*triggers domestic truck owners*
>>
My dad's Ford has this, though it isn't the full window sadly.
>>
>>20946993
Kinda wish I had this on my Ram but i have the sutomatic back middle window slide over so not too unhappy about it
>>
>>20946993
wow I didn't even know that they did this
Does it at least roll down all the way?
>>
>Tundra
>Not domestic

How is it an import if it isn't built or even sold anywhere else in the world?
>>
>>20947086
Not an import, but its not domestic. Despite some of the profits being reinvested over here, the ultimate end of the line (and control) will always be via Japan, not the US.
>>
>>20947128
>truck built in texas by americans
not domestic
>"american" trucks built by mexicans in mexico from chinese steel
domestic
>>
Not only can I do that, but can you do this?
How can tundra fangirls compete?

lol faggot get on my level, i can hide in my trunk box
>>
>>20947178
Silly concept imo, you can have a registered agent and be domestic to any country in the world, say Switzerland. Now you foreign file in another country to do business, such as the US. As far as anyone is concerned, you design, produce, sell, ship from, and operate exclusively in the US. But because you're foreign filed and using a "Swiss entity", you are basically considered a Swiss company.

The same can be done between states, such as using a Nevada entity to operate in your home state of New York. You still have to foreign file to do business in the state of New York, and get a certificate of good standing, but you are taxed as a Nevada entity, and are protected under its privacy and protection laws for all intents and purposes. So even though you don't even do business in Nevada, you're a Nevada based company.

>>
>>20947274
the avalanche is just a shitty version of a truck, it's not good at being a truck or an SUV

at least the Ridgeline is good at being an SUV
>>
>>20947254
Maybe I don't like spending $90 more a month on gas.
>>
>>20947277
>shitty version of being a truck or an SUV
>literally a regular cab long bed or a crew cab short bed
>offered the ride of a suburban but the capability of a silverado
Literally the most versatile truck that was on the market
>>
>>20946993
that is such a pointless "I don't use my truck for hauling, and even if I did I would die" feature.

honestly, any truck on the road that doesn't have a headache rack needs to be avoided as it's probably being driven by a distracted Stacy looking at her phone with her crotchlings in the back.
>>
>>20946993

have already had this option for decades

>>
>>20946993
Cool trick, come back when your shit does actual work.
>>
>>20947324
>what is a vacuum cleaner
I hauled just about everything in mine with zero issues. Motorcycle, branches, mulch, woodchips, concrete, mobile swimming pool, etc. Stay mad that it’s the best truck for 90% of pickup buyers.

Ford is owned by the Ford Family, Vanguard Group, and Evercore. All three of these companies operate out of eastern US. Toyota Motor Company is owned by the Toyota Group which operates out of Japan.

>>20947047

i'm surprised the big three haven't copied this idea yet. especially GM since they copy everyone.
>>
>>20946993
Nigga even my Del Sol can do that, and it's heated. I've always wondered why cucktrucks don't make use of that otherwise unused space under the window?
>>
>>20946993
Wish they could do this with the Tacoma
>>
first gen Tundras are great trucks, as long as you undercoat them yearly if you live north

also avoid 00-03 models, tranny had a small chance of exploding if used for heavy towing, and the brake calipers were too small for the truck

First gen Tundras were the only good Tundras. The second gen is just way too big, unless you get the double cab.

>>
>>20951530
yeah I still drive my 01 and don't want to get a second gen, they're pig disgusting

having said that, they did have problems, as you'd expect from a new/first gen model I suppose. My tranny exploded (previous owner was a carpenter that towed a big ass trailer. He turned o/d off and had regular flushes but the tranny still died. They had weak o/d gears that were beefed up on the 03+ models) so I got a used 04 transmission in it. I also upgraded my calipers to the bigger 04 model. Lower ball joints snapped due to their design. I put revised OEM ones.
