Which one is your favourite flower kusudama?
Look at this cutie
Beautiful, I’m always too intimidated to make one though
do you happen to have the pattern for this one? i can´t find it with google image search.
I've been trying to find it in the watermark's site
nevermind, i found it.

The flowers are from "Hana no kusudama" by Mariko Kubo over a "Lazy" Electra base.
I can't figure out the green leaves, hopefully i can give it a try after my finals.
The green leaves are a lily base you can find on YouTube. Video here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zb2xBlM7EYI&feature=related

I made my mom one of these for mother's day because the hospital didn't allow real flowers. Didn't turn out the best. My advice is, if you're gonna make one, make sure you put something inside the flowers because of you don't, they don't stick in the base very well.
do you have a template for this?

I just love the simplicity
This is the kusudama https://stranamasterov.ru/node/326784

This is the flower

This is the leaves

The proportions are 1:2.14:2.2 kusudama:flower:leaves. The final project is roughly three times taller than the height of the kusudama. You will need 30 sheets to construct the kusudama.
awesome! thank-you for your help!!!
I recommend making an extra 12 flowers if you don't intend to hang it. Good luck and send pics!
There are alot of people who keep the craft exciting..Ekaterina Lukasheva look at her site on the web
.also Live journal was a beautiful kusudama group
Thanks for these links. Translating the instructions isn't as easy as using English ones but the models are beautiful, I sent some to my mam when it was her birthday and she loved them!
