I'm a layman btw
Also a chips holder, you're welcome
Great job, i have also used that origami box to keep the peanuts close to me while watching tv
does that box also hold fritos? asking for a friend
cool box, friend!VtGAaW
>>573275No, only ships
>>573218i know a lot of people do this but its not actually healthy to eat off newspaper, those inks aren't food safe. it's a think, i read it somewhere once that people aren't supposed to do this. perhaps i exaggerate the risk but it seems easier to me just not to eat off a newspaper. you can't trust the news in the paper why should you trust the ink. but then again whats the difference between holding a newspaper and then touching food is that bad. oh fuck everything's toxic people wash your hands. but use a natural soap, they seem more expensive but they last longer and aren't products of big chemical.
i see now you have a paper towel on the bottom, i guess its fine then. stay safe. be sure to disinfect any papercuts
>>573354what about funyuns
>>573218Not only are you an origami fella, but you own a thonkpad, man of culture you are.
We should start a trend of making stylized chip/snack holders.
>>573218>chipsDon't you mean fries?
>>573218Holy shit I remember when my 2nd grade teacher taught us how to make these boxes! I would literally make these nonstop because they looked cool. Fucking based fellow paper box maker. Nowadays I’d make boxes for a pencil shave trash bin.
>>573218thinkthink pad whats the distro and de you go there?
>>575145those are crinkle cut potato chips
>>573777>you can't trust the news in the paper why should you trust the inkmakes sense
>>573218My grandma used to make these out of old newspapers, spam, and flyers for holding dinner trash like bones and shells, it made clearing the table away so much easier. She passed away late last year and we inherited a huge stash of them that we continue to use, it feels like she's still with us for those dinners. I plan to pick the trashdition up once we run out.
>>573777>>575263I actually love that line. Based schizo anon.
>>573777I used to do newspaper delivery in my car and the smell of ink would make me lightheaded and nauseous you can't trust the news in the paper why should you trust the inkNice
>>573218The simple square box has to be one of the most useful of all origami patterns I know.
>Lenovo thinkpadI approve
>>576648Damn thanks guy
>>573830I believe anon said only chips.
>>573218Now put some of these in there and it will be perfection
>>573777>you can't trust the news in the paper why should you trust the inkThanks for the chuckle.
>>577404>>577403>>577397whats wrong with thinkpads? amazing performance/price ratio
>>573218in the uk we call them french fries
>>5776171. people hate ching chong (IBM thinkpads are just for fun and can't really be used for modern applications)2. people dont like that we have good laptops for cheap instead of the newest Alienware>>>/g/
>>575263Not called the Fish wRap for nothing.
>>576536We still freeze the fat cut off of meats so that the bears don't get into our trash. Then put it into the bin before they get picked up in the morning. I use a similar box fold to store all that stuff in the freezer. But my grandma would just stuff everything into a plastic bag. I always would wonder what the scavengers in the dump would have to go through to get to the goods.Kudos for your grandma. And good to keep up the tradition.
>>576574Same here. I get lightheaded and nauseous from that ink. Did a delivery for a short while and could not handle it because of that. And breathing problems. I still love getting a local newspaper, though. It's better than online because I can see all the local arrests and recognize some folks that got busted.
>>576585Hell, yeah! That's what I use to store the nicotine gum when there's a snow storm. Or candy... for guests.
