Come on big baby
Morning/afternoon lads. What's the plan for lunch this fine Friday?
>>94170356Bean, rice, cooked egg and chicken
>>94170356Today is leftover day.
>>94170356>Morning/afternoonIt's night here, had one large kangaroo hind quarter steak, mashed potatoes, baby carrots, onion rings and two deep fried bananas for dinner tonight.
>>94170356Had some sausages, sauerkraut, and french fries.
>>94170408>Today is leftover day.>frog legs>snails>sardine heads>eyes of newts>rooster beaksThrow that shit in the bin, frenchie.
>>94170518The frenchest thing in the fridge right now is croque-monsieur. And cheese ofc.
>2019>still no TT on a 20km descent
>>94170356Waldkorn® bread + margarine + peanut butter (100% no additives)
>>94170569It's probably too dangerous.
>>94170534Is that cheese and ham on bread and then grilled?
>>94170576Don`t laugh, he will win the Tour.Just a minor setback, all will unfold in the third week.
>>94170356Pain français au saumon
>>94170577No pain, no gain

How would you rate Movistar tactics yesterday?
>>94169916721 days to Grand Depart in Copenhagen, Denmark.
>>94170809They planned their tactics as if they completely forgot that Quintana doesn't attack.
>>94170377One bean and a whole chicken?

>>94171052>Every single time. Every single time? which means you ask for pain français over and over again instead of saying "baguette"?
>>94171227But it makes absolutely no sense to call it "pain français" ffs, Belgians can't be that dumb.
>>94171271There's a reason why all Dutch jokes about Belgians are about how dumb they are
Is this the home of the famed UberEats Ligue Un powerhouses Le Tractuer FC?
>>94171271Why?The baguette is a type of bread that is associated with France, hence "Pain Français", I don't know what's so hard to understand even for a French brain. By the way it's called "French bread" in many countries.
Based French commentators btfo the green agenda
attention: something happened
these two homolords are helping each other what the F*CKthey even showed footage of them pushing each other
TIL that they call it "pain français" in quebec too.
>>94171296Yeah a bread is called franskbrod (french bread) here, however, a baguette is called a baguette in Danish
Fuck off stop talking about France
why is there only one n*gg*r in the tour
>>94171245Well every time I travel to France so one summer every two years. I do it the first time then I remember it's a sensible subject in France

>>94171296>what is stokbrood
>>94171296>By the way it's called "French bread" in many countriesIt's not. Though we do have a thing called "french bread" but it's not baguette.
>>94171296A baguette is called a baguette everywhere you retarded walloon. Fuck, if wallonia is full of peoples like you i understand why it's in shambles.
>>94171296I could forgive a Japanese for calling it like that but Wallonie is not an exotic faraway country unaware of French basics dude.
>>94171403>french>rudewow what a twist
So I switched this shit on first time in my life, because everyone is bandwagoning in my country "muh sagan".How the fuck can you wantch this? It is so fucking boring, fucking nothing happens. >b-but the natureIf I want to see the nature, I would watch a documentary
>everyone shitting on WallonieBasedI'd like to add that Flanders is both BASED and rightful Dutch clay
>>94171423Some stages are not worth watching, like this one, we all know that nothing will happen.
thinking the laurent brochard mullet needs to return to the peloton desu
At least Ciccone wears the yellow until the TT next weak then. Based ride at Giro, that stage was Kino, thunder, rain and lightning and suffering.
>>94171423sprintstages are generally not worth watching unless you really like watching the french countryside and castles and shitThe only exception is when they expect echelons because then spicy shit can happenBut generally, only tune in for the final 10km and you'll be fine. Now mountainstages, that's where the true excitement of the sport lies.
>>94171472Yeah, was really sad when they cut the Gavia but the stage ended up being pure kino anyway>those shots of pure foggy rain and suffering ridersgorgeous
>>94171296>By the way it's called "French bread" in many countries. We use the term interchangeably with baguette, but we're also hilariously bad at bread.
>>94171403>Fuck, if wallonia is full of peoples like you i understand why it's in shambles.rofl have you seen the state of fr*nce before pointing fingers at anyone?
Is there a time bonus in the intermediate sprints ?
>>94171473Well, it also depends on the riders and the team tactics.Usually nowadays, the strongest riders just sit in some train, and maybe attack/defend on the last 5 kms.
Viviani winsSaved you about 6 hoursyour welcome
>>94171532>VivianiReminder that he won't win a single GT stage again in 2019

>>94171602>>94171542As a dark horse i can see kristoffhe likes those long stage and doesn't mind such finishes
This stage is particularly boring, no landscapes, no châteaux, no suspense...
I hope Nibali falls back with the next few stages and in the TT to go mountain stage hunting. It would light up things for the audience.I am sick of all the tactics of nowadays, which involves all the GC riders doing nothing until the last few kilometers.
>>94171707>I am sick of all the tactics of nowadays,This. Get rid of power meters and team radios* and make the riders have to manage their own tactics based on how they feel, not what the computer and their DS tells them.*maybe keep race radios for satety, though, for messages from the race directors like "Crash at km 55" or "rain incoming in 20minutes".
Just because the stage is so boring, which climbers are going to do well on the 35km climb to Val Thorens? It's not often that you see climbs that don't have high percentage but are just incredibly long. Mont Ventoux comes close but is steeper and a third shorter.
>Casuls here not watching the Kitzbühel stagebaka
>>94171747>This. Get rid of power meters and team radios* and make the riders have to manage their own tactics based on how they feel, not what the computer and their DS tells them.this X 1000
>>94171691We are relying on your witty monologue to keep us entertained.
>>94171747I wonder anyways how much of puppets the riders are nowadays.Do those in the cars with all the data really them to stay defensive or attack, like you are playing some video game?Seasoned riders like Nibali will surely listen to his own instincts and experience first and shit on team radio.I want to see more Froome like attacks like last year at the Giro.I want to see them risk something, instead of just managing the gap.
>>94171783During sprint stages they are 100% puppets.
>>94171747>get rid of power metersthey hardly make any difference in racing
>>94171783>I wonder anyways how much of puppets the riders are nowadays. Some riders more than others, but all of the GC guys get their numbers and the estimates of their opponents' numbers before going on the attack.
>>94171844>they hardly make any difference in racingThen why did Christian Prudhomme and the ASO request that the UCI ban power meters during the route announcement last October?
>>94171844How do you think they can catch the breakaways just before the finish ? Besides, they would get rid of them if it was useless.
>>94171875Instead of getting rid of power meters, they should get rid of team comms.
>>94171850>Small percentages. Perfect for birdsong
>>94171850This would be perfect for an Andean rider.
>>94171900>No Euskaltel anymoreRIP orange colours
>>94171875>>94171884They want a scapegoat, they don't get live telemetry for every rider in the car. Power meters are not the reason for boring grand tours.

>>94171977being dressed like Barbie obviously unsettles him a lot.
>>94171975One kilometre at a time. I can see the benefits desu.
>>94171747Banning power meter won't do shit. Team radios are a much bigger reason for boring races.
>>94171958>drinking alcoholhow the fuck do people even become alcoholics?
>>94171850Dan martin & Landa could do well.
>>94172029>how the fuck do people even become alcoholics? You have one drink, then another, then another, etc until you're at a party and you say or do something that embarrasses your girlfriend. You are now an alcoholic.
>>94172029Huge ego, impatience and a propensity to overthink shit. Also, ADHD and autism (which are basically the same thing).
>next mountains at stage 12

>>94172428Children of extremely strict parents often do not learn how to discipline themselves since the parents are always there to correct the children's slightest infraction. When they finally go out with their friends and have a drink, without their parents to tell them to stop, they go wild. And some rare souls actually do have an inability to properly metabolize alcohol which puts them at a greater risk to develop an alcohol dependence, regardless of their upbringing.

My mom has a yearly conference there, so we'd always go as a family when I was a kid.Try to visit the Appalachians in Virginia/North Carolina, if you can. Or the Outer Banks of NC.
>>94174500Yeah, if you've been to one of the countries we're currently feuding with, the state department will look at your visa application much more closely, because something something terrorism.
>>94174490>ywn sell an overpriced raincoat to an exhausted rider for a shitty pricewhy even live
>>94174535>Try to visit the Appalachians in Virginia/North Carolina, if you can. Or the Outer Banks of NC.This. Western North Carolina is perfect in spring and autumn. (Bit too humid in summer, though.)
>>94174537you guys are such cunts lol
How far have you cycled this year lads? I don't record commutes so another 50 - 70 km p/w too
>>94174397The man said he logged every ride from when he was 10 til he was 36, the man was a machine. The miracle of lourdes is one of my fondest memories watching tdf with my dad.
>>94174569Based - where are you from? Chapel Hill here, living in CA. I miss NC so much. The greenery, the lack of air pollution, fewer people, etc etc.
>>94174488Just when I thought it had been a boring day
>>94174535I liked it so much that I've been trying to look at jobs in US now that I've got a bit of experience. The fucking taxes are killing me here.Didn't get to visit DC when I was there and been kinda regretting it ever since. Will have to consider the Appalachians, got 2 - 3 weeks to spend on this trip so shouldn't be a problem to fit it in desu.
>>94174610Man, we know it. I'd love to go to Iran, too. One of my housemates is Iranian (he's a hilarious stereotype).
Vacki o adamsen e de beste commenterors i scandinavia, vilke bange holl me?
it's time for>sagan
When will 2agan turn into pe1er
>>94174649Imagine being this wrong.
>>94174623Boston, but I went to Duke for grad school. I try to go back at least once a year, but that gets harder and harder as the years roll by.
>>94174611That's missing ~3 000 km of commutes. Got a bit of a slow start to the year desu.
>>94174610>you guys are such cunts lolYup.
>>94174641That's awesome. The US has a lot on offer. I think the cosmopolitan, large-ish college towns are my favorite parts to live in.
>WOUT VAN SHART
Do yuros know what the sponsors even are for these teams?Almost no name is familiar to me. I saw a team with Splunk on their ass, thats the only thing I recognize because I have to use that shit every day at work
Dan Martin, Mohammad Yates and Van Aert distanced
NO quintANO nooooooo
GO CHADSTANA TRAIN
>>94174748Most of them
>>94174748http://inrng.com/2019/07/what-do-the-team-sponsors-do/I was going to post some of them each day but I forgot
and they're back together.
>>94174758not even his backwards attacks lasts for more than 2 minutes
Movistar and getting caught out in side winds, name a more iconic duo.
>>94174716Oh sweet. I came to LA for grad school (it's more livable than expected, but the pollution, wow). I'm going to a little course in Maine next week and tacking on a week in NC after. >QUINTANA
>stopping for a piss at the sprint point
>>94174780It's not too late to start again anon.
>>94174791After wasting energy on a pointless flat stage
>>94174808ah people can just read it for themselves now
>>94174748Not really. By far the most of them were unknown to me before they sponsored a team.
>>94174780I know that jumbo is a grocery store and alpecin is a shampoo or something?
Colbrelli wins today
>>94174867I win today
>>94174867What metrics do you justify that with?
Quintana more like Qlosetana
>>94174891Fuck marginal gainsMarginal losses is where it's at
>>94174891you would think they'd make a vest or something to carry multiple bottles
Why is the break even still riding. They are caught just drop back lol

>>94174891fuck this faggot
>>94174891yes yes well done Julian... HOWEVER
>>94174935The kit works just fine
>>94174988Reminder that Cav couldn't even get a job as a bottle boy at this year's race.
Can grupetto the rossetto
desu the tour should get better cars like mercedes or bmw instead of skoda trash
Why are those two still out in front?
>>94175111no need to catch them yet
Rai commentators don't know what to say anymore; 2 hours of empty talking about menial things; even my couch is sleeping now
tommorow is good doe
>>94175131who should i put on my tour manager team tomorrow, the past days has been really bad for me
>>94175127>The banlieue of Bardet
>>94175156based, but the tour still has skoda as a sponsor
>>94175131>de Gendt wins lol
I'm doing 30km on a hilly gravel road every 2nd day with 14 year old hybrid.Much better fat remover than running.
I fell asleep while Ducrot and Herbert were telling boomer cycling stories. Life is good.

Y'right lads. What have I missed so far today?
Last km lads, finally interesting
QS train was so good. Fucking Viviani
How tf did Viviani fuck that up, he had been perfectly set up by his mates
Imagine if Quickstep got a good sprinter. With a lead out like that he could win it all.
>>94175445Decent sprint. No crashes. Comfy thread, guys. Thanks. See y'all tomorrow.
>6 hours, 2 minutes, 44 seconds>Only the last 14 seconds was remotely interestingGlad Jumbo won...Did anybody watch the whole stage without doing else to pass the time?
Time to go test my new saddle. Wish me luck lads.
Kristoff is garbage lol
>first sprint stage where i didnt put groenewegen on my teamjust end me
Viviano got completely btfo, Ewan and Gronewegen were so much faster.
>>94175521based danish retard of bad team decisions
>>94175507I shitposted and indulged in Beelebub's basil
Caleb Ewan would unironically have won if he had a larger frame size
Based big baby
>>94175557Manlets, when will they learn.
>>94175550OH NO NO NO
>>94175540tomorrow will be thee day!!
>>94175550More green jersey points for him, though. He breaks Zabel's record this year, right?
>>94175585How fast are they going at the peak of the sprint, with that tailwind? 70 kph?
>>94175623Dylan peaked at 73km/h but I don't think that's sustainable for an hour
>>94175623Yes, but a very short time.
>>94175465What happened to gaviria
Tick tock Ritchie Porte, 2 stages to go
Viviani seemed unbeatable on the Giro last year, how come he has turned to absolute dogshit so fast?
>>94175610Yes, they're curently tied at 6.
>>94175738Damn it was a lot closer than it seemed
>>94175715Mate in that specific giro he was sprinting against literallywhos, all the good sprinters that year were doing the TdF and ditching the giro. And then Quickstep and the media talked him up anyway as if he's some top tier sprinter (which is why /cyc/ dislikes him). He's not, he's an overhyped FRAUD and it's good that he's getting exposed.Viviani won't win a single GT stage again in 2019.
Yellow is a much nicer colour on a woman than black.
Do you think Sagan is looking for a new partner in life?
>>94175738>>94175885Sagan is always looking for new friends ;^)
>>94175902If Sagan's name was spelled C-a-v-e-n-d-i-s-h, he'd be disqualified.
it is autism then
>>94176042Seething. Pushing and physicality is part of the sport. If you want a wheel you should take it and not be a beta ass bitch
>>94176042If his name was spelled F-R-O-O-M-E he would be booed.
>>94176062wtf is with those long legs of the women?
Ewen is the only sprint contender under pressure to win a stage right now
>>94176242they're models. models are tall. tall = long legs.
>>94176242it's mostly the heelsand the high-waisted pants
>>94176626>he drew the pantiescute
pour moi, c'est Michael Woods
>>94176626>>94176062they're of average height plus heels. It's him who's 159cmalso>3agan
>>94177258He is 176 cm on 58 kg.Actually I have almost the same settings.1,77 m on 59 kg for me.
>>94177314manlets hold together I see
*CRASHES GC FRAUDS*>Würtz saying to danish TV, that the tempo hike when Martin and Quintana got dropped, was a planned attack.>He, van Avermaet and Naesen were bored and agreed on trying an attack together, just after the intermediate sprint, to shake things up.
>>94177404Only chance to see him on the podium.
>>94177466lanklets seething because they have no camaraderie
>>94170257Based big baby
>>94176042yeah, like that time the ratman rode into sagan in a space he shouldn't have been in in the first place, and sagan got sent out of the tour because of that
>>94177314but do you have asthma
>>94179799No, but if I find a British doctor, I might get the diagnosis. I have bad hay fever, which must account for something.Give me the sprays!
>>94178690found the dwarfyou're right about the comradeship though
cant wait for Marcel Kittel to win some stage
>>94169916totally missed this
>>94181500You didn't miss anything
>>94181500It was a veeeeery long borefest, even the commentators complained.
>>94180593>Marcel Kittel>win some stagewho?
>>94176056actual literal autism on display, not just meme autism
>>94177314>59lmao i used heavier sand bags than you how cute
>>94175508how're the balls and taint?
>Stage was so boring we didn't even reach bump limitJeez, see you tomorow.
>>94181856Pretty good considering I did 90 km on a brand new saddle. I just fucking hate my body proportions. Need to get a setback seatpost that can be flipped backwards to get forward enough. Used to have a ISM and that was perfect but any normal saddle just pushes me way back. The ISM is amazing for hard efforts but doesn't really work for slow long days in the saddle. Couldn't even get my knee above pedal spindle with a zero setback post and the saddle as far forward as possible. I also have weird mongol feet that make finding well fitting cycling shoes, ski boots or any sports shoes, almost impossible. Why can't I just have an average body.
