These are almost completely worthless
They are universal so they never cover the tank top to bottom, leaving spots for the zipper to scratch
They are all designed with wing like dumb patterns, leaving openings for zipper scratches when leaning
My jacket has plastic fasteners on the sides to tighten the jacket around the waist as well so they fuck up my tank
I also ride with a plate carrier packed with m4 mags when I open carry and they've scratched my tank too

Anyone figure out a good way to transport a pizza on a sport bike let me know. Also bombest pizza ever right here.
>>
>>21066417
Not him but personally I base acceptable mileage off of the cosmetic condition of the bike (especially when it comes to details) and the personal impression I get from the seller and how they keep/carry themselves and/or their living spaces. I had an '86 Shadow with 33k miles when I got it but I wasn't worried in the slightest because the thing looked clean even into the little cracks and crevices, and the PO was a dude in his 70's who babied it.

There's a difference between cleaning and "maintaining" something to make it look better to sell and cleaning and maintaining it because you care for it, and if you look hard enough you can see that. Also if the seller looks like a trainwreck themselves, and/or if their house/other vehicles look like shit (assuming you meet at their property), they probably neglected the bike too.

tl;dr, if you know it was well-cared-for, I wouldn't necessarily be driven off by a 20-30k+ mileage Honda.

Yeah you could put a 125 in it if you want, but in most cases with mopeds the engines just stick out one side all goofy because the sprockets don't line up well. If you really want more power then a big bore kit would be the way to go. Although that would sacrifice a lot of reliability on a moped especially and they are still fun at stock speed imo. my Tomos moped only goes 45km/h top speed but i love it. Personally i would keep it stock, but if you definitley want more power, then i would say a big bore kit, and i dont know much about 4 stroke modding, but for a 2 stroke a bigger carb, airfilter, and expansion chamber exhaust plus a well done upjet would get you way more torque and power. In fact you might be able to de-restrict your bike anyway for free power because some are like that. Oh and a different size sprocket on the rear tire in case you want more acceleration or more top speed :) (my bike in the picture btw)

Real nice bike to climb up the mountainous regions here.
I hope you will enjoy it for a long time. Two strokes are awesome!

There's one for sale here for $1500 but it looks older than yours (1977) and missing the front fender.

Also, guys, just a reminder for nogf anons

it doesn't get better on the other side

I've been riding for 5 years and up until last November it was my passion in life, but now I'm a father and it's ruined motorcycles for me. There have been 15 motorcycle deaths in the last 4 months in my city and now I can't put a leg over without obsessing for a few minutes over what it would be like to leave my child without a dad.

Enjoy your solitude, you're invincible until you're everything to somebody else.

Most organizations have three or four groups, from novice to advanced/expert. There are all sorts of bikes in novice, 300's, adv bikes, etc. Pretty universally, you aren't allowed to pass on the inside anywhere but in the advanced group. Any questions you could have would be easily answered by coaches in a beginner course.
If you're in the states, EvolveGT has a good intro to track day course, just go to their site and sign up.

But for real, I've never had to wear more than a tshirt under my jacket because it never goes under -2c were I live. I understand that can't always be the case, but jackets, pants, boots, gloves and helmets (well actually, helmets are a sort of 50/50 result) abate skin abrasions and grip the road surface less when there is less surface area to do so. You'd see GP riders ragdoll the instant they came off if that were the case, instead of skating semi-gracefully across the track at high speeds. The higher coefficient of grip at lower speeds it what eventually puts the former rider into a tumble.

Usually easier.... way easier and more likely you will dump clutch before you learn clutch control.
>>
>>21068333
Easier.

A bike engine has way less inertia than a car engine because the entire rotating assembly is lighter, flywheel included.

The good thing is you can slip the clutch all day on a bike because it's bathed in engine oil. If you did that in a car you'd completely fuck the clutch.

Stalling isn't an issue if you learn how to use a clutch properly.
