>>
>>3432590
No it's great advice. None of these pictures are objectively, let alone subjectively "good", cept maybe OP's OP image.
Nothing is framed or lit worth a damn, just some macabre-centric laborer who pulls out their phone for the next corpse.
Death should be handled a little maturely and all of these shots are no better than some snapshits seen around.
Get better, currently you amount to nothing.

Nice advice (except the get a camera one) but i think that death is something thats not special nor important, i mean yeah if your mother suddenly died it would be super special, and it would hurt a lot, but death on itself its beautiful see the picture, how all of the animals are finally in peace and happy, how they turned into the most basic form of life itself, they fullfiled the end goal of life
dead
And so are like cute little babies finally able to become their better selves its amazing and wonderful dont you think?
Also any advice in how to take better pictures

Yeah, learn to focus and frame a shot to show some meaningful conposition. If you want to talk about the simplicity, beauty, apathy or bleakness of the cycle of life & death, then learn what those terms encompass when it comes to taking a photo of the dead subject itself, and whats around it (background/foreground) and the coloring/lighting of the aforementioned.

Post-process in Capture One or Snapseed if you must since certain colour pallettes and lighting/luminoscity curves suit certain photos better to "tell a better story".

Don't sit here and preach when you haven't read the sticky, and are posting images above the acceptable pixel/size limit willy nilly, and can't even be arsed to focus: >>3432610 or frame and light properly: >>3432499.

About pixel size am a newbie i dont really know how to change that, but about lighting, i been playing with it a long time like in >>3432499
I tried moving exposure a little cause the pic was in a market with really soft lights and in >>3432617
i tried and use a filter, but even though i liked the end result i dont "like it" cause it feels to artificial so what settings should i use? most of my pictures are either in the night or late evening and the unfocus ones are cause i get a little to excited when taking them and others cause i get nervous cause theres people around me, is there a trick to not getting nervous when taking a picture? or its just pure bravery?
Also this one i think is pretty decent

Yeah i guess that Objectively these photos are shit like >>3432620 anon pointed out, but i now have an answer, most of these pictureas are taken in the heat of the moment, i have a kinda busy life and most of the time im running hence some of them are so unfocused, plus the excitement of "Oh! a dead body!!!" plus the fact that normally there are people around me so i can't take my time taking them (redundancy) is there a tip for taking good pictures in this types of cases where you gotta be lighting fast and are unprepared?

Also, today's one, a little different than usual

Fuck that. >>3432674 is one of the best pictures Ive ever seen in this board. Precisely because its a shitty camera causing blur weird pixel colors, plus an off composition. Look at that thing again; it is very genuine. Were it you or any standard fucker taking the pic, it would look like a pic taken from a man who does not feel the subject which he is trying to portray. It would look like a picture of a man scared to engage with the substance. A more savvy photographer could try supercloses, and that would be better- yet it would not be as it is now.
Look at how comfortable the distance is- this man is not attempting to get death on our faces, yet he does not beckon away. There is intimacy between the subject and the object. The bad quality only adds to this- like how you would take a random blurry picture of your girlfriend- but mixing those attributes with the red and dark colors, that is precisely how it gains an aspect of creepyness. The creepyness of casually taking a blurry, unrehearsed, genuine picture of a cranium clad in vermin. This was not for anyone else. This was OP taking the pic for himself, because he likes it. He did not take it for anyone else, so he did not care for or study what anyone else thinks of photography to please them- it is all about registering the moments most dear to himself.
This is how it becomes a sensational picture- It is a man outside photography that did photography more sinister than probably any of you could, even with the same set of objects.

Wether or not you get a camera and fix your shit according to the rules, OP, is your call. My invitation is only to experiment and not become stale.

You're not doing anything more than jumping on a bandwagon... one that most people grow out of after their edgy teen years.

You aren't original. You aren't being artistic. You aren't being deep or meaningful. You're simply being a cringelord.

Of course no, no one is just look at all the photos of buildings, streets, rooms, or animals in all the other threads (not saying they are bad, actually i dont think that with my cellphone i could imitate something like those guys did) even simpler go to /b/, or gurochan, dead is not original is as ancient as life, and people have been taking photos of dead things since ancient times, like in the past they took pictures and portrays of dead children and people, its not original, nor shitty, is just normal.
>You aren't being artistic. You aren't being deep or meaningful.

Its impressive how you for no reason assume OP is trying to be an ultra unique deep and meaningful art duke instead of just a guy that takes pics, AS HE LITERALLY SAID, going so far as to mention the fact that lots of people do this kind of thing as somehow a sign that the practice is bad
It should literally be the inverse
That there are so many results should reinforce that there are in fact people that enjoy this kind of thing
In this very thread we see people like OP's stuff, yet you seem to refuse to acknowledge that
Do you think the 700,000,000 results in google are all 14 years old edgy emos who will grow out of in a year too?
How can one be so fucking dumb, that they think that the market for pictures has the same opinions
This sounds an awful lot like you're the edgy pseudo, "my taste is the only taste, all else are fads and phases, learn the rules and never take a weird pic" nigger

Shot by me, near home. Maybe a dead dog burned in post-death. Great funeral.

Wow, could you be any more edgy? This is textbook elitism pot calling the kettle black.
>comfortable distance away/not superclose
I wonder where this distance was learned from, gee. Our arms are only so long, and the ground is inversely proportionally distanced from an outstretched smartphone camera.
>theres a creepyness to blurry, unrehearsed, genuine oictures
There's a creepyness to shoegaze, wall noise, free tone and any of that crappily efforted "music", but there is an elegance and _true_ emotionally scared shitless response behind refined binaural off-key classical piano. Or even the good stuff like bulgarian women's choir from Alone In The Dark.
>this was not for anyone else, he did not take it for anyone else
Except you are wrong. The moment OP uploaded it to /p/ and started defending it ot was no longer meant for *just him*.
He posted it wanting a response and reaction.
He did not receive a favourable one, so do not lie to me.

Putting all that aside, you make a good point that OP is pushing against the grain to show something new and very raw and very real that deserves some merit. I'm personally a hybrid contemporary traditionalist, meaning I want to use traditional tried&trues in a contemporary/modern sense. Rework and recycle the old into the new.
OP's images are objectively a catastrophe, but if taken a little, just a little, more carefully and thoughtfully and with a higher quality, the they could be very well done.

Literally all these are really goddamn good, and show what I mean by puttibg a little effort into it.
There is no shortage of "0 effort snapshits".

What most of us are also not happy about is OP's naive and fetishistic response to anything dead he sees, which is just not the societal norm. To act with eager salivating enthusiasm to morbidity instead of sympathy, sorrow, or revulsion is a bit weird.

No, that's fine, I don't need validation from strangers. I'm not going to cry myself to sleep over that tonight.

Happy to see that i still have some potential, the only think i can do now is lear how to take better photos using my cellphone since i dont have enough money for a 4k camera

Well i dont think i react in a "naive" way, and i never said i dont feel sorrow or sadness, because i do im not made of rock, i like to pet dogs and cats, and in my hood theres no doggo or cat that i havent petted and fed, buuuuuuut yeah ill admit that i do get excited when finding a dead body and i wouldnt say "salivating" i rather use excitement (it sounds a little less creepy), like not complaining or anything i just dont want you guys to have the wrong idea about me, im a nice guy and could probably get along with everyone that has posted in this thread
