woo finals are over, now I can get back to shit posting. Howd your finals go /sci/?
>>10637264I've still got one left you stupid frog
>>10637268what do you have left?
>>10637264i still haven't taken any finalsthey're this upcoming weeki have 3
>>10637264If you shitpost think of your parents, if that means nothing, think of your professors. If that doe
>>10637275oh damn what do you have to take?>>10637280are you gonna finish that?
>>10637270Greek mythology. I'll be reading nonstop for the next two days.
>>10637264I somehow failed my ochem II final. My previous exams were good enough for me to just barely keep a B, though. Otherwise, I got an A on my genetics final, and I suspect I did well in my other classes (linear algebra, intro to proofs, physics II).
Lucky bastard, my finals start from mid June and I probably will finish by the end of July. I have to take general topology, multivariable analysis and physics
>>10637336god speed anon, i just finished my topology and real analysis finals
Got a 100 on logistics final. Though calc 2 was a nightmare
92 on my diff eq final, my last final this year, got an A by 93.01. I feel so blessed (92.99 is an A- and my teacher is someone who never rounds up)
Terrible, I managed to sleep right through all of them.
oh wait, actually I graduated a long time ago
>>10637347what was hard about it anon?
>>10637344Thank you based math anon
>>10637983Everything. I can't remember anything past precalc
>>10637861Little do these kids know that graduating doesn’t excuse you from dreams about missing finals. The relief when you wake up is better than sex
>>10637264pretty good, though i did fuck up my Circuits final by not bringing a calculator that can do complex shit
I aced my communications final, which had been grading the whole class poorly all semester so that's a good bonus. Consequently, I'm pretty sure I fucked up on my math final, which is bad since I'm doing Engineering. I had a 97% avg in the class so I have a bit to play with, but I'll be pretty upset with myself if I fucked up my 4.0.
Got a 68% on my calc final, but what im pissed at the fact that because it was 4 days, on day 3 i averaged a 69 overall, and day 4 was just enough to bring it down
>>10637321math shits fear chemists
>>10637264I assumed I fucked up on my Calc 3 final and I assumed I was gonna have to repeat the class, but my final grade turned out to be a C. I wonder what happened.
not in college, but i have an ap physics c test tomorrow. studied and i'd say im pretty ready for it though.
Good considering I just got finished my master's degree :)
still waiting to find out if I failed a class.
I thought most colleges finished their finals a couple of weeks ago?I already had my week off and finished my first week in the summer semester.
>>10639775hey congrats!!>>10639779fucking same
SUPERIOR QUARTER SYSTEM ANON HERE. Go bruins
finished my finals as well. really enjoyed material anisotropy/symmetry and it gave me an idea for my master's research. so I guess well.
>Still have 2 weeks left
>>10637264>final semester of mechanical engineering degree>2 A+'s, 2 D's, 1 CFuck lads why is ME so damn broad.
>>10639697>calc 3 final stretched out over the course of 4 dayslol wtf are schools doing nowadays, are you indian or something?
>>10637264I still have a few stragglers to finish until I can go back to playing video games and generally dick around.Being a professor is hard
Got 7 chemistry finals papers coming up in 3 weeks time. I'm so fucked for inorganic.
>>106372641 art history final tomorrow
>>10637264>now I can get back to shit posting
Finished calc 3 and physics 2/w lab. I got A's in both. Although That should be given since I was only taking 2 classes. Anyone else in the same boat as me majoring in engineering, but taking their sweet ass time?
>>10643775Took an extra semester to write my MatSci BSc thesis, which I based on finding a flaw in the education program, mainly they forgot to include spark OES spectroscopy as a whole in the curriculum. I have extensive experience in that field, so I wrote a basic little book on the matter, from theory to operation. It is the most basic and common method for QC in metals production, which I am majoring in.Do you guys think it will fly? How cocky should I be on the presentation?
I have one final out of the way, I got a C, however I still made a B in the class and it was the last weeder course so YOLO. I have two left, mathematical statistics on Thursday and econometrics a week from today. Then I finally have some time to get back to doing my undergraduate research 24/7 until the summer semester starts, shits cash.
>>10643775I'm in engineering but my school recommends we take 15-17 credits a semester to graduate on time
>>10637264> 61% after final in multivariable calc> 44% on the final > basically forgot to try> Thought I would fail> somehow I got a C
>>10644047Isn't that a D?
>>10644054Probably but the professor was a frog and nobody could understand him so I think they gave us some extra goodboy points
>>10644069Guess the running total was graded on a curve, congrats
I failed calculus II
>>10644112How is that even possible?
>>10644206this semester was a perfect storm of everything fucking me over as hard as possible in every way imaginable on top of a very difficult/obtuse professor
>>10637300>not contacting Jove in your sweet sleep mid examwill never make it
Got my Riemann surfaces exam tomorrow then I'm done, but not really cos i gotta carry on with the postgrad
>>10644227>>10644112I failed BOTH calc 2 and physics 1, luckily I can replace both of them with a higher grade. I feel you, what matters is we recover our GPA and show consistency in high scores in the future.
I havent even had my first exam it works different here in UK i guess. On one of the modules the average for the january exam was 41% and that was with generous marking, so not looking forward to the next one.
>>10637280>If that doea-anon, are you okay?
>>10637264>Howd your finals go /sci/?Got a 95 on my Stochastics final which let me pass the class with a C lmao. Better than nearly half the class which got D's and F's though,
>>10640081UCB > UCLA.
>>10644251That's a Roman god, brainlet.
>>10644039fuck doing things in 4 years. have fun and do it in 4.5
Does every burger get 90% plus for their classes? What shit tier garbage is this? If everyone is getting 90% or more, does it even matter?
>>10644878fucking based as all hellgo bearswe're almost done
>>10647529In burgerland they have adjusted grades and most can resit and choose the highest grade.
>>10647529most people get shit grades. you're on /sci/. the people here are either smart or autistic about grades.
>>10647533Here in South Africa, we don't get any of that shit. You have your marks and that's it. No curves, no nothing. If you fail, you have to retake the module. We have a saying here, 50 is a pass, 51 is a distinction.
had a final yesterday that i felt good about, and just finished another now. both very difficult, but i think i managed to do very well on both. now one more!
>>10647541that's stupid. if the class happens to be moronically easier one semester, and really difficult another, those should not count the same. you should be graded by how well you perform against your peers.unless the exams are really well controlled, which probably means they're boring and predictable.it's impossible to consistently make interesting and perfectly fair exams.
>>10647545I wish, half of my class is sitting on less than 40% for my advanced real analysis class. I am only slightly above that, yet I'm definitely in the top half of the class. Too bad it still counts as a fail and I'll have to spend the rest of fucking eternity just trying to get my undergraduate. This is why I hate on burgers. Getting their degrees is so fucking easy, here, and in other parts of the world, it ain't.
Get off this website. You're too young, and therefore a faggot. Zoomers in general shouldn't be on here. They're appropriating millenial culture because zoomers are retards.
>>10647560 Meant to reply to >>10639721
>>10647541It's the same almost everywhere else. In the UK you have 40% pass and 70% first class. There are boundaries between. The percentage you get cannot be resat and is not adjusted.Add to that because the American high school level of education is s joke the first two years of college are like the final years of high school elsewhere. Add to the fact they have a major/minor system with compulsory black history and feminist anthropology modules and they come out far least specialist and knowledgeable.
>>10637264I got an A- in a humanities elective I had to take during my senior year. All As besides that.
>>10647560>faggotWhy the homophobia?
>>10647551you can be jealous all you want but it doesnt change the reality that our way makes infinitely more sense than yours does
>>10647580spewing bullshit, who would have guessed?anyone worth their shit starts with real classes in college and took all that in high school anyway. it's not enforced but we all do it. and there is no such compulsory system in place at most schools, aside from a few requirements to take things in the humanities. it is not a bad thing to appreciate art and culture, and the people who do not do so are pathetic.again, your system is moronic. stop trying to play oppression olympics and tell us we're idiots because you fuckers don't understand how to design a simple statistical grading scheme.
>>10647642>this is the type of argument adjusted grading gets you.Faggot we don't have to be graded on a book in order to want to read it in Europe. Enjoy your A (D)
>>10647642>againHaving not made a valid statement beforehand, what are you referring to?
>>10647642Statistical grading is retarded and it allows the spastics to do okay. I did my Bachelors in the UK and did a taught masters in the US (dual citizen) and the European degree system is much more brutal for the undergrads. They start at a higher level and finish at a higher level. The schools over here are really the best in the world because of the research and postgrads we turn out, not because of our shitty undergrads.
