It appears my wheel ants have evolved and became “everywhere in the car” metropolitan ants. How do I deal with this problem?
>>
>>20940330
This is true if your auto trans is already on the brink of death. Because the sediment becomes your friction material. Flush it out and your shit won't work

Leave two open cans of soda in your car, and set the car out in the sun. Give it about 3 hours and then immediately throw away the cans. Your ant problem will be solved.

It gets into the city water, the city finds out, the epa or state conservation department comes in and tests it and they follow it back up the aquafer to your neck of the woods, get permission or use easements and find out you've been burying your oil for years. Get hit with a massive 5 digit fine lucky if it's not 6

You don't need a tune for those bolt on parts. Just add the new cold air intake and let it rip!

Turn off overdrive on your car to save gas. Turn it on to go faster!

When driving a car with a manual transmission, don't bother with turning off your car when you get into the spot, just let the car stall itself.

Don't run only coolant and anti freeze in your car. The engine pump needs to be lubricated so add about a quart of motor oil to the system so the pump has a longer life

My Merc-O-Matic trans from 1964 starts in 2nd by default. No there's not really a downside to starting in 2nd in a manual, but very few cars will be geared in such a way where it's useful.

Ram 2500 diesel with the manual trans owner's manual says it's OK to start in 2nd but will accelerate clutch wear.
Then some trucks like the older Fords had a "granny" first gear where you were supposed to start in 2nd unless towing a big load.
It depends on your gearing really.

What terrible advice; every/o/ne knows you have to use krylon.
>>
>>20945305
sort of
the water's being forced up from the hill naturally
also, the water's source is above the oil disposing location in question
>>
>>20945330
it'll also reduce friction making your pads last much longer
really this is basic maintainance
>>
>>20945585
No its not. Water comes from wells deep underground. The pressure is what brings it to the surface. You pour oil into a shallow hole on your property there is no question it'll leach into your well.
>>
>>20945780
the water's source is probably from higher up the mountain. so unless if the oil would find its way up the hill inside of the soil I see no danger

That's not how you spell retarded.
>>
>>20940322
When driving a manual accelerate up to speed, then shift into neutral and coast to your stop. Coasting prevents wear and tear on the engine, clutch and transmission, saves on gas, and makes steering easier.
>>
>>20945886
>higher in the mountain
That assumes you get it from a resevoir and somehow the aquafer is above ground. Oil still will leach into it. Wells for New England residential homes can vary between 100 and 500 feet deep.

>Heavier cars can corner faster. The GTR is super heavy and it uses that weight plus its crazy awd system to throw itself around corners. F1 cars generate thousands of pounds of downforce by design. More weight on the wheels = better traction.

Maybe if you dump a thousand gallons. Back in the 60s we lived about a half mile from a service station that was beside a creek that also ran behind our house. Once or twice a year the creek would turn black. Those were the days, man.

Remove your air filter for moar hp gains. You only need an air filter if you live somewhere dusty like the outback
>>
>>20948887
The Water station does testing literally every day, they'll know when the amount you're putting into the river hits the ppb level. They follow it up stream, take soil and water samples until they stop seeing it then use the area where it stopped as the ground where it must have been dumped.

EPA/ State Environmental Agency doesn't fuck around.
