Finland:

So many e46 bimmers / audi a4 b5s / mk4 golfs with cut springs, stretched steelies, bubbly tint, shitty yellow tint fog lights, gut-shattering subwoofers and muffler deletes. Driven by vocational school students holding a cigarette in one hand and an energy drink in the other. Tuned by driver's friend's older brother at the school garage.

Turbo diesels with more boost, stanced old Golfs.
Fiesta ST's and maybe some Mk2 Focus ST's at the parking lot.

My area has some muscle car fetish which is dope (have a V8 burger myself), it's because the US military base.
Most of the guys and girls are actually in the 20s, so no boomer shit.
Have US car meets thru out the year, meet chill people.

The only cunts are the JDM larpers, who's events always get shut down because they crash into each other.

Sounds like heaven
>>
UK
>40% dickheads leasing German cars then remapping and vinyl wrapping them, flash wheels, cat-back and maybe suspension at most
>40% boomers buying 90s JDM imports then spending tens of thousands on high HP builds so they can all stand in a field looking at them
>10% old school Max Power hatchback style mod culture
>10% British and American clasic car restoration

There’s a big track culture though, most people with a performance car will circuit race it at some point.
>>
>>20822585
it fucking sucks. Every car looks exactly the same.

Lowering still happening occasionally. Stock paint jobs usually, tinted windows came back in. Off the shelf, wheels and in the weeds. Also, mat black paint job is still popular.
>mid range 1.5 hatchback

Quite a few BMWs, Mercedes, straight body work, prestige model, lowering , wheels , change the color of the indicator lenses
>1.6-2ltr family saloon

Lotus, Ferrari , Jaguar, etc.
>as stock

Anomalies do turn up from time to time.

After decades of unimaginative german bbs for 500 eur cut/lowering springs chinese lights and fake badges JDM and more interesting euro and american cars are just about the only interesting cars around.
German cars are for the poor and boring.

Not TUV approved.

>>20822683
>cut springs
Why do people do this!?!? Just get some lowering springs, or get nothing, poorfag.
>>
>>20822690
You can lower your car however much you want without having to buy coilovers that way. It sucks to buy lowering springs, install them and then find out that your car is too low or too high.
>>
Balkan shithole here.
It's basically hot hatces and rotaries, with the occasional bimmer (registered as 316 for less of course).
There's so many rx-8s on the streets, there's one parked on every corner even in poor neighbourhoods.
Wonder how people afford maintanance on these things.
>>
Pretty scarce. Only the wealthy can afford it since all the "tuner" cars have been lawfully expropriated to give to child refugees. My friend Damien managed to get the 2500RPM redline on his 0.9L diesel Polo removed but it seems the mandatory restrictor kicks in above 100KPH anyway.

tuning is gay, it's all about functional improvements to prepare for rallye / hillclimb.

Why would a Bong swap units on an American website? Are you trolling or just thick?
>>
>>20821766

it's all about track/amateur rally preparations nowadays. you'll se lots of cars on semislicks, with modified suspension, smaller wheels, bucket seats, other functional stuff. can't say i hate it

Pic related: from a Finnish tuner forum
>>
>>20821766
russians have four kinds of tuners: tasteless bimmer abuse, tasteless jdm abuse, "my car is superior, look at it" rich tasteless faggots in denial and ridiculous kulibin contraptions duct taped out of soviet rust buckets.
>>
>>20822806
calling themselves tuners, can't even fix a broken suspension.

Aren't they VW 1.8T swapped? I've heard that it's popular RX8 swap in Poland apparently lel.

Ah i still remember my first year with motorcycle, i would race so many of those fucking white trash volvo/bmw/benzes. You could always tell them from far away because the awful sound those illegal motonet mufflers make and when you get closer you can spot giant stickers on rear, PLAUPUNKT or TRACKDAY.COM. Best part is that those shitboxes are always awful slow so making em look like shit they are, was very easy.

The paperwork for slight modifications is so expensive and a pain in the ass, so very few actually walk that mile.
Others install cone air filters and LED headlights
>>
>>20822847
No, most rotaries have proper doritos in them here in denbtsland.
You get the occasional RB26 swap and people even throw s2000's engine in there, but most are stock. There are even a few 3 rotor rx8s around.
>>
>>20822783

He’s thick, he doesn’t even know the UK is in Europe
>>
>>20823379
And also one of the biggest faggots, a good example of the "I want a racecar" attitude without understanding anything beyond "just boost the engine bro".
Hasn't built a single tasteful car in his entire career, shills for just about every major german manufacturer.
Even the video you posted. A cage in a Golf, for what purpose? That shitbox is not nearly fast enough to warrant welding a cage into its frame.
>>
>>20822806
Hyi vittu mitä paskaa. Jenkki autojen harrastajat on ainoita järkeviä ihmisiä täällä. On se jännä kun jotkut oikeesti innostuu jostain vuosikymmeniä vanhoista turbo diiseleistä ja pitää niitä jonain Jumalan suurimpina lahjoina ihmiskunnalle :D
>>
>>20823739
I think he has a pretty clear understanding from what differentiates a race-car from a show-car.

>A cage in a Golf, for what purpose? That shitbox is not nearly fast enough to warrant welding a cage into its frame.

its an engine-swap
>>
>>20823739

You don’t need a powerful car to warrant a cage you busriding spastic
>>
Thankfully seemingly dying out. Fartcanned 90 hp Golfs are a fucking PLAGUE.
>>
>>20823739
>A cage in a Golf, for what purpose? That shitbox is not nearly fast enough to warrant welding a cage into its frame.
He's swapping in a VR6 turbo that's eventually gonna make 1,200 hp.
>>
>>20822690
they are poorfags.
What you expect outta people driving sub grand e36's, e46's and audis?
>>
>>20823383
only ones doing proper builds are racers, drifters and such. Only ones doing proper builds for street are JDM guys cause their cars are actually expensive.
>>
>>20823739
>A cage in a Golf, for what purpose?
A cage in a golf is neccesary for wheel to wheel racing.
