to peg in correctly with little issue. My only other complaint so far is that Hound and Sideswipe are a bit small.
>>7277962>>7277975>>7277976>>7278058>>7278114Did i miss something?why nobody mocks and makes fun of bay-faggot?get out of this thread
>>7278051Is he fighting against TryptiKhan?
>>7278137People have been making fun of Bay since 2007. Earlier, if you count his non Transformer work.
>>7278132I'm with ya, man. I picked up Cog, Flywheels and a few micromasters during the HTS sale earlier this week. I've only played around with Cog so far, but the production quality on him is absurdly good, especially compared to the shitshow that the last few lines have been. The plastic quality is great, the QC is solid, and I forgot how fucking much I missed ankle joints. The paint apps are all great, and there's plenty of detail. It's almost hard to believe Cog came from the same company that gave us Prime Wars. I'm hoping to be just as pleasantly surprised by Flywheels and whatever else I decide to buy from future waves.
>>7278137Because it's just done, over.Everyone agrees the movies aren't good. Some people like the designs standalone and some of the toys are good. That's pretty much it. Anything beyond that and you're just being a pathetic sadboy trying to be edgy on a siberian water polo board about toys.
>>7278137Bumblebee is directed by Travis Knight not Bay. Knight will take the producer and creative consultant after this film for the franchise while Bay will completely leave the producer chair. Its over for Bay.
>>7278051That Fort looks like Playstation Optimus.>>7278127Tiberious Kirk, guess the enterprise captain is wearing cerebros exosuit.
>>7277988Yeah,Megatron isnt in the movie. Not even mentioned. Probably to use him better for future movies. If Bee is a successs the Optimus Prime film will release in 2021. It even has a director,it just needs to be greenlit if Bee succeeeds. A scifi director who did a lot of cgi settings. The warcraft director or tron legacy director could be a possibility. The Prime film is said to take off from Bee movie and show Prime's mission on Earth while showing his origin story on Cybertron and the war for cybertron.
>>7278051Take it a step further.

>>7278169>voiced Fort Max in the Prime WarsAll 3 lines, that whole project was a waste of potential.
>>7278160I keep seeing Playstation Prime there.
>>7278165>even as a mini-series.This seems far more likely, since Zama seems to have an issue meeting deadlines, and Scioli mostly works on mini-series anyway
>>7278149The movies are great. Sorry you're a deluded manchild denying yourself enjoyment, anon.
This is so silly; I love it. The line gimmick just being connectable guns and lots of 5mm ports is a great idea. And I don't know why the instructions tell you use Cog's legs as platform shoes when instead you could turn them into rocket treadskates.
>>7278228>And I don't know why the instructions tell you use Cog's legs as platform shoes when instead you could turn them into rocket treadskates.This. The underside of his feet are so fucking gorgeously detailed with the mix of blue, gunmetal and those little yellow paint apps. Seriously, yellow paint apps on the bottom of his feet for no reason, and when there isn't a spot of yellow paint on him otherwise. That's the kind of detail and quality that has been completely absent from Hasbro releases for the past 5+ years.
>>7278235>getting this butthurt about the voice acting for a half-assed toy commercialYikes.
>>7278243nah mate, the voice acting should matter for whatever project it's being used. Cyberverse's voice direction is really spotty at times, a lot of the casting isn't that fitting or sounds too amateurish. It sucks cause most Transformers shows up until now, the voice work was always at least top notch or fun and memorable sounding.
>>7278228Alternatively: Spider-HoundAlso, Lionizer fits super well on Sideswipe's wrist. He even clicks into the notch on the back of forearm for extra stability; I can pick him up by the blade it's so steady.
>>7278248>nah mate, the voice acting should matter for whatever project it's being used.Voice acting should only matter when the project has some artistic integrity in the first place, which it fucking didn't. >>7278321It is all painted and it looks really good, honestly. I really can't find anywhere where I can tell what the actual color of the plastic is though and you're going to have a hell of a time stripping it since it's painted inside and out.Oh wait as I'm writing this there's a scuff on his leg peg. It looks like it might be red plastic.
>>7278321It's fucking black. Like they should have just done G2 Sideswipe.
>>7278326>red plastic painted red
>>7278329Eh, red plastic frequently looks shitty and it makes it hard to notice scuffs. If that's the case, then I'm for it.
>>7278334Yeah, Takara had to cast their Hot Rod and Technobots in a reddish burgundy so they wouldn't look like shit.
Remember that Optimus Prime spin off movie? On Tfw2005 it was confirmed that Paramount will have Joseph Kosinki(Tron:Legacy,Oblivion) to direct the film with Travis Knight as producer and creative consultant(Bay leaves the producer chair). Are you excited? The film is said to tell the origin of Prime from beginning to the civil war on Cybertron while continuing the mission on Earth from Bumblebee in this new timeline. It all depends on Bee's box office. Lets hope it succeeds.
>>7278273Wait it's out tomorrow? I haven't been to a theater in like 3 years but kinda curious to see it. Experience tells me I should pirate it first obviously, but seeing it on a big screen might be cool.
The only people who don't like the movies are sheep who are too stupid to understand them and are more interested in remaining with the herd than thinking for themselves. It's sad.>>7278355They were all cool to see on the big screen. Bumblebee offers nothing the others didn't. If anything it will be far less 'cool' because of the reduced scale of action and smaller cast. Baaaah baaaaah baaaah.
>>7278355Its a special screening for one night only because they need the good word of mouth. Thats what Bee has. Paramount's new chair team did a good job since they took the company this year with A Quiet Place and M:I:Fallout so if Bee succeeds then this was a good year for them. Good quality films from now on. The film releases on 21 december. I think you can still buy tickets but its only US and Canada. Tommorow the review embargo also lifts.
>>7278359>Tommorow the review embargo also lifts.Well that'll be good at least. Still definitely gonna not pay to see it the first time, but I'll give it a second, paid view if it's any good. I definitely want a good movie out of this godforsaken series, but I don't know how to hope anymore so we'll just have to see how it goes.
>>7278329>implying that's a bad thingIt's literally the best way to make a good looking toy. You get the extra luster and detail that paint brings out of sculpted surfaces, and if it scratches, you won't notice it as much.Takara's MP-10 was red plastic painted red, which is why it looks so much nicer and more like a "collectible" than Hasbro's in hand.

>>7278387>even Monsterarts are starting to look more worth it.You’re joking. 90 bucks for a Mechagodzilla that doesn’t even look as good as the vinyl and is much smaller. I’ll passAny hope for kaiju toys died the day revoltech stopped making them
>>7278501Yarp. I've been playing with him since yesterday and I'm pretty impressed. This is one of those figures that literally everyone should buy. My only complaints are that some of the 5mm pegs are a bit loose depending on where you try to plug them in. Mine has a hard time trying to hold his own guns, in particular. I'm wary about using futureshine, because they fit fine in other ports, and other weapons fit fine in his hand,
Holy shit Deluxes are 20 dollars now?
Guys I just checked target, siege deluxes are 80 bucks..... it’s over, time to go 3rd party....
>>7278553The guns are apparently a wide spread thing. Mine are like that and I've read that before.
>>7278558They're $8 if you got them off HTS with a 20% off coupon. :^)
>>7278553I just use masking tape for joints because it's easier. Or shrink wrap tubing if it's a really big difference. You can even use shrink tubes to convert 3mm joints to 5mm if you use enough.
>>7278461who are the other two bots?
>>7278567Yeah, it's really not a big deal, and they fit fine in just about every other plug. The right leg joint on mine is also a bit loose and sometimes pops out while posing, but only because his other joints are so tight. I imagine it might loosen up with time.>>7278577Masking tape would add way more thickness to the 5mm port than even the heaviest coating of futureshine. The guns aren't that loose.
>>7278581Looks like Cerebros (Fort Max head), Cog, and Perfect Effect Warden (3P Fort Max head).
>>7278585How are the guns even loose then if 1 layer of tape is too much?
never owned a POTP leader, worth it for 43$?
>>7278597I feel like you don't understand how thick one layer of masking tape is, and conversely do not understand how slight of a difference in diameter it takes in order to lose friction in a 5mm peg. Unless you think masking tape is another kind of tape than it actually is.
>>7277871>GreenlightThey are really trying to stretch the Chromia/Moonracer/Novastar mold.
>>7278483Flak is my absolute favorite from the micro masters. >>7278329In hand, that extra level of paint works wonders. Seriously this Sideswipe is pretty damn impressive in almost every regard, and I hate to be the TF I buy afterwards
>>7278603Yeah he’s a pretty great figure in his own right. Gimmicks neat but it can be a panel mess if you aren’t careful
>>7278352I don't think it has good chances. It has way too much competition from other movies.
>>7278425Don’t have any but from Twitter they are about ye big.
>>7278608I know the Female Autobots were all just palette swaps of each other, but part of me thinks Hasbro is just fucking lazy.>fans want more fembots>release the same mold over and over againI guarantee they'll do an Arcee and Nightbird with this mold too.Because making fembots have unique body types like the male bots is just too much effort.
>>7278641I wish they at least used the prime Arcee mold like they used for the first Chromia. I am just not a fan of the combiner mold.
>>7278645Yeah. I mean, I really like my Moonracer, but one version of that mold is more than enough for me.
>>7278603I nabbed him recently, and while I really dig him, I got him for $25 off Amazon, and I can't say whether he's worth $40+.My version the legs don't clip together really well in trailer mode, and the partsforming arms don't lock in well(unless I'm just doing it wrong). That said, I didn't buy him for Death Winnebago mode, The combined robot mode and Nemesis Hotrod were what I wanted out of it.
>>7278648I'd still like to get Novastar, but she's pretty low on my priority list. I definitely don't need her thrice.
>>7278614Did i fuck up not getting the carbot set? Because I only got the two I did to pad out shipping, but they're much better than I expected.
>>7278649and i thought finding it for 43$ with free shipping was cheap, oh well.are you sure that's only shoddy QC on yours?
>>7278652>>7278648I got both Nova and Moonracer. I got them because, ever the optimist, I assumed that either Hasbro or Takara would have completed the fembot combiner limbs for Elita One with Greenlight and Chromia, even if they were all the same mold. God knows anyone who actually survived the combiner lines is used to buying the same mold multiple times.I'm fine with having them, but I have less than zero interest in a new Chromia, especially since they 're using the horribly compromised combiner mold without even including the combiner gimmick.
>>7278641I guess apart from Nautica, who is just Blurr retooled, I can’t think of any exceptions. I would appreciate a good Strika.
>>7278672And TR Arcee was also a Blurr/Brainstorm retool. It's just really unimaginative. At least TR Windblade had more retooling.
>>7278654Honestly I’d say the Carbots were the weakest out of the micro master packs. Cheap plastic and really lazy weapons mode. The Jet set was the Best all round, both robots having decent alt modes and a decent weapon formThe artillery guys are like, both sides at once. Flak is near perfect, and the other guy who isn’t flak is kinda garbage.
>>7278658Mostly it's very minor tolerances... lots of fiddly ass tab-and-slottery that don't quite want to lock in.Like the partsforming arms don't want stay clipped together. either one will sit flush and fine in their bay on the trailer, but the tab between them won't clip and stay and it pushes them apart and put pressure on the rest of the arm.The trailer forming legs see to be locking in better now, but one of the feet won't pet into it's place. And somehow, despite not having a problem when I did it the first time, i can't seem to get Nemesis Hot Rod's rear spoiler plat to actually lock into his legs anymore. Like the tabs and and slots are all there but it just won't tab in. It's less like there's a problem there so much as there's some little trick to doing it that I instinctively did right the first time and now can't figure out how to do every time.
>>7278681TR arcee is a straight up repaint.
>>7278694No. It's got a few retools.
>>7278683That's mixed news, Flak is the only one of the new Micromasters I have the original for, so he's the one I was most excited for. Looks like his retarded pack-mate will be along for the ride if I want to get him.I'm still hoping they do my nigga Tote in this line. Everyone needs Tote.
Picked up Bombshock and his Drones now. They're pretty fun. I think the Drone gimmick is neat, just badly executed.
Gotta say, I’m am not regretting buying the two Lionizers.
>>7278731Nice, Bombshock is one of the better ones imo, not the best combined mode but decent enough for my tastes. And yeah, if the drones had eschewed the automorph gimmick in exchange for a simple hinge in the center of each, we could have had more articulate PCCs. I'm sure there was a better way to do it, but oh well. I'm kinda surprised only one 3P drone-pack got made, but then again the demand for PCC wasn't the highest as it was pretty much a filler-line.Glad you're enjoying him anon.
>Still no siege on US Amazon aside from scalperswhywhywhyI just want flywheels fuck
>>7278734Him and Heavytread were fun little cheapo buys and they're small so they don't take up a lot of room for collecting.I still would like to get the Mobine set, I'm not a huge fan of that WWII drone set that exists. I don't really understand why they chose to do WWII vehicles for a modern vehicle torso?
>>7278729is it bad i think Brainstorm is the worst retool of the group.
Yes, I'm back in town, my first fembot is moonracer and I'm happy to have her, she looks so sexy with those lips, I cannot wait for Chromia
>>7278754I'm still not sure why they did him after the cooler, bigger one came out only a few years ago.Granted, they hadn't gotten the new headmaster gimmick down quite yet, but I love everything about him. There was just no incentive to get another one a couple years later.
>>7278754Nah, the mold was clearly designed as Blurr, even Nautica looks better than Brainstorm.
>>7278764Too many complained that the T30 one looked too much like those awful comics.
Triggerhappy probably would have been a better mold for Brainstorm.
>>7278764To scale with the rest of main headmasters and make him compatible for headswaps, a gimmick used on both cartoons, dlx brainstorm isn't that bad, but they should've used TH mold as the base.
Got Dropkicks deluxe.Hes kinda shit. Masterpiece when.
>>7278729>>7278766Did blurr vehicle mode really look ambiguous enough to make hasbro reuse it 3times?
>>7278774It was probably the only one Hasbro thought that could be cheaply used for female characters, which explains like half of these uses. And Blurr -> Brainstorm was just part of the normal remold cycle
>>7278764I wanted the first one, but the wings look overdesigned to hell and back
>>7278773If they do a masterpiece, I hope he's a car instead
>>7278780>wings look overdesignedHuh? They're just a pair of flat panels though.
>>7278764Because the one on the right looks like shit.
>>7278795It's loads better than Blurstorm, but to each his own.
>>7278781Same, I just would like hints of the heli mode like the robot has.
>>7277863Been saying that for months. Bayfags refused to listen. LOL
>>7278483>The combined weapon modes are kinda stupidI wasn't sold on the Air Strike Broadsword until I gave it to Krok. He makes it look so stylish it doesn't matter how dumb of a weapon it actually is. Might look better holding it as a shield, actually.
>>7278839I kinda like that a lot actually, though I always loved the Star Saber and this is like 2/3rds of one.
>>7278839I also picked up the sports car patrol. I had G1 Swindler so I was excited for an update, but the new one isn't nearly as satisfying. Very clumsy and annoying transformation, his tall shoulders don't help anything, and he's really back-heavy. His alt mode is just different enough from a Delorean to make it no fun at all. I will probably make it a point to lose him.Roadhandler, meanwhile, is a chunky little funbucket. He has a lot of nice paint apps in his bot mode, his transformation is what Swindler's wishes it were, and he's a dandy posability upgrade from G1, for sure. Despite how much I was worried about his legs falling off, mine have actually yet to do so. This feels like the kind of guy I would have carried around in my pocket EVERYWHERE as a kid. Their weapon mode is so terrible I didn't even try to achieve it. Kind of wish they had 3.. fists, though. I guess they're a skosh too small for that.
>>7278848*3mm fists, derp.
>>7278839They're dumb, but I like all the weapons.
>>7278863The car patrol really does look better as single guns.
>>7278863I didn't get the battle patrol. I felt like spending $30 at once on little guys was too much. They look neat and I'll probably eventually get them. Shame I can't get the effects parts separately, I really have no desire for any of the current battlemasters, especially since I already have most of the Takara targetmasters.
How do people not understand that without fake chests, cockpits, or fudging a mode -- that the engineering of a design is literally impossible? These troglodytes asking for 100% accurate MPs or triplechangers of the Bee movie bots should be forced to sit through a 6 month course on spacial reasoning.
>>7278878>designs that can never work as toys without compromising heavilySeems like an oversight when making toy-selling movies famalama.
>>7278863The effect parts are the main reason why i want them, they change everything.it actually makes most of them look halfway convincing as weapons.and i can't wait to see what 3p ends up doing with the idea
>>7278878No one is asking for triple changers, just better quality.
>>7278878>- that the engineering of a design is literally impossible? The designer clearly just isn't trying hard enough or has such a restrictive budget that fake--out parts are the only option within that price range. Nothing's completely impossible m8 you're the one that needs to be sent on a 6 month course.
>>7278880I ain't the retard at Hasbro designing for the cartoon and movies first and not the other way around.>>7278882Scroll up.>>7278884>It's totally possible, you just have to believe in yourself and your friends and the heart of the cards will guide us to break physical impossibilities! That's how fucking stupid you sound.
>>7278878Just make the toy bigger so we can fit more engineering.
>>7278886Wow, it must be someones bed time because you are cranky.
>>7278878It's been a problem with the franchise since the beginning. The stylizing off of the toys to the level that they no longer resemble the toys the animation is based on.The attempt to make 3D and toys match, but it was still early in 3D animation, and toy design cut a lot of corners.Live action movies? Big budget? Hey, here is the opportunity to put seamless CGI together with toy engineering and make magic. Maybe legion class "okay" looking, deluxe class looks mostly like on screen, voyager class should be WOW they nearly did it! (i.e. a billion polygon CGI model will never make an exact transforming toy, but they can work the CGI to transform and proportion so the toys can match in a way that doesn't simply scream "lobotomized microencephalic toy sculptor").Instead, we get CGI that fakes transformations differently in each scene, too much of the aesthetic just bundled shards of metal, and the toys "oh the head is about right" and the "went way out on engineering" getting complex but no creative, and most of us are left with a disappointed feeling on how it all works out. Now HasTak are producing stuff that is less uninspired and more hollow each year. The Studio line is kinda embarrassing. The masterpiece line was supposed to represent "great engineering and ultimate design" right, from horribly proportioned Bumblebee to attempting to capture the 80's cartoon style in a "premium" line? I still like MP-01 the best, it has the fewest flaws.
>>7278899That was supposed to be"but not creative" and "less inspired"
>>7278154I'm so fucking down for this sweet, hot hobo
>>7278732>>7278839>>7278863Man, I liked armada because of small transformers to take in your pocket. My favorites though were the ones that doubled up as weapons. I’m excited for Cog, the cooler weapon minicons and whatever Siege has to offer. Favorite minicon weapon/arms micron?
>>7278886>I have absolutely no experience with good quality transforming toys outside of walmart-tier trashThis is how fucking stupid you sound
>>7278932Three Optimus MPs and a $370 price point and they still haven't gotten it right. You sure showed me, dude.
>>7278195spotted the alt-rightist who doesn't even watch the show but women hurt his feelingsThe show sucks, sure, but like Disney Star Wars 95% of the whiners are Trumpets who don't watch it but are offended by it merely existing. The same assholes who harassed Rose Tico's actor off social media, yet would scream a hissy fit if people did the same to Michael Racist Bay!
>>7278926>Favorite minicon weaponIt's more recent, but this little brown Chop Shop that came with TG28 Megatron is legit one of my favorite Decepticons. He squeezes wonderfully in with any team, looks solid in all 3 modes, and even has a bonus minesweeper mode to peg on the front of the Megatron he came with. And all of this on only 1 joint of transformation.
>>7278283>transforms from Klingon ship to G1 Trypticon with zero Klingon ship parts whatsoeverSeriously, I know the 80s cartoon was generally crappy animated but IDW clearly no longer gives a shit if they try. Eh, they'll probably be out of business within 2 years and know it, and are phoning in whatever now especially since Hasbro made them appeal to the SJWs in the first place.
>>7278372>I want my toy soaked in paint because plastic makes it look like a toyYeah okay. Enjoy needless paint slop, eventual chips and factory errors so you can be in denial over owning toys.
>>7278950>he does realize paint makes toys look objectively better than bare plastic because Hasbro/Takara are usually too cheap to do paint rightBut when they do, it's glorious. I hope I don't catch your case of shit taste.
Uber Eats screwed up my order (barely, they just forgot my fries) so they gave me a full refund. Then I used that money to buy Transmetal Terrorsaur off ebay.Today has been a good day.
I saw Bumblebee yesterday.....I liked it!It was fun and decepticons were treated as characters for once.
>>7277775Super Pants Prime! But now you can use him with these new Micromaster guys.
So we get a Optimus Prime movie? Who's director?
>>7278984Joseph Kosinki(Tron Legacy)
>>7278448>Cog helps Hound get things off the top shelf at Wal Mart
>>7278948While the transformation is clearly cheaty, it does have SOME ship parts
relax, I cut your hair for you
>>7278490better than that stupid half transforming thing
>>7278989>>7278992Like Samson, you've taken his power.
>>7278984You mean Megatron movie right?
Toy whenits been 7 years already
>>7279012Never.I just want the Arcee triplets.
>>7279012>8 wheels in vehicle mode>12 wheels in robot modeBayformers everyone.
>>7278839I invert the lets on the lower guy so his feet stick out, makes it look more fantasy blady.
Guys I think we dont get a blitzwing toy because he isn't named in the movie.
>>7279040Like alot of transformersI don't remember them even saying Crosshairs name....of even him transforming.
>>7279012>>7279027Not until we get the RotF appliance bots
>>7279044>Dispensor, Xbox bot and Ejector 3-packMake it so.
>>7279041They did say Crosshairs...I think in TLK. He even transformed there. I think in AoE too.
Why is every generations Spundwave figure using yellow visor instead of the fucking red one which is canon and appears in all media!!!!!Why? Siege Spundwave uses yellow but artwork has it red...
Bee movie looks fun
>>7279044Sorry, the Botbots have taken that role.
>>7278672You forgot to fold out Ravage's nose
>>7278781I'd be happy with just a car mode studio series.
