Im going to be getting an EEG headset soon

Any requests for experiments to do?

Any interesting studies?

Currently working on testing a method using false friends in languages under different states of alertness for an eventual study on inhibitory control. Still designed stimuli, so a long way of from any actual results.

Are you doing to try and lower their inhibition with ethanol?

OK noted ill let you know when I do such experiments

Ill title the thread "EEG Anon"

Tv vs reading book

High sugar meal vs plain meal

Please do the anime one first, I'm very interested to find out the results.

Writing vs Math
Meditation vs sleeping/napping

Also, this might be a longer study, but:
The resting mind prior to one's attained intimacy to their dream state vs one's restng mind while awareness has been trained.

My hypothesis for the last one is that the latter will have less violent EEG readings, and sharper responses to any environmental stimuli.

React to shock videos. Go on a rekt thread and see how you react to death

EEG sucks. The SNR is absolute dogshit. I know because I had to work with it.

Trepan the electrodes into the gray matter, sorted.

write a neural network and train it to recognize brain states in relation to images you train yourself with. Then try to visualize the images you used to train, and see if the neural network can determine what image you are thinking about.

This sounds fun.

they had a successful study about this using spoken word.

You read the words on a paper, the neural net learns how words form in your mind, and eventually it can read your internal monologue, that is if you have one.

This is horrifying. Now we can sus out all the NPCs that need to be deleted.

Now hard mode. Make a neural network that adapts to all possible variations of computer input and creates a neural network that can output all those tasks. Then create a self adapting training program so you train your mind to indicate different tasks on the computer, creating a mental probe for controlling an entire desktop environment.

Find studys on eeg correlates of intelligence then make a progress meter to match those as a form of neurofeedback training

Not cheap lol

Im still figuring out what ill do

I might try just getting a cheaper 4 channel one first

Might also work. What I am looking for is that aha!-moment.

As a person that doesn't know morse code, you've got me curious. Is there is something that clicks at some point and it becomes natural or something?
>>

>Is there is something that clicks at some point and it becomes natural or something?
Yes, and it is a very, very sudden transition from thinking hard on what you hear to effortlessly transcribing the code without even necessarily knowing what you write.

I know it sounds weird but it is in fact much weirder than that even.

You might want to feed this into your favourite translator (gotten from the Radio FAQ):
