>>63999850Dragons in DxD are the strongest race in the setting afaik. At least some of them can shapeshift into a human form: Ophis at least can, as does the Dragon companion and anyone else that chooses the Dragon origin in the jump document. Dragons can develop strange and powerful abilities: Ddraig has flames capable of burning souls, an ability to penetrate any defense, and the ability to repeatedly double his power, while Albion has an incredibly powerful venom, the ability to reflect attacks, and the power to repeatedly absorb half the power of an enemy. Granted, Ddraig and Albion are two of the strongest dragons in the setting: when they attacked the Three Biblical Factions because their war interrupted them, the Factions had to make a truce to seal them away, and the Sacred Gear containing one of them is what gives the protagonist his strength. Also, dragons have an Outrage mode, becoming stronger if someone angers them enough. The OC dragon companion is this one:>Hidden Dragon - You meet such interesting people, don’t you? This is a Dragon with aqua blue scales, and a matching hair color as well as a fit frame in their human form. They are a young but powerful member of their species, having the fiery ambition associated with their kind and a quiet fury in battle...though they’re calm and taciturn with others, and surprisingly warm towards you. Most peculiar of all, they claim to belong to a bloodline that research suggests never existed or is downright impossible, giving them the benefits of ‘Legacy of the Great War’. They dodge questions about their identity, but are steadfast and loyal to you regardless...and are a surprisingly talented martial artist, giving them the benefits of ‘Senjutsu’ and ‘My Eyes See All!’

Send shockwaves rippling through the entire setting, ones much larger than the more literal shockwaves caused by detonating sakuradite engines. Because seriously. They're awful. Stop making engines out of radioactive fuel-air bombs. You idiots.I also introduced more variety of mecha. Powered armor and hybrid walker/VTOL craft filled the role of urban combat that Knightmare Frames used to, while larger quadrupedal fire support mecha and Gundam-sized humanoids were main battlefield systems. Because I hate how Knightmare Frames look, and so I must make them obsolete.

>>64000935>LusamineMan I just need to know where the perks for maintaining her hairstyle are. Stealing her look for "looking mostly inconspicuous but still notable in mundane settings" purposes.

>>64001143Not sure about companioning her, but definitely waifu her.
>>64001113Pretty well I believe, even if they were a young Solar with low Essence. They'd still have Aura due to jumping the new setting, Solars have a lot of Holy charms that'd be useful against Grimm, their capability to enact social change is huge... I wouldn't be surprised if they could redeem the White Fang, get promoted to the top and stop the fall of Beacon before the second half of Volume 2.
>>64001113Better question: when you start handing out exaltations like candy who deserves what caste? Most of the huntsmen and Ironwoods would be Dawn, Ozpin Zenith, Qrow Night, Glinda Twilight (?) along with the non-asshole maidens (?), and someone needs to be Eclipse...

Why are so many of you "people" stuck in the edgy middle-schooler mindset. It's actually legitimately sad.
reminder that the point of Worm is that no one can ever beat the Endbringers except Scion, and no one can beat Scion, and Scion can canonically destroy trillions of worlds with no effort and he will try to no matter what you do to prevent it. Also the point of Worm is actually that no one can make things better no matter what you do, it's only possible to fix things by causing new problems, and if you want to help people you're the bad guy, so the perks should be nerfed to make sure you can't help anyone, it's only in theme. With this in mind, not only should there be no Endbringer powers in the jump, the Worm update should remove all powers stronger than the S9, so that you cannot possibly threaten them or any other major threat in the setting if it's your first jump. By the way, additional reminder than Worm is a trap jump and there's no possible way to survive it as a first jump, even if it gave you powers as strong as the Triumvirate combined, since Alexandria and Eidolon and Hero and countless others all fucking died, before even considering the unavoidable apocalypse Wildbow has give WoG only was averted because of meta-plot armor, and that the ending realistically should have been Scion killing everyone.

This is especially true in the cynical age we live in, where everyone is keen on ruining your childhood and your day for no other reason than that they too are suffering and can only numb the pain by making others suffer as they do.A lot of them end up here.

>>64001167>>64001272Wrong. RWBY is full of guns, so a Solar would die thousands of times over before even realizing what happened.
>>64001551You live well when you control your circumstances, and since when were you the one in control?
>>64001553Exalted has guns too and Solars can deal with them.
>>64001551It's not always possible to live well, that requires a steady job with pay decent enough to support a comfortably life at the very least, which is an increasingly rare prospect.
>>64001571lol no they can't. First of all those guns are weaker than real guns and second of all Solars die in fucking droves to guns of any kind. There are so many dead Solars these days that you have to bury them in unmarked mass graves, that's how pathetic and weak Solars are.

>>64001693Jealousy and resentment, partly what >>64001742said but also due to 2e. Partly due to Infernals faggots being a large part of the fan base with those who hate them and their players being a quiet minority. Solars came first and were meant to be the greatest splat of exalt which forces other splats to be balanced around them. That some of the devs jacked off to solars in addition to having dismissive and condescending attitudes in their echo chamber added to that sentiment. Having to take longer to learn/progress your character in game, pay more exp meaning the same out of game, and having your splat being nerfed powers wise is not the best of ideas when cross splat parties come together. Lunars had their own design issues as far back as conception in 1e as an afterthought that persists to this day but that is another story. Dragonblooded are grunts and get shat on enough by design so its an easy target. As for the other solaroid types, Abyssals could be summed up as "Refer to the solar corebook" for their charms being refluffed versions of solars just edgier. Sidereals had broken martial arts as their main schtick with weird tricks like nope.jpg dodging being their bread and butter because the rest of their stuff was dying to being breathed on or little to write home about. Infernals came at the weird tail end of the schizo game development that were a new take on solars which was to their benefit since by then people writing their charms tended to know what they did making them not only new but powerful (broken) in charms and potential, namely the option to grow into babby primordial donuts.Nobody talks about alchemicals though. Because they don't matter unless the GM wants them to ever come out of their isolated cancer realm.

>>64003000Pretty much. Without any drawbacks, you'd more or less be free to just wander around doing whatever until Vortex Blaster arrives, in which case you get kicked out of the jump.

>>64002637The fuckin' hilarious part is there was recently a Serpent's Hand article about an old SCP revamped as the Scarlet King's ex-top henchman. For reference, the Serpent's Hand is the anarchic hippy commune magic community/bunch of salty fucks bitter the Global Occult Coalition won the 6th Occult Wars who hang out in a magical library and are generally considered to know more about mysticism than the Foundation does. And the article says that Vazjuma/Yaldabaoth/Nuywa/the Sarkic flesh deity is the Scarlet King's aunt. The whole thing is about him apologising for the henchmonster intruding on one of her archons' universes because /she's more powerful than him/This isn't even the first time this has happened. There was a tale where the eldest Brother Death gatecrashes the Scarlet King's birthday just to remind him he will die one day and his dead brothers will take vengeance on him. The SK is a multiversal power yes, but among the REAL powers that be he's actually just a precocious upstart. The best part is, a recent 001 proposal and some newer articles paint the SK as basically the Foundation's Angra Mainyu. That is to say, whatever he used to be the Foundation repressing anomalies to sustain normality is creating some sort of nostalgia bottleneck in society that manifests as the King. And that's potentially just as canon as him being afraid of his aunt and bullied on his birthday.
>>64003058The only major immediate threats that can't be avoided are Azathoth and Vortex Blaster, both of whom can literally blink your omnipotent ass out of existence with zero effort. But neither will become relevant unless you do something monumentally stupid.

>>64001113Depends on the caste and the resources available, really. Dawn? Murder the gods and topple their thrones in like, a year or so tops. Twilight? Redefine the cosmos to exclude the Grimm, greatly confusing Salem, in a few months. Eclipse? Get everyone working together in such a way the gods chill the hell out even after being summoned, which Salem & Raven were both happy to enable. Zenith? Everyone gets shouted at to sit down and stop getting up to trouble for months on end but if the gods are summoned they're kind of boned, unless they've learned Cast Out Beyond Regard in which case Malfeas gets 2 very confused dragons. As for Nights, all of macguffins go missing one dark day. Especially some Maiden bodies.
>>64003163Probably, but the two big players (Mugen and Sphinx) are both too busy trying to deal with the unaware reincarnation of Azathoth and Vortex Blaster to do anything. Just stay out of their way coward and you'll be fine.
>>64003189Werewolves don't get the love they deserve. They're awesome monsters. I haven't found a property that really does them justice, Overlord jump aside.
Am I the only one who justifies not bothering with the God option in DYN Freaks any chain because it looks like a trap option? Since it makes you a multiversal being in a setting where every universe but one has been destroyed, and that moving outside of that universe for any reason is liable to have you noticed by VB, it would make sense that being something larger than the universe or innately encompassing in comparison to a single universe would force you to deal with an angry VB and thus justify never going for it.
>>64003304Here I thought I was the only person who noticed that. It's like having a gigantic neon 'KILL ME' sign on you as far as VB is concerned.
I’ll be honest, I didn’t understand DYN’s plot at all. Shit just kept happening with no explanation, characters showed up that I didn’t know, everybody looked the same except like three characters, and I couldn’t even tell who I was supposed to root for. It was confusing as shit.
>>64003189And that's not all - my NPC is based off of Red Riding Hood, only also a Werewolf on top of being a Ranger/Damage-Focused Archer
>>64003304>>64003333Is that true? I didn’t realize. That kind of sucks.
>>64003362Classy. I know when someone just says "classy" it often comes across as sarcastic, but I mean it. That's a classy team-up, it's very good.
>>64003304>>64003333I ignore potential trap offerings via fiat. If it's purchasable then it's not a trap option: period. So whatever bit of lore might make a CP purchase or combination of purchases a so called trap option still exists, but it doesn't create a trap for jumper. I've houseruled that since Babs and his bullshittery.
>>64003376It's ambiguous, that's just a justification/interpretation of the way the option works that I use for my chain to explain why my jumpers don't take it.
>>64003304You can just ask Val to confirm if you're worried.
>>64003113It's a very silly time loop. His name isn't Luthor, it's just Kal-L, descended very long ago from Lex Luthor. The last name changed a bit through the generations.
>>64003362Ehhh, I think it would’ve been cooler if she wasn’t a werewolf too that way you have that strong contrast, but still neat.
>>64003376It's not even hidden. The jump blatantly tells you a god-hating, multiverse-eating horror is inbound and your primary saving grace is that you're missing its final rampage if you don't go out looking for it. Anyone with half a brain cell who actually read the jump would know what they're getting into, or at least have a box to hide in until the year is over. Of course, everyone's just hung up on the Yog-Jumper meme and just ignore everything else. Because they're stupid.
>>64003392No one cares, wanker. Keep that shit to yourself.>>64003402I'd rather not have it confirmed or denied, Outer Gods are wanked enough, making it a trap option would at least give the other choices a reason for existing.
>>64003362>>64003385If that's the case, you might want to check out Zenescope's Grimm Fairy Tales. Quick and dirty it's a bit like Once, only more stylized and with network unfriendly arcs, arts, and plots. If nothing else, it might give you some decent character arts and the like.
>>64003354Yeah, I had to go over things a couple times before I got everything. DYN's a fun mess and I actually did enjoy it, but it's still a mess. >>64003333>You will leave the same moment that the Vortex Blaster enters this world at the end of this year. The last line from the jump. You leave before VB gets to you.
The God origin is not a trap. You're containing yourself within the last universe.
>>64003411It's only a potential trap option. Whether or not it's a trap option should be up for the jumper to determine, if you say it's not a trap option then it's not, but if you think it is then you can have it be for your chain to explain why you don;t take it. On a meta level, I think you should roll a 1d20 or something to determine if it's a trap option.

>>64003441Fair enough. I was mostly just entertained by the fact people meme the God option while ignoring the giant angry robot thing that hates gods.
>>64003441Hah. I guess there's once again no longer any conceivable reason to take anything but Outer God. Couldn't you have had the good sense to at least leave it ambiguous so that there could be the potential for interesting chains instead of 'lol Yog jumper'
>>64003432I've seen that a few times, but never really got into it.
>>64003411>he doesn't have an extradimensional box to hide in that leads to the Warp
>>64003441So next week you'll start making up new nerfs not in the jump?
>>64003474They meme it for good reason, Val panders to those powerwankers to the extent that it's actually retarded considering the conversation we just had. It legitimately should be a trap option, the fact that it's not just goes to show how much of a power wanker Val is

>>64003441While we're talking about DYN, is there anyway to save or protect Asylum without taking everyone out of the jump? >>64003517In this case the 700 CP option to be stronger than literally everything else in the entire jump combined with zero consequences or drawbacks, it really should be a trap option or at least have some downside to balance it with the rest of the jump rather than be the absolute undisputed OTB it is right now.

I'm sorta working on other jumps before then but with how tempting Legends jumps are, I doubt I won't do some work on them. They're definitely not my immediate project anyway.>>64003545I am but I dropped my claim on it. Is anyone actually willing to claim that the 700 CP Outer God build in D.Y.N. Freaks isn't the OTB? I've seen people who say they don't take it because they're not interested in being one, but they self admit it's a shittier build because it's just not as powerful. Who actually thinks there's any possible build that is as good as that one option?
>>64003669>spoilerBest I've got.
>>64003304The potential is too good though. Max tier Outer God is so powerful that it ignores alt-form rules when the the other tiers still have to follow chain rules. With some perks to grow the power even further, you could probably work around overcome other fiat rules without technically breaking any. If you're worried VB will kill you, use dimensional travel or some kind of narrative manipulation to skip ahead to the next jump.

>>64003707>Is anyone actually willing to claim that the 700 CP Outer God build in D.Y.N. Freaks isn't the OTB?Yeah, it isn't. Max power build is Wizard to Be and the three D.Y.N. items. The Shining Trapezohedron alone contains Azathoth's entire court along with /maybe/ a piece of Azzy himself, the Key explicitly blocks manipulation from Outer Gods (Ninja Nyarly is immune to Mugen's bullshit if he wanted) and Demonbane literally becomes Vortex Blaster if you grind enough, and it's already half way there with the other two items. Really, why wouldn't I? I've got robot maids doing the cooking, androids going around helping the ship, and rats who are trained to keep do maintenance and repairs. Legit space rats who make sure everything's all polished and maintained to work at maximum performance. It's going to look absolutely insane when they all find out about it, and the most bullshit bit of all is how I'm gonna have it rigged to play console games while I binge on sushi and various forms of seafood. >>64003785When you buy a race, such as a racial origin, it's supposed to becmoe an alt-form. If you buy the God origin at the 400cp tier or lower, it becomes an alt-form. However, at the 600cp tier it's so powerful that it becomes like accessible from any form instead, like a perk or something from a power section, even though it's still a racial origin.

I'm looking for options that'd work well with a "sealed ancient being that wants to be freed" theme. Essentially, I'd be "sealing" myself away and tempting certain people into freeing me for a chance at wishes, much like a genie. Anyone have any ideas of what could be useful for that, in terms of having knowledge of me/the seal spread without having to do anything? Other fun suggestions or your own similar tales are very much welcome as well.
>>64003801True, but that's why you use the infinite energy it provides to power Demonbane and get Elder God Demonbane. Which I am damn sure can bust the faces of even Outer Gods.

Okay so while all ya'll are arguing about DYN Freaks again, I have a queeestiooooon.I can't find the Hounds of Tyndalos in regards to that weebshit. Does anybody know what they look like in Demonbane-verse, if an image exists? I've tried my ass off to look for them with no luck. I can find the Lovecraft version, the legitimate one. But not the manga variation.
>>64003780>No anon, I said I personally have a fuzzy view of Alt Forms and don't use them the same way as most others and even said that it'd be an alt form the way people usually use it. Do you ever get tired of the lies? All your races from other jumps become alt-forms. You even have some perks that give you alt-forms, like in Tomb Kings. Even in the same jump the other God options become alt-forms. So if your jumps normally use standard alt-form rules, and one racial option is so strong that it ignores that rule, that makes it exceptional.
>>64003835Check out the Noble Estate item in Duel Monsters: The Heroes. It has a really interesting sealing mechanic attached to it.
>>64003835Generic creepy pasta allows you to have a way of summoning you spread automatically each jump if you make your story be you are sealed and they have to do something to unseal you for some power or wish or something you could easily get all you need from there alone.
>>64003848Yes anon, people actually buy expensive perks for accessing alt-form powers from other alt-forms, instead of just powerwanking like you are.

>>64003835Generic Creepypasta has myth/memetic powers that bring your legend with you in each jump? Sounds like an interesting chain.
>>64003895>Where does it say that in the jump?Say what?
>>64003885Seems silly to me. If I am a dragon then I can breath fire. If one of my forms is a dragon I am a dragon. Thereby I should be able to breath fire.

What does being Yog actuall let you do? People seem to imply it makes you omnipresent and omniscient. Is that true? The fragment justnsays you can do some things like loop space or extend time, not anything like that. Disclaimer: I know almost nothing about the setting or Lovecraft except niggerman
As an aside, has literally anyone, ever, taken an option lower tier than the 600 CP fragments, God or not?
>>64003932Does Medaka have great stonkin' tits?>>64003923Neither figuratively nor literally am I into traps, so that's a nogo for me. Yellow Tail though? Her transformation sequence hits all my fucking buttons.
>>64003848That anon's full of shit. There are no rules in the rules doc for alt-forms, and there are no solidified rules for them anywhere. Whatever he's trying to push on you is just his own houserules. The only reason you shouldn't be able to use powers of an alt-form in other forms is if they're specifically tied to that physiology in their settings.
>>64003962I like to take them in addition to 1 higher tier, that way I diversify.
>>64003961The powers listed in the Fragment section are only your initial power level. You eventually unlock the full power of the original god, which is far beyond the scope of the Infinite Colour Fragment, not just space and time manipulation.

Not all of it, because not all of it is, frankly, very good. But there are story lines in there that are really great. Teen Titans: The Return of Kid Flash was pretty good and I /really/ liked the in depth look it took into the team's social dynamics. Teen Titans: A Kid's Game was released the same year as the animated series and features a reboot with an expanded group including Kid Flash, Wonder Girl, and Superboy. It does a great job of kicking everything back off again. Teen Titans: Earth One is a little more off canon if you want to make sure you're doing something decidedly different. It's a stand-alone graphic novel that features Jericho, Beast Body, Cyborg, Terra, and Raven as a team, which seems odd but really works well. If you really want some camp, you could always do the 80's story line The Judas Contract. It's basically the inspiration for Terra's whole story from the animated series. Obviously it's dated material, but the story itself is still pretty good.
>>64003780>I personally have a fuzzy view of Alt Forms and don't use them the same wayHow so? You've been using them pretty consistently with how they work in other jumps.
>>64003979>Does Medaka have great stonkin' tits?Yes.
>>64003979>MedakaThe manga tits are bigger.
>>64003950She explicitly says that's a personal view about how alt forms work, not a ruling about how the jump works by default. While the idea that Val cheats a little at a fucking single player isekai mary sue imagination game may be funny, it's got no bearing on anyone else's chain.
>>64003961Yog is basically the most powerful being in the entire mythos with the sole exeption of Azathoth who is the mythos and Vortex Blaster who's weird. To put it another way all things are just small pieces of Azathoth, except most of those things are a part of the one large piece of Azathoth that is Yog. Vortex blaster is a piece of azathoth so powerful he can mutilate azathoth, almost destroying the multiverse in an event similar to one of your major organs deciding to kill the rest of you.
>>64003979That’s fair. What do you think about Twoearle?

>>64003994What happened there?
>>64003961I don't know if this is mutually exclusive to Demonbane or Lovecraft, but I heard something along the lines that Demonbane God's don't "control" their associated concept, as much as they create the concept just by existing. Meaning that, if you were Yog, who has control over time and space, the entirety of time and space would actually just be part of your body. On top of that, general reality warping on a multiversal scale seems to come standard with Outer Gods, so you get that on top of it.
>>64004011...Does anyone know a perk that retroactively turns flips the gender of characters upon entering it?
>>64004021But she uses them consistently everywhere else. Just having one special exception doesn't give you a "fuzzy" view on how to use it.
>>64004027I get it. So Azazoth is the human body, Yog is the muscular system, and Vortex Blaster is liver failure. That makes sense.
>>64004050Unholy Heights. It's the only retroactive gender swapping power or perk I'm aware of, and probably the only reason people go to that jump.
>>64004033She's pretty fantastic.
>>64004050You should feel free to just make small changes like that. It's your chain, and it's not like you're power-gaming.
>>64004053And I don't have any reason to care about how consistently she applies house rules in her own chains. Until she rules that the DYN Freaks jump works like that for everyone else, it works like a normal jump would.
>>64004035No idea for others but I personally mostly replace Zenkichi and seeing Zenkichi with Medaka is kind of boring, y'know, because they're the canon ship.
>>64004035People just find her behavior and personality insufferable. She was purposely written as a Mary Sue, with all the "good at everything" and "plot twisting to make her right" that entails.
>>64004047More like, concepts and reality bare a superficial resemblance to some Outer Gods, who are so vastly above reality and concepts that while interacting with the omniverse they may as well be reading manga.
If you enter a jump, then immediately time travel ten years into the future, does the jump instantly end?
>>64004035Because she's an absolutely insufferable Mary Sue.
>>64004087That's yours to decide.
>>64004055Close enough. Only it's less liver failure and more your liver has acquired a gun and is shooting you up from the inside.
What kind of job classes did you guys come up with for Overlord?
>>64004087I'd vote no, on the grounds that's retarded.
>>64004060Ah okay....So what Jump have that setting, or is that jump?
>>64004035She's the Mary Sue main character and on top of that the universe and it's characters pretends she's anything like a Standard Protagonist instead of Zenkichi, the actual Protagonist, being far more like it.
>>64004074Poor Homu. That kind of thing would be freaky as hell.
>>64004082>>64004092So...like Nero? Or Jumper McYog?
>>64004055I don't know if this is baseless speculation, but I heard it mentioned that the author has at times vaguely implied that there is something that exists outside of Azathoth. Which may have something to do with how the fuck a creature strong enough to one-shot Azathoth came to be within his own dream. If you stick with that theory, it's more like Vortex Blaster is more like a disease entering the body, and forcing every organ to start violently shutting down.

>>64004170>>64004178(3/3)So... I want you to imagine this. The Mensans and their Manpower Incorporated have been trying to crack the treecats' inherent power for a while now. They also do some pretty shady shit, at the behest of their leader Albrecht Detweiler who has in turn been trying to engineer some seriously advanced technology as far as this universe is concerned. His company sells genetically engineered slaves and he kind of considers himself something of a big deal, all the signs of a megalomaniac. Then one of the treecats escapes. A little concerning, but just send out the squads. At least until a huge ship of completely unnatural design shows up. It moves in ways that completely defy the naval broadside style of combat, and is not only seen using weapons that his group was secretly trying to design but also uses technology that is totally unheard of such as teleporters. Worse, it moves much faster than normal and has its own FTL methods and so it's completely untraceable. All while the first transmission has that damned cat on a seat. The cat explains that while they were trying to crack into its mind, the experiments let it see into theirs. See their plans, their designs, their weapons. It knew that it would need to do more than escape. It needed to truly deliver vengeance, for one specific reason: Albrecht thinks himself a god. He's so high on his own ego that he will do whatever it takes and sacrifice anyone to win. Such a person cannot be allowed to win....and everyone knows that the actions of God is what creates the Devil that opposes them. This cat shall be that devil.Cue the Mensans getting their shit kicked in at random all to shut his antics down, while laughing maniacally about the technological supremacy of a cat.

>>64004574Ok, found it. Thought it was something else at first. I'm trying to make a build for the jump right now but I can't decide between cultist or cryptid.
>>64001998Also because Alchemicals were last and never really got finished.
Generic Creepypasta is a trap jump. If you go early, you're most likely going to die or suffer a fate worse than death. If you go late, it's the same.
>>64004560Thank you much
Quick, I need jumps to pick up a good space vessel in. Not 40k, please - still in early chain.
>>64004643lol no, bitch
>>64004574What's cringy about it?>>64004643Explain your reasoning.
>>64002129There's an SCP who is a Kumiho. Or there was, maybe they shat her up in an update or deleted her or something. Anyway the entire joke was that she hated furries and would attack conventions to eat their livers.
>>64004649NuTrek for the Vengeance, Captain Harlock for the Arcadia, Battlestar Galactica for a human or Cylon vessel, Outlaw Star for a ship that has arms and can grapple stuff, Revelation Space for a Lighthugger that has its own rat crew, Metroid has a tiny personal space ship that is absurdly fast, the list goes on.
>>64004608I’d go Cultist because they have more fun. Doing rituals and drinking wine out of chalices and other shit like that.>>64004643It’s only as much of a trap as you want it to be, anon.>>64004656The main experiment starts talking about how he’s God or whatever; just standard Creepypasta “I don’t know how to end the story after all this good lead up” stuff.
>>64004656You're guaranteed to run into something that can scare you. 9 times out of 10, something's not scary unless it can kill, rape, or torture you. Something like a veteran elder Yog-Jumper isn't going to be scared of a little uncanny valley or body horror. Maybe it'll startle them, but then they'll probably just find it cute. Same with a lot of potential jumpers. Thus, there's a 90% chance you'll die, get tortured or raped no matter when you go or how powerful you are.
>>64004649Shelter & Dead Space have a couple of nice ones.
>>64004694You're a retard. Die.
>>64002506Everyone is ignoring you to wank, but here's the thing: the apollyon they can't do shit to stop? It's a lesser emanation of a universal-tier god. You as Yog are an infinite multiversal entity. You are far above anything they can contain or even hope to contain. Do you know what the foundation would do to deal with you? They'd ask you nicely to please let them study you and it's alright if you say no but they'll basically give you anything you want as long as it doesn't fuck up their plans and doesn't threaten the world, and you know, stops you from wanting to do so. You'd have them in the palm of your hand, more or less, as long as you prove mostly benevolent. Otherwise they'd try to cut and run with one of their 'earth is doomed' scramble plans.

I'm constantly fucking with the plot and characters despite being literally omniscient because even if it makes everything worse, even if I can just wave my hand and fix all of their problems, even if everything and everyone that exists are all just aspects of me, and even if I know everything that will happen already, I still want to interact with it and fuck around with people because it's interesting. I'm interested in their stories even if I know how they end. And I deliberately ignore the consequences of my actions to do whatever I want, oftentimes doing completely absurd things simply because I find the results to be amusing. I'm not really a good enough person to care about fixing all of reality's problems or even taking responsibility for the ones I cause. Hell, I'll often make things worse deliberately because it's more interesting that way. Sometimes I'll outright side with the villains just because they're cooler than the protagonists. But on the other hand I'll save people if I don't think they deserve what's happening to them. I'll help others simply because I like them. Unlike the NCR, which depended on imports from the US, so its doom had been spelled out clearly enough. Really, the biggest hurtle to restoring the continental United States fully was the Great Khans - they'd absorbed many other tribes, and controlled territory from Idaho to the Dakotas. But... that was a problem for the government to deal with, and people had seen enough war. With the most basic needs handled, people were more interested in diplomacy and reconstruction. Personally, I was satisfied with how things had gone. Even took a trip to Nuka-World to celebrate. Hyperion had been in orbit this entire time, after all. Since 2275, it had been slowly but surely stripping certain resources from the planet - the radioactive kind, along with the signature for the FEV virus in the caches I'd uncovered over the decades - and adding things such as trees, grass, small animals of various sorts. The former wastelands had begun growing green across the world. Though rebuilding the world's civilization would surely not be an easy road... it was attainable, and I'd done my part to help make it happen. It's true what they say. War never changes. But people do.Same problem with this build - too damn much writing.

So while it looks like trash to humans, it looks super glamorous to the Hutt.Personally, I feel like that's trying to sugarcoat trash.
>>64005235To be fair Jabba canonically has some weird huuman fetish. Even the other Hutts think it’s fucking abnormal he likes to make pale, airless monkeys wear strings of metal and cloth. There was a bit in that Clone Wars cartoon where Padme rescues a baby Hutt and I’m pretty sure his parents lived on Coruscant and wore clothes. So I think it’s more than Jabba is just a weird, gross, slob of a pervert among Hutts they can’t get rid of because he has too much money.
>>64005309>Jabba is the Chris-chan of Hutts
With this talk about Not wanting wanting Triumvirate Tier Power, I be here like:Valeria, I change my mind on contractor Don't buff it and please don't nerf it alsoI finally notice that you can choose what the power would be.
Those of you who jumped Sburb, what'd you take as your Class/Aspect combo and how seriously did you take it?I'm leaning towards Sylph of Mind after doing some reading/quizzes. Hanging out in the background occasionally interspersed with going ballistic and stealing the show is the most honest way to describe my jumps.
>>64002408I'm not sure, but I think it was sort of implied that was a memetic threat, that the knowledge of it causes it to happen to you?I may have misunderstood that entry, but at least, to me, it seemed to be hinting in that direction.
>>64005333It explains so much, and yet it's such a horrible ass-pull.
>>64005345Why do you capitalize random words like that? It makes your post painful to read.
>>64005309> and wore clothes> tfw you realize that not only is Jabba naked, but it's actually abnormal for Hutts to be naked> you always thought he was like a wookie or something> but no, he's getting off on thisOh god.I did not need this in my life.
>>64005160How long will you be on jump #183?
>>64004723Huh, I just realized I never put in a continuity option for Tales of the Jedi. Here's an updated version if anyone cares.Drive link for imaged version.https://drive.google.com/open?id=1pmF0ABQHpZOpb82snSPXlv_BI_F8d59R>>64004854It's still going to be a little while. >>64004880I'm be sure to put in something super awesome then.
>>64005309>>64005366I legitimately can't remember any Hutt wearing clothing throughout the Clone Wars series, and more than a few show up. I think Ziro had a feather hat or something, but not actual clothes. At the very least, Jaaba isn't the only one.
>>64005309See, while this is obviously after-canon to make it make more sense, it really does add to Jabba's character. He's not just perverted and disgusting from our perspective, he is from his own species' perspective. Perfect for some degenerate desert crime lord.
>>64005374Just one more. I count continuity drawbacks as being in the same 'universe' as it were.>>64005393You don't need to for me, I was just stating I wasn't sure if I'd take it.
>>64005348My results on those tests tend to rage between Blood, Rage, and Void, so I just go with whichever of those clashes least with the Chain in question. Although, Heir of Heart as an "inheritor of souls" may work for a slow-growing gestalt entity a la a current sidechain of mine.I'm most likely to be either Heir or Page regardless of Aspect, and Heirs of Void are maximum sneaky so that's cool for the main Chain.
If Val is till around, I know that Wriggling Wrath from DYN says the summoned creatures will be disturbing, but can we have them be cute instead? Or just warp them to be cute after they appear maybe? How much leeway do we get with their appearance I guess is what I'm asking. I'm not super jazzed about eldritch tentacle monsters.
>>64005480You'll almost certainly do better than that other Heir of Void, so that's something at minimum!
>>64005393>I'm I'll.Also, interesting choices. >>64005309>>64005333>>64005366Just more reasons for why you should exterminate all the Hutts.
>>64005530He shouldn't have kneeled. That was the beginning of his downfall.
>>64005538Now that it's irrelevant power-wise, there's no point in keeping the mandatory drawback for Cambion.
>>64005530Well yeah, I don't have millions of years of malignant social engineering programming me to submit to the will of a whacked-out clown. In fact, with no Lord English influence at all I'm likely to suffer far less agony than even John, who had the least angst of anyone as far as I remember.
Are there any good imports for pocket dimensions besides Marvel Magic, DC Occult, or World Seed? I already went to the first two, and the last only makes inner worlds (I want to keep it outer if possible).
I think we finally did it, you know, slayed the Demon Lord. We finally got Val to leave. I predict we'll see a large decrease in her activity in the next few months, culmination with her final departure anywhere between fall and winter. Thank God, it's finally over.
Now when something like Aura from Pokemon says it caps out at the level of Lucario, is that meant to overrule uncappers, or just limit what you can achieve through the perk itself?
>>64005393Stop ruining my evening.
>>64005662I tend to assume those are just the limits of the perk itself. Then again, most hardcaps were written before uncappers were even a thing, so interpret that how you will. Now an interesting case is the wording "at most" when it comes up in perks that specify a time period over which they ramp up or are learned. If you're willing to rules lawyer, that can be interpreted as "this is the amount of time it will take a blind, deaf, mute, paraplegic idiot to figure this out or achieve the full potential of this perk." Somewhat less rules-lawyery is "this is how long it will take an unremarkable non-protagonist to do this," with the unspoken implication of "so you'll probably get it twice as fast at least."
Anyone got links to people's writefagging? I've never really paid any attention before and I'm curious.
>>64005639There's one in Generic Creepypasta, but it's fairly limited. Collector from Oasis of Fantasy gives you a Gate of Babylon which is a functionally unlimited size treasury that I'm sure could double as a pocket dimension if you need it to. Comes with all the furniture ever made too. Oasis also has the Temple of Solomon as an item. Garden of Avalon has the Wizard Tower.
>>64005639>>64005721 (me)Oh shit you said imports nvm my bad
>>64005647>slayed the Demon Lord
>>64005713No links, but Heavens and Yoro both have chains on the drive, and I think YJ has a chapter of his chain up there too. Those are all good reads if you have the time.
So, doing a chain that starts in Dragonball and then progresses steadily through the rest of the DB jumps. But I am struck by a conundrum. Waifu Bulma? Or don't waifu Bulma? Vegeta is rather critical to a lot of later events, and by all indications it was the influence of Bulma that mellowed him out enough that he became such a staunch ally and member of the Z-fighters.But on the other hand, I want to waifu Bulma because she's awesome. So /jc/, what do?
>>6400077900, 10 and most of the MC's harem

Was there a jump for the Horus Heresy? I seem to remember a wip floating about but it isn't on either of the drives.

How would you make Gaara’s sand control in RWBY as a semblance? Would this be good substitute?Semblance - Sand This semblance allows the control over sand. Shaping it into different shapes to suit the need of the user and hardening it by supplying aura through the sand. Ranged - Mid (100sp)Power - Defining (250sp)Usability - Situational (Requires Sand)
If being Yog essentially makes you omnipresent, do you just make an avatar if you want to physically be present for stuff?
>>64001643Maybe a focus on Marvel Cosmic? Something like the Thanos Wins story line/ Cosmic Ghost Rider or similar. Also for those marvel people on here, how do Magic and Cosmic Power differ? I'm generally unclear.
>>64005839Like most Gods, yeah.
>>64005838I think the usability is meant to be more like how hard it is to use for you. Whether it needs gestures, or for you to be still. Gaara's probably needs either 4 or 5 since he can do it without moving at all.
Aquaman was pretty great. Cool fights, great water effects, musical cues were on point, Black Manta was badass even if laughably unsympathetic and the villain felt like DC's best written one yet. Not a very high mark but being sympathetic at all is new for DC so kudos. Sadly, not enough shirtless Momoa but he did manage to make that goofy Aquaman shirt look good. Hell, he managed to make Aquaman cool again in my eyes all over. Seriously, how did Merela spend more time showing off her chest than Aquaman? Criminal it is.Not sure on what to do about the jump though. I could do a jump for just this but that'd probably be bad long term, so it'd probably be best for me to work out a way to really expand DCEU jump a lot more. >>64001643“Chip away”? What does that mean? Will he finish it on the weekend?
>>64005838Aside from Usability needing to be upgraded like the other anon said, you're going to want to boost the power as well, given that Gaara was capable of some insane feats with his sand. Granted, even Power 5 won't match what he could do, but it would be closer.

Off the top of my hand, as a suggestion maybe Wonder Weapons could be tiered by relative artifact potency sorta like divine powers in GoH? 200/400, maybe 600 in the future depending on how Macguffiny the movies get later on. One thing that stood out to me is in JL Aquamomoa struggled to hold back a mere water reservoir after Steppenwolf knocked a hole under it compared to what Mera and Orm can do unarmed in the movie which kind of makes sense, considering it turns out that was just his mom’s old weapon and he hadn’t gotten the Trident of Atlantis yet. Mind you, I don’t remember directly moving water with the trident in the fight with Orm. Just communing with sea creatures, maybe bringing that storm when they fought on the surface-and the whirly water shield thing seemed more like that technique he learned as a kid than the trident’s power?>ughOn the bright side, there’s a full frontal, slowmo scene of Shirtless Momoa in Justice League right before the fight with Steppenwolf!>>64005963It could be worse. Otherwise, yeah, probably that stuff.I think there's just a lot of inconsistency. Like, Aquaman's strength in the movie for example, compared to Justice League. In JL, he matches Wonder Woman, who had already fought on Superman's level (Pre Mother Box) against Doomsday. Yet Aquaman is...mostly waaaay less strong in Aquaman, especially since him being as strong as in JL would make the Atlanteans an unbeatable race. Except the submarine scene that while fucking badass, felt kinda out of place compared to the rest of his fights. That is one upside.>>64006092I'll wait for Shazam. it's coming out pretty soon and if I'm going to be trying to include tonnes of stuff from WW and Aquaman, I might as well wait for more content elsewhere too. Also dude, it's a little rude to quote all the spoilered out stuff and un spoiler it. >>64006234>I'm not her but she's been pretty clear in the past she doesn't like ruling on meta stuff like altforms, presumably because she uses non-standard rules herself. But she's had powers specifically bound to alt-forms in the past, so it's not like she just expects everyone to ignore the mechanic. Saying that you won't rule on "meta stuff" but having powers that is supposed to work a certain way with said "meta stuff" is a contradiction.
>>64006280I didn't mean to imply that she never rules on it, only that in this case, it's a weird exception due to the nature of the purchase in question. She's also said before that Outer Gods are not a species or a race, so they don't fit the alt-form box perfectly. This particular situation seems to be an exception in which it could go either way based on personal interpretation of what an alt-form is, which is why I'd assume she didn't want to impose a concrete ruling on it. She'd essentially be deciding Chain meta rules on alt-forms for you.
>>64006219I mean, hey, I'd say I pointed out that this was my personal view in the same post I gave that answer but you seem very determined to change what I said, so I'm not sure what you actually want me to fucking say mate. >>64006307>I figure that for something so minor, people that don't want to roll would just choose for themselves anyway.This. I don't think I've ever rolled for an age. I usually don't roll location either. It seems like a pointless addition that forces you to either drastically delay your narrative or pay to bypass it.
>>64006307>I mean, hey, I'd say I pointed out that this was my personal view in the same post I gave that answer but you seem very determined to change what I said, so I'm not sure what you actually want me to fucking say mate. Since you're going to be rude, I will be too. I wanted you to just fucking answer the original question, instead of passively aggressively pointing out every time someone misinterprets what you said. The reason why your original answer confused people is that it's common for jumpmakers to make rulings based on their personal opinions, so when you give just a personal opinion and no actual "fanwank it" ruling, people will take your opinion as the ruling. No, that last line you added originally doesn't count. You basically said that people are allowed to ignore what you said, but since at this point they were already primed to hear a ruling and you didn't give one, they felt ignoring your personal interpretation would be ignoring a ruling. What you should've said instead is to just fanwank it, and then give your personal interpretation. >If I give an answer, are you actually going to hear it or is it gonna be what you want me to say regardless of what I actually say?Yeah, I'm hearing it. Your rudeness makes it obvious that I'm hearing what you're actually saying. >My answer is that I'm not going to rule on how alt forms work in other people's chains. Fanwank it. Now you can make your own answer and it has nothing to do with me.There, thank you. Was this harder than spiting people for the past couple threads? This is an example of a helpful and clear response: >>64006306
>>64006145Sounds like a good plan. About the inconsistency-personally, I think it comes down to power parity and Atlantean tech. In JL Aquamomoa's only real enemies were a bunch of mooks Batman could take down individually and a melee guy Diana was holding her own against. In his own movie-one fight he's having to dodge Atlantean blasters that can turn water into plasma in the middle of a crowded meditarranean movie, so I figured it was like that weird thing where Diana is more vulnerable to piercing weapons for some reason?. Is it an innuendo thing? And I assumed he was subconsciously holding back the YAAAAHAHOOIE! building/sky jumping for fear of causing a Man of Steel. Then he was fighting Manta, who had cannibalised Atlantean tech. And still got wrecked SUPER hard once Aquamomoa got a good hit in. As for Orm well, they either fought in an arena build above a molten sea floor or on an Atlantean war vessel, both of which I assumed were reinforced super fuckin' hard. Even then the thing is...I'm not convinced the Atlanteans aren't NOT presented as an unbeatable race? I remember during the challenge Vulko kept beating it into Aquamomoa that Orm has skill, experience and technique befitting his background and Aquamomoa didn't get slapped around in the first fight, they were surging all over the place for a while until Orm got a grip. So I think the reason why Aquamomoa kept getting beat wasn't because he was nerfed, but because a lot of the fighting happened underwater where it takes more for a shockwave to make an impression and to show the Atlanteans controlling their strength.....that, and I think JL either did a bad job of making Steppenwolf look formidable or was being ambiguous about whether Wondy is still as strong as she was at the end of her own movie. I spend way, way too much time analysing DCEU fights because they're easy listening on the metro
>>64006352This may be a dumb question, but are the Shining Trap and the Necronomicon immaterial until you summon them like the Silver Key, or do they have to be physically stored?
>>64006410Was gonna say a lot more than this but in the end, you're just another rude dick that's ignored me explaining this multiple times already, whether on purpose or from some ridiculous need for it to be hammered into an imprint on your bloody skull. You've been told. Multiple times. Even the original post gave you your answer. You being confused is no one's fault but your own, even the example you said was helpful already outright said he just based it on stuff I'd already said. Stop taking the piss and blaming me because you can't be bothered reading the answers I gave you already.>>64006375I don't have a problem with it in that sense, I just find I have enough trouble doing builds without needing to bring up a random roller app or site every time I open a jump. >>64006433I can't really agree there. Aquaman was fighting Steppenwolf and matching his blows for a bit at the end of JL. So unless every Atlantean is around as strong as one of Darkseid's top generals or their tech is so absurdly good that they mass produce suits and weapons that can contend with said top general...I just can't help but see it as inconsistent. I think it's clear why it's inconsistent, the movies are being made more and more in isolation from each other, which is great because christ they need to take their time with this stuff. But when Aquaman goes from fighting alongside the lady who knocked around Doomsday and fights Steppenwolf H2H himself to...getting punched out in two hits by a Atlantean mook with a power fist, I feel like it's hard to make it make sense.
>>64006433Er, forgot to mention, but a lot of my feelings come from the fight in the ship hideout, which was in an air pocket and against some mook soldiers, where plenty of physical destruction occured yet no one was present for a pretty good distance to be harmed, apart from two other powerful Atlanteans.
>>64005348I'm leaning towards Mage of Void, but also considering Prince. Other aspecs I like to a lesser extent are Light, Time, and Doom in descending order of how much I like them. Doom I mostly like for the color scheme and kickass logo. Too bad it sucks for the Doom players.
>>64006410The problem is that you're missing how that post she talked about her opinion differing from the rules everyone else was following and that she didn't expect most to follow the same ones she did. She clearly set it up as a explanation for how she personally differs about rules we all have a more shared view on.
>>64006518And you're just another drama queen who takes any opportunity to put people down. It's only a matter of time until your putrid personality leaks into the rest of your life, and people see the hateful bitch you've been trying to hide. >>64006560Doesn't matter. Everyone has their own houserules, and every jumpmaker has a different opinion on how things work. If she people ask her for a ruling and she gives a personal interpretation instead of saying to fanwank it, she only has herself to blame for not communicating effectively. But of course that's intentional. After all, alking things through like normal people isn't her objective.
>>64006536I'm not sure if you saw it, but since we're about to archive I'll just ask again >>64006497>>64006607That's weird
>>64006410I can get being upset but you need to think about the situation you're in when you say certain things. The way your opening post was worded fit the shit posting she's been getting about the alt form thing for the past few hours. Why did you expect to not get treated that way when it is really hard to not see you as one of the guys trying to say she was changing jumpchain rules?
>>64006607You’re a god, PA.
>>64006613God, you're a salty bitch, ain't ya? Here's a tip mate. When you point out something as what you consider the right response and the guy giving that response outright says he only needed what I already posted...you're probably doing a fuck up somewhere. You ain't interested in an answer. You'd already have it if you were, like other people do. You just want to stir trouble by ignoring and misinterpreting until you get it.>>64006607So weird.>>64006621Sorry man. Anyway, yeah, I believe they both are immaterial.
>>64006613You really like going after her don't you? I recognise the same word choices every once in a while, even from attacks on other jump makers. It's a shame that jump makers have to put up with assholes like you all the time.
>>64006645I'm ensuring the community convicts you for your crimes. You can't run roughshod over everyone like you're some kind of God Empress. People need to see that they're not the only ones tired of your shit.
>>64006623While I may have agreed with you originally, it's pretty obvious that she feels that her original response was crystal clear. It doesn't matter whether or not I genuinely wanted an answer or just wanted to shitpost, because the idea that anyone might misunderstand her original post is inconceivable to her, and therefore I must be shitposting. >You just want to stir trouble by ignoring and misinterpreting until you get it.You're one to talk.
>>64006677kek this a falseflag right?it's gotta be, nobody says shit like this
>>64006677Fuck off and die already, OAA.
>>64006677>I'm ensuring the community convicts you for your crimes.I know it wasn't your intention, but this made me laugh. Even if this is a shitpost, and you aren't really that overdramatic, reading something like this when it's about a single player imagination game and some random person on the internet doing something you don't like is funny to me.
>>64006692But she explained herself in different posts beyond the original as well. Other people also referred to her doing that. Why would she do that if she believes only her original was needed like you say? Even in the response that you lashed out against her at, she explained it to you again. Yeah, she got pretty exasperated with you but people have been shitposting about what she's said for a while now and you look like you're saying the exact stuff she spent time dealing with before.
>>64006692>Not shitposting>She answered your question in the postIt becomes really clear why she says you just want trouble when you're saying this stuff. If you were still angry about her being rude that'd be one thing but you're complaining that she's not answering you when she actually did. She said the thing you wanted at the start when you first asked her.
>>64006518Yeah, that's fair. They're very action-y movies so without an interview or something stuff's open to interpretation. Most of my trust in that power fist comes from the huge stonkin' miracles of Atlantean tech in their heyday like the limitless energy and the hologram thingy still working in the desert and theorising even less ambitious stuff built on that basis could be superhero-punching level. That and I got the impression in JL Aquaman lasted as long as he did against Steppenwolf because of team support because he fought him alone relatively less compared to Diana, and when he 1v1d him in his own element he got smacked away. Another thing is Mera keeps pace with him throughout all the adventures and...I forgot exactly how clear the movie made this, but I think royals are mainly better than the rank and file more because of training not something inborn? Like Atlanna fought off her pursuers by herself but was still heavily injured after, and I don't think Vulko ever commented on Aquaman being a prodigy or mega powerful teaching him the swirly water thing. Bu well...we MOSTLY follow royals around in the movie so it's also a very small sample size. And like you said, Steppenwolf IS presented as a threat that made the Olympian gods team up with the Amazons and the Green Lanturns and medieval men with broadswords. Even if it's implied (and I think, outright said in interviews?) that Steppenwolf has gone to seed because he disappointed Darkseid and was exiled it's clear he's meant to be a Big Deal in the movie. Even if it is a bit ridiculous seeing him lurch around fighting Diana and actually being outpaced by Amazons on horseback for a while right after seeing Diana parry bullets with her wrists. Bah, I'm rambling. I guess what I'm trying to say is: Looking forward to the update and enjoying/cringing at Shazam!>>64006156Also, The (((Great))) Saiyaman
>>64006749>(((Great)))Are you trying to imply that Gohan is jewish?
>>64006749Sadly, DC movies feel as inconsistent as the comics. MCU seems more consistent at least until Captain marvel comes along with her supposedly planet busting powers. Also Thor vs Thanos at the end of IW was pretty silly.Shazam looks great tho. Hyped.
>>64006782>Shazam looks great tho. Hyped. We don't have enough jumps with Fortnite dances desu. >>64006794Run Ichiraku ramen and expand the franchise to other hidden villages
>>64006714I was present for the thread where she made the original post, including the discussion later in the thread. She said that she was just giving her personal view, but since she didn't say to fanwank it either I felt it was unclear whether this was an opinion-based ruling or just a fanwank it instance. She obviously disagrees. I wasn't present for most of this thread, so if she gave a more detailed answer before I asked, I did not see it. >Even in the response that you lashed out against her at, she explained it to you again. Yes, and she lashed out against me for it. She also feels her answer was clear when I do not. I gave my reasoning for why I felt the answer was unclear, but she just keeps saying that it was perfectly clear with not much reasoning beyond that. It's simply something we can't ever agree on. >>64006729If you mean the ruling I asked for and she gave, I said that was good. But aside from that, just repeatedly saying that the answer was clear isn't going to change my mind that it was unclear.
>>64006778Why do you think he keeps getting into movies even though as far as the public knows his father is just some bumfuck farmer that fought a hysterical piece of bubblegum that one time? It's almost like Gohan has a standing contract with (((them))). Oy vey, it's like another Saiyan extinction
>>64006828People also gave reasons for why you got a rude response too but that looks like something you disagree with everyone else on as well. The way you responded to her after was a little telling though. It's hard to look at you as just searching for a clear answer with the way you reacted. You can't make yourself look reasonable with a post like >>64006613
So who else that went to the DBZ jump picked up the saiyan waifu companion that is very clearly a reference to plagueofgripes OC saiyan ladies?
>>64006828How did she even lash out? She just asked you if you were actually going to listen to her or if you'd just shit post at her? She never even directly insulted you.
>>64006076Momoa is Polynesian, brainlet.
>>64006782WOuld Chikage from Demonbane / DYN FREAKS changed his gender if he fell in love with a jumper but the jumper is in love with the opposite gender?
>>64006410Christ we really do get the worst autismos, don't we?
>>64006903Are you new or do you really only notice this now?
>>64006908Sometimes it just takes me aback. Seeing someone throw a temper tantrum will do that.
>>64006899No idea. He did become a weirdass alien god for his girlfriend so who knows what else he's willing to do.
>>64006914It happens pretty much every thread. Some threads are nothing but anons throwing a tantrum at each other. Most people here just get used to it.
>>64006782>Thor vs Thanos at the end of IW was pretty sillyHow do you mean?As in, Thor should have kicked his ass, or Thor should have been bitchslapped to the ground on the spot? Because I guess I can see the argument for either.
>>64006858I only reacted like that because of her response. I understand how my question may have been interpreted as a shitposting attempt, but I won't keep giving basic respect if it's not returned. She insinuates that I'm shitposting. I send her "fucking" back at her and call her out for being passive aggressive. She goes onto fling shit. Anyways, it's not just the rudeness. I said it was clear, she said it doesn't. I gave her reasons for why I felt it was unclear, she just says that everyone else understood it so I should understand it to. So it doesn't matter whether or not she was rude, because as she said, I just "fucked up" somehow and it was perfectly clear all along. >>64006883I asked for a clarification on a previous post. She implied that I was just attempting to shitpost. Implied that I wasn't going to hear what she said, and instead just hear what I wanted to hear. >She just asked you if you were actually going to listen to her or if you'd just shit post at her? Ever hear of a little something called passive aggression?
>>64006960Thor somehow outmatching a blast from a fully gemmed up Infinity Gauntlet was pretty whack.
>>64006921So yeah? I mean, becoming an alien god probably trumps and is infinitely more strange than changing genders. Probably.
>>64006967She's been dealing with people shit posting about this since she made the comment. Why shouldn't she ask you this when every other person talking about it is being an idiot? Just because you don't read the rest of the thread doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
>>64006971Alright, look. I don't care about whether I was rude or she was rude. I just said it doesn't matter. Regardless of how it was said, she feels it was clear, I feel it wasn't. I gave reasons for being confused, and she just says I fucked up somehow because it was clear the entire time. There isn't any middle ground here.
>>64006967Not only was she reasonably acting with the climate she's dealt with this topic in, you were a lot ruder than you imply you were. The whole post also makes the claim that you weren't reading the rest of the thread to see if there was problems around the argument a obvious falsehood because you refer to what people have been talking about in past threads. You even say that the way she's been treating people shit posting at her is spiting them. I know I'd get rude if someone told me I was in the wrong for not politely conceding to the demands of people that were shit posting.
>>64006968Eh, it only if you assume that the infinity gauntlet is as strong as the infinity gauntlet in the comics. Which is clearly not, as Thanos have to use his hand in order to use the gems and the gauntlet will destroy itself from using all of the gems just once. Plus how the Scarlet Witch was able to destroy the mind stone which shows how weak they are compared to other versions. I just assume he just used the power stone rather than all of them since the gauntlet didn’t immediately break.
>>64006992Tearing this argument of yours apart is fun. Maybe this is why Val bites bait so much. She told you that the person you said was a helpful response said themselves that they only used what she had already said. It's fun watching you run around that point and never acknowledge it because of how bad it makes you look that the guy you said Val should be like avoided your mistakes.
>>64006992I don't know man, in a climate where everyone seems to be confused and angry to some extent I'd say everyone has the middle ground.
>>64007004And I said many, many times now that it was not clear to me. She said that it was clear. I said that she said it was clear. Yes, the helpful response was helpful. The information was not clear to me based on what she said. What more do you want me to say?
>>64006992The problem is that the reasons you gave don't make sense. Most of them are answered by posts she made later on. Other people talked about multiple posts she made. It looks like you're complaining about her not being clear but not wanting to clear things up by reading her posts to make it clear.
>>64006968Who is Oasis' Deformed based on?
>>64007023So you started all this shit because you had a personal issue. You kept talking about her spiting other people in other threads over this topic but it was all really just about you, even though you kept talking about how she reacted to other people, and all your insults were about how she reacts to everyone. It was all just your own personal clarity and you wanting her to go above and beyond the level she already went to satisfy your personal desires. You're being pretty needy and ungrateful even when she sates your neediness.
>>64007001I agree they're probably not as strong as the comic ones because of how bullshit comics are. But to be fair, we did see Strange trapping Dormammu the cosmic assimilator with one stone. That's pretty strong even by comic standards. And bullshit like "character is as powerful as a stone because character got a power from the stone" in the case of Wanda is a thing that happens in the comics too, isn't that Adam Warlock's deal with the Soul Stone?Don't the stones glow when they're being used? I don't remember whether they were twinkling or not when Thor leapt in.
>>64007026I believe it's on the Hassan, from memory. A lot of them mess with their bodies pretty hard.>>64007001Eh, was kinda just basing it on what the gauntlet and stones had done in the MCU in the same movie alone. And the Power Stone makes pretty distinctive stuff that didn't look like the beam Thanos used.
>>64006968To be fair, Stormbreaker was channeling the Bifrost at the time. Nevermind how that works with Asgard destroyed. I guess there's a tiny Bifrost inside of Stormbreaker? It could be less that he was outmatching it, and more that Stormbreaker was just teleporting the blast away. And there's also this >>64007001Powerlevels are all over the place.Hela can destroy indestructible hammers, Stormbreaker has the power of the Rainbow Bridge, and Captain Marvel can probably 1v1 full-power Thanos.MCU is a weird universe.
>>64007023I think a lot more people here would be more understanding of what they type being perceived as rude or leading into bait if they got constantly heckled overthings they said.
>>64007023I thought autism was too far to use for you but you really are autistic. There's only so much it's reasonable to expect from people doing this for fun. If someone has already spoken several times on a topic and is putting up with people harassing her over even talking about it, expecting that they will drop everything and treat you with perfect respect and politeness over you expecting them to go through it all again for you alone is so much more rude than anything either of you have said in this autistic conversation.
>>64007046Eh, fair enough. Maybe he was riding on a high and wasn’t at all prepare for a dead guy running at him with an axe. Or maybe the writer didn’t think hard enough when writing the scene. Either, it was a good movie, not the best movie but good.
>>64007050Yeah, I couldn't understand the Bifrost thing. Kinda wish they explained a lot of stuff about how Asgard and related things worked a bit better with how important some of it gets. But yeah, ultimately I think it comes down to what I was talking about originally and all. Things just are getting a bit inconsistent in the latter half of MCU. Which kinda makes sense, since they are getting into the higher and higher power levels while still making low level character movies.
>>64007050Damned if I know how Stormbreaker does it but Heimdell did it by calling on the Allfathers. Coupled wih that and Odin showing up in Ragnarok after his death I get the impression they're building up the afterlife thing Wakandan kings go to when they take the herb and wherever dead Asgardian royalty go to have something to do with each other, and by extension the nature of their powers as well.>Powerlevels are all over the placeYeah, it's finally starting to seem like the actual comics. Don't forget TWO Celestials sharing power are enough to assimilate the whole universe, apparently.
>>64007071Oh yeah, not saying it wasn't a good movie. I really enjoyed IW. Visual effects were gorgeous and I had fun watching it all and it left me excited for part 2. It's Captain Marvel I'm worried about, but that's mostly because the trailers make me think that Larson doesn't know how to emote. Hoping that's just the bad trailers. Definitely excited for Law as the villain though, love that dude's acting.
>>64007077Apart from my fanwank here >>64007077 I think it's notable in Thor 1 the Bifrost was also Loki's idea for destroying Jotunheim and seemingly emitted by some kind of generator built into the Realm Eternal proper, while in Thor 3 they established Hela gradually gets more powerful while she stands in Asgard. It's all speculative of course, but what I took away from the motifs is the idea that the Bifrost is less just a space bridge and more Asgard's true ultimate superweapon.
>>64007085>Despite this, you retain your free will completely, thus allowing you to benefit quite significantly from being considered a natural part of the world, especially when it comes to your magecraft being accepted as entirely natural.would this mean you can create permanent objects through projection?
>>64007093You know, that totally makes the whole thing make way more sense. Just wish it was explained instead of left to assumption. Kinda like Thanos being insane getting nearly no focus, given how important it is for justifying his stupid, stupid plan.>>64007106I think so? Not sure if you'd need to maintain the projection in normal mana upkeep or not. I guess if it expended mana it'd need upkeep but otherwise yeah? Either way, it makes projection sooo much easier.
