this is an exagerration, but he's not worth more than like $350. I got him on sale as a set from BBTS for $270 and thought it was a steal. He's fine as whole, but his leg set up is pretty shitty so you can do much leg posing without modding him (rubber pads on feet, plastic spacers in the knee joints to tighten them, etc).

From the thighs down combined he's iffy, from the waist up he's fantastic. Individual bots are all great however.

The rare gem that is Maketoys Guardia has more articulation than most CHUG figures be they combiners or not. It's a fuckin masterwork that needs a reissue because it was limited as shit for it's first go round.

Poseidon is decent all around honestly, he's just a fucking chunky boy which makes him a little limited in posing due to how thicc he is. Trinity force is good as well as long as you don't mind the explosion of a transformation.

The unique toys combiners have good legs if you don't mind parts forming.
>>
>>7272445
So weird that TW exhausts are getting to American retailers when it's delayed to January in China. Then again they do sell for 1.5x the Chinese price there.
>>
>>7272517
The Yes Model version of Guardia is dope so far, and really cheap/easy to find
>>
>>7271853
I guess I'm on the fence between MS and TFE.

Aside from the fact that I dislike Takara's idea of hyper realistic alt modes and hyper cartoony bot modes, their "just turn it inside out in 200 steps lmao" engineering philosophy, their focus on perfecting proportions at the expense of everything else, the fact that they only care about the front look of figures and even then they're getting lazy with that by having those ugly hinges on Sunstreaker and MP44's chest plainly visible, every redeeming quality about MP44 I can think of is just completely extinguished by the fucking laughable price point.
>>
Any guess at what that stocking stuffer is for TFSource?

Maybe they do now.

Warlord's legs are abysmally poor. Yes that is ancient by today's standards but they're still inexcusably bad.

This still makes me sad, he's a superb figure from an engineering point of view, but whatever went wrong with the diecast batch they used, wew. Hi uk anon here, was thinking of getting TFC ThousandKills, what's the cheapest place for it?

I'd rather I could get him in non-seacon colors, but I see the black repaint is only available with the rest, which I'm not interested in. Also, how big is he?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
>>
>>7273464
Ebay, aliexpress or taobao (have to use a forwarding service) are your only options UKbro. Only the seacon colours were available individually due to the others being a gift set meaning you'll have to suck it up & buy all of them or buy the original color scheme.
>>
>>7273460

I’ll buy that boobied bot just because I keep hearing there’s a lot of butt hurt dykes and virtue signaling homos on social media posting aggressively about it
>>
>>7273464
>Also, how big is he?
He's around MP Carbot size. If you have a Sideswipe or something you'll know what you're getting.

That's just for the main figure, mind you, the tentacles add a LOT of bulk and shelf presence to the figure.
>>
>>7273475
Ah that's great, good size.

What proof do you have? If there is they're literally 1% of the user base and certainly wouldn't be browsing the 3rd party forum. They also don't seem to mind users saying fuck so billing it as a family friendly website it pretty much moot. This boils down to some individuals (who they are I'll leave it to your imagination as not to bog the thread down) got their panties in a bunch seeing those pics and people being interested in the product.

Being the asshats that they are they pitched a fit to the shitty moderation/Admins who sided with them and shut it down and said no talking about it what so ever. That's pretty much what RE/Gaf dose with games that trigger their user base. You can't talk about a video game on a video game forum! You can't talk about transformers on a transformers forum. Like >>7274157 said, a beefy boy. The advantage that he has over Gunfighter is diecast in the hips (not sure why they changed it for the second version). He poses very well, even taking into account the limitations in the shoulders. That's not to say there are some disadvantages. The main one is weaponry -- he only comes with his signature sword. If you want him to have a blaster, you have to buy the separate trailer, which includes a double barreled blaster. Maybe this was the diecast thigh trade-off for Gunfighter, because he includes a sword, as well as a signature blaster and the double barreled blaster as standard. Fans Hobby make a great product, and I know I'm one that's looking forward to how their Overlord finally shapes up.

Couple problems there. Fans Hobby uses a rail-slot system on the inside of the palms for weapon holding. That KFC blaster uses a tab-into-palm connection that won't be compatible. He might be able to hold it somewhat with tension, but it's not going to be secure. Second, Archenemy's chest *does not* open up for Matrix placement like Gunfighter's does. I can post images of what the weapons look like if you want.

here's a pic of what was on the listing - looks like the chest opens up just fine. doesn't look like it's a regular G2 prime that he patined, and the other pics look like it's on a pin-hinge and there's obviously a place for the matrix to sit
>>
>>7274229
Found the listing. Lucky dog. I still need to pick one of these up.
>>
>>7273596
I only have three real critiques of the set as a whole.

1) Remembering where all the individual bits go for each of the five modes on the limb bots is damn near impossible. I have to break out the instructions pretty much any time I want to turn one into something that isn't either bot or beast.

2) The ankle extensions that come with Thousand Kills make the combined mode super unstable and give it a tendency to fall forward.

3) Gun modes are kind of useless since they weigh too much to actually pose Poseidon while holding one without some kind of additional support.

I also can't get the big sword to come apart at a couple of places anymore, the smaller melee weapons essentially being stuck in the top of the hilt. But that might just be a my copy thing.

Still, they display fantastic both as a team and combined
>>
>>7274229
Yeah, it's definitely not supposed to do that. There's even a slip of paper included with it that indicate it's supposed to be sealed shut.

>>7274258
I can go down that list and agree on each point. I can really appreciate the dedication that they put into the limbs to ensure each could do 5 modes, but damn if it doesn't add that extra complexity to the set.
>>
>>7273986

I doubt you'll get anything that looks as good and is transformable, honestly. Not unless it's insanely expensive. Sentinel are a tough act to follow in terms of sculpt, engineering, paint and sheer style.
>>
Rolling Thunder arrived today. What a solid ratchety boy. Only had time to transform him into robot mode and pose him on my shelf. However, first impressions are very solid. He looks great next to Archenemy

I only have 1 toy from their older series, this small scout-sized tractor. It happens to be their most articulated toy in that scale. Articulation wasn't a priority for them. They all come in this glossy finish that makes them look more toyetic. As for the build quality, there's some squeaky joints and stressed pegholes, it's not perfect. I'd say it's slightly below official hastak stuff.

Not sure if they've changed anything for Tobot V. Note that there's a 5+ year gap between the above and Tobot V.

Unfortunately, Young Toy's (cheaper) international releases lag behind by 2 years or so. North America is just now getting their original Tobot range from 2010~2015, the one with shitty-looking, Kia Motors licensed car modes.

FT I wouldn't be surprised if they retail at $100 each themselves, based on Roadking's $180 tag.

Daily reminder that every 3P Arcee has had fucking problems, from ugly arms, a shitty backpack, wheels in the wrong places, awful car modes or being based on IDW's shit designs.

LG-10 is still betetr than them, excluding the bulky backpack, and if WeJiang would stop snorting coke and focusing on Bayformers garbage they might somehow realize they need to release their upscaled Alcee knockoff in LG-10 colors and pack it with BOTH heads(their second head is fucking horrible) so we'll have the perfect Arcee. Why they went with Platinum colors is beyond me, I can only assume crack was involved, and they put out MPP10 in multiple colors yet despite 2 or 3 runs on Alcee have only done one color set?

I've got no problem with that idea, but stuff like this just feels like "DUDE SEX LMAO" instead of something actually interesting like HR Giger's female designs for example.
>>
>>7277315
The design itself isn't even that overtly erotic, its just the posing done for the teaser images. I've seen Marvel Legends that are more overtly sexual. Its a perfectly fine design.

It's got a vagina slit and the concept art has colored areolas.
>>
From the same people that brought you that overly sexy Arcee that was banned from TFW. Pretty sure this is all just vaporware and we'll never see anything more than these renders.
>>

Not gonna lie IF these get made I'm in

>slit

By that logic almost every figure has genitalia sculpted in. I wouldn't think too hard on that. The areola though, I didn't notice that but it's a li'l more condemning.

No, like it starts where the clit would be and ends right before where the anus would be.

Someone post that official comic that came with the takara megatronia. Its far more explicit than a fortunately places seem.

Barring any weird QC or articulation problems, I'd actually buy this one because it'd be the de facto best windblade released. Still a little too much tiddie for my tastes, but yeah, not happening.

is that... a headband?
also atleast arcee is getting a prototype now.

Someone lightened the pic. Its a weird headpiece.

OK, maybe I take that back now that I notice that waist. Getting too far into AGP territory.
>>
>>7277364
Maybe I'll just have to be content with my IF Hunter Moeblade.

Chromia and TFP Arcee when
>>
>>7277373
Man, most people in /tfg/ would be good with generic moe girls with a few robot parts that barely represent the character slapped on them. They eat this up.
>>
>>7276969

Hmm, I don't know. It kind of pains me to wait on MMC, but I think those will be great, while this one is just good. I actually kind of like the really goofy dragon mode on the Planet X, but the robot is just okay, and I think it had a lot of diecast?
>>
>>7277342
>>7277364
Oh god yes, I hope this and Arcee get more than just prototypes I want a whole line of these. Imagine a Sari figure in this style.
>>
>>7277342
I like her giant orbital cannon gun she has I guess?

That's the alt mode numbnuts

almost all FT products are a lot heavier than they look.
