Ninja Captor, Kagestar and ep11+ of Akumaizer 3 and Bibyun are top of my Toei wants.

I trust that Big Nova will get to the end of Kyodain, but I have zero faith in KIT subs finishing Akumai- well, anything, really....
>>
>>17463451
At least Marvel's subs are fairly well archived so people can at least watch the show if they missed it while it was on their site. Too bad that they couldn't have done it themselves legally.
>>
>>17463465
The last time KIT had any updates on Akumaizer 3 was nearly four years ago. Suffice it to say, somebody SHOULD be able to pick it up without worrying that they're "sniping" it or whatever.

I thank the lord every day that Toei did not produce the original show, so there's no early to mid 2000s remake like there is for Kamen Rider or Akakage.
>>
>>17463465
At least there are readily available raws for Ninja Captor and Akumaizer 3 for everyone to enjoy.
>>

Shit, the last update from KIT Subs at all, on any of their social media, was 2017. Groups have been presumed dead-by-ninjas after less time than that in the past.

>No one will ever resub the series
There's a torrent of pretty good R2 rips and the same old flvs clunking around, off the top of my head my mediafire uploads are still there, pretty sure I saw them on archive.org too
basically anybody who wants can go through and transcribe the existing marvel subs and graft them on to the raws

I was aware of this, but I'd only ever seen it referred to as 'reminisient' of tokusatsu in Japan. I'm fairly sure I'm just splitting hairs at this point, though....

You're either gonna have to track down the original release, or watch it on a pc with a player that allows you to delay/opposite-of-delay the subs so that they're around at the right audio. Won't be perfect, but dvd subs never are, and besides it's still better than the default

People complaining about sub "sniping" is retarded anyway. Especially if you've been inactive for, I'd say, three months without giving a reason. Let alone this silent for years shit.
It's a FANsub for something that will most likely never get licensed by fans for fans. The fans don't own it and this "sense of ownership" that some groups have over it is kinda weird.
The XIG was a god send and there's nothing that makes me believe we would have ever gotten it fully subbed without them.
Metallic Fansubs is a fantastic sub group which is absolutely killing it and finishing shows in like two months but he refuses to touch anything any group already started or even claimed, no matter how dead or preoccupied with other things they are.

I usually tend to start with chronological order whenever I'm interested in something. And honestly I just have thise weird fake nostalgia feeling when it comes to old stuff. Dunno how better to describe it. I probably just like that time period.
But main reason was the suit. Goddamn I love Space Sheriffs' suits and Gavan is my favorite long before I even considered to start watching show itself.

Downloaded and watched first episode of Gorenger too, loved it, but probably will contunie watching it after Gavan. amount of deaths in first episode, geez

I won't lie, the best way will be to wait for MFC to come through with their subs. The current ones are HK machine-translations that are pretty shite. Mangled grammar, noticeable fuck-ups for names and slang, all very frequent. If you think you can put up with it, Shaider is at least a sufficiently weird show, and the whole thing's very visual anyway with hardly any dialogue outside of the first and last handful of episodes, to where you could probably make do. They're on Nyaa https://nyaa.si/view/927129 it'll be a bit slow but I can vouch for it being complete and working.

Muslim here. I think the concept of a muslim hero is novel, not really offensive, and I highly doubt any other muslims would find it so either, provided they're not memetic fundies. If there were any contentious parts in Messenger of Allah, it might be the name, since it's similar to "prophet".
