>this bellend will be strutting around the pitch in the PL next season
>>
Yeah, Newcastle or Bournemouth maybe.
>>
deservedly, he's by far the most talented player in both the playoff games I watched
>>
>>92784189
In a spurs shirt hopefully.

Id love to see villa back in the prem, much moreso than derby, but it would make signing him probably impossible
>>
>>92784189
Hope he gets his fucking legs broke
>>

that's a weird way to spell falling over

But he already played in the Prem a few years back, also why does the average Irishman always looks like this?

>le plays 5 good games a season lad that everyone still rates as a world class prospect
James Maddison is Grealish but actually consistently good

Leeds would have took more

never seen him do anything but pass sideways, or dribble and fall over
>>
I kind of like him now after the whole getting punched by a Zulu then scoring the winner

How can you have any respect for a player like that? What he did to Ireland, unforgivable.
>>
>>92785292
ireland have enough english players
>>
>>92785310
>ireland have enough english player

Jack Grealish was born and raised in England to Irish parents, he's Irish m8.
>>
>>92785422
no, his grandparents were, mong
pretty much any english person has irish ancestry somewhere down the line

he's as brummie as they come
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7cxzuI3uuFI
>>
Oof can't wait x
Nice tight arse on him aha x
>>
>>92785462
Both grandparents on both sides are Irish from Ireland, meaning both his parents are Irish, meaning he's fucking Irish, not English regardless of where he was born and raised. He's ethnically Irish

Yeah, I get it he grew up a dirty brummie, but he's still Irish.
>>
>>92785292
compared to what Declan Rice did I don't really have a problem with him. I just think the rules need to be that once you're turning out for U17 team for a country that you're committed to them at that point. Players that aren't good enough for English youth teams using Irish resources to develop then switching to England because they take a step is fucking retarded. Just take the confusion out of it and make them pick then.
>>
>>92785542
It doesn't really work like that outside of yankland. You can't claim you're Irish if don't have an Irish accent, weren't brought up in the culture, you'd get the absolute piss ripped out of you. I have Irish and Welsh grandparents but I would never fucking dare to call myself anything but English based on my upbringing.
>>
>>92785542

French team isn't French then
>>
>>92785580
It's different if someone is fully Irish on both sides. I know lads who spent their early years in England then their family decided to come home in their teens and they're basically Irish.
>>
>>92785542
>His Grandparents were born in Ireland so they're Irish
>His parents were born in England so it means he's Irish
> Grealish was born in England so he's Irish

wow, absolutely outstanding mental gymnastics from the yank.
Do you not realise that the whole of the British Isles breed with each other, everyone in England has Irish ancestry

Literally the entire Irish squad were born in England lmao.

>>

Okay, at least now that we know you're dying on that hill
>>
>>92785612
You brits don't understand genetics and ethnicity. It doesn't matter where a person is born or raised, if you're welsh and born and raised in fucking korea, you're still welsh. Same rules apply for the real irish players (not the ones with a distant grandparent) born in england.

You sound like the damn frogs tryin to defend your national team and its sad
>>
>>92785678
Shit man guess america is just filled with poles, irish, germans and brits. No one can actually claim to be american
>>
he's still a bellend but he has matured since a few years ago.
>>
>>92785678
It does matter, Europeans are ethnically very similar, it's the culture and language that divides us. The reason we make fun of Americans is because you think you inherit specific traits through heritage and it's complete nonsense. The difference between an Englishman and an Irishman is more political and ideological based.
>>
>>92785422
He still probably feels English though. Same with Rice. They grew up with English lads and hence identified with them and supported their national team. It's only natural they would dream of playing with England and not Ireland. I don't even blame them. I would feel bad if they were trapped with us when they didn't want to be

>>
>>92785709

American is not an ethnicity, its a nationality, just like being British is a nationality. English is an ethnicity. If Grealish wanted to play say for a hypothetical British national team, than fair play.

You would think an American wouldn't have to explain nationality and ethnicity to you
>>
>>92785767
National team = nationality

Thank you for playing
>>
>>92785759

Thats another american, I have no idea who this guy is lol I'm the guy talkin shite about Grealish
>>
>>92785767
The idea that pure Anglo-Saxon and Celtic blood lines run parallel to each other for the last 2000 years is nonsense. Everyone on the British and Irish isles are a mash up of Celtic, Saxon, French and Scandinavian. Our differences are based on politics.
>>
>>92785783
Okay, you don't know the difference between ethnicity and nationality. Got it
>>
>>92785809
Of White British and Irish rather.

>>

Is Cornish a nationality or ethnicity?
>>
>>92785809

The idea that all Welsh, Jamican, Irish, and Scottish are all pretty much close enough, is fucking nonsense.
>>
>>92785875

They literally don't have a nation, but they're closer to Welsh than anything. Celtic nontheless
>>
>>92785906
Most sane folk don't consider darkies to be British or Irish. We all roll our eyes when they say they are "black british" or "british asian".
>>
>>92785934
But they are literally English, which you said was an ethnicity before

WON'T SOMEBODY THINK OF THE JUTES??!
>>
>>92785944
Actually, from what I have heard, it sounds like you all consider anyone who was born and raised in England to be "English". "No such thing as an ethnic Englishman"
>>
>>92785954

Yes, I still contend that English is an ethnicity. You are using a loop hole to form an argument because Cornwall is home to "cornish" people who are of Celtic origin, which is located entirely within England. So yes, technically they are English "geographically speaking" but they are still Cornish.
>>
>>92785966
You're just grasping at straws now. White British and White Irish are basically the same thing ethnically, we're just different politically.

>>92785994
The Celts were a tribe that originated in the Alps and spread across Western Europe. Being Celtic in today's world to do with speaking the language and upholding the culture. You wouldn't tell the difference between a Welshman and an Englishman standing next to each other.
>>
>>92786078
I dunno, the sheep on his cock would give it away
>>
fuckin hell, trust a yank to bring in some autistic debate about ethnicity like it has any relevance

grealish is an english lad, with some irish roots - same as a lot of fucking people living in modern britain. you're speaking like he has 100% irish ancestry, it even says on wikipedia one of his ancestors was an english bloke who played for villa

so many brummies have an irish grandparent. it's hard to grasp because you're american
>>
>>92786078
You're simplifying too much.

Same could be said about some Englishmen standing next to a German or Swede. They may look similiar but that doesn't mean they're aren't differences. Just like Koreans, Japanese, and Chinese may all look very similiar, but they are ethnically still different.
>>
>>92786154
"everyone who is born in england is english"
>>
What you have to remember is that Americans view European history as like a neatly segmented theme park. They think it no more likely that you'd find an Irishman in England than a Pirate in the Space Zone.
>>
>>92785542
>tf
>tp
Expected.
>>
>>92786173
There are differences because countries like Germany have always had massive swathes of immigration, no small part because they were in the Holy Roman Empire which was essentially a medieval European Union. Britain and Ireland were on lock down since the 11th century. Of course we all share certain ethnic, nobody in the UK is trying to deny Anglo-Saxons are a Germanic race, English and Danish is a very similar language.
>>
>>92786256
I'm not implying anything against the English. I'm simply stating that there are Irish, Welsh, Scottish, and English ethnicities not where you are born. Ex. Sterling & grealish are not english. I understand the point that a lot of England today may have an ancestor from Ireland like Rooney or Jagielka or Michael Bisping even, but there's a difference between having full foreign ancestry like amir khan & jack grealish than just a distant Grandparent like Gareth Bale (who many don't know was actually eligible for england)
>>
>>92786188

>grealish isn't english because he's ethnically irish
>doesn't even have a 100% irish background
>has a mixed irish and english background, like a lot of english people, yet he's 100% ethnically irish

this is your logic, stop spewing this drivel
>>
He should go to Leicester and form a deadly trio with Maddison and Barnes.
>>
>>92786317
Your assumption on Grealish is that Ireland is some unspoiled Celtic ethnostate. What kind of surname is Grealish? His Great-Great Grandfather was born in England and played for England.

>>
>>92785809

What I've learned today...

Although, the English like to make fun of white americans for being "mutts" "amerimutts", when describing themselves, the English consider themselves a large combination of celtic, french, scandanavian and other ethnicities.
>>
>>92786647
Most English people don't consider it, they're just like "am fuckin English m8, u wna fuckin go?WHITE ROSE WHITE ROSE"
>>
>>92785208
Wrong
>>
>>92785580
I know loads of muppets who claim they are irish because of their "dads brothers mums goat's vet" was irish.

pathetic behavior desu
>>
>>92786173
An englishman standing next to a welsh is definately harder to tell vs an englishman next to a german or chinese next to a jap

Fuck, japs and chinese look way different id say
>>
>>92786647
yeah but the mutt meme is funny as it involves brown people, and it's racist ennit. it also pokes fun at american nearly being a non white country
not the same level of humour or as insulting when it's white europeans
>>
>>92785208
>James Maddison
>consistently good
lol
slightly moreso than grealish, sure, but he has lots of bad games
>>
>>92785587
no shit, retard
french team is just all of africa's talented players stolen and put into a team masquerading as a european national team
>>
>>92785208
Grealish was - and is - loads better than Maddison and showed it last season when they were both in the Champ. Only premier league plebs don't rate Grealish.
