There are people buying electric cars that go slower than walking speed for 5-6 year old kids for $400-$500 when a pocket bike costs like $200
"It's dangerous" said the parents of bubble boy.
Gotta get them riding young just in case they turn out amazing riders and then their parents don't have to work anymore when they start racing in the big leagues. This is like parents forcing their kids into beauty pageants in the hopes that a model agency picks them up and they become rich.Oh btw this dealership is giving me a gift basket and taking 10% off my used bike purchase for being a member of allstate inusrance when i go in tomorrow.
Rode to Maccas to try the McRib. It was disappointing.
>>20091592Just had chick fil a. It was glorious. Now some cheesecake from cheesecake factory
>>20091592Did you know the McRib is made with the same foam they use for yoga mats and flip flop sandals?
Just got back from a night ride.People posting in the thread with blank OP.Try to do something nice for people and what do you get?

What's up, fellow goy?
>>20091711Why would they pull you over? Do they pull over cagers that have their seat reclined too far?
>>20091722Alright that's what I thought too but I keep seeing images like that one and in the tuning up for riders booklet saying not to
>>20091398couple years ago approx 12-14 I used to ride with a dude who had a kid. He got the kid a little atv when he was 2 or 3. Now the kid is 16 and races in motocross
I can just pressure wash my bike the same as a car, right?
>>20091741First good bike posted itt
>>20091739Probably because it reduces your visibility, and makes it harder for cars to see you and can fuck you your balance/change steering dynamics.
>tfw wheelies don't help the feelies
>>20091752be carefull you shouldnt aim at where ur electronics are or the batter. Its easy to get water into the components and fuck up ur electronics. But everything else is ok
>>20091754Only bike posted itt*
>>20091711Sportriders ride like that 24/7 on their bike, they don't get pulled over unless they are speeding.I do the samething sometimes on the freeway because I have a naked bike I'm late to work and I'm going 100-120mph.
>>20091711It isn't illegal, but it is retarded.Get a windscreen if you want wind protection.
>Kymco Spade 150>5 gears instead of 4>has 3 more more horsepower than the grom>topspeed 70mph so technically highway capable>comes with a centerstand stock>comes with 12v charging outlet stock>electronic push button start>not fucking carbureted>OTD price all together is still less than the MSRP of a Grom or Z125 and that's without their fees applied yet.I think I'm going to buy one of these fucking things as a soda runner.
>>20091719dealership near me is selling a used 2017 Z900 for $8k OTD, the thing has less than 5k miles.I paid $8k OTD for my FZ07 2 years ago, I am I bit sad now of what could have been if I waited.

Bit sad desu.
>>20091882>>20091869I kek'd but seriously this just creates more drag
Is financing a bike a not-retarded idea?
>>20091938It's only retarded if you can't pay the bike off within the first year, otherwise you are wasting money paying interest fees.My last bike the dealer gave me 4% 3 years wanted me to pay like 60 a month, I paid the bike off in 9 months doing 200-250 a month.
>>20091938That all depends
>>20091938>>20091938I don't understand what you're really asking
>>20091938Nothing wrong with building credit, it's retarded if you accept a super high interest rate, or if you are like my retard cousin financed a car way out of his pricerange and is stuck still living in his parents house for the next 2 years until the car payment is paid off.
>>20091953In terms of performance? Reliability? fit and finish? Looks? Comfort?

>>20091921I don't get it, it's already a cafe race what did they even change?
>>20091944>>20091960I mean I'm willing to pay extra each month toward the principal and I'm willing to build credit (but my current score is abysmally trash). I have a decent job but I guess the worst a dealership can do is say no?
>>20092000Yup.Go for it.Or wait until snow starts falling and everybody cuts their asking price in half

>>20092119His post were good and hes a cool guy. Not many anons here have done trips even close to what hes done
>>20092046The difference is that sportbikes are acutal performance machines, gayboyracers end up costing just as much to build as a decent mid-2000's sportbike and make a quarter of the power, half the braking ability and give you aids

>>20092129go suck his dick then
>>20092140They still came from cafe bikes.People didnt have performance machines, so they modded their own to make them lighter and faster. Companies noticed this and started building machines that came that way from the factory. Thats just good business.

>>20092160Looks just like mine! They're worth the money in my opinion. I came from cruisers (Had a Suzuki Boulevard C50 before) and I'll never go back to them after riding the Z900. It's got more power than I'll ever be able to handle, lightweight, and unbelievable amount of torque. I ditched the stock muffler and went with the Leo Vince LVL-10, handlebar mirrors, radiator guard, and some R&G frame sliders on it. Haven't gotten around to putting the muffler or frame sliders on yet, but will post pics when I finally get a day off work to put the time into it, and will have updated pics soon.

>>20092457I've had 2 cruisers though. >S40 Boulevard>C50 BoulevardThey're ok, but lack the fun meter my Z900 has. I like being able to go 0-60 in under 4 seconds.
>>20092465What does that have to do with prices on indians?
>>20092465fast cruisers are pretty goshdarn fun tho
Reminder that winter hasn't even started yet.
>>20092468Nothing. But I do like the overall appearance of Indians vs everyone else. They're neat looking bikes, and that's why anyone buys a cruiser, for their appearance.
>>20092461heres what my bike looked like up until about early november
>>20092465And you can't really compare two lower end suzuki cruisers to the new indian lineup.>>20092469This is so true. Jumping a front tire on a heavy cruiser or doing power slides is fun af
>>20092469Yeah but they're overly heavy. You can have the speed, but the handling on most fast cruisers is terrible.I rode my buddies Vulcan 650 S which was surprisingly fast, but handling SUCKED because it was a cruiser.
>>20092472I like my cruiser for comfort. It's great on road trips.
>>20092478All my buddies who have rode my cruiser have said how nimble it is for its size. It's surprisingly easy to toss around. 31° of lean is plenty enough for fucking around anywhere besides the mountains by me
>>20092479I don't really ever leave the state. I can ride my Z for 2 hours usually before I need a break for my legs. It's not an overly aggressive ride, and is actually fairly comfy even on longer days in the saddle.>>20092480I live in Kentucky. Mountains are everywhere, and a daily ride for me when I take the bike out.
>>20092483I've done over 1k mile days and wasnt even close to being sore the next day. I can and have done mountains with my cruiser. Its perfectly capable but obviously not optimal. But I do a lot of traveling so I def prefer my comfort
>>20092489I ride my bike almost exclusively for leisure. I like the handling it has, and the takeoff it can do. Top speed isn't the best (I've hit 168 maxing it out) but I don't ever really need to go that fast if ever, but I like to know it will if I ever decide to go that fast.Coming from cruisers, I do sometimes miss the comfort factor of them, but not enough to go back to them.
>>20092483>I live in Kentucky.Ayo waddup. What region you in. We can go ride together.
>>20092505Jessamine county here. Nicholasville to be exact.
>>20092500If I want speed i'll hop on my fast bike. But that shit is meh. Id much rather have a nice relaxing scoot around town on the land yacht. I'd sell the fast bike before the comfy one. No doubt in my mind

>>20094039>>20094038>>20094027>>20094019>>20093988>>20093978>>20093909Yep, one single disk is useless. In fact, with only one disk, the harder you squeeze, that faster you go! It's the little know secret to Marquez' success, he has one of his two front disks on "full stoppie" at all times, giving him superior acceleration and top speed!!1!
>>20094166>there are people in this thread that think drum brakes work as well as discWew
>>20094173There are people in this thread trolling that one disk == death.
>>20094198Its not a troll. Its a joke.Welcome to /dbt/ newfag. Catch up on your memes please.
>>20094198Its not one disc. Its drum rear. Get with the times newfriend
>>20094173Drum brakes can work very, very well. But they tend to be grabby, and are always heavier than disks for the same stopping power, They are also hard to cool. But for pure swept area, they can't be beat.
>>20094207You have it backwards, friend. The ideal setup is one rear disk and a drum front brake. Wins races, yo!
>people arguing and trolling over the effectiveness of a rear drum brake on a bike that has 13 horsepower
>>20094237First day here i see.Its not a troll. Its a meme. From a legendary man called sodarun.
>>20093888>Carpool lane>130 mph>4amSo what you're saying is you stand out like a sore thumb. I'm not telling you what to do, just know that you're part of the reason people hate sport bike riders
> Ride 45hp bike shitbike> Have fun for couple years> grow out of it. scraping pegs everywhere and feels underpowered> do mah research. everyone says next step is 600cc or 750> Decide to skip all that and get a 1400cc inline 4> scraping pegs some weeks later. no issues with throttle control of doom> lack discipline and impulse control> some weeks ago received a ticket for doing over 30mph in a city zone.> fine is almost 900. Now have a criminal record. No ragrets but its true. big boi bikes not only requires skill but also mental maturity. I learned me lesson.
>>20094350how fast were you going?
>>20094380yea heard that before. Thing is, if you make the step that I made your not calibrated to notice the speed on a 1400. Like when I did 55 on my 45hp bike I felt it from the vibes and engine sound but the 1400cc bike just sounds like its just of idle. Thats what messed me up.Btw It was at night and i wasnt racing or something. so didnt endanger anybody.
has anyone used leg pouches in lieu of tank bags?
>>20094412Good for keeping broken pieces of sparkplug porcelain at the ready.I keed I keedI thought about leg pouches but you can only carry the minimal things like wallet, phone, keys, condoms (not that i need them) and maybe some candy. which is handy for maybe a commute or short ride but i would prefer a hip bag in that case, easier to take on/off and more usefull when walking (stuff at arms reach without bending over)Tankbag is much more usefull for touring etc. Also I think leg pouch only looks cool if you athetlicly built and have a big package that prints trough your pants.
>>20094412looks autistic as fuck
>>20094422what's the differences between a hip bag and a leg pouch?Do you mean a fanny pack?
>>20094325I don't own a sportbike I own a naked, why would people hate me, the whole reason I'm going that fast is because noone else is in the carpool lane on the weekends.Weekdays I have to lanesplit all the way and get to notice 1/4rth the cars in the carpool lane are only 1 driver fucking over the multiple people cars who are trying to get to work on time.
>>20094430yes thats what I ment. and its not gay, there are some really cool looking ones specifically designed for riding out that. Kriega makes them as well.
>>20094350>opening up the throttle in a city with cameras everywhereDunno why people do this but thanks for making my insurance quotes higher
>>20092754What is this great white shark?
>>20094450I didnt "open" up anything dude. The thing wants to do 100mph in first. Like I said, wasnt used to it. it happens on real bikes.
>>20094499So the bike has a mind of its own
>>20094389what sort of cucked country or state if usa u live in
>>20094412I sometimes wear a fanny pack when dirt biking.
>>20094503Literally. I release the clutch from a standstill. the thing will do 15mph. Crack the throttle 0.20 of an inch and your breaking the speed limit in town.
>>20094442Are any of those things meant to justify behavior that deserves felony charges? And lane splitting is illegal in all but the most homosexual and communist states. It should be legal, but it isn't.
>>20094549>speeding ticket>felonyNani the fuck
>>20094577Sports bike riders should be charged with a felony and have their license revoked for 1 week for each mph they went over the speed limit.
Any of you kids in Socal interested in a 2017 fz07 with lots of mods?
>>20094592>buying modded bikesnever again
>>20094592>lots of mods>stock foot pegsGo dump it off the snake
what do you use to clean the chain?kerosene?
>>20094592>with lots of modsWay to make the buyer pool even smaller.
>>20094577In many places being caught past a certain speed becomes a felony because you're committing reckless endangerment of the general public.
>>20094720Yes, use kerosene, and don't be stingy with it
>>20094666hey there my dude I do adjustable woodcraft rearsets they just aren't on the bike anymore
>>20094729There's only 5 used FZ07s within 25 miles of me, I don't think the pool is very big where I live.Hell I was going to sell it for less than what these people are selling their stock bikes for.
Riding my dad's '78 Honda CT90 is making me want a motorcycle permit. This thing is pretty fun and it only gets to about 50 mph Kek. Any recs? Is the shitzuki meme real? I'm currently leaning towards a Kawasaki ninja 500.
>>20094852>Is the shitzuki meme real?No.
>>20094852can't go wrong with a Yamaha
>>20094852>Is the shitzuki meme real?Yes.

>>20094856>>20094857>>20094861>>20094862unified as usual
>>20094852>shitzuki meme1 angry Suzuki hater spamming in dbt threads does not count as a "meme"
>>20094865get yourself a nice yamaha
>>20094870>its just oneHa, no.
>>20094877Those bikes look fucking godlike in person but I wouldn't ever want to ride such a gigantic thing.Have never seen a single 1 on the road.
>>20094880One guy clearly started it spamming the same phrases/images every single thread. Maybe the forced meme caught on to other people now I don't know.
>>20094921All ive seen is one guy who started telling the truth about a shit company and others started seeing how shit it is too.
>>20094926Hello shitzuki poster :)
>>20094928I am one of them. Yes
>>20094928At least he has a bike
>>20094852Why don't you just get a nice Yamaha instead?
>>20094870>SuzukiI believe you mean 'shitzuki'I don't mean to embarrass you, it's a common mistake
>>20093853>The others, just ching chong ping pong why haven't they merged into 1 giant changasaur.>Sherco>Scorpa>Lambretta>Crossfire>ching chongThe only Chinese ones on that list are Kymco, CFmoto, and Benelli.
