What actually causes autism epidemic in last few years?
My mom works as kindergarten teacher and she says there are much, much more kids in last 10 years diagnosed with autism. Or maybe is it just the fact that autism started to get actually diagnosed, well known and got more coverage?
Eastern Europe here btw.
My theory is, if the autism epidemic is in fact true (it doesn't really have to) responsible for it could either be Chernobyl, soviet shitty drugs or combination of both that would fuck our parents up.

People reproducing later in life.
20s is the prime age.
Early 30s is the healthy limit
Beyond 35 the risks go up exponentially.

Cis male men reproducing late.
It's genetic

Society reached the point where it's actually incompatible with our biological form. We made it too weird and too stupid for all creatures to adapt to it correctly. Some will fail the process and shut down.

you mean too advanced and complex?

Too complex, surely. Advanced, i strongly doubt so. Don't confuse those 2 attributes, they have nothing to do with each other.

Autism went from a diagnosis that included "aspergers syndrome" and essentially near-mental retardation, to a spectrum which encapsulates nearly all social abnormality.
Any person who is surprised or cannot understand where the increase in diagnosis has come from is themselves retarded.

Yea. It went from a specific, rare issue with well defined parameters and got turned into a spectrum disorder.

A lot more people then fit into the category. Combine this with more social services. Psychologists have thusfar been rather industriously creating a lot of work for themselves.

But where are the returns on investment.

This pretty much.

vaccines, water, food
vaccines can't be avoided, the good is mixed with the bad so just pray that odds favor your child. However you can choose to distill your water and eat only organically grown crops. Severely limit meat consumption unless you grew the animals yourself

Most food from the supermarkets today are grown in a disgusting manner, including animal products and vegetables

The fact that someone considers epidemiological data from psychiatry to be valid puzzles me very much.

t. shrink
>>
>>10467854
Because the diagnosis expanded from being retarded to being bad in social situations.

>vaccines, water, food
Vaccines have been tested for safety and they do not give you autism, in fact, nothing gives you autism because it cannot develop, you are born with it.
That's like claiming facebook snake oil can make you grow more limbs.

Autism was expanded.
It doesn't really matter until it reaches moderate or severe, where the person goes from 'socially awkward' to 'have you given him his drugs today? You're sure?'

Several things:
1: Diagnosis got better. Before we'd just say they were "weird" or whatever. Now we have an actual diagnosis.
2: We don't discourage autistic behaviour like we used to. We don't weed out autistic behaviour like before, far to much coddling and "he can't help it, he's autistic" type coddling for kids who are on the super low end of the spectrum.
Hight functioning autistic people can totally learn what behaviours are and are not socially acceptable (even if they don't fully understand why) but we, as societies, have decided that we have to adapt to their behaviour rather than the other way around.
3: Self diagnosis. People use autism, real or faked, as an excuse for their behaviour. Since these people are usually behaving shittily they are more visible.
4: It's over hyped. Various groups want you to believe that autism is on the rise and a horrific, horrific thing so they can con people. Either it's the anti-vaxxers (who are selling magic crystals and "natural" remedies on the side) or its people trying to say they can cure autism, or prevent it or whatever. They want it be seen as an epidemic that needs a solution so they can take advantage.
5: Virtue-signalling. The lefties love to virtue-signal, so what better way to do that than talk about a tiny minority that needs coddling constantly? That's why we get things like some places banning clapping so that it doesn't upset autistic kids. They probably don't even have any autistic kids who are actually put off by clapping, but they'll be damned if they're not going to signal their virtue.
