Then why can't jacob collier do it? Why cant 2 year autistic azn violin virtuosos do it?
>>
>>84492516
Because he had an encyclopedic knowledge of protopunk-to-post punk to new wave and lots of 'pop' guitar music

Nirvana was basically mashups of PiL, Killing Joke and Boston and loads of other stuff using a guitar instead of a sampler. If you know music theory and you reach the theory singularity you come full circle and realize that people who learn loads of songs instead of taking lessons know theory very well without knowing the technical terms
>>
Ever heard of The Crossroads? He eventually had to pay that debt back.
>>
>>84492516
Brute force. And by listening to a lot of music and taking it in
>>
>>84492516
Jesus fucking Christ you're a faggot, music theory is intuitive, writing pop hooks is generally not that hard
>>
because he knew the key to making pop music is to basically make nursery rhymes for teenagers
>>
>>84492628
>people who learn loads of songs instead of taking lessons know theory very well
This.
>>
>>84492903
that's not really true of nirvana though, there's hecks of chromaticism and harmonic tension in his songs
>>
>>84492627
because they have no soul
>>
>>84492516
music theory is for uncreative, pretentious try-hards. just play what sounds good, keep trying new things until it sounds good.
>>
>>84492870
>writing pop hooks is generally not that hard
it's hard to do it above mediocrity though, not to mention be really clever about it like cobain was

more to the point WHY CAN'T WE DO IT
>>
>>84493416
he’s a soulless robot
>>
>>84492627
this is why im not envious of "virtuosos", because they usually have no soul or ounce of creativity.

OK that's it.
I've decided Nirvana was written by the Tavistock Institute. Adorno was dead (his last song being Kashmir by 'Led Zeppelin') but he trained people in the art. That's the only explanation. It was created by big brained people who were masters of theory to brainwash the youth. Cobain was a photogenic actor designed to be the public face of the music

There is no way that The Beatles actually wrote their own songs. If you knew what scousers were actually like you'd know. And it wasn't different in the 50s-60s it was actually worse.

The thing is, the adjacent areas of liverpool are 99% of those who come into contact with them other than scousers themselves: northwest english people with australian abo-tier IQ so they're not going to be aware of anything

Scousers are weird, stupid and annoying. They're so dumb that the government/lizard people actually tried to purge them via economic sabotage in the 70s.

Scousers could not tie a shoelace never mind write a song, The Beatles were chaperoned by dodgy characters like jimmy savile throughout their career and George Martin was an ex-military Fleet Air Arm "aerial observer" which was his fake job title, as my great grandfather was a "fleet air arm observer" captured by the nazis in gran canaria for spying on warships at the port (this was carried out by MI6) and his records which were obvious forgeries - incongruous with actual fleet air arm positions and activities during the war.

George Martin was classically trained and writing their music for them, probably with groups of other southern spies. Nothing good has come out of Liverpool since The Beatles. During the whole Madchester and Britpop thing even small northern towns had big bands but l'pool is so uniquely shite they had nothing (the Zutons doesn't count).

He doesn't want to.
>>
He just grew up listening to a balance of heavier rock (black Sabbath, later Melvins type stuff) and melodic pop music (big Beatles fan from childhood) while practicing the guitar/songwriting for years (probably because his life sucked).

Its all just circumstance and practice aligning at the right time. He offered what pop music had desperately needed at the time (debatable)

Brains are fragile funny things.
You know how some people just understand math and learn way faster than the rest of the class? Well thats pretty much these guys, they just understood/learned really quick. They figured it out kind of like reverse engineering songs. Some people become insane painters really quick, for some it takes a longer time. Its not about them knowing about it beforehand they just learned fast as fuck and outpaced everyone else.

The true redpill is that Kurt Cobain was an Irishman. A sentimental and self pitying race who are adepts at creating catchy little morose tunes on their gypsy violins.
Like Lennon, McCartney, the Pogues, Johnny Rotten, the Gallagher trogs, W.S. Sullivan and many others.
Horse faced pure anglos are good at abstraction but cannot create anything catchy to save their lives. Look at Pink Floyd. Have they ever written an ear worm?

Know loads of songs, as well as spend a lot of time with their respective instruments. The visualization aspect that comes with playing is indispensable to this.

His father, Patrick Moriarty, is also a musician. Regarding the role music plays within his family, Collier says, "We singBach chorales together as family –
