>>63990269This but unironically.
Have you ever started singing and people start singing along?
>>63990457Yes. Taking perks from Disney jumps tends to end in impromptu singing.
>the Valeria dynasty was overthrown by the jump of a shitty native isekai harem storyNo empire can last forever, huh?
>>63990465I don't think you know what any of those things actually mean, anon.
My biggest problem with World Seed is how it has so much neat shit it's impossible to get everything I want.
>>63990467Native isekai is an ironically unironic meme from /a/ to disparage the isekai genre, while the rest are pretty common words.
>>63990470Just suck Jumpchan's dick for more points
>>63990457Zydrate comes in a little glass vial.A little glass vial?A little glass vial.
>>63990476>from /a/ to disparage the isekai genreTalk about pots and kettles.
>>63990506To be fair, the people making isekai generals are mostly /v/ tards. Or at least I hope so.
>>63990506This entire site is based upon the pot calling the kettle a nigger.
>>63990465Goblin Slayer is the superior native isekai.
Anyone making Rising of the Shield Hero Jump?
>>63990497And the little glass vial goes into the gun like a battery (battery).
>>63990497>>63990541Do we have a Repo! Jump?
Kitsune are objectively the best kemonomimis.
>>63990555They’re all good.
Can you use the multiple class slots from Jobless and Slave Harem to level up multiple World Seed classes simultaneously?
Speaking of World Seed, can anyone who has actually read the story point out the OC stuff in the jump? From what I've seen, it's mostly the customizable Personal Dimension and some 400/600 perks that got buffed.
>>63990555Fluffy jumpers! How much do you let others pet you?
>>63990470See the problem is you arent thinking. Aion and anon303 are both idiots who made a junp for a setting that lets you do literally anything you want if you have enough money. You only need to buy the gold market and have gold affinity. Bam just buy literally anything else you want including the other powers. This was brought up and both of them have said it would work in the past. There is no reason to buy anything else. The entire jump is complete shit because you can literally get anything in it by not being a retarded idiot and that is canon.
>>63990592Nothing that got buffed or is in the jump is really oc. The original jump just didn't make things sound OP enough. The entire setting is broken and that is how it was supposed to be. The author is a hack.
>>63990580Even having one class in world seed is enough to do whatever you want. The classes are a starting point but it gets shown that if you put in a little effort you can learn any of the powers that other classes get natively.
>>63990554There is one according to Google, but it's been posted on Reddit instead of /jc/ or SB/QQ drives.
>>63990704I do remember it being posted here
>>63990704>>63990726What? It's in unimaged jumps, N-Z.
>>63990554>>63990704Repo! is in our drive, and has been since last February at least. Complete without images, N-Z Jumps.
>>63990532Once again, no. Nobody is willing to read 400 chapters of shitty WN for it. Even less so when the LN is expanding content and is mostly untranslated. Maybe someone will make it based on just the anime and manga once the former ends.
Is there a Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer jump?
>>63990638There's a difference between affinities that can control something, like light, and ones that can create something, like plasma. Iirc metals, including gold, are the latter, so you'd still need actual gold to create coins. The easiest way to mass produce gold coins would be to just set up rituals with Origin magic, which was also mentioned in the story. And as the prices on the Gold Market are marked up significantly, it's basically just faster and more efficient to learn the stuff you wanna get yourself.
>>63990592Some of the buffs were pretty unnecessary, since The System already expands to cover your out of jump abilities.
>>63990638I think that is a little harsh. A303 barely posts but aion is nice to the point of being walked on whenever hr does a jump. It just seems like that setting is easier to break than most, I wouldnt call either of the makers idiots.
>>63990799No. I think someone wanted to make a Gauntlet out of it, which is disgusting.
>>63990800The easiest way to make gold is to buy mana affinity from the drop in discount. Making pure mana gems is basically making gold not to mention all the other actual uses for them.Getting the ability to ignore mana costs on your spells is just the cherry on top.
>>63990800Wrong. The bbeg in the story literally just abducted some prjmitive aliens and made them learn gold affinity ro spam the gold store. That is literally how he bank rolled everything.
>>63990831Gods could still stomp him at any time, though. And you cannot actually build the god spot via Gold Market even if it's seemly offered, I think.
>>63990842It is offered but the mc did not have enough gold.
>>63990842The bbeg turned out to be a god, he just used the primitives to create fold with gold affinity then buy a shitload of space ships worth more collectively than anything else shown in the setting. He didnt need to buy godhood because he already was a god.
So I think Lost Valley of the Dinosaurs needs an update.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9sGF7aYTYchttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AY_Cp3rRR3shttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ksPzfHmEbM
>>63990870That guy left unfortunately.
>>63990532Nope. Lone Valkyrie, and I believe Ricrod, thought about doing it, but could never manage to work up the motivation.
>>63990695>>63990580Honestly, that world is full of dumb people. Any regular person would still reach Godhoodd before the MC does. >>63990695I guess it would save him a lot of effort, though.
>>63990921The plot twist at the end is that the people left in setting are literally the mouthvreathing mong retards because everyone with common sense ascended already.
>>63990831Weren't they just used to mine gold, with the gold affinity then shaping it into coins? Could be misremembering though.
>>63990815No a303 may be decent but aion is a barely english literate mong. Seriously the dude types at a third grade reading level and his sentence structure makes me think he learned english via google translate.
>>63990598Companions, and companions only, give/receive pets each night.>>63990555Top tier no doubt, but I wouldn't necessarily say they are best overall. Wolf girls can sometimes compete.
>>63990963No he just made them into druids and made them create gold via their affinities, anyone can do it. Hell the mc does it with his red blood metal when he creates his organic armor and that stuff normally requires a planets wirth of mining to get a rice grain sized chunk.
>>63990987Wait a sec, I'm 99% sure the way he got the metal armor was that he copied the form of a monster whose skin turned into the metal it eats, and then he just ate the blood metal he got from his grove.
>>63991011Yeah, he copied the creature and he ate metal in his grove. That is how affinities work, you have an affinity it grows in your grove and you can spit it out when you need it. Groves are bullshit. Affinities are bullshit. He builds an entire spaceship using just metal from his grove early on.
>>63991048So how did he get affinity for the metal?
>>63991067He has ALL the affinities. He cheated.
>>63991067You cycle your personal energy in an out of the thing you're trying to develop a affinity for.
>>63991067Just by studying metal-aspected mana. Anyone can develop any affinity, don't listen to >>63991077. You spend some time around an element, you absorb the mana associated with it, eventually you train yourself to produce that type of mana and you get an affinity. Once it reaches 5% you can create an elemental seed and use that to add the element to your grove.
>>63991048Alright, I reread that section, and he crushes a planet for the lifeblood in his grove, and then applies its aura to the armor he got from the monster. As I thought, metal affinities can't create the metal, just manipulate it, but if you have the affinity for a material, you can cause it to be created in the grove. That wasn't the case in that situation though, as he didn't have the affinity, he just harvested the natural lifeblood that grows within the core of a planet.
>>63991107Not all metals are covered under metal aspect. You should read the book. You need to specifically work for certain metals.
>>63991111>As I thought, metal affinities can't create the metal, just manipulate it, but if you have the affinity for a material, you can cause it to be created in the grove. How is that any different than creating it? There is literally no difference. That is how the bbeg funds his space war.
>>63991133I have. It's just such a boring story that I tend to forget details. Not much of it stuck. I remember there's a separate gold affinity, I don't remember there being other specific metal affinities.
>>63991153The difference it that not just anyone can create metal if they have an affinity, they need a grove too. >>63991133The metal affinity does cover all metals, iirc, but there's also specific affinities for specific metals. It's a point that the MC needed the gold affinity if he wanted to grow gold specifically in his grove, and not just wait and hope for gold to grow with just his metal affinity.
>>63991175>The difference it that not just anyone can create metal if they have an affinity, they need a grove too.Which literally anyone can get. Even the robot gets a grove.
>>63991196Yeah, that's true. Still, it's worth mentioning.
>>63991209>>63991196So you can just create limitless amounts of gold?

>>63991345Was thinking of either going Emiya or Ainsworth once the Legends jumps are all out.
What did you do in Batman/Superman TAS?

How do you bully womanlets /jc/?
>>63991710Bully them less than other people, say that nature has already bullied them enough.
What skills, perks or something else do you recommend before jumping Sidereals?
>>63991710I know of only one person to bully on my chain... And every woman in Wheel of Time. Those women suck.
>>63991710I don't. Why would I want to bully people? Bullying hurts feelings, anon. Hurting feelings is mean.

>>63991726Luck perks, ones for avoiding trouble or being underestimated are extremely handy too. Perks where you find powerful allies or where powerful beings take a shine to you are good too. Basically the usual shit that's handy in high risk settings (extra lives etc.).
>>63991778Bully because it hurts feelings anon.
>>63991826Where do you draw the line between "fun" bullying and "emotional abuse" bullying?
>>63991845This is 4chan. Everyone is a cuck.
>>63991853About at suicide.
>>63991853>"emotional abuse"Literally does not exist except as a concept to coddle weak-willed shitheads.
What did you do to stop the Tengu menace?
>>63991822Do you have any particular suggestions? The only perk for getting the favor of powerful beings that I can recall right now is Strange Love and... No. Just no. That perk is not a way of avoiding trouble in Exalted, it is the opposite.
>>63991905Waited for a better Touhou jump.
>>63991726Planning perks. The Great Curse tends to make Sidereals pridefully obsess over inane, excessively Machiavellian plans to do simple things. Having perks to make you a great planner will massively mitigate the worst of it.
>>63991935Not him but Xianxia Protagonist from Generic Xianxia does most of that.
>>63991966Physical attacks don't work against youkai and tengu are faster than bullets anyway. You need magic.
>>63992016Depends on the setting. But "bullet" describes a form, not a specific method. You can make all sorts of fast and magical things that are still bullets.
>>63991905I wore spats.>>63991366I think I was a scientist?Like, an actual in-world scientist. I got paid money to do science.DC Jumps are weird in that I usually end up getting some kind of semi-regular-if-fantastical job there, if the environment allows for it. Like, in Batman I just went to work for Wayne Tech. And then in Superman I went to work for Lex Corp. And in Arrowverse I was a secretary at STAR Labs (and also a gorilla). Like, I dunno what it is about DC jumps and me just saying "Sign me up for a 9-to-5 paycheck!" but I'm there, apparently.Conversely, in Marvel jumps I tend to just be homeless. Not sure what's up with that.>>63990457I have occasionally belted out a villain song, yes. The one I did in Mad Max was particularly good. I was a fullplate armour wearing midget with a cape three times as big as I was, and I fucking danced in a factory while my gang provided backup. That guy on the flamethrower guitar sure can play!
>>63990269Do we have a conan jump or anyone making one?
>>63990269so after the Galacta Jump, I take it I can turn all my companions into heralds, any other good jumps to empower them, I want to give Omega level telepathy to them as well, is there a way to just do that or is it best to only get it from a jump.also for planets I have taken over/grown fond of. would it be possible to create my own pocket galaxy and put them there, along with making/taking stars, moons and such. I'm talking Lifebringer Galactus here
>>63991935Bretonnia and Smartphone Isekai both have "gods are nice to you" perks which if nothing else will make the paperwork easier.
>>63990971Damn man thats harsh to see in the morning. Im going back to work.
>>63992087any other good jumps to empower themGeneric Isekai still has the best companion empowerment option,But with Marvel Magic you can ascend them all into low Marvel gods.

Is there anything worth recommending Touhou for beyond waifuism?
>>63991366Prepared to be a founding member of the Justice League. Fucked Kara Zor El and a few/lot others, debated on WW but got her together with Bats.
>>63992087>ould it be possible to create my own pocket galaxy and put them there, along with making/taking stars, moons and such. I'm talking Lifebringer Galactus here.Couple of ideas here:1. Take one of the Dimensional Pocket powers from either DC and Marvel Magic, then take the Mortal Kombat tournament perk and have your Heralds fight people in Mortal Kombat. Thereby growing your dimension and taking the world in.2. Dragonball super has a galaxy perk. That you should be able to have a copy of the worlds you been to in there.
>>63990457I caused an entire stick of 40’s era paratroopers to belt out Megadeth. Does that count?
Solo leveling is edgy but interesting to.
Happy Friday, everyone.I hope you all enjoy whatever it is you're doing today, whether it's jumpchain or not.For me, it's mostly going to be not, I think.
>>63992141Weird conceptual bullshit powers. Fun stories. Cool OST.
>>63992339>interestingMaybe if it's the first edgy korean dungeon novel you read. I've dropped at least 10 of them, and Solo Leveling is basically yet another exact copy.

>>63992619Eh, I'm the kind of guy who thinks weaponisation is more fun than bullying for bullying's sake you know? Why leave that hormonal cocktail fizzling away impotently, when you can HARNESS the potential of the angry shortstack? Teach them to master it. Refine it. Train it, and push it to the limits in a gruelling series of mystic and martial training courses. Hone it into a destructive force of nature the likes of which the world has NEVER SEEN BEFORE.I don't bully shortstacks. I USE shortstacks to bully everyone else.

I can't afford to let that talent go to WASTE! http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Eugene_Judd_(Earth-616)Like, this is the only little person Marvel hero I can find. No, The Wasp and Hank Pym don't count because they use weird mutant powers/particles to shrink down. My power is clearly some kind of Celestial experiment that uses the shorty genes as a marker to converge and accelerate pure kinetic energy!I probably made more of them with Skill Creator in Medaka Box. I wonder if I'd get powers that harmlessly (to the projectiles, at least) electrify/set on fire/gravity warp the midgets? Or powers that manipulate bigger than average people instead? The point is, there's a reason why the Nac Mac Feegle are so feared on the Disc. Ironically my power would be less effective against them because there's so many of 'em.>>63992680Rome. Persia. Britain. What do the great empires of the world have in common? I've been doing some half-assed research on it since it started playing on Adult Swim, and apparently there's a guy with psychic gravity control? And he actually uses it to control density in his body (and the air, and just about anywhere he feels like, really). You could probably do something similar! Y'know, with sufficient pyro/electro/gravakinetic powers from any source (gravity's pretty rare in the chain, but the others are much less so), just wreathe them in whatever element or increase their density and chuck them. You'd only need to immunize them against any elements before you hurled them across the room.>>63992822 >>63992830> Fun is a detriment to the ideal universal ruler.> The timing on these posts.Once again we have inadvertently been marked as enemies.
If you're a bad jumpmaker, then you're a bad person. Something to keep in mind.
>>63993075Not...yet. But Morrison came damn close to saying "Darkseid knows but doesn't give a fuck" because in Final Crisis there's one panel where his soul finishes assuming direct control of Dan Turpin. Because there's just this one page where Darkseid is looking at the reader. And giving the thumbs down. The same comic was the debut of Mandrakk the multiversal vampire who is part of a race of cosmic beings that apparently embodies DC's editorial staff. And the carrier from the Authority is just their NANOTECH.
>>63993166The reason I love Marvel is because it doesn't have any silly, unrealistic campy shit like that.
>>63993155I can't prove your claim, but I do have anecdotal evidence supporting it. I'm an awful person, and I am terrible at making jumps. Still, one data point is hardly enough, we're going to need to do a study.
>>63991366Harley Quinn.Just kidding; I ran in the mayoral election for Gotham City. It went well, until it didn’t.
>>63993212It totally does, it's just done more poorly so you don't hear about the largely unmemorable stories it happens in.
>>63993212Nah, it just has a really old time traveller retroactively trying to hook up a woman and a robot together to stop the woman's offspring from becoming intergalactic conquerors. Also, an ape-man that make women fall in love with him.
>>63993155I don't need you to tell me I'm a bad person, I already know that.
Would Batman call Superman in on a jumper that was too much for him to handle?
>>63993351Yeah, he's not that stupid when not written by a shitty writer.
>>63993212Anon, I hate to be the one to tell you this, but Marvel is totally full of campy bullshit. It's campy bullshit all the way up to the brim. The difference is that Marvel holds itself a little more seriously and likes to pretend it has logic when it really doesn't, and DC is happy enough to just use crazy space magic and say it works. The very best explanation I ever heard for it was comparing them to Star Wars and Star Trek. DC is Wars, Marvel is Trek. Trek might pretend to be a little more serious most of the time, but if you actually think it is, I have a perfectly stable holodeck I'd like to sell you fresh off the Enterprise.
Reminder that all comics jumps are traps that aren't representative of canon at all because they're far, far too weak and full of street level OC in a setting where basically everyone is a causal planet buster, and that it's your duty to insult and berate Red over that fact.
>>63993429Also, Marvel doesn't have a bazillion reboots so all the crazy shit is actually in continuity, even if a writer occasionally try to force it to make sense.
>>63993435Kingdom Come can net you full Flash AND Superman powers. Drawbacks you need to take for it are really easy to deal with too.
>>63993492Not powerful enough to survive the setting though, everyone else is vastly more powerful than the Flash and Superman combined, including the Flash and Superman. It's not representative of the setting at all, and that's just a minor example of how shitty and full of weak OC all comics jumps are.
>>63993435Even if you couldn't buy a single perk it's usually possible to become a terrifying Frankenstein of superpowers simply by knowing when to be somewhere or where to go to pick up the Bejeweled Scepter of Everlasting Unlimited Reality Warping several years before it becomes plot relevant.
>>63993212Anon, have you never heard of the time an amnesiac Flash showed up in a cosmic race in Marvel, under the alias of 'Buried Alien'?Because that was a thing that happened.
>>63993534And thank goodness for that. Too bad nerfwhores like Red will always try to 'bad' anything that could help you in the setting but his shitty OC
>>63993528It's enough to survive the setting if you don't do something stupid like take the Anti-Monitor on a one-on-one fight to the death, moron.
>>63993528What is your goal with the setting that you need to be stronger than everybody else combined?
>>63993528If you're doing a bit, no one's laughing.
>>63993580Superman could kill you with a thought even if you were a Kryptonian with Speedforce Unity. The jump isn't representative of the actual powerlevel of comics.>>63993591It's not about being stronger, it's about not being the weakest character in the setting, which the jump makes you.
>>63993613>Superman could kill you with a thought even if you were a Kryptonian with Speedforce Unity...You're a complete idiot.
>MCU gives you the option to look like thanosLadies and Gentlemen, here's your Jumper for tonight.
>>63993429Marvel was into the "crazy space magic" game LONG before DC. That's what made early runs of the Fantastic Four great. And most of the crazy space magic in DC itself comes from when Kirby, who wrote practically all the aforementioned Marvel crazy space magic, switched companies
>>63993610He's obviously doing a bit, dummy.
>>63993591To wave my massive dick around. More seriously though I tend to just wander into the room as superhero origin stories take place or take a weekend to go assemble the Underwear of the Living Tribunal because I don't really have anything better to do. I'm like some kind of cosmic jackdaw that collect shinies to one-shot the latest multiversal cosmic threat to all existence.
>>63993642What’s with the shoes?
>>63993692You don't wear timbs?
What is the best jump to have satanic orgies in? Non-lewd jumps only.
>>63993707I’m not a basic bitch, so no?
>>63993736Harry Potter. Wank that it’s the My Immortal universe.WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING YOU MOTHERFUKERS indeed.Alternatively, HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

>>63993736Chick Tracts. More than half the population workship Satan in this universe.
>>63993783and you mean the kosher SB RWBY, yes?
Did the maker ever post this in the thread? I just found it in the drive.
>>63993783Well yeah, who wants to actually put up with the "plot"?
>>63993801SB anything is haram, Anon. You know this in your heart.
>>63993879No.It was never posted.Get that shit outta here. Delete it. Burn it. also I swear to god this topic's come up like five times now.
>>63992887That's far from the worst problem with that jump, and unfortunately the jumpmaker is gone so it's not going to get fixed.
>>63993783Is there a Semblance you could build to make this easy? Like some kind of super-assassination ability?
>>63993879For the fourth time now, no.
So, what is a good bug form to have?I've been thinking of choosing either a elephant beetle (pic related) or some kind of trapdoor spider
>>63994015Only bug form to have.
>>63994015Moth. Be very fluffy.
>>63993938Well you could probably make a semblance that grants temporary invisibility and makes your attack do massive damage if they're unaware of you with the semblance builder. It wouldn't be out of place in canon considering how freeform semblances get.
>>63994015Be Mothra. Mothra is a good giant moth.
>>63994015>So, what is a good bug form to have?Kamen Rider.
>>63993938You could definitely build a memory blanking presence concealment semblance. Probably make it even more powerful by making it so people you kill or injure with it also forget about their injuries/are forgotten that they were even alive
>SB thinks Val will include an Enbringer origin in Worm>even YJ apparently thinks soLmao. There's no escaping your powerwanking reputation, Val. It will forever haunt you. Space whale origin when?
Just buy Tier 5 in every category. Then you can kill everything short of Salem yourself and only not Salem because she's immortal.
>>63994296>>63994506>Semblence: Invisibility>Allows it's user to erase themselves and objects from people's memories and senses, teleport anywhere outside of sight, make people ignore injuries or deaths, and can precisely control the intensity of the effect and its targets yeah, that's about what I expect from an SB RWBY jump
>>63994555It’s called 4plebs dummy.
>>63992592>Bruce Wayne was pretty ecstatic until he found out I was ALSO doing this to lay the groundwork for my own nefarious ends by building a legitimised supervillain conspiracy. A Legion of Doom, if you will. Why did you need a legion of doom exactly?
>>63994602Unless she changed her mind massively, the only thing that'll be included is a power to control Endbringer-like beings that are still weaker than normal Endbringers.
>>63994588If you're going to blow more than a thousand CP on a power of course it's going to be strong.
>>63993070Nah, you get three Beyond stands and own the setting. Just like Umineko.
I haven't been keeping up with jumpchain the past month or so, are there any jumps currently being made?
>>63994630That’s not what I’m reading in the archives, but I might have missed it. Got a post you can point me towards to back up what you’re saying?
>>63994666You can't tell Beyond what to do though, Satan.
>>63994610Do not as "Why make your own Legion of Doom?" Rather ask, "Why not?"
>>63994687https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/63717265/#63718102Apparently there's gonna be a whole section for Endbringer powers, and they'll grow to become as strong as the real ones. Not sure how I feel about that, but uh... yeah. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if I had misremembered and she's still including an Endbringer origin.
>>63994706You don't actually do anything with a BEYOND, you just follow it. But really, BEYONDs related to the hero of the story, in a multiverse where every high-tier being runs on stories and meta-narratives is a pretty powerful thing.
>>63994687Val's decided to get the power update out before trying to write an EB option and eventually a second set of origins due to the original tiered list of powers she had being lost. Anon is probably misinformed due to all the new discussion being solely about powers.
>>63994760>We are getting boring edgy heroes instead of ROMETitus. Get the cross.
Has anyone actually been keeping up with Ajin? Like, for a time I know a few people were interested in a jump for it, but then everyone just stopped talking about it entirely. If there is anyone who is up to date, is there anything that would actually be interesting to see in a jump, other than the core immortality mechanic, and a few generic intellect/combat perks?Aside from waifus, I mean. In cases where waifus aren't the main focus of a setting, there's no way to motivate a decent jump into existence on boner power alone. Assuming there are any good ones, as I said, I got bored and stopped watching early on.
>>63994797Nero is rapebait.
>>63994746Jesus Christ. An assortment of Endbringer powers. Remember when Worm was about a bunch of street level heroes and a very few flying bricks and Tony Starks banding together despite where they normally sat on the hero/villain slime to try and fight of world ending monsters? And most of them dying in every attempt? Just so the whole fucking world didn't die? That's the whole point to the setting. Handing out power levels like that from that kind of setting is just insane.
>>63994827It's Valeria, you know the only reason she's writing it is to get Endbringer powers.
>>63994827No, the point of the setting is to wank Taylor's "tactical brilliance" and "hard woman making hard decisions". Everything else is irrelevant. You can do that just as much when incredible power levels are in play as when things are street level, the thousands of shitty Worm fanfictions are proof of it.
>>63994797Fuck Rome. We're getting grimderp heroics, then we're getting eldritch lolis, then we're getting book lolis, and you're gonna love it whether you want it or not.
>>63994822You can't rape the willing.
>>63994866>thinking the story is actually praising TaylorGood job on outing yourself as an illiterate moron who can't even grasp a fucking webnove.
>>63994881I'm going to prove you wrong.
>>63994817It would be cool to have a jump for it yes, though I haven't really kept up with recent chapters.
>>63994822Do not rape your emperor, anon. You have happy consensual sex with her.
>>63994900I didn't say praise, I said wank. I think that "Taylor is actually a pretty horrible person and if you just stopped to think about it for a minute you'd realize it" is definitely a major theme of the story. That doesn't change the fact that the narrative gives her far more agency than she deserves and warps itself at many points in order to protect her and give her opportunities to be "badass".
>>63994827This is the jumpmaker who lets you be Yog-Sothoth for 700 points, anon. Why are you surprised?
>>63994848I'm sure some part of my brain knew that but it's still shocking to get slapped across the face with it.
>>63994797>>63994879If you want Nero wank just go to Fate/Extra.
>>63994935I want Nero to wank me though
>>63994817They have been stuck like a year or so in that military base. It's been kind of boring. >>63994935But I want to be Nero.
>>63994927But she's a tiny, prideful, big tits lady, every bit says rapebait.
>>63994928>far more agencyShe has a top tier power, even though Taylor at the beginning and the fanbase as a whole seem unable to grasp that. It's only natural for her to have agency. And as for the story "warping itself" for her, well, she's still the protagonist. Would you have her sitting out at the end when Scion rampages?
Have you harems already gotten out of hand?
Can you become both, a Technomancer and a Wizard in the Shadowrun jump at the same time?
>>63994935Extra and CCC are way harder on Nero then literally anything else with her. Extella and Grand Order are apologetic and while Extra is to a degree it makes it pretty clear she was and is a fairly awful person.
>>63994995She is also kind and is usually the one to take the initiative. Chances are that it would be pretty easy to convince her to have mana transfer sessions. Also you don't hurt cute things.
>>63995015>Wins in the end thanks to the power of Mary Sue>Hard on her
>>63995006Oh that's every day for me ever since I waifud Abby, Medb and Kiara.Teleportation, can't live without it.
>>63994995No, it says rough, but consensual, breeding.
>>63995036>Thinking you can escape a Beast and Yog-Sothoth with teleportationI'm sorry for you anon, they are probably going to teleport you into their vaginas. Kiara probably a bit literally.
>>63995036Get a replication power. That way your clones can bring them company and everyone is happy.
>>63995034This is how all Hakunos servants win. Tamamo and Emiya are also crap tier compared to the actually good heroes in Extra. But because Hakuno is more determined to win then everyone else they keep winning.
>>63995066Fortunately I have a private pocket dimension to take refuge in.No girls allowed.
>>63995007The jump doesn't forbid it if you spend the CP. The game rules and fluff do though, so you'll definitely get the kind of megacorp attention you don't want, even beyond that a normal technomancer already gets.
>>63995030Hurting cute things is good.
>>63995006It amuses me to collect hypersexual wives and then blue ball them so yes. They were out of hand from the moment I added the second wife.
>>63994827I've always liked Val's jumps in the past but the Supergod argument last night kind of soured them for me. The fact that she's apparently just willing to straight up ignore what is canon in lieu of forming a headcanon with no real evidence to back it up is irksome. I've never really bought the Valeria powerwank narrative but that bullshit last night has made me think it might just be true.
>>63994555Val, make being a worm an scenario. You need to defeat scion then you will become an worm with a blank state (No powers). If you can defeat one then it's not bullshit to become one, right?
What does your jumper tend to do in setting they trivialise?> first thing to come to mindYes, of course, what would they do if their harem needs were already accomplished?
>>63995372Depends on the setting. I have functionally unlimited resources so in modern settings it's fun just to see what exists on the internet and in media. TV, videogames, the local YouTube equivalent. Sightseeing is fun too. Joining the local political structure is sometimes a good time. Sometimes you just go straight for conquer the world and fuck up the plot from the get go.Other times it's more fun to follow along with the plot and make little changes to affect in ways you want.In more fantasy settings, conquest is typically the first order of business.
>>63995356What cinched it for me is that she's so willing to shit on other jumpmakers for doing the same thing then when called out on it she switched to claiming everyone else isn't honest and was trying to get her. It's one thing to not care, it's another to act like you're justified and say someone else isn't.
>>63995356I can't believe it took something like that just to get you to see it. It's a fucking fact that you can come to terms with just looking at what she makes.
>>63995452Didn't she only start on that after someone accused her of bullying Worm and Nubee to get her way with them?
Eclipse, Moonshadow or Fiend?
>>63995372Research and train. I have tons of magic, tech knowledge and various ki and martial arts abilities that i can always develop further so it's not like i get bored if i have to spend 10 years in a muggle jump. With plenty of breaks for beach vacations and other outings of course. All work and no play is boring even if you enjoy the work. The one thing i generally don't do is massively alter a setting. I figure i can save that kind of stuff for my post-spark self since 10 years isn't really enough time to do it properly.
>>63995356I can't believe you're so stupid that even after that argument you're still persisting in saying Val ignores criticism, when she explained in no uncertain terms that it was fucking canon and that she wasn't going to change the jump on account of your headcanon. Not her headcanon, yours, because you're wrong.
>>63995539Fiend, my friend.
>>63995539Eclipse, all the fun of being a Solar with none of the baggage inherit to the other two
>>63995452>>63995356>>63995500Stop samefagging, it's pathetic.
>>63995539Eclipse. Moonshadow is just Eclipse but worse. Fiend would be better on account of Infernal stuff, but gets dragged down massively by it being the Ebon Dragon's caste.
>>63995521I don't blame them for thinking that when Worm could have given it to anyone, or just said anyone could replace it. Instead, it was handed DIRECTLY to Valeria. Like everything involving Valeria, it's kinda sketchy.
>>63995521She's been making the accusation of anyone giving criticism being shitposters for a while now, anon. It's not hard to imagine someone else taking it to an extreme with how stubborn and prideful she can get.
>>63995548>>63995571I see the white knight woke up.
>>63995582Are you suggesting that Worm died a long time ago and that Valeria has been using his trip since then just with the intention to replace all of his jumps?
>>63995356I skimmed it. Wasn't it that neither side had evidence of it being one or the other? There was a reference of the guy the power is based on saying he just walked to some site, but no frames of him doing so, and he arrived there quick enough, undetected that it couldn't have just been normal walking? But there was no reason for him to lie either, so if taken at face value he just walked. That didn't make sense though with the other stuff brought up.
>>63995571Get back in your cuckshed, NuBee.
>>63995356Stop lying, you never liked valeria's jumps, you just like to pretend you do so you can shitpost other jumpmakers, but you always shitposted vals jumps whenever you could because you don't care about the actual quality of the jumps, you just hate this community.
>>63995561>one of the base charms essentially forces you to lie whenever possible and penalizes you when you tell the truth
>>63995452I don't even know about that. I don't pay enough attention to stuff like that to comment on it, but it was just the absurdity of it. It felt like a rehash of the "you can't disprove God" debate two days ago. Val formed this headcanon with no logical basis, and instead of providing any concrete basis for it, she had counter-evidence shown which she seemed to ignore while repeating that her interpretation couldn't be disproved. I'm not good enough at arguing to have really given any input, but I couldn't believe that she was actually serious at first. It felt like parody. It's like, I can't disprove that Taylor from Worm doesn't have some meta-luck power bundled with her shard, and you could make a convincing argument for it. She regularly gets into and out of stupidly dangerous situations that should kill her, but that does not imply that it exists, nor does it mean it should be included in the jump as a part of her power. It's pure headcanon at that point based on stuff that is assumed. There's no reason to believe it except for meta reasons, like:"Well Taylor couldn't have survived those situations without something like that.""Well Djjal couldn't have moved that distance without something like that."It fucked me up mayne.>>63995500Well, come to Jesus moment I guess.>>63995548>>63995571Your baiting has not improved since last night.
>>63995602>>63995607Nice to see you Timmy. How's your mom?
How do i create drinks that give powers. I want to start an market.
>tfw you can not tell if it is one anon samefagging or two anons samefagging, each believing they have an active audience on the hook.
>>63995640>my waifu can't possibly be wrong!>it must be THE SHITPOSTERThis is what you sound like.
>>63995584She does it so that her shitposter brigade will come to bail her out. For someone who supposedly hates them she sure relies on them a lot to do her dirty work.
>>63995638Just a Drop from Witches gives freeform potion making. I'm not sure if it can be industrialised, but there's always the infinite fluid generator from Terraria if it can't.
>>63995605It was really more that the timeline didn't really give any frame of reference and was really sloppy with what was going on. In the same issue that one guy walked from Iran to India, another guy flew from the US to India, but the guy who walked got there first. The timeline isn't strong enough to really matter in the context of what was going on, because everyone got there at really weird times based on where they were coming from and how they got there. In the absence of that, the only evidence that exists is what the Time guy said, which was counter to Valeria's interpretation.
>>63995619>lol if a character moves 4000 kilometers in a short few days and says to the fucking reader that he can fucking time travel, that's not evidence that the character can do the things they've been observed to fucking do and said they can fucking doStop. You don't actually believe in your own argument, you just want to stir shit with Val by arguing over what isn't canon on the basis of nothing, so fucking stop. It's not just pointless, it's actively malicious.
>>63995640The only thing i can tell is that the stupidity level is over nine thousand tonight. Again.I'll go do something else now and come back next thread when the morons are hopefully done arguing their namefag drama.
>try to sexually harass Nero>she just enjoys the attention and says to do it more Help, this isn't working.
>>63995684Oh, that's fair then. What about the part about him showing up beside that guy who can sense things around him from a long ways away? Did that get resolved?
Evangellion metaphysics confuse the Hell out of me. What steps would I need to take to do all the same shit as giant-Rei, and send out hallucinations of people's loved ones to tang-ify them?Even if it's not exactly the same as giant-Rei, I just want some means to weaponize the methods of the human instrumentality project in future worlds.
>>63995685>can do the things they've been observed to fucking do and said they can fucking doYou chant it over and over but that doesn't make it true, Val.
>>63994827>street levelNigga, half of the powers we actually know about are "absolute".
>>63995684Except, he can time travel, so it's not counter at all. You're just asserting your headcanon over actual canon against the person who made the jump, so shut the fuck up and accept that Dajjal can move through time.
It really is so obvious when he's around. No lifer woke up at 2pm.
>>63995673I can believe it, if last night and this thread is any indication. Instead of admitting she messed up, she played the victim card and waited for her brigade to come defend her. It's sad.
I'm the one who went to Val and asked if she could take it. The IRL stress combined with trying to work around a lot of first jump mistakes that I'd do a lot differently now was killing my love and enjoyment of a series I love in spite of its faults and jumpchain as a whole.I went to Val because she's a good friend, she's more productive by far, and we've talked a ton about the series and I know she loves it as much as I do. She took it despite the inevitable flak, which I appreciate.I don't want to bite bait or feed shitposting, but I want everybody to know that in case anyone genuinely believes any of this. Thanks for listening anons.
>>63995619>It felt like a rehash of the "you can't disprove God" debateYou cannot just assume that things you can't prove are real, dipshit.
>>63995727>my waifu can't possibly be wrong!>it must be THE SHITPOSTERThis is what you sound like.
>>63995685>>63995725Still bait, still bad m8.
>>63995574Weren't castes and Yozis separate? I think I remember something about how the Yozis would never have trusted the ED with all the Fiend exaltations.
>>63995737Can you please take it back then?
>>63995727If I'm being serious, I don't think anyone who's responded to shitposting wasn't the shitposter samefagging for several entire threads. Like, people talk a lot about how everyone is always biting the bait, but I don't think anyone bites the bait, I think the guy just responds to himself a lot. I think that's the only responses he gets, the ones he makes. Every person who bites bait is actually a samefag.
>>63995739That was my point. Valeria was taking the "since you can't disprove it, I must be correct" argument. Everyone was saying that Djall has no such evidence of being able to do things, but since no one could prove that, Valeria ignored it,
>>63995612Wouldn't Toggle work on that, even if it is a permanent Charm? Also, iirc that charm is only necessary to get the advanced "dark mirror" copy charms, although I may be mistaken.
>>63995737Femoid Prime has still got you leashed huh.
>>63995782Except he said he can. So you're wrong. He can.
>>63995737Why does the jump need to be changed at all? It's one of the best jumps on the drive.
What are the most powerful elements available in jumpchain? Im talking things like the fires from battle through the heavens or other such rare elements. I was looking to get a bunch of them together to create something useful for my xianxia sect.
>>63995795He never said as such, and we are not rehashing this again.
>>63995777The Trips of Truth.
>>63995801Because Val's shitposting squad kept getting on his ass claiming he needed to add more power to compete or let them kill Scion.
>>63995753The Urges given to the different Castes are seperate, yeah. But the Fiends are still all going to have Ebby as their Caste Yozi.I mean, I /guess/ you could only focus on your Favored Yozi. But that's kinda crippling yourself.
>>63995737>I must defend the woman's honorFuck off.
>>63995737You're /jc/'s best girl. Any news on Necrons?
>>63995833The entire point of Worn is that nobody is a threat to Scion. That's why they didn't even beat him in a fight. They just bullied him about his dead wife until he essentially committed suicide.
>>63995777Well, I bite the bait fucking constantly, and I know I didn't make the bait, or want the shitpostinfg to continue. I just don't usually think before I respond. I have no way to confirm that literally every other response to bait is just the shitposter, but I can pretty resolutely confirm that not literally every response is samefagging.I don't even usually realize bait is bait until after the fact, hindsight is 20-20 and all that.
>>63995715I'm not entirely sure myself. Iirc it was something like giant-Rei emitting some kind of massive anti-AT-field that basically breaks the containers of our souls and lets the material of the soul (the tang) flow out, or something like that. Also, it's worth noting that if I remember correctly the jump counts personally causing Instrumentality by merging with Adam/Lilith as chain failure (at least before moving on to the next jump, I don't know what happens if you companion Kaworu and/or Rei to cause Instrumentality somewhere else).
>>63995864Same desuI'm often calling people nigger before I realize I got baited
>>63995864An advice: when you're convinced someone is a shitposter, don't respond to them.
>>63995715You might be able to do something similar in a slightly smaller scale by becoming a god in Oasis and picking the right Authorities.
>>63995864You are a shitposter, at the very least.
>>63995864Well, get it together then and stop enabling him. Think a bit before biting. I guarantee he will eventually get tired of replying to himself if everyone else ignores him.
>>63995864>Everyone I disagree with is a shitposterThe oldest trick in the book.
>>63995830We're talking about a character that gets what, two pages, less than 10 lines of dialogue? The text says what he can do, and you've ignored what the text actually says to interpret Dajjal as not having the abilities he actually has. Val interpreted the text correctly. So, yes, he said that, and no, I'm going to insist that you get over yourself and admit you're the one who's wrong.
>>63995861Yeah but /tg/ if full of autistic power mongers so they have to prove their dick size by killing the biggest baddie they know. Wouldn't surprise me if Val let it happen just to get more power out of it.
>>63995850Waifuing worms is verboten.I'll try and post a WIP Sunday, I know its bait but the shitposter has a point, I've been too unproductive and need to get something out or I'm going to just keep going on inertia.>>63995801I'm not saying it has to be changed, just that it could be better and I can't help but feel bummed when I look at my old work.I gotta go to work. Have a good day guys.

>>63995924Age of Oasis.
>>63995914So stop listening to Val's shitposters and do stuff instead of trying to compete against Nubee.
>>63995914>Waifuing worms is verboten.Jumpers are fond of forbidden things.
>>63995715Gain absolute dominion over the souls of terrestrial life by fusing two Seed of Life terraformer-constructs (themselves made of the souls of the dead alien species known as the First Ancestral Race), allowing you to create an "Anti-AT Field" that dissolves the boundaries between living things and then invite the affected to come join their dead loved ones in your colossal god-womb.
I wish every thread had IDs. Would make shitposters so much easier to identify
>>63995864>>63995882You see this? >>63995909It's bait. Don't reply to it. You can tell it's bait because they are saying falsehoods with a smug air of superiority in order to irritate you and force you to respond. That's the goal. Don't fall for it. Let them be wrong and don't give them replies. They will move on if they get no bites.Any time a post makes you angry due to how wrong the conveyed opinion is while it sounds very smug of condescending, it's almost certainly bait. Do not bite.
Is the Malefactor caste any good? It makes sense to pick both a social caste and one that focuses in crafting and spells, but iirc Daybreak is only necromancy and necrotech so that would leave only Twilight and Malefactor out of the solaroid exaltations.
>>63995724No, three of them are. Clockblocker, Flechette and Siberian.
>>63995785It would, the charm's Charisma penalty should only be active while the entire thing's active.
>>63995988And Grey Boy, Contessa, August Prince, etc.
>>63995985>Anyone who disagrees with me is baiting, my opinion can't possibly be wrong!
>>63995985It would be easier to ignore if Val didn't immediately use it to try and further her agenda, so if it's not addressed she just keeps on doing stupid shit.
>>63995946They say the forbidden fruit is the sweetest.
>>63995997No, all of those were beaten by other powers. Not absolute.
>>63995782>That was my pointBullshit, religious idiot.
>>63995998Exactly, glad you understand.
>>63995999This is also bait guys. Just in case you couldn't figure it out.
>>63995997Both GB and Contessa are countered in the story.
>>63995999Trips of truth right here.
>>63995737I usually think the best way to proceed with this stuff is to just ignore it since shitposters are going to shitpost, but might as well refresh stances every once in a while so people don't get the wrong idea, right?Neither Val nor I likes having anyone shitposting for or against us. Some like to claim we're waiting for shitposting squads to bail us out of things. That is also bullshit. If everyone could talk things out evenly and orderly instead then that'd be great. I know that's probably not going to happen right now, that sucks. People can now look this post up on 4plebs every time a shitposter goes "b-but muh approval!" Quit being vitriolic, there's no approval of being assholes to one another. It's not cool, it's not productive, no one is gaining anything from it.Val doesn't talk down to either Worm or I either. Val actively goes out of her way to make me feel better if I'm ever feeling the lightest bit down, frustrated or upset. I don't really like how her being mean to me or something is repeated as fact and people unaware of things accept it. Her encouragement is basically one of the main reasons I'm still here instead of leaving a while back. I have a massive temper and if she didn't act as the voice of reason I probably would have dropped out, but I haven't and I'm glad since I do have fun in here when some people aren't trying to be shitty to one another. I'm not going out of my way to call everyone in this a shitposter either. God knows I bite bait sometimes too when it's not the basic bitch stuff that gets regurgitated again and again. Want to put that down too.
>>63995979He phoneposts so that wouldn't do much.
>>63995985But what if they have a few genuinely good or just interesting points mixed in with all the condescending wrongness?
>>63996033>anything pointing out Val's shortcomings is baitWhew lad, the namefag worship.
>>63996040You're a good dude NuBee.
There are totally multiple shitposters, but I still thing this whole conversation in the least was all samefagging
>>63996059Sorry you gotta deal with this stuff dude.
>>63996040Naturally, Val sends Nubee to bat for her since sending Worm didn't work.
>>63996040>one of the main reasons I'm still here instead of leaving a while back. >I have a massive temper and if she didn't act as the voice of reason I probably would have dropped outSo you're basically Brows in all but name. >>63996059>You're a good dude NuBee.Don't fall for it? It's a trap! See, first he gets you to like him, then you invite him into your house. Next thing you know, he's stealing all your sugar and setting up deku hives in your flower garden!
>>63996056Ignore them. Their points don't matter, their argument doesn't matter, it's all shitposting, hide all posts responding to it because half of them are samefags.
>>63996056Doesn't matter, guess Val wanted both her boyfriends to come in and shit on us for daring to question her.
What are your favorite shapeshifting and/or disguise perks?
>>63996040>If everyone could talk things out evenly and orderly instead then that'd be great.Except people have tried that for the longest time and it just doesn't work. Valeria does not care about the input of others and outright scorns anyone who tries to offer valid input. There is no point in being nice about the topic since that goes fucking nowhere. No matter what Valeria does you will defend her anyways so who honestly gives a shit? The only thing you're doing is trying to look like the "rational one" so you can sway things in your girlfriend's favor. Tell your insane girlfriend to take her meds and fuck off.
>>63996040Tell Val to learn to talk things out too. This isn't a worship thread.
>>63996083>there's nothing wrong with this communityAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
>>63996059Worms belong in naraka or removed from samsara all together.

Too fucking retarded to realize that there's nothing wrong with this community. Actually, you know what? Just fucking leave. We don't need someone who hates everything we stand for.
t b h the fact that the shitposter is sperging out so much and so obviously is a good thing, because it means he's not being subtle at all. If he was smarter, that would be a bad thing, so be glad he's an idiot.
>>63996040It is extremely satisfying to see after all the annoying shit Val does she's finally deservedly shit on so hard she has to send her mangina goons to do her bidding.
>>63996139...the person you're replying too was agreeing with you, idiot.
>>63996157Turn your trip back on, Nubee.
>>63996166Anon, you're the idiot, you failed at reading comprehension.
Am I the only person where chains with extra built-in rewards really rubs me the wrong way?To clarify what I mean, I'm not talking about in-jump options with post-jump rewards, I more mean like people who write chains in such a way that they in some way "ascend" or get some super-duper reward based on their setting's metaphysics that's arguably better than anything they got in the chain?Stuff like jumpers who get to users their benefactor, or who get to ascend into some kind of benefactor-esque god.I mean, you get the spark, you get all your stuff from past jumps, and whatever you got out of your endjump, do you really need anything else? I honestly don't even mind the rewarding of benefits not stated in any jumps, I just feel like putting them on the scale that they make everything acquired all your jumping up until this point redundant just kind of retroactively sours the whole experience.Am I alone in this? I feel like I might be.
>>63996083You forgot to delete your incomplete post >>63996156
>>63996109>You're dumb if you don't believe in my sky daddy!
Has anyone else noticed that Valeria rhymes with Fresh Prince of Bel Airia?Coincidence?
>>63996183Not really. The whole concept of Jumpchan sending some random NEET on a chain is retarded, so her actually having a practical reason to do it isn't any worse.
>>63996157He's a bad shitposter as far as skill goes. The only reason he has any effect at all is because, one, he has zero life or hobbies so he's here 24/7, and because this thread is full of really naive idiots who can't recognize bait.
>>63996197Mate, I was agreeing with you and you called me a religious idiot. You are literally fucking illiterate.
>>63996183>do you really need anything else?No but if you have all that and can freely move between settings you're already effectively a benefactor-esue god.
>>63996183I don't care how other people get their fun because I'm not that petty, so yes you are the only one.
>>63996183I don't really care about what happens after the chain. I've never used an end jump and I don't think I ever will. I just get bored and start a new chain. The spark or whatever doesn't matter at all to me.
>>63996104Venture brothers is powerful for it's scale abilities and the Gravity Falls one seems to copy more than just looks. There might be better ones, but both of these settings are low to mid power which makes them far more tempting for me.Sketchbook has perhaps the best disguise book and function and fun as it lets you just wear a sign saying "human" and people will believe it even when you obviously are not one.
So what is your Supergod build? Personally I just took Godfather three/four times and made myself a viral/information/quantum/evolution Supergod.
>>63996183I thought the idea of you being basically a baby version of what Jump-chan is and she's trying to raise you/perform husbando grooming on you to be kinda hot cool and make enough sense.
>>63996183Nah, I get what you're saying. The ascension should be a product of all you've become through your chain, not something on top of that. Makes for a more natural progression than sudden apotheosis, and fits into whatever themes you've established for yourself better. I actually set things up in my chain to make sure that would be the case, took a bunch of early jumps to give slowly-growing power based around themes (like Exalted Infernals) so that I'd be growing into that cosmic nature throughout.
>>63996183I'm not enough of a loser to care about what someone does in their single-player imagination game.
>>63996222Really, though, who else but a NEET would be desperate enough to BELIEVE what Jump-Chan is saying, never mind leave their reality behind by accepting her offer? The human mind is very good at convincing itself that nothing out of the ordinary is happening. For all you know, you're the very first person to say "yes."
>>63996040>Val doesn't talk down to either Worm or I either. Val actively goes out of her way to make me feel better if I'm ever feeling the lightest bit down, frustrated or upset. Hope you don't off yourself when it ends.
>>63996226I too hate this magical singular shitposter who is somehow here every hour of the day and argues about multiple topics at once.
>>63996290Why wouldn't say yes? It's a Pascal's Wager scenario. Worse thing that can happen is that you are too far gone and hallucinating.
>>63996290I think a lot of people would believe that Jump-chan was real, at least in the moment (they'd probably rationalize it away afterwards). The issue would more likely be people thinking back to all those "be careful what you wish for" stories that would be certain that taking her offer would only backfire on them because she's a malicious genie.
>>63996296Don’t forget he’s been doing this for, what, five years at this point?
>>63996295I hate how common this is nowadays. >A woman says something vaguely nice to me so now I'll defend her to the death because it's the only thing that validates my existence, even if she's entirely wrong.
>>63996296I was the shitposter once. I was literally here 16 hours a day and did basically everything the 'shitposter' is accused of, samefagging, falseflagging, poisoning the well, so there's probably a good reason people here think there's only one, because I was that one person for a while. I'm also pretty sure that the shitposter has changed multiple times, but it's usually one guy, because it looks the same as when I did it.
>>63996290>enough to BELIEVE what Jump-Chan is sayingThis is desperate. >never mind leave their reality behind by accepting her offerThis isn't. People IRL do far worse things for far less. How far people would go for power and immortality has been hugely relevant in fiction and IRL. You don't have to be a NEET to be an asshole, and depending on the metaphysics of the chain, it might not even be being that much of an asshole.
>>63996341Forgive me if I don't exactly believe that totally not horseshit you made up to try to support your tinfoil hat theory.

>>63996341I occassionally do it too but not in a couple months. It is an odd mantle.
>>63996340It's not "says something vaguely nice", NuBee and Val are dating. Your rant should be about men being whipped by their girlfriends, not about lonely incels desperate for positive attention. Get your stupid rants about gender relations right, anon.
>>63996415>NuBee and Val are datingAre we sure they're not engaged at this point?
>It's another meaningless debate about a drama-stirring namefag episodeAll of you faggots have done this shit for years and nothing has changed for it. Please fucking kill yourselves.
>>63996040How much time in the past 24 hours did Val spend crying like a bitch?

Additionally, bankrolling Cadmus gives me access to high-clearance research, so it's really just a prudent decision on my part and nothing personal against the Justice League. Is there a better bodymod than Quicksilver's one?
>>63997509It's the feathers. They grant many benefits>>63997524Well, there was that one time when Valky went to dog days and took the It's So Fluffy! perk several times to increase the softness and volume of their wings. What they didn't count on was that it was only the fluff bit of the feathers that increased (for some reason), not its overall size. As a consequence, they briefly had very big, fluffy wings. Kind of like pic related except with wings.Luckily a bit of shapeshifting took care of it, although Valky did use it once or twice during the Dog Days wars as a massive fluff shield. Wings are much better at shielding a body than a tail they found. This actually came up again when visiting Senko-san, as the kitsune got super jealous of the fluffiness of the wings, and Jumper may have inadvertently started a mini war as the kitsune tried to steal the fluffy secrets of the angels (who they were now convinced existed)

>>63994555I have said that I am planning to about a dozen times over the past few months, including last thread. Maybe you're getting mixed up because lately it's all been focused on the new powers part of the update? I even asked if anyone had suggestions on powers that they'd like to see in the Endbringer section>>63994827You never read the original Worm jump to see what powers were there? The worm jump, in powers and perks, is already based on close to the highest level of power in the setting. Most of the powers are at or a little below world class levels, the perks often have enormous, far reaching effects over entire empires, you can buy the sort of manipulation skills that even Jack Slash only has for Parahumans and so on.The Worm jump is not based around being on Skitter's level. It never was. It's based around being just shy or outright on the level of the Triumvirate. Which isn't a bad thing, the Worm jump doesn't need to stick with Taylor's POV like the story does, especially since people want to tell lots of different stories in it.But the story itself barely sticks to this whole low powered thing, the jump never has.>>63995370No thanks.>>63996201Never seen the show beyond a video file of that one boxing scene.
>>63997703NuBee's is QQ's.
>>63995370You can already do that by being an actual Shard.
>>63997676Why does fanart have to exist? It just makes me want to companion new and different people each time, until I'm just taking everyone in the jump with me somehow.
>>63997816But what about implanting, harvesting and creating shards? You can't imprint abilities and technology on shards.
Worm has always been one of those settings that's not exactly high powered, but is high danger regardless. It's like, nothing is more powerful than early Dragonball Z, but there's just so many fucking things at the level you'll be with great enough variety that there is good chances you'll be killed
>>63997758Or you could give the jump back to Worm_Anon instead of inserting more OC headcanon just to satisfy your build.
>>63997746>>63997763Ah, so it is. My bad.
>>63997870Yes you can. Take the perks that being a shard discounts.
>>63997758>Most of the powers are at or a little below world class levelsCitation fucking neededThe number of heroes with powers that are even mountain level can be counted on one hand. That is disingenuous as fuck. Many of the most powerful powers aren't even that destructive, but rather extremely hyperfocused "absolute" powers like Sting or Siberian. The others that reach that level are typically narrow in scope as well, like Shatterbird or Cherish being able to affect a whole city but being limited in what they actually can do.Only people like the Triumvate and some outliers like Ashbeast are as powerful as to be able to destroy entire cities outright, and Scion far far eclipses that. Worm is not a high power setting, it's just dangerous because everyone and their grandma has some sort of weird trick that can bypass what you thought was a solid defense.
>>63997870Shards eventually grow into full entities once the Cycle has been completed.
>>63997909Just in case nobody realizes it, this is bait. Do not respond to it or any posts arguing with it seriously, it's shitposting.
>>63997909Look at the powers in the jump? They're all mostly top tier stuff and some have the potential to surpass even Eidolon.
>>63997974Val, don't respond to obvious bait for the second thread in a row
>>63997909I don't think she means world busting, I think she means the powers in the Jump are among the best in the world.
>>63997989>>63997952Assholes like you are why Val's jumps have become bland and boring power grabs with OC options. She's being Bancho because of you.
>>63997758Lets see, we got Air, Fire and Water for the big three. How about Earth?Since it is endbringer we are strong as fuck, so it is about manipulating matter (That is to say solid matter instead of liquids or anything else like energy...which theoritically is one and the same, but we are talking about more plain stuff). Also a mother of monsters deal (Aka mook maker Kaiju, or maybe add creating mobile living hives which double the queens type of sub-power or related one?).Maybe the kaiju is as big as the fuck huge gigantic twins and we are a living hive ourselves, maybe mobile, maybe spreading (Or maybe we are akin to an ecosystem like warhammer orks, only a bit more specific and not as infectious to planets). To this add the power to make 'nodes' that gives birth to our minions maybe. Now Stranger powers are also lacking from the gigantic kaiju list, I think that a way to master people could be interesting, something like adding fake semi solid clones that have a parahuman core and their powers...whilst the real endbringer is hiding. Thus it becomes a game of tag, get your people out before the endbringer makes too many clones that destroy the city (Or perma loss of parahumans).Lastly I noted that the writer said that the endbringers were about counter-acting specific tactics humanity made, leviathan to how they united and act as a duelist? Or something.Would be cool if we had perks related to choosing a way to destroy civilizations or alter cultures (That said I am disappointed by the Fallen, I would love a power to act as a semi-divine figure that grants powers to the cultists akin to as if we were a shard yet more low power in some ways or allowing us to fuse shard fuckery+whatever other enhancements we got or to study what those we infect? empower? have. Maybe add a subpower that stores 'prayers'? And the power responds to them? Or at least let us gain a thinker precognition related to our followers)Here are my own suggestions.Did it help?
>>63997643You truly are the best Jumper. I want you along on my Chain.
>>63997758For Endbringer powers, I want something that puts everyone around you to sleep
>>63997974Prove it. There's no evidence that any of the powers in the jump can operate at that level, that's just your headcanon. You're doing the same thing you did with Supergods, where you're adding OC that has no basis in the work itself for no good reason, and you refuse to listen to critique when you're called out on it, hiding behind your legion of shitposter orbiters yet again.
>>63997758Could you give the jump to someone who actually knows the setting? It would be greatly appreciated.
>>63998098She's got Worm and Nubee both trying to compete for her to yell at mean Anonymous too. Can you imagine how laughable this would be if it were any other tripfag?
>>63998045Hmm. A matter controller instead of dynakinesis could be real cool.Maybe it could be some sort of large scale biology making/manipulating power? Having a Endbringer style itself after a xenomorph is some terrifying stuff. I love the idea of it being a living hive too, that's awesomely creepy anon.I actually love that Stranger idea. An Endbringer threat where the Endbringer teleports or appears somewhere inside the city and starts spawning phantom clones of people within that city and it's like the deadliest hide and seek game yet just to find the core body.I can try looking into powers with that challenge thing in mind. Those are some cool perk suggestions. Not sure I can really do the prayer one exactly but the idea of getting cults is definitely one I'll be looking into.Yeah, these are mad helpful, thank you anon.>>63998077We might need a bit more than just that .>>63998098Anon, I'm not going to spend hours debating every power in the jump so I can convince you they're almost all amazing powers to have. I'm not arguing that they can all destroy planets or cities, I'm saying they're all amazing powers and that the jump doesn't mostly focus on being an average Parahuman or Skitter.
>>63997974But they don't though. Even the ones that have been brought up as being massively OP could be replicated by Eidolon himself along with two other powers, and the other Triumvate powers that are available are nerfed to below their level. They do not even come close to Endbringer level, and not a single power in the jump alone is enough to even come close to Endbringer level (barring maybe some clever use of something like Clockblocker's power), because they aren't meant to. The Endbringers are raid bosses that kill a third of every party that attempts to fight them. You aren't meant to be relative to them on a first jump. You shouldn't even have the potential to do so.>>63997989Fuck off.>>63998021Even then, we are talking about including EB powers. That's insane.>>63998098Fuck off.
>>63997974Asking as somebody who has never read Worm, what are these Endbringer things, and why is it such a big deal that you're including them? All I know about them is that they're big kaiju things, or something like that.I know the titular Worm is the transdimensional eldritch thing that all the powers come from, so how do these Endbringers tie into that?
>>63998134It IS laughable, regardless of who it is. Fucking pathetic would be more accurate if it wasn't so funny.

>>63998149They're kind of these Doomsday weapons that were brought with the big monster things that shards come from. Their purpose is to essentially act as a big, stressing threat so more shards will activate, and also to neutralize anyone that might be able to make things better. There's a character called Mannequin from the Slaughterhouse 9 that had a Tinker ability that could have been used to make self-sustaining colonies on the moon and beyond that humanity could have fled too. Instead, one of the Endbringers mind fucked him and he used it to turn his body into a self-sustaining cyborg form loaded with weapons and inevitably joined S9 as a serial killer that targets tinkers. They're not supposed to be beatable except by fluke or massive combined effort, since they'll just leave and repair if it gets close to randomly attack elsewhere.
>>63998205Did you see the new BC2 WIP last thread? I want to know your reaction to the Slaaneshi champion.

>>63998228Kitsune are for fluffing and for pandering Jumper to make sure they are happy.>>63998247Oh, no. I'll check that out now
>>63998144You're going to have to give me some citations on how Eidolon is giving himself Boogie Manimal or Quantum Evolution or Power Well. The only comparable time I remember is when he got Gravity Manipulation and it was clearly much weaker than what the jump describes. Yes, the Tri powers are nerfed, but other powers are not. There are plenty of powers in the jump as good or potentially even much better. It's a little absurd dictating something because you think it's not appropriate for a first jump when any jump can serve as a first jump. I'm aware of what Endbringers are. They're not being offered for free. Becoming one will be expensive and likely have drawbacks linked in to being one related to what Endbringers do. That doesn't mean they shouldn't be offered. The jump offers a lot of things that go against the themes and what features in Worm. Most of the hero perks for instance, particularly the capstones.I don't know what else to say here anon. Beyond this it sorta seems like it's just gonna be your opinion clashing against mine.>>63998149Yeah, they're big kaiju monsters that regularly attack different cities around the world. Real strong, one of the main background threats of the setting. They're creations of one of the 'Worms' in the story, the dead one, and were activated by one of the big heroes without realising it.>>63998217Mmmm. Not sure man. I'll try and make something with it. Focusing on hallucinations, nightmares and the like might be good, especially to try and differentiate it from Simurgh.
>>63997758I've read the original Work jump. I have it saved on my own drive as well. I downloaded it the same day I found out you picked it up to redo it because I knew this is what you were going to turn it into. Allowing people to pick up Endbringer scale powers is just ridiculous. Calling most of the powers offered in the original jump world class is a blatant lie. Sure, they're better than a decent hunk of the powers we see, but only a few set you up at the highest end of supers. None of them are Endbringer level. I'll grant you that some of the perks are a little too powerful for their price point, but you're still exaggerating by claiming most of them have wide ranging effects. And using that as a justification to crank the power level up another notch is childish. You shouldn't be looking at the most powerful thing in a world and balancing everything around Jumpers being able to punch it in the dick moment one. I know youre probably going to think I'm shit posting. I can't prove to you that I'm not in any fashion you believe. I'm just a fan of Worm's original work and don't want to see the power meter cranked up an extra notch just because you feel like it. Despite all this, I want you to know I don't hate you. I disagree passionately with you, but I don't think you deserve the shit posting that follows you around.
>>63998265Kitsune are dumb foxes and you should keep a big, angery dog girl around to chase them away.
>>63998241Nobody but Eidolon, who has a shard that shouldn't be in circulation, can actually put an Endbringer in danger. In a regular cycle they are unbeatable. Even if you strip them out of all their outer layers, you don't impede them in the sightless. At most the combined efforts of all the big players were able to strip some outer layers.
>>63998281>Beyond this it sorta seems like it's just gonna be your opinion clashing against mine.Kind of like every conversation with you.
>>63998143>Maybe it could be some sort of large scale biology making/manipulating power? That is terrifying (Like adding templates then? Example-DnD dire template only on /all/ animals out there and maybe humans? With sapient beings taking a hit to intelligence and wisdom so to speak until the power grows if endbringer powers could grow). Also if you add tinker powers, it could be interesting to play the living factory or something like the Cube from transformer movies, where the energy transforms the phone into a nasty little bugger that wants to kill everything (Very endbringer esque if you asked me, just about what one would expect hah).Though if I just saw that scene alone, then it is rather terrifying.>Yeah, these are mad helpful, thank you anon.Nice.Now to find inspiration and update my own jump before this year is over.
>>63998281>no uClassic logic, reminds me of when you chased off ValkyrieAnon because how dare someone make a fanfic jump of a jump you made.
>>63998290I never said the powers were Endbringer level. That's you. I said they were world class, because they are. Almost all the powers are amazingly powerful compared to almost any parahuman we see. You have very high odds of randomly rolling a power that would put you as the strongest parahuman in almost any city in America short of the Triumvirate led cities. Certain powers can lead you to surpass even those three in short order. World Class is NOT the same as Endbringer level. Endbringer powers aren't just some free alternative. They are going to be an expensive new origin, likely with drawbacks attached.>exaggerating wide reachingAlmost every single capstone is about affecting others on a large scale. Only the Shard capstones differ. I'm looking at what the entire jump focuses on.I really don't understand how you think I can crank the power up more when the jump already features a power that lets you make a, with time, unlimited amount of minions who can have potentially any powers you want, you can see through and control them all at once, you can keep making more forever and just make them stronger forever at pretty much no cost to you beyond sitting around some more. The jump already has insanely powerful abilities. Well, I appreciate that at least. Even if we have severe disagreements, it's nice we can remain civil.
>>63998241>They're not supposed to be beatable except by fluke or massive combined effort, since they'll just leave and repair if it gets close to randomly attack elsewhere. This is the crux of the issue. Endbringers essentially cannot be beaten by Parahumans. Even those that have powers that might (Sting, Siberian, Eidolon, Skrub) would be unable because their core is immune to powers. If you can buy into being an Endbringer, there is exactly one entity that can kill you, and it's Scion. Scion can essentially beat anyone. He didn't get beaten, he gave up.>>63998281>It's a little absurd dictating something because you think it's not appropriate for a first jump when any jump can serve as a first jumpThis is retarded Val, you have said in the past that you balance jumps as first jumps. If you first jump Worm, you should not be able to ever even press an Endbringer. You should need bare minimum a hundred other people before it's even being kept busy. That's just how they are.It doesn't matter how much being an Endbringer costs, because there is not a single thing in the jump that is better, or even close to better. They exist as plot devices to produce conflict and to be unbeatable by anyone but Scion.
>>63998265Do gods in Kid Icarus have psychical needs like eating and sleeping?
>>63998353Val is a bitch, always has been and always will be.
>>63998247Whelp, that was horrifying. Needless to say I think Jumper is definitely putting a stop to that. Fluff should be given as a gift, not a curse!>>63998297I pity the fool who knows not the wonders of having a kitsune and/or dragon maid/waifu.>>63998389I don't believe so, no.
>>63998351Well, just adding templates might be a bit limited but it does give me ideas for how it could fight. I think it might be more like- adding templates is how the Endbringer usually fights but it's far from the full potential. Like how Behemoth doesn't just spam radiation bursts to quickly slaughter every hero, even at long range. I was picturing that the Endbringer was essentially Panacea but at a long range (Possibly weakening the further out you get form the endbringer), but it usually hid the full extent of it's flesh warping abilities. Ooh, a robot swarm/or shifter sort of thing sounds incredible. The Cube and the way it rubix cube shifts around would make a great visual for an Endbringer too.Yeah, thanks man, these are both more good ideas.
>>63998421>I don't believe so, no.Handy. Would that apply in all alt-forms or just the Kid Icarus one?
>>63998387>It doesn't matter how much being an Endbringer costs, because there is not a single thing in the jump that is better, or even close to better.Valeria jumps are always this fucking way. Sure you can buy some normally priced perks and have an interesting build or you can pay 1200 CP and become one of the strongest beings in the universe which makes pretty much everything else in the jump pointless to take barring for shits and giggles.
>>63998385>>63998387 (me)Offering the option to be an Endbringer is the Equivalent as offering The Grey and True Immortality together as one perk in DBS, relative to the setting. It makes you unbeatable by any other person other than Zeno. Even Jiren can't beat you because you have a bullshit counter to him, the Immortality.Being an Endbringer does the exact same thing. Only Scion would ever be a threat.
>>63998098I'm not sold on the whole Endbringer stuff but some of the powers in the current jump are absolutely top-tier. Sting is dangerous as fuck to anything that physically exists, you can straight up get Alexandria's powers, Thanatos's only limit is how strong of a thing it can kill, Iterative Improvement would have made Dauntless the equal of Legend and Alexandria in only two years, and both Panacea and Bonesaw's powers are scary as all fuck and could easily extinguish all life on earth with some sort of hellish plague.
>>63998436Unless you decided you are only a God/have divine power while in that specific form, I would imagine it carries over to all forms.
>>63998455But the +1000 options usually come at the cost of not getting the other good stuff. Lets take Dragon Ball Super for example. You can choose to become a God of Destruction or Jiren. Or you could become omniscient and have Zen-Oh's power as well as a way to get through anti-hax barriers and be protected by hax with those points. Smaller perks are more useful in the long run, big perks are just good for their jump and the ones that would be on that same level.
>>63998387So what should I do with God of Highschool or Dragonball GT? Those were first jumps too. They can be. Everything can be a first jump. Balancing things around it being a first jump is good but that's so that you make it so someone won't die just going there. It's not an excuse to be used to say something is too powerful because it's a first jump. That's a lie. A blatant lie. Other endbringers. Entities. Massive coordinations of parahumans. Are you going to be killed because you pissed off one criminal gang? No, you're a fucking Endbringer. It'd be stupid if you expected that. But you are not indestructible. People have ways to hurt you and to kill you. Is it unlikely they will? Yes, you're going to be paying a lot of points and taking on a lot of problems to get this power. >>63998461No, it isn't. That you think it is shows that you are just making stuff up at this point.
>>63998421While you're answering Kid Icarus questions, how willing would Viridi be to put up with a loose cannon in her employ, in your opinion? Fire's plenty natural, but only humans and some Australian birds seem to bother making any use of it instead of just running away or staring. Then again, does Cragalanche already have Fire covered within the Forces of Nature or is he ONLY Earth? Does fire just go under Pyrrhon?
>>63998461This is the best metaphor for this problem. Being an Endbringer would have to cost 2000+ points before it was balanced because it invalidates all but one enemy
>>63998488Nice. Nice Angels too.>Hope Bringer>When you arrive on the battlefield all shall know it and all those who you protect and are on your side will feel great hope.Does this only work in combat situations?
>>63998502That's not a justification for broken ass options Val makes up just because of wanting easy power to break the game.
>>63998504>accusing others of making shit upSuch hypocrisy, much lie.
>>63998281>Becoming one will be expensive and likely have drawbacks linked in to being one related to what Endbringers doI’mma just pop in and say this much. Unless the mandatory drawback is “Scion specifically wants you dead. Everyone hates you and oh BTW, everyone is buffed to the point of even the weakest Parahuman is ‘formally triumvirate tier” there is no way to balance it. It’s like making a medieval jump that offers you a tank. Yes, it’s not perfect and does have some weaknesses, but those weaknesses can’t really be exploited when everyone you’re facing has the equivalent of nothing but their dicks.
>>63998504When Behemoth was killed, it took a continent busting bomb, a massive coordination of parahumans, and then they all still failed and had to have Scion kill him. That's the kind of bullshit you're defending giving to people here.
>>63998504>Massive coordinations of parahumansNot that anon, but there are only two parahumans that can beat an Endbringer. Full-powered Eidolon and Flechette getting lucky shots (and without the Endbringer using their super-human reaction abilities to dodge). Well, maybe String Theory, but she would need Taylor controlling a large chunk of parahumans for that to be possible. You just need to look at how post-Behemoth battles look. They coordinated most of the strongest parahumans active and they only managed to have the Endbringers laugh at their faces while still sandbagging.
I feel like if Val ever leaves this community, it is just going to straight up die. Which other jumpmaker provides this much discussion?
>>63998513Relatively fine. It seemed like as long as they followed her general basic orders, she was pretty chill about her generals. I think Pyrrhon had fire covered. Rocky was just earth style as I recall.>>63998530I have recently rediscovered my love for angels. Not necessarily no. It's basically more of a 'as long as you are nearby, people will be more hopeful'.
>>63998574The community was fine before Valeria started making a lot of jumps.
>>63998427>>63998567 (me)And this is with all the Endbringers deliberately holding back because otherwise they'd just exterminate humanity and the shard project would fail.
>>63998574Uh, other jumpmakers? Not hard to imagine a thread without her
>>63998567I'm aware. I've read the story.>>63998568There are more than just two humans that can land a kill shot on an Endbringer. I already said it wasn't easy or even likely for them to do so.>>63998598I think you're underestimating what the parahuman side of this could do if they thought it was that desperate.>>63998559I disagree. This is also getting to the point that everyone is going in circles with each other and disagreeing with no convincing on either side, so I doubt I will keep posting much longer.
>>63998598Pretty sure Val has stated in the past that she ignores Wildbow's comments about the Endbringer's powers or them holding back as non-canon. I don't agree, but it is what it is.
>>63998574Yeah, with shitposting effectively halved, this place will have the same posting frequency as QQ.
>>63998504>That's a lie. A blatant lie.No it isn't you dumbass. Chevalier got to a fucking Endbringer core and it shat him out and turned off his powers because the Endbringers were designed to be unstoppable. The only reason Behemoth ever died was because Scion stepped in and killed him himself. They cannot be killed by people. The author himself has said you'd have to be able to break the laws of phsyics to do so, but if you get to the core, the power that lets you break the laws of physics immediately turns off and a protective shield immediately regenerates because self-preservation is rule number one.If you are an Endbringer, why would you be fighting the endbringers? What the fuck logic is this? I assume there's a drawback for it but you don't have to take it. Fucking duh an entity would threaten you, thats what I fucking said. There's only one of them. No parahumans would not threaten you. They never fucking have. Read the fucking book.>No, it isn't. That you think it is shows that you are just making stuff up at this point. The combination of an Endbringer's body and core invalidates every enemy except Scion. That is exactly the same thing.>>63998568Enbringer's can't be killed by powers. They have a weird immunity to them that disables them if they touch/get too close. Sting wouldn't work. It would stop before it reached the core and do basically no damage since EBs don't have organs or muscles.
>>63998633You can disagree all you want to, you’re fucking wrong.
>>63998633Just going to run away from logic again, huh? Typical.>>63998638>deliberately ignores canonLiterally the second Bancho.
>>63998633You're too much of a pussy to actually argue your bogus point so you'll just run away. Sounds about right.
>>63998387>Even those that have powers that might (Sting, Siberian, Eidolon, Skrub) would be unable because their core is immune to powers. That's actually not true; Chevalier's sword broke when it touched the core, but apparently that was a fairly unique interaction between his dimensionally-mashed sword and the dimension mashing powers of a core. Sting especially would work, not even Scion was immune to it.Not that it would be easy without post Gold Morning knowledge, of course.
>>63998479>you can straight up get Alexandria's powersWhile most of that's correct, I'd like to note that the Alexandria Package in the jump is way weaker than the actual Alexandria.
>>63998633>There are more than just two humans that can land a kill shot on an EndbringerName a single one. Buddy who spent years multiplying energy to nuke Behemoth failed and that was the strongest attack ever used by any parahuman. All it did was give behemoth a liposuction.
>>63998633Sorry if this has already been asked, of if this is something already explained in the current Worm jump, but will this "endbringer cores are immune to powers" thing count for OOC powers as well, or just shards?
>>63998479Alexandria Package is not at all Alexandria's actual powers. It's got less strength and speed, and way less defense since Alex is basically invulnerable to raw damage due to the stasis while you've got regular durability, it just makes up for it by directly enforcing the Manton Limit.
>>63998699She's waiting for her internet boyfriends to run defense.
>>63998638No, I've said in the past that I think things like it taking a galaxy destroying attack to kill one is nonsense that contradicts both his other statements and what is seen in the story. I've also said I think their holding back is that they don't use their powers as lethally as they can, not that they're actually able to throw around planets and stars when there's never been any indication of that whatsoever.>>63998676Because Chevaliers dimension overlay abilities reacted badly with the same sort of thing in the Core. That's it. Cores don't shut off every power that touches them. If they did, they'd do the same to Sting too. I don't know how you can argue that Eidolon and Flechette could do it one post and then say it's impossible for them the next and expect me to not call you a lying sack of shit.I imagine most Jumpers won't do nothing but join in on the mindless extermination 3 month schedule, that'd look pretty out of place to your fellows. As for the parahuman stuff...well, honestly, given the contradictory nonsense you apparently believe, I see no reason to continue this talk. You think some parahumans can kill Endbringers but whoops, wait oh no, no parahumans can do that. Despite you just vehemently arguing only some could. But yeah, I think I'm just gonna cut this conversation short unless someone comes up with a stunning new point. It's going in circles, one of the main debaters is changing is argument from post to post and I don't care to waste time I could be spending on the jump arguing with people o something no one's convincing me to change yet. Good day to you all.
>>63998421>Fluff should be given as a gift, not a curse! But it is a gift! ...for him.>horrifyingExcellent, working as intended then.
>>63998726It's not actually a thing. Endbringer's aren't immune to powers, it's just that the weird ass multi dimensional structure of their core screws with similar powers a bit.
>>63998732I can already see him posting a couple of paragraphs about how mean and unreasonable everyone has been at the start of the next thread.

>>63998772Does the Hollow Nation keep its level of tech between jumps?
>>63998749>I don't know how you can argue that Eidolon and Flechette could do it one post and then say it's impossible for them the next and expect me to not call you a lying sack of shit.Because I never said that. >>63998749>As for the parahuman stuff...well, honestly, given the contradictory nonsense you apparently believe, I see no reason to continue this talk. You think some parahumans can kill EndbringersNo I don't. I don't know who the fuck's posts you're reading but I haven't said that.Apparently Sting would be able to kill. That brings the threat number to 2. It really doesn't change anything.
>>63998749>No, I've said in the past that I think things like it taking a galaxy destroying attack to kill one is nonsenseYeah, the whole mass of a galaxy calculation was a bit iffy, and he did say later on that the kind of strength One Punch Man used when deflecting a planet-destrying beam would be enough. >not that they're actually able to throw around planets and starsAs far as I know, he never did say anything about that. Just that the Endbringers could deal a whole lot more destruction if they used their powers to their full limit.
Any good companions in Star Wars?
>>63998817>Apparently Sting would be able to kill. That brings the threat number to 2. It really doesn't change anything.Wiki says String Theory posed a credible threat too and that they actually planned around her. So 3. I agree with you, but just for the sake of posterity.
>>63998633>There are more than just two humans that can land a kill shot on an Endbringer. I already said it wasn't easy or even likely for them to do so.Maybe two was wrong? Only other one I can think of is the Siberian. That would make three, maybe two. Well, the Siberian just runs on the same problem as Flechette, he needs the Endbringer, who is much faster than you and some can fly, to stay still and wait to get their core removed.
>>63998829>Yeah, the whole mass of a galaxy calculation was a bit iffy, and he did say later on that the kind of strength One Punch Man used when deflecting a planet-destrying beam would be enough.Wiki says that an attack that could wipe earth's surface of life would transmit enough force to kill. The galaxy thing was talking about how much matter you'd be going through because ow how space warps as you get closer to the core exponentially.
>>63998849String Theory's power doesn't depend on her, though. To build something that could kill an Endbringer she would need to be working under Golden Morning conditions. So unless someone like the White Queen or Kephri is around, she won't be able to do it.
>>63998812Sure, why not.>>63998829Yeah, I reckon they could be way more destructive if they want. The example before of Behemoth just spamming radiation is one. He could just run around doing that and make every city uninhabitable if he really wanted after all.

Admittedly, you wouldn't know exactly how fast or slow I happen to read, but I's still like a very general estimate.
>>63998890Oh, well that means it’s totally balanced to give out Endbringer powers. 600 with a discount sounds reasonable, don’t you think?t. Valeria

>>63998934>Is that now my role in the thread? Can you think of one you’d rather have?
>>63999045Put Dispenser Here.
>>63998959>>63999000I shall try to continue to do justice to my role then.>>63998968I shall try to make you happy then. >>63999045Well, I can't claim full credit for that. AnonHeart does it just as much as me I'm fairly sure.>>63999101Er... Not really.
>>63998887That design is so stupid and edgy. Yet it makes me rock hard.
>>63999124>Er... Not really. Then go forth and Fluff!
>>63999070This, I can't help but feel like she looks like Kali too.
>>63999175Blake is better.
>>63999183Wrong, both mentally and physically.
>>63999183Blake's body is better, her brain is worse
>>63999196t. granny fucker
>>63999152Aye Aye!Alright JC, having fluffy tails/soft wings are all well and good, but how much utility do you get out of them? Do you use them as third hands? Do you only have them for the aesthetic (and fluff)?
>>63998799There are foxes that make good pets, still not as good as dogs but that's a really high bar.
>>63998387When people say "balance as a first jump" they don't mean "street level." That means "You can take it as your first jump and survive."
>>63999183Now THAT's heresy.
>>63999229We're done talking about Worm.
>>63999199You should waifu the cat mom and the cat daughter.
>>63999256You don't dictate anything to anyone.
>>63999215Personally I just have them for the aesthetic. In early jumps the wings did help with my flight, but at this point they don't really add anything there.Great for use as fluffy pillows though.
>>63999270I just did.
>>63999215Just the aesthetic and fluff for me. I prefer to use telekinesis when I need a third hand.
>>63999265Nah. Waifu the catmom, murder the cat daughter. Then genderflip Adam and give her to catdad as compensation.
>>63999282And I'm ignoring it.
>>63998749And you don't seem to realize that by doing that, you're disrespecting not only Wildbow, but everyone who read Worm except for you. Your selfishness knows no bounds. >https://www.reddit.com/r/Parahumans/comments/3llju8/itt_your_hindsight_realizations_spoilers_obviously/cv7zq6z/
>>63999215My wings at least nominally improve my aerodynamics when flying. They don't give lift, obviously, but having some control surfaces minimizes the amount of physics-fuckery that needs to go into high-mobility flight.
A question, /jc/.I'm looking for two or three loyal companions to be my main companions and overall seconds in command. I know there's the Overlord NPC option, and that's a great option. However, I'm wondering if there's I'm missing somewhere. So here's what I'm looking for:>dragon / kaiju / leviathan / large scary monster >humanoid form in addition to above form>old / ancient>aggressive but not stupid>waifuable>preference given to options that come as sets (ie they're known associates from the same property)I've been wracking my brain and I keep coming up with an OC companion from Overlord. Is there something I'm missing? Is there another way of approaching this? Any assistance you can give will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, anons!>pic unrelated
>>63999370Nobody respects Wildbow after Ward.
>>63999215Using fluffy tails as extra hands is not easy. I prefer actual tentacles for that.
>>63999215I really only use them for two things.1) Flight. Obviously.2) Wrapping up my waifus in.
>>63999370Oh god, that GreatWyrmGold guy is in that thread. That gut is hilarious with his "my fanon is objectively correct, fuck everyone who cites canon" rants.
>>63999418You probably want a Pokémon.May I suggest Arcanine?
>>63999403>>63999424>>63999450Fair. I imagine wings are just slightly more useful/usable than a fluff tail.>>63999289>>63999281Aesthetic is still pretty good. I do wonder how comfortable using one as a pillow would be though. Like I imagine it could end up numb, like sleeping on your arm kind of thing.
>>63999419Nobody respected Wildbow after Worm, it's just that it was simple lack of respect rather than disrespect. The moment he got started on Pact, no one cared about him anymore.
>>63999466Kind of like someone else.
Smitten with Lucina.
>>63999418Pick any Silver dragon from dnd
>>63999418Maybe an OC with the Mythic Beast racial option in I Saved Too Many Girls and Caused The Apocalypse?
>>63999476Could it be?! The legendary knot-anon!?
>>63999491All of us? We're just as bad, most of us just don't have names to attach rants to.
>>63999480Wings are not fluffy. They are pure muscle and long feathers stuck in them. You wouldn't be comfortable sleeping on them. That's why Kitsunes are the supreme waifu race.
STOP RUINING MY EVENING!!!
>>63999527Nah. I’m not into dudemons
>>63999526Why does that snake have a giant pair of headphones?
>>63999480>Like I imagine it could end up numb, like sleeping on your arm kind of thing. That’s what the toughness perks are for.
>>63999564She enjoys sick beats, but she really gets off on being respectful to other people and being aware of noise pollution.
>>63999542That's not really the same since anons don't have anywhere near the significance compared to someone who directly controls a lot of the jumps people use.
>>63999513tbqh I'd fuck both Robins as well
>>63999561Would that make you fortune cookie anon?
>>63999564How else would it listen to music?
>>63999492Lucina definitely a cute.
>>63999550It's not evening in Emustan, tripplefaggot.
>>63999585Wait, who are we talking about? I was actually just getting into the thread, I don't know what argument was going on. Were you meaning to insult someone in particular? Brutus, maybe, since he runs the drive?
>>63999602You mean 't. Tharja'.
>>63999492Yeah, she's pretty good. You have good taste.
>>63999624Look back and read this thread and the last one and you'll understand.
>>63999418You could do worse than some kaiju in the various Godzilla jumps. Waifu Mothra, you know you want to. Be the cool stepdad to all her larva (don't worry, purityfags, she produced them parthenogenically), raise your brood of giant insect monsters together and teach them to love nature and defend indigenous peoples from aliens. It'll be great.
Rolled 5 (1d6)>>63999642Nah, I'm lazy. I'm just going to roll a die and decide which one of the thread's favorite targets it is that way.>1. Red>2. OAA>3. NikaMoth>4. Valeria>5. Yorokonde>6. bancho
>>63998876Would an Authority over Fate or Destiny be valid for the Oasis God perk? Does destiny even exist in the Nasuverse, outside of the pruning of unwanted timelines?
>>63999476That is such a cute doggomon
>>63999370Alright? I can deal with disrespecting him. He made a great setting, fucked up the ending and is doing stupid things with the sequel, plus there was that absolutely absurd statement about rolling for character deaths as if that was anything but disappointment in that first endbringer fight. Besides, I've always had a lot of dislike for the idea of making so very many word of god statements outside of a story you're writing. It's near impossible to read them all, there's always more, they make the story feel unreliable in a way that's not fun at all and they're just...bad writing, honestly. If you have so much content...why didn't you put it in the story? Why does it feel like so much of this is thought up after the fact? There's a lot of situations where I can understand that, like when you have word limits and deadlines, but this was a self published online thing that already went on for fucking ever and had plenty of space for more. Like, for instance, that two year timeskip that everyone wanted to see in real time because it would finally let us see all the other side of the setting, the hero stuff, in lots of detail. Man, that timeskip really was the worst.
>>63999687Since when the hell was Yoro one of the "thread's favorite targets"?
>>63999418I believe there's an OC dragon companion option in DxD.
>>63999725Weren't we shitposting about them a couple days ago?
>>63999687>YoroAhemFUCKING FURRIES GET OUT REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEyoureactuallyprettyokayyoroEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
>>63999712>Man, that timeskip really was the worst.I disagreed with you on Endbringer stuff but holy shit are you right about this. Not to mention how it didn't convey that there WAS a timeskip and so it was really confusing how we were just suddenly in the future. It read almost like a dream sequence.
>>63999712>Man, that timeskip really was the worst.Yep. The four months Taylor was a villain gets twenty volumes. The two years she was a hero gets a summary. Like none of the things she did during that time or relationships she made were at all important to her. Which, I guess is okay, if we're going for the "Taylor is actually a really self-centered and unpleasant person and you just don't notice because she's an unreliable narrator" read, but I still want to know about them.
>>63999725We bully him because he likes Gauntlets and they suck
>>63999476That looks a bit fluffy for my tastes, but I hadn't considered pokemon in general.>>63999501That's a good choice. I need two preferably three of them, though. Any way of doing that you can think of?>>63999526That looks like a pretty fantastic option. What's the story like?>>63999657There are some iconic options there, true. Do you know if there's an in jump option to give them human forms as well or is that something that'd need to be done with another jump?>>63999736I only know DxD from fanservice and deity of boobs memes. What are DxD dragons like?
>>63999418Maybe try Like a Child from Re:Creators?
>>63999789Especially considering how her hero team had one of the best scenes in the whole book. When Khonsu first appeared and they were on live TV when they found out? The way the one girl just broke down, god it was good. That crushing realization that there were more than just 3 Endbringers and the new ones were arguably worse. Ahhhhhh
>>63999795There's nothing wrong with gauntlets in and of themselves. The problem is that gauntlets are literally just CYOAs that use CP and have "Jumpchain compliant" taped on under the name. They're almost entirely divorced from the rest of Jumpchain and don't really fit anywhere into it.
>>63998936>>63998949>>63998958>>63999065Okay, that's not as bad as I was expecting something like a couple months. I'm a binge reader anyway, this should be an easy read. Thanks for the answers.
>>63999872You get off on women crying, huh?
