Pls, Sunrise. Make this suit canon. It's sooo good looking.

>>17039868>It's actually a prototype VirsagoBravo Stephanie Pena-Sy
>>17039883or the end
>>17039852But it already got in BFT?
I used to hate the G-Saviour's space mode because of the exposed upper arm and leg frame, but it kind of grew on me after a while. The models they use in the movie aren't very good, but seeing the design elsewhere, it looks a lot better.
Canon enough to make it into Build Fighters. If Sentinel can be justified as canon that way then so can G-Saviour.
>>17040118>my death only proves that I lived
>>17039888> When your Gunpla has a stand
>>17040118This. I'd also like to think that the Narrative Gundam unarmored arm and thigh section is sort of a homage to G-Savior's design.
>>17040118>>17040215IBO Gundam Waists likely were inspired by the GS and earlier Corral from X
>>17040249Or you know, not; because more than one person can have an idea in a vacuum. Especially when that idea is so general (I know, let's make the waist thin). And when G-Savior's waists aren't that similar in the first place.
>>17039852only thing sexy than G-saviour's design is the G3 Saviour
>>17040272Is that actually supposed to be proving something?
>>17039856That thing looks like an unfinished Master Grade kit.
>>17040318>Those rollerbladesI am erect now.
>>17040357>buy MG Narrative kit>it's just the Nu MG's internals
>>17039852if it has a toy, it's canon
>>17040249IBO waists are just a thing that Washio does for almost all his mecha designs.
>>17040318>rollerbladesWhy am I laughing
>>17039852it is canon. for now.
>>17039862nearly two hundred years to finally go..."why don't we just put a robot in there"
Every other Gundam series gets a manga retelling, they need one for G-Saviour
>>17041296>>17041297would be awesome
>>17041297MS-Rai is sexually arousing.
>>17041306>>17041297>>17041296Been considering making one myself, but I have my own co/m/ic to work on too
So, a question about G-Savior aesthetics. The fin backpack is a thing in F91, then seemingly phased out in Victory era but returned in G-Savior. Why?
>>17041534no one knows why g-saviour era suits regressed but i'm guessing with the fall of the earth federation, most MS tech got lost in the shuffle. >your face when hasegawa makes the v gundam - g-saviour interim manga.
did they ever explain how the space mode's conventional thrusters can generate that much thrust? anyone got the comparison chart?
>>17040870>>17040249IBO mechs were meant to have regular waists initially.
>>17041534>>17041566my own headcannon has all the tech we're use to becoming so ubiquitous to the point of being mundane like the 360 cockpit being rendered virtually leaving us with the 3 screen set up as a redundancy.also a massive revolution in armor design and creation, it seems like the stuff has a ridiculous threshold to beam weaponry, when Mark and Jack are fighting on the colony mirror and Mark finally gets the upper hand, he has to beat on jack like the police from futurerama to put him down.
>>17039852G-savior may have been a crap movie, but the mech designs were pretty good. Anyone know who was in charge of the designs in the movie?
>>17041865I think Okawara has that credit.
>>17041865Okawara, IMO at his best
>>17041899So any other pros tried to make their own take on these designs?
>>17040318Is G3 or J-Saviour the more advance suit?
>>17043097If i remember correctly it's the G3I think the J is step below the G3
>>17039855Saviour in G-Saviour colours is pretty sexy.
>>17044245Nice!So bioluminescent algae isn't the most ridiculous UC thing now right thanks to unicorn BS?
>>17045682I wouldn't have though bioluminescent algae were ridiculous at all. Or the most ridiculous thing in UC at any point even if they were, since putting aside how few people know or care about it, there's still multiple Newtype feats that pre-existing it. I do recall finding the idea bioluminescent algae were a solution to mass hunger a bit ridiculous, at least without some further explanation, but not to preposterous levels by any stretch.
>>17046166link me up on this artbook
>>17045713The algae is pretty much the biggest non-visual complaint that I keep encountering.Need to rewatch it again but yeah, the algae itself isn't the potential food source but the means to make deep sea agriculture viable.
>>17045713at least the algae gave us a look at that funny guppy boy. i wonder if it's a far off descendant of the Z'gok
>>17046859Who designed the guppy and Rai? Their lineart varies greatly from the others.
>>17046944whoever it is notes in legible English.i do know it says it at the bottom of the page in katakana, i'm about as trash as most at interpreting it. if i used the right kana chart i think it says kehin ishishoka?
>>17041594...Huh. I don't think the final IBO designs are bad per se but I wish they were more like that concept art.
>>17039852Sunrise is like Bandai.you are never getting that gunple
>>17046989Top: Kunio OkawaraBottom: Kevin Ishioka
>>17047889So Kevin designed the booster pack?
>>17046240I don't have a DD for it, but I could dump it
>>17041176Why aren’t drones more prominent? We got mobile dolls in wing and fun funnels, but you’d think the learning computer tech could be reused and eventually phase out humans altogether.Shit, what if that the cause of the calamity war in IBO?
>>17041297Why isn’t that scanned?
>>17049037funnels/bits are cheaper?g-saviour already has an AI MA though that really fucks up things if you put the calamity war after the g-saviour in terms of the Turn-A continuity
>>17045713Algae is definitely a realistic food source. It’s being proposed for animal feed already, and could be engineered for humans.
>>17049045iirc that's just a novel with manga bits
>>17049047Well I mean ignoring it as a shared timeline, AI controlled MS should already be a thing.
>>17049054I’d pay for a manga a la the origin. Make an anime with the original actors as dub voices.
>>17049061how advanced are AIs supposed to be to compensate for minovsky jamming? wing as far as i know doesn't have such things so MDs are possible.
>>17049082and even then MDs aren't fool-proof (g-unit/last outpost has oz prize just wirelessly hacked white fang's MDs to add to their own), though that's just plot shenanigans (character states how SIMPLE it was to hack MDs).
>>17049054i'm totally down for a manga as long as they keep the starship troopers combat outfits.
>>17048648please do it.
>>17049120people like to shit on the ST suits but those are surprisingly long lasting suits. anyone got a pic of the ruined kamen rider gills suit?
>>17049082If they’re autonomous then they could just not have wireless connections period except to contact homebase, which normal MS can do anyway and is vulnerable in both cases.
>>17049150so outside of NT shenanigans, how will they control AI weapons?
>>17049152How do non-newtypes communicate? Also, instead of feeding outside contact directly into the computer have some redundancy measures, like a screen the thing reads.
>>17049152Really good AI. It's not totally inconceivable, after all we have shit like the Amuro AI drifting through space in Crossbone Gundam. It's perfectly within the limits of UC technology to have AI capable of human judgement.
>>17049380while true, it still fell for an AI flaw (incapable of discerning from enemy and ally batara's).also, aside from plot, how the heck did the jupiter empire manage to get amuro's data?
>>17049485found grandad gundam remains from abq and ran learning computer sims on bioengineered brains until a newtype came out
>>17049052The algae spirulina is already consumed by humans. Seaweed is an algae as well and people have been eating that for thousands of years, so algae itself can definitely be a food. What I found weird was the bioluminescent part, not the algae part. The movie doesn't do a good job explaining why that breakthrough is significant in terms of algae farming or world hunger. I'm not sure it even explains it at all.
>>17048634My mistake, I meant >>17046859. Both Rai pictures in >>17046989 are by that guy Kevin.
>>17049152I"m curious how a NT would fare against an AI, since isn't their whole schtick being that they have incredible spatial awareness cause they can sense emotional intentions at a distance, wouldn't An AI basically be invisible to a new type? considering they have no emotions to speak of.
>>17051102> wouldn't An AI basically be invisible to a new type? You mean like funnels?
>>17051102that pic looks like someone took a screen cap off the game.
>>17051114aren't funnels still mentally controlled by somebody else? i would think they would still give off that glaring intention that the newtypes love pick up on.
>>17051126That doesn't help in shooting them down.Which every gundam protagonist who faces them starts doing.
>>17051102Newtypes don't just sense emotional intent and life, though. They also have precognition in general, like when Amuro sensed that the Solar Ray laser was about to be fired. No one died yet and he would have been too far away to sense the emotions, intent, or the presence of Gihren or the person who pushed the button to initiate the colony laser.More examples might be Quess sensing 5th luna falling to earth and yelling out specific directions for the shuttle pilot to steer, even though she can't see the asteroid properly. Or Amuro and Char on foot inside Axis firing rockets and bazookas at each other, they can vaguely sense where the other person is, but they're also using tricks like remotely triggered rockets to try and kill each other with, yet they both keep missing. That implies that they know they can sense each other's intent and are deliberately trying to make it not so easy to sense where the attack is coming from by using tripwires and misdirection, but they both still manage to escape each blast.
>>17050160Yeah, it could be the process that causes it to glow is different.
>>17051126>>17051114>>17051137Funnels/Bits have their own AI that works in tandem with the Psycommu system. The Nu's FF acted on their own due to Amuro's emotions and are what caused Kayra's death
I wonder if Newtypes can remve/dampen their presence to other NTs/OTs? That'd be an interesting miniboss, they'd likely pilot some stealth/sniper MS to further such an advantage.
>>17051291I thought that was because they rushed the fin funnel deployment (hasn't fine tuned it yet/amuro hasn't mastered it yet)
>>17040318you can tell this was made for the 2000s
>>17041003Imagine roller/rumble ball with MS
>>17040318Chirico piloting this, what happens next?
>>17051299Hasegawa's Victory Sidestory manga introduced a B-tier newtype villain whose schtick is being able to lie through his mind, so that only other newtypes would see these illusions. They beat him when Judau sacrifices the last remaining piece of his ZZ Gundam by using the hi mega cannon as a high powered beam flashbang/flare that illuminates everything. They are then able to see the real enemy casting a shadow, and he gets taken down like the loser he is.
>>17039852Oh god how did I miss a G-Saviour thread this is beautiful
I like the boosters
>>17052137G-3 is hot, RE/100 Bandai please
>>17051916be kinda neat to see a gundam series base around a sport. not like a game type sport like build fighters was like but like a rough and tumble type of sport like football or soccer.
>>17053632> soccer> rough and tumbleI have never seen soccer described in those words before, and I doubt I ever will again. Thanks for the confused laugh though.
>>17053668You actually think real football is a sissy sport?
>>17053696It depends on what you mean by "real" football, because there's several different sports world wide referred to as football. Soccer, especially professional soccer, is though, yes. The professional players tend to be screaming drama queens and prima donnas more concerned with individual success than that of their team.
>>17053726made the distinction because despite most of the world calling it that, america insists their football is the true one (why else would they rename the other sport 'soccer')?>The professional players tend to be screaming drama queens and prima donnas more concerned with individual success than that of their team.that sounds like it could be any professional sport
>>17053788Not many professional sports I've seen have players diving at the slightest contact to roll around on the ground for audience sympathy they know the referee has been too emasculated to refuse in many cases.
>>17053788You would have to be intentionally lying to assume this level of diving exists in all pro sports and occurs as frequently. The only American "sport" that is just as shameless at acting is WWE wrestling on television.
>>17053844>when that one guy touched Char's shoulder in the origin OVA
>>17051291all of this Newtypes vs. AI discussion does bring out a neat thought to me. how rare newtypes seem to be still even in UC 223. Consent goes full ham into research that going by comments here, is easily circumvented by a newtype.
>>17056121there's the whole conflict = newtypes thingand then there's zoltan akkanen saying "newtypes -> evolution = bullshit!"
>>17039852G-SAVIOUR was ahead of its time.
>>17056360when will it be it's time for SRW?
>>17056121I'd fuck that fan design.
>>17058234not even X-Omega?
>>17058225Posting artbook scans in separate thread
I just want to play as it in a game other than the ps2 1 ofc
>>17058237it's a cleaned up design for the G3-saviour space mode. which i think they just upped and dropped for the G3-to be multipurpose with out having to change the frame drastically
anyone know what this is? browsing my hard drive and i can't recall where i found this on the internet.
>>17059793some kind of G-Savior resin kits, I see the G-3 legs in there
>>17058254X-omega is probably the only chance in hell G-saviour will ever be in SRW
