Gotta get them riding young just in case they turn out amazing riders and then their parents don't have to work anymore when they start racing in the big leagues.
This is like parents forcing their kids into beauty pageants in the hopes that a model agency picks them up and they become rich.

Oh btw this dealership is giving me a gift basket and taking 10% off my used bike purchase for being a member of allstate inusrance when i go in tomorrow.

Is financing a bike a not-retarded idea?
>>
>>20091938
It's only retarded if you can't pay the bike off within the first year, otherwise you are wasting money paying interest fees.

People didnt have performance machines, so they modded their own to make them lighter and faster. Companies noticed this and started building machines that came that way from the factory. Thats just good business.

Looks just like mine! They're worth the money in my opinion. I came from cruisers (Had a Suzuki Boulevard C50 before) and I'll never go back to them after riding the Z900. It's got more power than I'll ever be able to handle, lightweight, and unbelievable amount of torque.
I ditched the stock muffler and went with the Leo Vince LVL-10, handlebar mirrors, radiator guard, and some R&G frame sliders on it. Haven't gotten around to putting the muffler or frame sliders on yet, but will post pics when I finally get a day off work to put the time into it, and will have updated pics soon.

started life as a 1985 Harley FXWG, 1340cc Evo engine with a cam + 10:1 compression pistons + carb, 4 speed kick start transmission. this engine, frame, and transmission combo was only available in 1985 and 86.

so far i have added +8" fork tubes, 70s sportster tank, 70s sportster fender which was cut down and will receive a molded tail light/plate holder/backrest wounted with fender struts made by BnC Cycles (@bnc_cycles IG) out of toronto i believe (see pic related, its what im basing my bike off of)

I like my cruiser for comfort. It's great on road trips.
>>
>>20092478
All my buddies who have rode my cruiser have said how nimble it is for its size. It's surprisingly easy to toss around. 31° of lean is plenty enough for fucking around anywhere besides the mountains by me
>>
>>20092479
I don't really ever leave the state. I can ride my Z for 2 hours usually before I need a break for my legs. It's not an overly aggressive ride, and is actually fairly comfy even on longer days in the saddle.
>>20092480
I live in Kentucky. Mountains are everywhere, and a daily ride for me when I take the bike out.
>>
>>20092483
I've done over 1k mile days and wasnt even close to being sore the next day.
I can and have done mountains with my cruiser. Its perfectly capable but obviously not optimal. But I do a lot of traveling so I def prefer my comfort
>>
>>20092489
I ride my bike almost exclusively for leisure. I like the handling it has, and the takeoff it can do. Top speed isn't the best (I've hit 168 maxing it out) but I don't ever really need to go that fast if ever, but I like to know it will if I ever decide to go that fast.
Coming from cruisers, I do sometimes miss the comfort factor of them, but not enough to go back to them.

Good for keeping broken pieces of sparkplug porcelain at the ready.

I keed I keed

I thought about leg pouches but you can only carry the minimal things like wallet, phone, keys, condoms (not that i need them) and maybe some candy. which is handy for maybe a commute or short ride but i would prefer a hip bag in that case, easier to take on/off and more usefull when walking (stuff at arms reach without bending over)

Tankbag is much more usefull for touring etc. Also I think leg pouch only looks cool if you athetlicly built and have a big package that prints trough your pants.
