Is what I want not of exist?
I shoot video in the dark, and using a 30mm f2.8 lens
It is shit
I read that I need low f, so I look for f1.2 and f1.4 but then the mm is high like 50
I am crop, Sony aps-c, so to 30mm equivalent need 20mm f1.4 make for full frame camera?
This look not exist what fuck
Only find 1" cctv lens c-mount??
I need full manual controls, no motor for focus or aperture
Oh shit, how will cropfags ever recover.
>what fuck
Try the gear thread next time
This is electric lens, uses motors that will fail under vibration.
I am looking for vintage lens to adapt mostly or true full manual for sony e

Move aside gearfags, best crop lens coming through. Mitakon 35mm f0.95.

Or just buy a speed booster to use with a vintage lens so you get an extra stop of light and less of a crop on the focal length. They're fairly cheap on Aliexpress. You can turn a f1.4 vintage lens into a low light beast with that.

0.95 is more then 1.4 oooh.
Am i correct in wanting lowest f stop possible?
Yes. The lower the f-stop, the more light you will allow to your sensor, allowing you a faster shutter speed when doing night photography which can only result in sharper images. I shoot all my night photography with an adapted Olympus 50mm f1.4 to my X-T2 but I'd go faster than that if possible.

If you can't afford the Mitakon, seriously look into speed booster adapters. You can turn any vintage lens into a wider field of view and faster f-stop lens with one cheap adapter. It's a no brainer if you're really in the realm of manual lenses. Sony E speed boosters for Canon FD, Nikon F, Minolta MD and M42 mounts are readily available on AliExpress and highly recommended.

Or just upgrade to Sony full frame since that will make a big difference to night photography too (bigger sensor = more light gathering in low light).
>Or just upgrade to Sony full frame
SO much money.
and DOF is already touchy. also Why I want lower mm lens, be at infinity focus but still close good

I will surely go with speedbooster on f0.95 lens or someting. if Read right, it seems reduce focal length x0.71 commonly. So I still stuck trying to find 30-35mm lens at f0.95 but better then trying find 20mm
No, in your situation you are interested in the T-stop.
Not the F-stop.
In his situation, he’s not wanting to buy multi-thousand-dollar cinema lenses, so f/stop is a close enough approximation and the only data that’s likely to be listed for the lenses he’s researching without doing real deep dives into the review tests.

Stop being needlessly pedantic.
You don't use a speed booster with the f0.95 lens unless there's a vintage one I don't know about. The closest I've seen is the Canon FD 50mm f1.2 but maybe Nikon has something faster. Not too familiar with their vintage lenses. The 50mm f1.2 is an ideal candidate for the speed booster but the 1.4 is more affordable. See this video for the f1.2 + speed booster + Sony combo.

Fastest speed-boostable lens out there would be canon’s EF 50/1.0, which is ridiculously expensive and out of the op’s price range.

Nikon’s fastest lenses for F mount were all f/1.2.

That being said, he doesn’t really need f/0.95, f/1, or even f/1.2. He’ll probably be fine with f/1.4 or f/1.8, especially if they’re on a speed booster.
I'm still hoping the chinks release an Olympus Om speed booster for E, FX or EF-M mounts. I have so many Oly lenses I'd love to boost but they seem to be ignored so far compared to the other common mounts.
You can double-adapter it—there exist adapters to mount an OM lens on an EF camera mount, so use one of those plus a Canon speedbooster to your mount of choice.
are you sure your videos are good enough to justify a few hundred for a new lens? just raise the ISO a stop and do some editing

what shutter speed are you using?
Canon 24mm 1.4
1/125 becaus 60fps video
They are not, which why I am looking more at vintage lens. I actually cant record at all with lens I have because it loses focus. but ~4-500 for lens and speed booster, or a ~$200 gopro ehh
where are you getting $400-500 for a lens and speed booster from? A speed booster is around $70 on AliExpress and a decent vintage f1.4 lens is around $60 on eBay, such as the Takumar 50mm f1.4.
I want 20mm
Why not just buy a cheap chink wide angle then? One of the 7artisans/Meike/Viltrox etc lens will work fine if you need a wide angle. Pretty sure Meike a 12mm f2.8 that's supposed to be really good.

Vintage wide angles are rare and expensive. I paid about $150 for my Olympus 24mm f2.8. At least a speed booster makes any vintage lens you use wider by default though since it's reducing the focal length closer to its original look on full frame.
because I also want the best low light performance I can get. but I probably will just go with a chinkshit wide angle
